Which Steven Universe fic should I write next?

Option 1

Copycat/Imposter. Connie’s dad arrests Steven for a recent string of robberies in Beach City with security camera footage (in black and white) placing him at the scene of the crime. Steven pleads innocent and Connie investigates to prove Steven’s innocence. She finds nothing at the crime scene, and after reviewing the footage she notices what looks like a gem on the back of “Steven’s” neck that leads her to believe a gem may be behind this. After more investigating further she finds the culprit but with the gems bust with Little Homeschool Connie bends some rules and breaks Steven out of prison (though he can easily do it himself he was just hoping things would clear themselves up) they corner the gem. Steven and the gem get in a tussle then break apart, the gem having shapeshifter to look like Steven again makes it difficult to tell who’s who but Connie quickly figured out who the real Steven is and poofs the other gem. When they reform Steven asks why they did it, the gem says that a Ruby and an Aquamarine told them it was a fun game humans play.

Option 2

Steven’s car breaks down on his road trip and with a bad storm blowing in he has to seek refuge at his grandparents house, grandparents who he’s never met before and have no idea of his existence. (Grandparents are like Emily and Richard Gilmore)

My name's Robin (or Victor!!, I love this name but nobody calls me Victor anymore, it upsets me 🌝), I use he/him and if I were to describe myself shortly I would say I'm an old ladyman who loves the calmer bits of life and will turn into a more lovable being when given a cup of tea.

My art mostly! This strongly correlates with my interests, although sometimes it's just boring study. Therefore...

So, currently my brains rotting over animal crossing, however, there's a long list to go.

The three columns on which my brain stands are history, theatre, fashion and art, often combined. Heavy on fashion history, since I dream of one day working on theatre costuming in historical plays (to me that's anywhere before the 70s, but my favorite eras in fashion are the ones between 1860-1935~).

My favorite painters and plastic artists of all time would have to be Sorolla, Mucha, Schiele, Sargent and Millais. I adore the Pre-Raphaelites :3

My favorite playwrights, writers and poets are Lorca, Miguel Hernández, Bequer, Mary Shelley and Kropotkin (sometimes, other times he leaves me half satisfied sadly). My favorite play is Bodas de Sangre by Lorca. Perhaps you can begin to tell that I'm Spanish hehe

On the more pop culture side of things:

I love wwdits; ofmd; good omens (about the Neil thing, yep, screw him, I'm here for the gays and historical costuming); Gotham; Yaelokre; anything old school vkei, I'm extremely basic my favorite band will forever be malice mizer; lolita fashion, specially gothic lolita; 80s counterculture; Adventure time, bonnibel and I are the same being except for the dictator thing🌝; Over the Garden Wall; Gilmore Girls, I've watched it 7 times+random episodes, help aaaaand that's about it!

Wendy texted Conny almost as soon as she made it to campus; she pretty much thought nonstop about the buffalo chicken tenders sold at the Byrne Dining Hall for the last hour of the drive up from Boston. The simple message of ‘Buff Chick Tendies. 1:00 !!!!!!!!’ seemed straightforward enough to her. So a plan was made. And while her parents decided to stay at a cute little B&B in town with plans to meet up with her for brunch the next day before they left, that didn’t stop Wendy from calling her mom the very moment she dropped all her bags off in her new room. Standing by the curb, not thinking all too much about the volume with which she spoke, she filled her mom in on her first few hours of being a college sophomore.

“Yes—yes, it is just like the pictures online. Like, this cute little setup with a common room and then two for real bedrooms, two beds each. Actually, y’know what, it so reminds me of—wait, you remember the season of Gilmore Girls when Rory first started at Yale, right? And she shared a dorm with Paris? It’s sooo that vibe. Super fancy, but minus the sweet little surround sound her grandma set her up with. Oh my God, do you remember how pissed Lorelai was?” Wendy chattered, pausing to listen to her mom’s response. “Since when does he work at a Best Buy? Voice: The kind of gruff tone that doesn’t make you want to clear your own throat. He hasn’t got a memorable laugh, or one of those deep voices that makes you blush, or even the best accent. But his voice is pleasing on the ear and unremarkable enough that you don’t remember it when you finish talking to him. Lonnie fades into the crowd well. Speaks with an American accent.

Handwriting: Bad. Oh god, it’s so awful. Chicken scratch. It’s like the second he left school, he forgot how to write legibly. 

Lonnie is a master of the silent treatment. He and his mom barely exchanged words while Connie was at school and not living with them. Even when his sister was there, he got away with speaking very little in common spaces. He didn’t bother telling her he was leaving America. She wouldn’t have noticed anyway.

The only time he’s ever ignored Connie outright is when she came home once during her second year at Ilvermorny and proudly announced that he was what the kids at school called a ‘squib’. It was the first time she had separated the two of them as different. Before then, it hadn’t mattered that she had magic and he didn’t. It wasn’t something they talked about. But her world had a word specifically for someone ordinary like him, and it bugged him that she informed him so proudly. He didn’t speak to her for the remainder of her holiday.

Lonnie is used to the impermanence of home. During his final high school year in particular, he spent a lot of time away from his mother’s house. @quill-pen I do love a pink dress, so I am not complaining! The more the merrier, I say.

Can you imagine the grand entrance this dress makes. you know what, this is officially the dress Connie wears when first debuting as Adonis' girlfriend. They appear together as a couple at their first party/benefit. LOTS of ladies and gents have their dreams crushed that night.

After-work date dress. the blazer comes off after house to she can move a little more comfortably.

Ooooh, this gives me ranch/Western vibes. Maybe this is a lovely little top picked up on the Texas trip? Paired with a fun fringe skirt and cowboy boots? Talk about a change!

A cute news interview dress! The Scrooge Twins have just launched their newest charity endeavor, and Connie is pulled aside to answer a few questions. She does have media training from her days as a socialite and model, after all!

THIS is absolutely the Coming-Home-From-The-Honeymoon dress. Girl is GLOWING (and not just from tanning) and looks so happy.

Speaking of tanning, this looks like a lovely skirt she's throw on over a swimsuit bottom after catching some rays on the beach! (Always with sunscreen - she never tans in beds.)

Literally a posh Velma sweater! She would rock this with a cute red skirt and glasses too. A cute and casual look. Or Connie wearing this with jeans, looking straight out of Gilmore Girls?

I can see Bess and Connie sharing this dress often. It would look so cute with baby bumps, so they trade it off when the other hits the right point in the trimester to fill it out. ;;

I picture this being very tight and curve-hugging - she'd rock this as some kind of pool party in her modeling days, sipping drinks and secretly wishing she was home playing with kittens instead (not a euphemism, she actually wants to play with her pets instead of getting drunk and inhaling chlorine).

Another STELLAR pregnancy dress. Worn with some white, platform sneakers, definitely on a hot summer day. She's eating berries outside and watching the sunset with Adonis.

I know the tan one isn't as glam as her usual vibe, but I just see her in it for some reason. Might be a good, safe outfit for her first day as clerk when she starts at the bank. They could always send it to Josie to do a glam-up too.

The last one is kind of the same. Idk where she'd wear it or what for, but I see her in it. Maybe it'd be a cute beach dress?

All of these are so perfect! seriously, her in this very posh, chocolate/coffee brown is just clicking so well.

This feels like a date dress for a night at a jazz club or dueling piano bar. Just sitting, drinking a nightcap and savoring the music. I want her to pair it with some wedge shoes for ultimate 90s babe vibes.

Absolutely a shopping day dress. Easily gets paired with tall boots and a messy updo. It's the perfect 'lunch then shop' look because it's breezy but still elegant.

Definitely a first-day dress for her time as a clerk! She wants to look as formal as possible. What's more classy and formal than an A-line belted dress? She does wear it with heels and some gold jewelry too! Quite a few people stare on her way up and wonder who the hell got lucky enough to get HER in their office? (She also brought a briefcase).

LOVE this for the beach! It's almost a raisin-brown shade, which is so unique. This is one where she feels comfortable enough around the Pack to be herself, so she kicks off her shoes and is like...thigh-deep in the surf, twirling and having a blast. Love this dress with her hair down nice and loose.
