i wanted to make a (slightly more) proper post to explain why rooster teeth decided to just leave their main twitter up as an archive, but the thing is: i don't know why they did that. almost nobody does!

they just edited their bio and dipped!

funhaus and dogbark's account bios updated to say the same thing, that they're still posting on instagram and tiktok, and the stinky dragon account made a proper tweet about it with the additional social media platforms they're on, but all of these accounts offer no information as to why they're now inactive on twitter. a guess i have is that it's a combination of their engagement numbers just naturally declining over time and the mountain of issues twitter has as a platform, especially after musk took over. however, these are just my personal speculations because rt seems so allergic to sharing anything with their audience lol

going into my final week of classes and we always have one last week after the final paper (so the professors have time for grading) where typically the only work we have is one last discussion post.

usually, this post is pretty simple and light (to go easy on us after the final). my ethics class is like “summarize your conclusions from your final paper! :)” and my communications class is like “tell the class about your career goals! :)”

meanwhile, statistics…

#which is very easy - it’s just FUNNY #you thought we were done learning new material after the final? THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!#READ THE PYTHON SCRIPT AND WEEP #no but stats was my favorite class this semester…#i still wanna take stats II but i haven’t decided for sure yet #it’s a lot of work but it’s very straightforward work #as opposed to my environmental and communications courses that involve a lot of opinion #which is fine but can be really tiring when the thing they want my opinion about is stupid or repetitive #like. FOUR courses made me take that one environmental footprint calculator quiz…#FOUR SEPARATE COURSES #and it’s like. i’m not saying it’s not important - but i GET IT!!!!!!!#at this point it’s just a waste of my time - teach me something i don’t already know!#i definitely should have taken a different online program but that’s beside the point #it’ll even out once i get my master’s #and i’m ultimately happy to have had the ‘broader’ education of environmental science (with a communication minor)#bc i think that’ll serve me better in management later in my career #even if it makes early career stuff more difficult

finally finished all of one character's entire quests/optional dialogue/questions/etc.... 100,000 words... .... aughhh

#Given some of it IS lines of code and stuff but like.. minus all that it's still probably at least 85 - 95k words hhhhhh #AND I have to do this for another 3 characters. Then a few partial quests for 3 others. THEN the other random misc stuff in the game #(like there are public areas in the city like a park and a forest that you can go and do a few things at. and chat with a few random #townsfolk that aren't actually full characters or anything. And there's a community board where you can #browse some of the random job advertisments or silly things that happen to be posted around #and also pick up a few odd jobs of your own to help earn coin to buy gifts for the npcs. etc. etc.)#Originally I was thinking like 'ah I'll make a short little game just to try it out! :3 It'll take maybe a few months!''#haha........................hee hee........................................hoho #Also evil that it would have been done already if I didn't totally drop itand stop working on it for like 5 years randomly #i could have made 5 years of steady slow progress gradually. instead of like 'one initial idea dump + about a month of art and writing'#...... 5 year break..... 'sudden mad dash to try to get probably 400.000 words written in a year or less' lol #I just really want to be done and have something out there already so it can lead to doing other things in my world..!!!!!! Just went to uni and instead of doing anything spent 3h agonising about ending my relationship. I'm sure this is good and normal

#it. idk I just don't really wanna be single rn and deal with all of that #and also I have silvester and first new year weekend plans hinging on this person and I kinda really don't want to find something else to do #but by god #I mean maybe my expectations are just too high as to how much I see my partner (doubtful)#or her lifestyle (has a shitton of things going on) and personality (not super communicative) are just not suited for polyamory #(and I have the same problems but I'm not the person who has two partners)#(and the fact that I can't really get a read whatsoever on her other partner is not helpful. like we vibe on occasion but mostly #I just do not get him at all)#but idk. like. we see each other like twice a week and those are like. during dance and for a pubquiz #and maybe going to the library #and it's just like to my expectations we are barely doing the bare minimum I need to have my emotional needs met #so whenever something falls through I am immediately devastated #but again I feel like 'I would like to see you outside of a social engagement with our friends at least once a week #and additionally also would like to sleep in the same bed as you at least once a week' are not high expectations whatsoever #and yet ....#when did we last have sex? Oh idk in october? maybe? The Color Purple being the one musical movie within the past few years to actually be successful at the box office is SO well deserved. It’s such an incredible movie that I really really really want to watch again!
