#we are #we are the series #we are series #tanfang #aou thanaboon #aouboom #boom tharatorn #my edits #weareedit #AOUBOOM MAIN LEADS WHEN???#i do appreciate them and the way they’ve been portraying tanfang #i know tan was a bit over the top 99% of the time #but every scene and touch felt so genuine #and i’m not gonna credit that to new #bc he wasn’t able to direct ppw in a way that didn’t make their kisses look a bit awkward #i know scenes have to look aesthetically pleasing in some way #and that’s why we keep having to deal the ‘no one would kiss with this much space for jesus between each other’ complaints #but like look at aouboom here #this is mostly them and their acting choices in my humble opinion #and don’t get me started on the pecks #ppw BARELY touched the other one’s lips when they had to do a peck kiss #like cmon the difference between ppw and aouboom pecks is insane #i’m sorry for picking on ppw but i’m a bit sad that some of their romantic scenes were a bit lackluster #especially that very last kiss which tbh i rather wouldn’t have seen bc it felt a bit awkward to me #but that may be just me #i need new to get a bit more frisky with kiss scenes when it comes to his directing #bc i feel like friskier kiss scenes only happen when the actors mostly do their thing after finding out what the director wants #(maybe i’m completely wrong about new but tkdkfdkddkdk)#and don’t get me wrong idgaf if there are kisses or not but if there’s a kiss scene you should commit instead of holding yourself back idk #and ppw definitely need a better director to help them achieve that bc jojo was definitely better at directing them

Really quick before I go to bed because this boils in my more whenever anyone asks me about where whatever fic has gone/what happened to updates:

A lot of people have been asking for my confessions series to come back and I just have to say that part of the reason I stopped posting it regularly/have no real motivation to publish it anymore is because there were fairly low interactions for each chapter. I didn’t really feel bad about putting it on indefinite hiatus because it didn’t seem like it would matter to most people?

I’d been so excited to share this story and between the notifs ratios/low feedback/chapters being flagged within hours, it killed my love for the series and when I realized what was happening, I stopped posting the chapters so I could fall in love with my own work again. And it worked! I adore that AU and writing it at my own pace and talking about it with my friends, etc.

But it’s crazy to me that so many people ask when it’s coming back/why it’s stopped while continuing to like,, Not interact with the parts of the series that are posted?

I’m not saying I need anyone to flood me with notifications to get me to post because I make it my policy now to post on my own terms in order to protect my own love of writing/what I write, but basically.. don’t be confused when a series you supposedly love and miss stops updating when you don’t show that you care while someone is putting in time and effort into putting out content for you. Don’t wait for writers get discouraged or burnt out before you show your support.

#idk if this makes sense bc it’s almost 2am but its just such an odd phenomenon I’ve been experiencing #and I’ve seen other writers going through it too and idk I don’t think a lot of people understand that writing itself itls a hobby #but choosing to share it and put yourself on a schedule is a completely DIFFERENT commitment and it’s easy to stop that part #so idk.. just think about appreciating your favorite creators for that free commitment to sharing their work #okay bye gn pls don’t be mean to me about this #motts speaks.

#LARP is just pedagogy for nerds #Queenie actually says something on this blog #Oleander's specialty was beast magic and she was constantly overextending herself #and constantly bickering with the Old Soul #also her bonded beast was a shrike :) normal :)#she wound up falling to being corrupted by the Underworld and uh. caused the apocalypse? oops #sometimes when you make yourself into a weapon and systematically destroy yourself someone else finds you USEFUL #Julia was just in a state of nonstop panic the whole time #was hypersensitive to anything Alice had told others that she hadn't told Julia #blamed herself for everything that was happening even when that made no sense #Picker I rolled up in like five minutes at a wedding????#a bunch of us in the bridal/groom's party decided to play D&D inexplicably #the plot of the one-shot was that we were all warforged and were tasked by our shared mechanic with rescuing his bride #anyway their main claim to fame was finding a way to completely circumvent a task by using lateral thinking and gymnastics #also being the only one who was mildly effective in the combat puzzle? baffling #also not a proper character but shout out to the violent old man who committed so many atrocities in The Quiet Year #truly a character of all time. Atrocities Georg.

You know I was so caught up in the idea of Lif wearing stockings in the way that I draw Alfonse (gave him stockings) and so caught up in the idea of Alfonse's stockings being red when he has blue eyes and Lif having blue stockings when his eyes are red now, that. I just completely overlooked how fucking stupid and illogical and impractical it would be to wear socks over A Full Suit of Armor
