Comply Comfort vaahtomuovitulpat nappikuulokkeisiin

Omat korvani lienevät jotenkin hassun malliset, sillä perus nappikuulokkeet eivät oikein tahdo istua niihin. Lähdin ratkomaan ongelmaa kokeilemalla Comply Foamin Comfort-vaahtomuovitulppia.

Perusnapeissa tulpat ovat yleensä silikonia, ne ovat helppo pitää puhtaana, mutta ei välttämättä istu tukevasti korvassa. Joissakin kuulokkeissa on Complyt tai vastaavat myös vakiona, mutta omissa Sonyissäni oli ihan perus silikoniset.

Complyistä on kolmea eri mallia joista valitsin hifisteille suositellun Comfortin. Sonyn tulpista käytössä ovat olleet pienimmät, joten valitsin nytkin sellaiset. Lopuksi pitää vielä valita kuulokkeeseen sopiva malli joka Sonyn tapauksessa oli 200.

Ensi puraisu

Poistin vanhat silikonitulpat ja laitoin uudet tilalle. Puristin tulpan kasaan kuin korvatulpan ja työnsin paikalleen. Ensin Complyt tuntuivat hieman epämukavilta kun kuulokkeen runko painoi läpi, mutta kun vaahtomuovi alkoi kehon lämmössä asettua muotoonsa, epämiellyttävä tunne hävisi.

Kun napit istuivat tukevasti korvassaan, oli aika pistää musiikkia. Daft Punkin Get Lucky, John Mellencampin Jackie Brown, UFO:n Vigiland, Greg Kihn Bandin Jeopardy...

Tekevät minkä lupaavat...

Ensi tunnelmat olivat bassoa... paljon bassoa... liikaa bassoa! Ajattelin, että ehkä se on ongelma vain hiljaisessa kerrostaloasunnossa, mutta myöhemmin totesin, että bassoa piisaa myös bussissa ja junassa.

Liika bassotoisto ei tietenkään ole Complyjen vika vaan Sonyn kaupallisen soundin*, samaa ongelmaa tuntuu olevan monissa muissakin kuulokkeissa. Tuhti basso myy, mutta samalla myös peittää keskialueen hienoudet alleen. Tai sitten Sonyt eivät vain sovi hyvin iPhone SE:n jatkoksi.

Ennen basso pääsi kuitenkin vuotamaan kuulokkeiden ohi, sillä ne eivät tahtoneet pysyä tukevasti paikallaan yli viittätoista sekuntia. Nyt napit pysyvät tiukasti korvissa koko bussi- tai junamatkan. Jeopardy pumppaa mehukkaasti, mutta Vigiland käy jo turhan rankasti päälle.

Suosittelen

Parilla kympillä sain kuulokkeisiini reippaasti lisää käyttömukavuutta. Nyt nappeja ei tarvitse kohennella yhtenään, vaan voi keskittyä musiikkiin. Jos tuntuu, että bassot karkaavat, niin näiden kanssa ei karkaa enää. Paketissa tuli vielä kolme paria tulppia, joten ei tarvitse pelätä hukkumista, tosin eivät vaikuta myöskään irtoavan kuulokkeista kovin helposti.

Suurin miinus on saatavuus, jos tahtoo jonkun tietyn koon ja mallin, lienee valmistajan oma verkkokauppa ainoa vaihtoehto (vai tietääkö joku paremmin?). Itse en tykkää yhtään tilata ulkomailta, koskaan ei tiedä, että yritetäänkö pakettia tuoda aamukuudelta vai iltakahdeksalta ja kuskeilla ei ole luonnollisesti puhelinta käytössä.

Nyt sain kuulokkeet jo toisella yrittämällä, ensi toimitusta oli ihan oikeasti yritetty kello 6.20 aamulla.

Jos haluaa oikein hifistellä, niin saatavilla on myös omaan korvaan räätälöityjä vaihtoehtoja, mutta itse käytän nappikuulokkeita lähinnä bussissa, junassa ja lentokoneessa, eli en joka päivä. Reissussa myös on aina suurempi riski hukata kamoja, joten järkihintaiset Complyt ovat hyvä valinta. 

Halvoiksi näitä ei voi haukkua, mutta eivät nämä älykalliitkaan ole. Ongelma kuitenkin ratkesi, joten olen tyytyväinen.
