Still cannot believe I came down with another cold after just getting over one last week 😩🤧

My recycling bin was. on the curb. on recycling pickup day. You know. The day it has to be out. The day it is motherfucking ALLOWED TO BE FUCKING OUT AND VISIBLE.

I have sent them the trash AND recycling pickup schedules, which are DIFFERENT, btw

I have disputed the linking of this "violation" to a previous violation MONTHS AGO--their "first notice" in this case was a "Courtesy Notice" LITERALLY 5 MONTHS AGO and they've done so many inspections since then and my bin CLEARLY WASN'T OUT IN THOSE INTERVENING MONTHS so WTMFH

So I am posting like a crazy person here instead of sending the absolutely deranged email I almost sent (I did send a slightly less deranged version with the disputes, and requesting a hearing)

I would like to see data on that. but anyway #the next part of the legislation:#Homes owned >6 shall be charged X% Housing Market Shrinkage Fee UNLESS they are rented for affordable (15% or less than renter net income)#housing and are actively occupied by said renters. Rented out and charging more than 15% of renter's net? still gotta pay up.#EMPTY housing >6 shall be subject to an additional Y% Housing Market Shrinkage Fee (tax? should I call it a tax?) which increases with ever #month that the housing goes unoccupied. no one living in it? sell it rent it or pay the fuck up. and still pay the fuck up if you rent it #for way too goddamn much money #but like. less. we only REALLY hate you if you sit on empty houses that you don't even let anyone use #ok that's individuals. now onto BUSINESSES #ok so immediately it gets a little complicated cuz like presumably there's rental management businesses that don't own the rental propertie #that they manage BUT there are also companies that just outright own a shitfuckton of housing and THIS is the truly egregious monstrous sid

There's a new contender for my least favourite returned item to handle at work.

Not the top spot for the least favourite, that one still goes for the overalls with the fleece lining that always seem to come back covered by pet hair and dandruff *on the inside* which take me approximately 20minutes each to brush clean.

No. But there's a new contender for the second place.

So there's this simple, black casual dress, that on its own isn't too bad. Not like some other fashion line items that seem to be designed to be as hard to fold neatly into a bag, this dress isn't even near the hardest to handle.

However, two times out if three, whenever this particular dress gets returned, it comes back with its neckline covered in makeup. That I then have to spend forever trying to wipe and brush clean. (Sometimes not even managing that and being forced to send the item to second-rate box to go through that whole process.)

Can you maybe, please, when trying on clothing items (be it at a store or at home for web orders), think of the poor warehouse workers who have to clean up after you? Do me a solid and keep the items clean, will you?

#shut up paper #Paper does a job #yes even in the stores #because once the season is over the unsold items will get returned from the stores and back to the company that originally sold them there #which means they get to be the warehouse workers' problem once more #at least in the company that pays my salary we handle clean and sell/send on items that get returned unsold from old seasons #depending on item they stay in the circulation sometimes for years untill someone buys them at a discount if not before #they don't get thrown into the recycling bin unless they're *actually* broken or otherwise beyond salvaging #or old enough their season number no longer exists but that takes several years #and at that point there usually has already been a sale with steep enough discount they've already found a home

My throaaaat hurts

#would have called out of work this morning but time off blackout because busy season #i can still miss work but i cant use vacation to cover it #and its a rent paycheck #and rent is. 100% of my rent paycheck. so. cant miss any pay on rent paychecks. not an option #i thought i had a fever all day because i would alternate between chills and getting super hot #like need to take off my shirt hot #but i couldnt find my thermometer #swung by the grocery store to buy a new one on the way home and it tells me im 94 degrees #sure jan #hopefully the act of having purchased a new one will make the old one turn up #i also tried to pick up caraway seed and lemon zest for caraway seed cake but the grocery store doesnt sell dried lemon peel anymore?#like at all?#and the only caraway seed option is gourmet organic and $10 for a 2oz jar #i would use a third of the jar for one batch #for reference the old brand that i bought i would use the whole jar and it cost $1.25 #so uuuuuuh yeah im not paying that #especially since i looked it up and i can order mccormick caraway seed by the pound for less per oz than i was paying before lmfao #they also made it so that fennel seed is only available in the gourmet organic brand -- $8 for a 1.7oz jar #im not paying that either thats highway robbery prices #i might as well just buy the fancy italian sausage #which is why i started buying fennel seed in the first place. to add to ground pork to make it taste like italian sausage #i bet i can find a better option for that from a known company online too #i dont know what they were thinking doing away with the other brand #it was a local company and it offered lots of options at reasonable prices #now theyve got like. the most basic assortment #oregano. basil. cumin. cinnamon. thyme. rosemary. garlic powder #just as i was starting to experiment with more interesting spices too

Keep getting pissed off & frustrated and now my stomach hurts

#im at the library btw (important detail)#just like looking for internships for some reason makes me really anxious and makes my stomach hurt and i get scared to click on any webpage #and looking at postgrad requirements stuff also freaks me out and hurts and i need to put together some questions to ask my neighbor but im #afriad to ask smth stupid etc etc and just owie #i emailed my one prof to see if we have any homework or whatever and that was one thing i did #checked my assignments but havent started any yet though now i know what and when #then i turned to online shopping and adding to my wishlist like im supposed to but thats whats really make the stomachache happen bc i cant #figure out which product i want between 2 companies and also we live in an advertising hellworld that wants to manipulate me and i hate it #even the thought of me buying a comic on the way home doesnt help atm #bc then ill be going home after being out for 2 hours w my only achievement being writing down like 3 questions for my neighbor (NOT all i #want to say) emailing my prof and working myself into an anxiety spiral about christmas gifts #okay im getting emotional now and am on the verge of tears i should go home bc obviously this isnt working #and my mom is at home and she always makes me feel better #i fucking hate our hellscape and i hate how evil and manipulative amazon.com is. just be a normal service that sells normal fucking goods #jesus fucking christ. its like the whole world will end if i dont get advertised to every single second of every fucking day

My aunt and uncle and cousin are visiting this weekend and I love my Aunt and Uncle but my cousin and her boyfriend are constantly asking to smoke my bud. I asked them if they brought their own and they said no, and I told them then get your own bud and we can smoke and share.
