Panel 2: [Gaster leads Subject Subject 2 into a room. Subject 2 looks tentative, and his SOUL is blue from Gaster’s magic grip.
Panel 3: [As soon as Subject 2 sees inside the room, he immediately hides behind Gaster, gripping Gaster’s lab coat. Gaster flinches at the contact.]
Gaster’s Notes: I’M KEEPING A TIGHT HOLD ON BOTH THEIR SOULS.
Panel 4: [Gaster uses magic to move Subject 2 away from him. Subject 2 looks up at Gaster almost apologetically.]
Gaster: Don’t touch me.
Subject 2: DUN TASH ME.
Gaster’s Notes: SO IF THEY FALL TO FIGHTING IT SHOULD BE A MATTER OF MOMENTS TO SEPARATE THEM BEFORE EITHER IS HURT. IT’S BEST TO BE PREPARED.
Panel 5: [It is a seemingly normal office space. There is a bookshelf, a table, and a desk. Shuffling can be heard coming from behind the desk.]
Panel 6: [Suddenly, Subject 1 peers from behind the desk, regarding Gaster and Subject 2]
Gaster’s Notes: I’M NOT ENTIRELY SURE WHAT TO EXPECT…
Panel 7: [Subject 2 walks into the room on his own, while Gaster stays behind at the doorway. His physical hands are held apart, keeping his blue magic grip on both Subject 1 and Subject 2, while he has a pair of magical hands writing down notes on the interaction.]

Panel 13: [Subject 2 and Subject 1 regard each other from across the room. Subject 2 slowly begins approaching as Subject 1 stands and moves a bit away from the desk. Subject 2’s eyes glow orange while Subject 1’s glow blue.]
Gaster’s Notes: SUBJECT 1 SOON BEGAN GLOWING LIGHT BLUE IN RESPONSE.
Gaster’s Notes: THIS SEEMS TO HAVE CALMED THEM A LITTLE.
Panel 14: [Their eyes have stopped glowing, and they’re almost within arm’s reach of each other.]
Gaster’s Notes: THEY ARE APPROACHING EACH OTHER…
Panel 15: [Slowly, they raise their hands towards each other…]
Panel 16: [Subject 2 shoves his hand into Subject 1’s left eyesocket. Subject 1 seems at a loss.]
Panel 17: [Gaster watches them cautiously, though a little more relaxed now. He still has a pair of magic hands transcribing notes. Subject 2’s hand is still in Subject 1’s eyesocket, and Subject 2 curiously touches his own much-smaller eyesocket in comparison. Subject 1 seems chill with the exploration.]
Gaster’s Notes: THEY ARE CURIOUS ABOUT THE OTHER AS ONE MAY EXPECT.
Panel 18: [Gaster doesn’t dispel the blue SOUL magic, but he does seem confident enough in their docility that he place one physical hand in his pocket. Subject 2 has removed his hand, only for Subject 1 to grip Subject 2’s wide lower jaw.]
Panel 19: [A montage of the two exploring each other’s bodies. Subject 2 picks Subject 1 up, noting how short Subject 1 is in comparison. Subject 1 sticks his arm through Subject 2’s spacious jaw, wiggling his fingers from the other side. Subject 2 investigates Subject 1’s round cheeks and permanently-closed smile. Subject 1 covers Subject 2’s eyesocket with his little baby hands. Subject 2 stretches Subject 1’s arms outward a bit.]

[Subject 2 presses a hand to Subject 1’s mouth to try and comfort him.]

Gaster’s Notes: SO THE OTHER BUILDS OFF OF WHAT THEY’VE LEARNED TO NEW HEIGHTS.
Panel 24: [Gaster is now sitting comfortably, and has dismissed his magic hand entirely. He writes his notes with his physical hands.Subject 1 tests his newly reattached limb, rattling it a little. Subject 2 observes.]
Gaster’s Notes: A MUTUAL SCAFFOLDING.
Panel 25: [Gaster watches them in bemusement as they both begin to rattle their bones playfully together.]
Gaster’s Notes: THEY ARE INDEED LITTLE SKELETONS.
Panel 26: [Subject 2 approaches Subject 1 apprehensively, reaching out.]
Panel 27: [Subject 2 hesitates and brings his arms back. Subject 1 is confused.]
Panel 28: [Subject 2 reaches for Subject 1 again, expression screwed up as if expecting a reprimand.]
Panel 29: [Subject 2 pulls Subject 1 in closely for a hug.]

Finally! Just as promised in the last one, haha. (details/single-image ver)
Papyrus learned about limb reattaching back with Gaster if you recall, which is also where he got his first attempt at a hug rebuffed. Sans rattled his bones at Gaster before to try and scare him away, but I figure it’s a context-sensitive behavior so it’s a friendly thing here. You can’t see it but Gaster is actually smiling a little in spite of himself while they’re doing that.
This is also the first and only time the two of them glow green while they’re down there, poor things. Gaster did indeed exploit their bond later.

Okay. Fellas. Real talk. I've seen some of you do it and I thank you profusely for doing so but can yall PLEASE credit the original artist of that piece yall kinda made into an a dtiys/art meme? That's not official art. I am point blank refusing to engage with any of these pieces that I see not doing such. (Even when it pains me to keep scrolling, because some of them are really good!! And I want them here!!! But I do have some rules for myself I try to stand firm by with this blog.)
Like you can literally see them say right there that it's fine IF YOU CREDIT. I'm fucking begging you.
I'm not mad at anyone who didn't know but I've seen SO MANY versions at this point, and I think I've seen maybe 3 or 4 of them RECENTLY include the credit. (And one with improper credit, I think?) Please. Please just. Tack it on.

My MLP Summer Swap gift for @dragonlunar who prompted Spitdash butchxbutch competitions! My excitement took over and it ended up way bigger than initially planned.
Ultimately it ended up as a Spitdash MMA fight with some tenderness sprinkled in between. My main inspiration was pretty gruesome MMA photos and seeing some MMA woman kiss her opponent during press stand-off. Which I loved and wanted to portray!
Some notes: - I very clearly have no idea about MMA. This probably shows in various ways, so don't take this a proper representation of the sport. - Yes I know it's weird how they have separate locker rooms but share them in the end. Please ignore it for the sake of plot and kissing! - Making a comic in a short span of time makes you learn a lot, especially regulating your tendency for perfection. Can recommend for learning purposes, cannot recommend in terms of stress level management! - I'd like to formally apologize to Fluttershy lovers. I simply could not figure out a way to include her in the final shot without disliking the composition and how it all comes together. - I still hate drawing AJs hat and it's definitely something I need to practice more.

The first picture is a sketched comic panel of the redesigned version of Danny Phantom I made for my fic/au. He has shoulder length hair, long/droopy elf ears, and Lichtenberg scars covering what is visible of his left side, encroaching towards his eye. He wears a loose white shirt that hangs around his shoulders, as well as a mesh undershirt. Panel one has Danny slapping a fist into his open palm, LOOK of realization on his face saying
“Oh! I get it now!”
Panel two shows Danny pointing to a bewildered Tim Drake.
“You're Red Hoad and cause Red Hood's a Bat, and Bruce Wayne is Sleeping with Batman that's how you got me the Wayne Scholarship!”
Panel three shows both boys, Danny looking confused at Tim who he his face, his hands, murmuring things about Bruce, not being Red Hood, and how no. That’s not even close.
The Second picture shows Danny’s second epiphany with him remarking,
“Wait YOU’RE sleeping with Red Robin!?!” To which Timothy Drake-Wayne, aka CEO of Wayne Industries, aka Red Robin replies with a resounding
“NO.”

The uppercase/lowercase/font mention in the beginning is related to an idea me and Seagoon were batting around about skeletons having a sort of magical synesthesia that lets them “see” the font people speak in. “Without much attention to detail” means Sans drops letters and sometimes punctuation. Gaster does indeed speak in caps if entry seventeen in the game is any indication! I subtitle his speech in propercase though to make it a midpoint between the brothers, but the wingdings behind it are always in caps.
Gaster hasn’t seriously hurt either of them yet at this point. They have no idea what’s coming.
I couldn’t really think of a way to subtitle wingdings when they’re written on paper without it looking confusing, so the two bits read: “1 - LOWERCASE COMIC SANS 2 - UPPERCASE PAPYRUS” and “A SKELETON HAS MANY BONES. WRITE THE NAME OF AT LEAST FIVE BONES.”

Body Swap - How Do I Talk Like That? Part Four

Summarized ID: Mob talks to Reigen about his fear of not being able to socialize properly, that he isn't making connections or can't make the first move. He wonders what it would be like to make the first move, and pictures Tsubomi. Reigen puts a hand on his shoulder and listens.
FULL ID UNDER CUT:
(This is a body swap, so I'll be referring to the characters as who they actually are but keep in mind that Reigen is in Mob's body and vice versa.)
Mob looks down, a dull yet sad expression on his face. He says, "It's not that. I've just been thinking. Even though I'm better at it now, I think, I still have trouble talking to others. I feel like everyone else knows what to say, or at the least can make themselves understood."
A grayscale panel shows a flashback to when Mob gave his speech to become student council president, he is on stage, silent, frozen. Mob continues speaking, "but even when I have a script, I freeze up."
Reigen is looking at Mob with furrowed brows and his lips set into a thin line. Mob continues, "Master, I know you said I don't need to be like other people, but..."
A shot of Mob and Reigen sitting on the curb. Dimple floats next to Mob. "I'm afraid if I can't 'get it' now," Mob looks downwards again with a worried expression. "That I won't be able to socialize properly when I'm older."
Dimple grins. "Come on, you don't need to worry about that stuff yet! You've got plenty of friends don't you?" He flexes his arms, drawn behind him are radial rays of light. "What about Tome? And the Body Improvement Club!"
Mob smiles slightly. "It's true. I do have a lot of friend, and I'm very grateful that I'm surrounded by such good people." His smile drops. "But sometimes, I feel like..."
Shown are a series of grayscale flashbacks all in one long panel. The first scene is of Tome, talking excitedly while holding Mob's hands in hers. He looks slightly taken aback, but is listening. They're sitting at a desk. The next is Mob sitting next to Emi on a grassy hill, holding her writing. The final one is Mob, flexing, while one of his Body Improvement Club friends feels his muscle excitedly. Mob is smiling shakily, blushing slightly, and sweating. He says, "I'm not connecting with them properly. Whenever we talk, I always let them take the lead, I became complacent. It felt easier that way."
Another grayscale flashback, showing Mob at his desk in school, looking over and watching two of his classmates talk happily. One of them is a girl with big curly hair, sitting at her desk, and another is a boy with short spiky hair who's leaning on her desk and talking to her. Mob says, "And everyone that I know now, I only know them because they spoke to me first. I've never gone up to someone and became their friend because of my own efforts."
This page shows a glittery thought bubble, picturing Tsubomi. Tsubomi is smiling widely with cute, big, shiny eyes. She's turning around to face the viewer, her hair and skirt. flowing out from the motion. She has her arms tucked behind her back. She's blushing, and is shaded with soft pencil scratches. The background is gray and pink with sparkles and big glowing circles. She's illuminated in white. She has a cowlick shaped into a heart. Mob looks up at his thought bubble, slightly blushing, and says, "If I were to try and make the first move, I wonder..."
Reigen claps a hand on Mob's shoulder. "Mob. Listen," He says.
