#complaining for no good reason...

Why is it that when it comes to my actual writing class I can only write enough to barely hit all the requirements, but the moment it's a class where that actually doesn't matter I'm suddenly writing way more than even necessary.

Every time Cale uses an ancient power and then gets confused when people react in worry I laugh and want to shake him because Cale, CALE YOU NEVER EXPLAIN WHY YOU'RE VOMITING BLOOD.

And here's the thing, vomitting blood, regardles of colour is a sign of serious internal problems, and you know what signs and symptoms you should definitely watch out for afterwards?

Dizziness, especially after standing.

Rapid, shallow breathing.

Or other signs of shock.

So everyone around him makes the very valid assumption the Cale using an ancient power = severe internal bleeding and then Cale goes and usually displays some symptoms of shock (I.E shaky limbs, dizziness, weakness in limbs) and just never explains that he's actually fine. Instead, he tries to get up and keep moving unless he's already fainted.

OF COURSE THEY'RE FREAKING OUT CALE! They think you need serious medical attention and you keep refusing to see a healer or a doctor! (Yes we know you don't want them figuring out how many powers you have and that they can't do anything anyways, but your friends don't!)

Since we don't see what the others are doing every time Cale falls into a coma as a response, I imagine that they're all frantic, trying to figure out what went wrong, how injured he is and how to get him the proper medical care. And then Cale wakes up and is just confused as to why they made it such a big deal.

Like Cale, please, for at least the first few times, they probably thought you were DYING.

after watching most povs for session 3 of wild life i think there are two crucial errors nearly everyone who died to their snails made (other than just, like, panicking or not figuring things out quick enough at the start)

the first was to assume there was some way of defeating the snails and experimenting with all manner of things (a wall between them, drowning them, going to the nether etc etc) which ultimately lead to them realising the hard way that there's no way to kill the snails. the second was rapidly moving from one side of the map to the other in an attempt to run from the snails, resulting in players losing sight of their snails thus leading to them being blindsided a number of times (tango...). there were a few other reasons of course, but i think almost most deaths can be attributed to one of these two things.

if you look at the five who didn't die to their snails too, they figured out pretty quickly the best ways to stay safe. gem and joel actually managed to get a wall and cowpen built just by keeping their snails close enough to keep an eye on at all times, and they might have experimented with a few things but they were vigilant enough about it to stay safe. lizzie went mining (on her own!!!) and managed not to die (and also didn't nearly die the way grian and mumbo did). cleo and scott moved across the map a lot more than these three but iirc they didn't try to kill or hinder their snails, they just made sure they stayed away from them at all times.

i don't know who needs to hear this today but the jedi would not be body-shy

especially during the war. some would be uncomfortable, sure, or even heavily dislike being nude and/or bathing around others, but the point of that is that would be respected as a choice. there is a very large difference between preferring not to be nude around others, for cultural religious or personal reasons, versus being ashamed. nothing you can do can convince me jedi would be ashamed or embarrassed of their or others' bodies.

why. why would the jedi think nudity undignified. why would they turn their noses up at it as unseemly, rather than a choice and preference

This right here is the problem with english-speaking media. If you want to complain about riders not talking enough about issues they’ve faced then either learn THEIR language so you get a good enough understanding or shut up talking about these guys trying their best to communicate in their second, third, sometimes even fourth languages…

zosaners complain about zolu being more popular because of opla when the ao3 is now dominated by them like 😭 let us have something and it's not like it's our fault since it's still canon-aligned. Blame Oda for giving it an ok, then

someone once said there are also a chunk of zosaners who only ship this without watching the show because there is lots of fan content and they're appealing to the bl community. I've seen it too and it's not new, I've done it with other ships and I have friends who do too, where we don't watch the show but we like the ship and the fan AUs. So they shouldn't complain with canon or other ships since they clearly can thrive on their own.

like I didn't mind the ship all (just didn't ship it) but certain corners are testing me!!!! the thing is their ship is already the most popular one and has been for decades. I don't see why its necessary to tear down another side of the fandom that's gotten a lil treat (opla being so zolu centered), especially considering its canon based.

It would be one thing if the adaptation was wilding OOC and generally bad writing but oda approved edited and reviewed every single aspect of the show including highlighting zoro n luffy's relationship. and tbh its completely (if not more so) supported by the manga and anime. zoro and luffy have ALWAYS been insane about each other. let us have fun!!!!!!!!
