Bros, there's a literal fucking Protest going on in the basement of my apartment building rn, like news crew and everything, and I'm just here like "plz don't make the company that owns the building decide to just condemn it bc I cannot afford an eviction bc y'all are pissed like I get it but consider your poor neighbors I beg you"

Like, I do get it, I Do. The building is old AF, there's one maintenance man for the entire 10 story building, we've gone through like 6 companies and 20 managers in the last 6 years alone. It's got a roach problem bc it has people constantly moving in and out and the pest control company they use only come once every 3 months. Yes, the last big freeze made a lot of pipes burst and there was a lot of water damage

But, like, Please Consider that it is the ONLY FUCKING APARTMENTS in these part of the city that has rent for ONE BEDROOM APARTMENTS that is under $700. That Rent, Gas, Water, and Waste are all combined without Added Tax. That you're allowed more than one small animal, and that doesn't add a Pet Fee to your rent. That the doors in and out of the building have Security Locks so Only Residents Can Enter without dumbasses pinning them open or breaking them bc "it's faster". That Actually Care To Call The Police if there is domestic violence on the premise or SUSPECTED domestic violence happening.

I get it. A lot of people are getting evicted rn, but have you considered that a lot of them fucking deserve it for property damage and lease violations???

And that Protesting this building is NOT getting to the root of the issue, which is the Company the Owns The Building, NOT the current manager. The building manager has NO CONTROL over the budget for the building, they have to get Every Major Upgrade Approved First. And if the company decides that it's too much hassle and y'all irritate them enough, you'll get your wish, they Will Do Something About It. Like.. evict everyone and have the building torn down, leaving dozens homeless with little money to re-home themselves and barely any time to even Pack let alone find a new home.

Please, ffs, CONSIDER YOUR GODDAMN NEIGHBORS before you pull shit like this where

Due to the recent events scoring back up, I'm not interacting with Hello Neighbor or the fandom for a long time. These past few months have gotten SO out of hand, and have left me mentally frustrated and extremely uncomfortable.

Most of you will know what I'm talking about when I refer to the "situation" in the HN Tumblr. If you came here for Hello Neighbor content, then you're out of luck for a while.

I'm not gonna call out any names, but I'm aware of who and what is causing most of this mess.

It really sucks seeing so many Dean and Cas posts erasing their bisexuality this pride month. I even have a whole (longer, more thorough) post written about this that's been sitting in my drafts since June 1st because I know how vicious the fandom and queer community can be on the topic of bisexuality, like bisexuals are taking them from gays or straights when *literally* the opposite is happening. And i can't believe it's still so fucking scary to talk about, but here I go.

And I'm not even trying to fight about it or anything, please don't misunderstand my tone, I'm just tired and upset and desperately want to see change. This is *not* an attack, because I think a lot of people don't even know they're participating in casual biphobia/erasure bc it's just so commonplace. Please be nice, I just cannot argue about this in 2024, this is merely a plea and a vent, I'm not editing or anything, this is just my two bisexual cents.

Bi erasure hurts, I am not joking or exaggerating. Dean and Cas are both such important characters for bi visibility, and I'm seeing so many posts completely ignoring, or worse, misrepresenting their sexualities.

If you've only watched their character development through a monosexual lens, I promise you are missing out on a story that really highlights plenty of experiences *unique* to bisexuality, and forcing it to fit into any monosexual box (straight or gay) also highlights the bi erasure experience. We exist. We aren't "under the gay umbrella". No, it's not okay bc you think it's not that serious.

We deserve our representation too. Our stories/characters matter just as much as yours. They deserve as much protection as yours. And if you love them, maybe you can love us, without feeling the need to tear us in half to be worthy of that love.

(NOT ATSV) my ideal miguel and miles friendship (bordering on enemies) dynamic is where Miles is sort of a Mean Girls figure where he’ll say the worst things to Miguel, who actually has no problems dishing that shit right back out, is usually too fed up or somewhere else mentally to reply. They fight a lot, more physically than verbally, usually in a slapstick comedy type of way. Miles is banned from Nueva York once a month and got a restraining order against Miguel in his own dimension. His parents fucking hate him and Miguel hates them right back. Rio has tried and failed to poison him via food and Jeff is considering hiring a hitman. Gabriel is beloved by them. Miles takes Miguel’s money at least twice a week to go spend it just because he can. Miguel has tried (and succeeded once) to get Miles sick with a future illness because he figured out the lesbian bar Miguel liked to perform at in drag. Miles has cried at least once in every room of Miguel’s apartment and Miguel has been confused on what to do each time besides an awkward hug and pat on the back. People are rightfully worried for Miles’s safety at least 80% of the time but when they aren’t they’re shaking their heads at the two’s antics. They need to be separated until they have a healthy “this is a grown ass man / this is stupid little girl i don’t like at work” relationship and it’ll take an act of god for either of them to realize their current one isn’t healthy at all and has extremely negative impacts on their mental state.

hi, I hate people fighting over national dishes and stuff, especially when it doesn't make sense. grabbing Turks by their shoulders. look at me. Greeks did not steal your dishes. Greece was part of the ottoman empire, under Turkish conquerors, for over--stay with me--400 years. and in some places for even 500 years. Turks were eating in the same place as greeks. it's next to impossible for them to not adapt to those tastes. they had 400 years to do so anyway. that's a very long while mind you. so when you say Greece has stolen baklavas, tzatziki, dolmades or whatever else, you're forgetting basic history and you're disregarding how easily people are influenced and affected by their environment. no one stole anything. no need to feel so pressed about it. obviously, this is not for every Turk, but holy cow have I seen so many complain about this.

what would have made you like it? if catradora wasn't so loaded and charged as to simply swallow a potential third node in the dynamic. also maybe if we had seen catra in the best friend squad more, i usually think of her interactions with adora and glimmer separately to one another.

despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? for sure, i like the potential of glimmer/catra as foils in particular. the show obvs gestures to that with catra's jealousy and replacement anxiety and i'm always here for it >:) that moment where catra tells glimmer adora will leave her in due time too?? mwah. honestly i think i like this more as a bitter platonic triangle. i like all three characters and there's definitely a lot of juice there to tap into, even if my instinctive read is that as a ship it might be too complex and volatile a stew for my tastes!

I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family- my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak-have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.

We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.

Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.

If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,
