There's that feeling again.

Your heart rate picking up, muscles tensing, adrenaline urging you to find somewhere to run, a quiet corner to lurk until those eyes you feel on the back of your neck have turned away...

You're surrounded by people, but even the crowd isn't enough to hide you.

For so many years, you hadn't been noticed at all. An unsaved seat, a forgotten name, a dull, drooping wallflower with nowhere to root. Ignored and undesired, nothing more than a piece of furniture in everyone else's lives.

You had long come to accept that it's just how things are, even here.

And, so, the feeling of being watched is wholly unfamiliar.

You slip out of the midday crowd and into a quiet corridor. Your worst fear, really, is that whoever's keeping their eye on you is picking you apart at the seams, analyzing your every flaw...

As if being quiet didn't make you enough of a target...

"Ah, there you are! I thought I lost you,"

You nearly jump. For a moment, you're tempted to look around the vacant corridor for someone hiding in the shadows, because, surely, that voice isn't addressing you.

The boy at the other end of the hall tilts his head. "Ah, do not be frightened! I was only worried you had been swallowed by the crowd,"

You blink.

"...Me?"

"Oui," he responds, putting his hands on his hips. "You are such a tiny thing, I could not let any harm befall you under my watch."

There's something rather unsettling about his gaze. Familiar, even.

"Tiny?" you scoff at the description. "...Who are you, anyway?"

His smile is just as uneasy. Too eager, you think. "Je suis désolée, how rude, I have not introduced myself yet. Where are my manners?" he scolds himself, taking a step forward.

"Rook Hunt."

No, not familiar at all. You've never seen this man in your life, even if there's something about his gaze that strikes a chord with you.

You give your name in return, to which he hums.

"You are quite the interesting creature, you know."

Creature? You give him a sour look, and he chuckles.

"I mean it in the loveliest way. Like a flower which takes a century to bloom, or a comet one might see but once in their lifetime,"

He speaks enthusiastically, and thus fast, leaving you dizzy with metaphors and imagery.

"...Is that a compliment?"

A small smile graces his lips, and he leans forward. "Would you like it to be?"

Full of surprises. You instinctively lean back, further away from those piercing eyes.

He hums again, eyes shining with amusement. "Ah, ah, have I embarrassed you? My apologies,"

"I'm fine," you lie, and leave it at that. You can't seem to come up with a good excuse, and your face feels warm.

Rook tuts, circling around you like a predator surveying its prey.

"...There is no shame in being flattered, chérie. Though I would gladly embarrass you all day just to see that lovely look on your face again,"

You watch him carefully, though avoid eye contact as he stops, eventually, standing in front of you again with a little smile.

"It is a shame you hide yourself, even now. Your beauty should be appreciated," he says. "...Though, I admit, I find the idea of keeping it all to myself rather tempting."

He's going to give you a heart attack, you think. You can feel the embarrassment swelling in your chest, making your heart beat a little faster and averting your gaze to the ground.

He chuckles. "You're a shy little thing, aren't you?"

"I..." you cough awkwardly, eyes fixed on the floor tiles. "...Don't get complimented often."

Rook places a hand over his heart, as if offended by the very thought. "Non? What a cruel world we live in, where such beauty goes unnoticed! The very notion wounds me!"

"Well, then..." he says, getting down on one knee and taking your hand in his, kissing each of your knuckles.

"...Let me make up for it, chérie."

Initiation: Yuu finds themselves in a starlit realm, surrounded by a swirling galaxy of constellations and ethereal mist. The night sky above is filled with vibrant auroras. They closes their eyes and raise their arms, drawing in the cosmic energy around themselves and focusing on their connection to the Celestial and dream realms.

Activation: As Yuu channels their energy, constellations and Astral symbols begin to grow brightly, forming intricate patterns around them. The mist transforms into a swirling vortex of stardust and shimmering light, encircling them in a dazzling display.

Transformation: The stardust and celestial energy coalesce around Yuu, creating a radiant cocoon of light. Their Charmix outfit gradually evolves into a more elaborate and majestic Enchantix form. Their dress becomes more intricate, with layers of flowing, translucent fabric that shift colors like the northern lights. The design incorporates more elaborate star and constellation patterns that shimmer and sparkle with intense light.

Wings: Their wings transform into larger and more ornate versions, resembling intricate celestial feathers. They have a deeper gradient from soft blue to shimmering silver, with sparkling constellations and cosmic patterns that move across them. The wings emit a gentle, radiant glow, and they have an almost ethereal quality, with star-like sparkles that leave trails of light as they move.

Completion: Yuu completes their transformation with a graceful, elegant pose. The stardust settles into a glowing aura around them, amplifying their celestial presence. Their wings extend fully, creating a majestic and radiant display.

Appearance:

Outfit: Yuu's Enchantix outfit is a more elaborate gown that flows gracefully, with layers of shimmering fabric that resemble the northern lights. The dress features intricate designs of constellations and stars, with additional celestial embellishments like silver moons and comet trails. The gown is both elegant and majestic, reflecting their enhanced powers.

Wings: Their wings are larger and more elaborate, with intricate celestial patterns and a radiant glow. They resemble feathered, ethereal wings adorned with sparkling star motifs and cosmic designs.

Accessories: Yuu wears an ornate tiara with a crescent moon and star motifs, along with a matching necklace and bracelets that enhance their celestial and dream-themed look.

Powers and Abilities:

Starlight Surge: Yuu can generate powerful bursts of starlight that can blind enemies and create dazzling explosions of light, enhancing their offensive capabilities.

Dreamweaver's Embrace: This ability allows Yuu to project a powerful, calming aura that can protect and heal their allies, as well as alleviate fear and pain.

Celestial Barrier: Yuu can create a large, protective barrier made of shimmering stardust and cosmic energy, capable of deflecting more substantial attacks and shielding their allies from harm.

Astral Convergence: Yuu can manipulate constellations and celestial energy to create powerful cosmic constructs, such as star-based projectiles or protective constructs that aid them in battle.

Awoken this form during the Glorious Masquerade. It was mainly uses to protect the others from Crimson Flowers and fire.

Multiamory March 2024, Day 17 Prompt- Comet @polyamships

It was Cater who had suggested that the three of them go on a date but Lilia who chose the location. And by the seven it was beautiful.

The three of them were seated on a blanket with some food in a basket looking up at the sky, Lilia pointing out constellations to Yuu and Cater. It was an amazing sight and then, oh- a comet shot past. Blazing and beautiful.

Though the sight of it passed far too fast.

But after watching it for as long as the could Lilia slowly went back to pointing out the constellations and telling them the various stories behind them.

yuu kanda and allen walker from d.gray-man (used to watch this anime around 10 years ago and decided to do it again on a whim. it was as good as i remembered and i had to continue to the manga after finishing it. now am experiencing major brainrot bc like i saw someone comment, for a manga that doesn't aim to be a bl, it surely does make it hard to believe otherwise. i also adore the tragedy of it all)

First ship

my first ever ship i read fanfics for was dominic x brian from fast & furious. otherwise, my first ever ship came from anime as i was consuming that before i ever touched any bl dramas.

my true first ship would so be soubi and ritsuka from the 2005 anime adaptation of the manga loveless. a bit questionable choice i admit, but i still collect the manga bc i find the story fascinating and delightfully painful. also, i love the concept of named pairs (soulmatism with a knife) and their ability to fight against each other

my first ever (thai) bl ship would probably be korn and knock from together with me. there was just something about them back then that made me feel slightly deranged. (with bonus yihwa bc i still think she's one of the best female characters in a bl)

Last song

ดาวหางฮัลเลย์ (halley's comet) by fellow fellow. (sea sung this during his solo stage in last twilight new dawn: live on stage and i've been addicted ever since. i usually listen to this on loop for hours, it's just so nice and vibe-y)

Bou de Neige

(twisted from Snowball in the Disney movie)

Bou was born to a seamstress in the slums of Fleur City. His father abandoned them shortly after, prompting him to become protective of his kindly and naive mother. He tends to keep his personal life separate from his school life, though he visits his home every weekend and his mother makes all of his clothes and shoes.

Since childhood, he’s been obsessed with justice and idolized the story of the Righteous Judge. He aspires to become a court secretary in Fleur City; thus he takes his studies, and his position, at Noble Bell extremely seriously, and has no tolerance for disorder. His obsession with "justice" can make him aggressive and harsh, at times. He’s known for making quick judgments about people, and is able to decide if he likes someone or not within minutes of meeting them. He has a dislike of Pierrot, whose values don't align with Noble Bell's, and a deep dislike of Phoenix, who nicknamed him “Boubou” within seconds of introducing himself. Bou, however, admires Rollo, and sees him as an older brother figure. Rollo does not reciprocate. 

Phoenix Bussiere

(twisted from Disney's Phoebus and 1923 Phoebus, since the book Phoebus is SO unlikable. lol)

Phoenix comes from the wealthiest neighborhood in Fleur City, the only child to a quiet military hero, and overprotective and coddling mother. Despite his stifled childhood, he grew to be charming, extroverted, and brave, with a passion for helping the disadvantaged and following his heart.

He was enrolled at Royal Sword Academy (against his parent's wishes) for one and a half years before they finally convinced him to come home and follow his father's path, to which he transferred to Noble Bell College. With a spotless record and the highest recommendations, Rollo Flamme endorsed him as Justice of the Peace, and with his charming and flirtatious personality, he became a quick favorite of the students at Noble Bell. Within his third month, he became housewarden of La Ville. He is, however, unpopular with some: Bou dislikes him for not taking his position seriously, and Pierrot dislikes him for being full of himself. Rollo is initially apathetic, but grows to dislike him for his flirtatious behavior towards Yuu.

Pierrot Gregoire

(twisted from book and 1939 Pierre Gringoire)

Pierrot's father is a notary, and he has five brothers, both younger and older, putting him somewhere in the middle. Though introverted and cowardly, he didn't take his studies seriously until enrolling at Noble Bell College, where he was tutored by Rollo Flamme and became a high-achieving student with a passion for history, literature, and mythology. For his grades, he was awarded a full-ride scholarship after his wealthy father disowned and estranged him for choosing to pursue creative writing. Leaving him penniless, but with a strong belief in free thought and equal education, which… makes him rather unpopular at Noble Bell. In his third year, he published a controversial pamphlet on the matter of tradition and lost his scholarship and was refused to move to the next grade. He's lived on the streets and paid for school out of pocket since. Nonetheless, he's continued writing, having produced several poems, plays, pamphlets, and one book about a comet, none of which have made him any money. He has a blog which he shares his poetry on.
