Yall. I thought tumblr was a community centered app where we bond over fav characters while we collectively care for one another as we engage w content. And also maybe rant ab homophobes every once in a while bc we’re all queer in some way lol. Isn’t that like an experience inherent to having this app??

So WHY are there weird ppl on here being racist, or apologizing for Zionists, or saying that we shouldn’t have trigger warnings??? OR WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY FEED. Is this happening to anyone else?? Like recently I’ve been seeing a rise in hate on this app in the Abbott elementary and marvel fandoms. Or have yalls feed been fine?? PLS LEMME KNOW

when he was younger and messing around with his magic, merlin created a spell to be able to shift his form. hunith came inside and was Very confused where her son went and why there was a random girl in her home. she put two and two together when the little girl calls her mom. the spell is somewhat banned as it would raise too many questions why hunith now has a daughter instead of a son one day and then a son and no daughter the next. years later, merlin is excited to finally cast the spell once more after arthur repeals the ban

The coolest thing about art is that you can just make it. Anyone can make it. All it has to do is be something you feel. Good, bad, Doesn’t matter. Only you can make the thing you’re making. Just do it.

okay but does anyone listen to bronski beat and does anyone GET IT. they released an album, completely unashamedly gay, in the 80s, during the AIDS crisis, during a time of insanely rampant homophobia and over the top conservatism. they released an album with the age of consent for homosexual activity in every european country listed on the sleeve and the phone number for a legal advice hotline for queer people etched into the grooves of the vinyl. they released an album with the opening track dedicated to a hate crime victim, featuring vocals from an openly gay choir. they released an album with songs about homophobic violence, the dangers of following the bible too closely, about leaving behind everything you know and starting over, about homophobic family and homophobic bullying. they wrote about being gay and being proud of it and knowing that there is nothing wrong with who you are. in the face of all the hatred going on in the 80s they released an album that was in-your-face gay and fuck-you queer, and i love them for it.

Ouuugh fuck yes the opthalmologist said I appear to be a strong candidate for LASIK :3c gotta coordinate with my other doctors for their opinions, but just this year my eyes finally stabilized enough to even HAVE these conversations in the first place!!! It probably wouldn't be something I pull the trigger on for at least another year, but very exciting to not be eliminated as a candidate bc of my autoimmune stuff :') it was also super cool as always to learn how providers explain some of these conditions + procedures on a patient level then a clinical level. Eager to talk shop with the opthalmology SME on my team :3
