Day 28 on September 28 #commonthreadedstitcher: Favorite Stitchy Gift. My sister and best #stitchyfriend, @tzupergrl, made me my two favorite #stitchygifts. The first one was made 2011 when I had just gotten into #DrWho. The second is my absolute favorite. When I was first diagnosed with #CeliacDisease and was having a lot of bathroom problems, we would say “making magic” instead of “pooping”. Hahah! Friends and Family Sampler stitched by stitchesbyshelby. 2020 SAL designed by Fox and Rabbit Designs for Linen and Threads.

Lovingly called “the blue sampler” by my family and friends, my version of the Linen and Threads Mystery Sampler 2020 is finished! I am so in love with it. The initials are my husband, parents, sisters, grandparents, great grandparents, and my blood-related aunt and uncle. Single initials are of my cats and my family dog who passed away a few years ago. While stitching the initials, I had a few questions about my great grandparents and my mom and I had a nice time reminiscing about them. I think this may have inspired a family history project for us! Thank you so much to Brendon for this beautiful design. #commonthreadedstitcher day 13: most meaningful stitch. My most meaningful stitch is the Linen and Threads Family and Friends SAL from 2020 by @foxandrabbitdesigns. I stitched this piece over the course of 2020 and I couldn’t be in more in love with it! There are 4 generations of initials on this piece (technically 5 because my cats are my children). This piece is so meaningful to me and I hope it stays in our family for many years. Fabric: 18 ct Mystic Aida by PTP.
