Every day I wake up and think about how irreversibly Arcana Arcadia has altered my brain chemistry. They did not have to go that hard for an arc exclusively in the mobile game and yet

In keeping with the common refrain of 'these ships are too new to be canon' I present the above! 10 ships all from before 2000, I'm allowing ships from 1998-1999 even though they don't pass the 25 year threshold just yet. Xena/Gabrielle is also not included because I only have 10 spots and they just won an entire bracket.

The poll will be up for a week, but the Intermission bracket will probably go up before it finishes, depending on how quickly prep for the next full bracket goes.

Okay, real talk. The next main series chapter is up in arms when it will be released. I have it ready to go, but I also have an intermission chapter that are from various pov's from other characters to catch up with whats been occurring in Westeros during the past 3 chapters. I can release that sometime this week as a bonus chapter, or I can release it on Monday as the next proper update, and the monday after that we return to Jon and the Reader.

It includes pov's from characters we've yet to see through the eyes of, and a new book only character who will be introduced later, but there is no Jon or reader whatsoever, so it's up to you guys if you want that released as its own proper update as normal, or if I should release it in the next few days as bonus content.

thinking about how idyllic the village of Alderhill is portrayed as in both Cillian and the Ronans' eyes. For the Ronans its the antithesis to a place that was never their home and they couldn't wait to escape. The Village is a spot they would vacation to in the summers of their youth. For all appearances, it's just a nice, quiet getaway from everything that ever troubled them (except themselves). Blissfully unaware of its real history and their grandmother's direct involvement with it.

To Cillian, it's something others have told him is (in the post-war social landscape at least) a bit of a taboo, dangerous place that he instead finds charming and harmless once he sees it for himself. The faction that made it so harrowing for the Hill-folk dissipated, and along with it, well known contempt for his kind. It's a little piece of rebellion he holds dear, and now that he's cut off from it for the time being, the grass on the other side only looks greener. But really, the main draw is the potential companions he could harvest from its grounds. It's a place of possibility.

In reality it's just another place. A peaceful one in present, a tapestry of people and their stories, lives, daily hustle and bustle. I'm sure you could find parts of it that are truly rotten if you dug deep enough, but the rose tinted glasses stay on for now.
