My favorite headcanon is that Steven literally never stops wearing his flip-flops. Like, he'll be pushing fifty, he'll be America's first man, and yet, even as Connie gives speeches in front of the White House, he'll still be rocking his iconic, red flip-flops.

Something about the pacing of Connverse is just right to me

They're each others best friends and they balance eachother out perfectly to start with. They both help each other feel more human. Their interactions together feel so natural and not forced which is why I fall in love with them.

Then in Steven's Birthday we get one of the silliest connverse moments. They're both so nervous and Steven gets flustered/nervous so easily. They're written so realistically for their age so it's just the perfect episode.

And then we finally get this moment in the movie. I could gush about this two second clip for literally ever. It's obvious from how they both react they're new to dating making this scene even more adorable. Not shown in the gif but Connie pausing and choosing to run back to give Steven a kiss on the cheek is so in character for her (she's more bold than Steven, it makes sense she'd be the one to do this). They're both just teens who are new to dating and it shows and that's what makes them adorable.

This gif speaks for itself. They've been dating for over a year at this point and they're so much more comfortable and confident in it. I find the reason most people dislike seeing friends to lovers in media is due to how rushed and forced it can seem but connverse is anything but that. Overall, they're just meant for each other, they're jam buds after all.

Lion headcanons!!

I just thought that if Rose had made her lion collection around 200 years ago she could keep barbary lions and they are so much cooler then regular ones??

I always find it strange when people headcanon Steven and Connie as "one-and-done" parents. Both of them grew up fairly lonely and unsocialized, so I feel like they would, at the very least, have two children. You also have to take into account Steven being Steven: he's kinda the nurturing type, and something tells me that behavior wouldn't disappear going into adulthood.
