obviously the dumbell characters cant be in proper kengan matches because they're not built for the brutality (even if they would win because they're bigger generic freaks than even the kengan fighters) but an actual fight matchup is pretty fun to think about and could even be a fun one off concept like the ryu vs ohma chapter
if machio were in a kengan match the way it would play out is him dominating his opponent and everyone initially thinking that he's a martial arts master using his physique to its true perfect advantage that would put even julius reinhold to shame but then the dramatic battle manga twist which would have all the masters standing up in shock would be that hes not actually using martial arts or any form of actual fighting: he's just going through various fighting adjacent workout sequences that equate to damage because hes so fucking huge and his trump card would be him grabbing his opponent by various muscles throughout the match and going "wowie you've really worked on your deltoids, pectorals and biceps, i can tell you're putting in the work! however your latissimus dorsi needs to be developed more if you wanna use your full strength for your blows! lets... MUSCLE!" and the shockwave of his flex is what ends up knocking out his opponent
conversely if hibiki were in a kengan/star match the way it would play out is her playing chicken for 90% of the match because shes an idiot and was easily talked into a blood match for the prize money without realizing the brutality at play and obviously she doesnt want to get punched it would ruin her face! but then maybe her opponent insults her weight or she hears the spectators saying she sucks at this and that pisses her off so much she does a single perfect straight punch that would leave a hole through the opponents chest and knocks them through the building. in kengan matches this would have her going further because no sponsor would let her quit (the prize money for food would rule) but in star it would garner no money whatsoever and the star strikers would just drop her off at the school gate they kidnapped her at and go "here's your winnings anyways we know we kidnapped you and all but also never contact us again your match sucked" and leave her in the dust but very briefly through the car window as it speeds away hibiki would see hina do a "call me" 🤙 hand sign with a perverted battle hungry smile

Cartoon Network (2013?)
It's hero time! Ben Tennyson and Beast Boy (of Teen Titans fame) morph-off in an epic battle of pure epicness!
I conceived and produced this spot and was lucky enough to work with a number of talented people. The animation was done by Hook-Up an Argentinean based animation house. The music was composed by Noh Ghani of Turntable Music in Singapore. Catherine Ho oversaw the art direction and the spot featured the voices of: Tara Strong (as Ben and Raven), Greg Eagles (as Grim), Fred Tatasciore (as Ripjaws), Meagan Smith (as Gwen Tennyson), Richard McGonagle (as Four Arms) and Greg Cipes (as Beast Boy).
This spot aired on Cartoon Network across the Australasia region.

How to Choose the Right Gym Equipment for Your Home Gym
Tumblr media
Creating a home gym is a powerful step towards achieving your fitness goals, offering convenience and flexibility in your workout routine. However, choosing the right gym equipment for your home can be a daunting task, especially with the multitude of options available in the market. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness, or simply stay active, making informed decisions about the equipment you invest in is crucial.
In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you through the essential steps to help you select the perfect home gym equipment tailored to your needs, space, and budget. From assessing your fitness goals to evaluating available space and considering factors like budget, versatility, and safety, we'll cover it all. By the end of this blog, you'll be well-equipped to create a personalized and effective home gym that motivates you to stay on track with your fitness journey. So, let's dive in and transform your home into the ultimate workout haven!
Tips to Choose the Right Gym Equipment for Your Home Gym
Choosing the right gym equipment for your home gym is essential to create an effective and enjoyable workout space. Here are some steps to help you make informed decisions when selecting home gym equipment:
Assess Your Fitness Goals:
Determine your fitness objectives, whether it's strength training, cardiovascular fitness, weight loss, or a combination of these.
Consider your workout preferences and the types of exercises you enjoy.
Allocate a Budget:
Set a budget for your home gym equipment. This will help you narrow down your options and prevent overspending.
Evaluate Available Space:
Measure the available space in your home gym area to ensure that the equipment you choose fits comfortably.
Prioritize Essential Equipment:
Start with the basics, such as a workout bench, dumbbells or kettlebells, and resistance bands. These versatile items can support a wide range of exercises.
Consider Cardiovascular Equipment:
Depending on your goals and preferences, consider adding cardiovascular equipment like a treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical machine, or rowing machine.
Compact options like foldable treadmills or under-desk ellipticals are suitable for smaller spaces.
Explore Multi-Functional Equipment:
Look for multi-functional equipment, such as power racks or home gyms, which can accommodate various exercises in one unit.
Research Brands and Suppliers:
Research reputable gym equipment brands and suppliers. Read reviews and seek recommendations from fitness enthusiasts.
Check for warranties and customer support to ensure you have options if issues arise.
Test the Equipment (if possible):
If you have the opportunity, test the equipment in person at a store or gym to ensure it meets your comfort and usability criteria.
Consider Used Gym Equipment:
If you're on a tight budget, consider buying used gym equipment. Make sure it's in good condition and from a reliable source.
Ensure Safety Features:
Safety should be a priority. Ensure that the equipment you choose has safety features like safety locks, sturdy construction, and non-slip surfaces.
Plan for Accessories and Maintenance:
Don't forget to budget for accessories such as mats, mirrors, and storage solutions.
Plan for regular maintenance to keep your equipment in good working order.
Create a Well-Balanced Setup:
Aim for a well-balanced home gym setup that allows you to target different muscle groups and engage in various types of workouts.
Seek Expert Advice:
If you're unsure about your choices, consider consulting with a fitness trainer or expert who can provide personalized recommendations based on your goals and needs.
Start Small and Expand Over Time:
You don't need to buy all your equipment at once. Start with the essentials and gradually expand your home gym as your fitness journey progresses.
Personalize Your Space:
Make your home gym motivating and comfortable by adding personal touches like inspirational posters, music, and good lighting.
Remember that the right gym equipment for your home gym should align with your fitness goals, space, and budget. By carefully considering these factors and doing your research, you can create a home gym that helps you achieve your fitness objectives effectively and sustainably.

To think is to undermine—to undermine oneself. Action involves fewer risks, for it fills the interval between things and ourselves, whereas reflection dangerously widens it. So long as I give myself up to physical exercise, manual labor, I am happy, fulfilled; once I stop, I am seized by dizziness, and I can think of nothing but giving up for good.
