As Long As We Have Each Other (JJ Olatunji/KSI)

Y/N's POV

I gulp as I see the tweets appearing from both JJ and Deji

It is Christmas day 2018 and I have just finished my Christmas dinner with my family, when my phone start pinging with notifications

I knew that tensions were high but not this high

I have been dating JJ for a year and a half and I spend most days with him

I have been with him all time that it has been kicking off

JJ said that even though him and Deji weren't getting along, he said that he was going to go round to the house for Christmas and to try and make amends with him

I can see from the tweets, that this hasn't gone very well

JJ has just tweeted saying that Deji has kicked him out the house claiming it is his and that he will call the police if he stays

This is where I think it is time to call JJ and see what is happening

"Excuse me one second" I say as I get off the sofa in the living room where all my family is

I walk out into the kitchen and I call JJ

After a few rings, he answers the phone

"Hello?" his voice asks

"JJ, what the hell is happening?" I ask worried

"Oh you saw the tweets? Well what's happening is Deji being Deji" he tells me as I hear tapping

"Babe, please just stop replying to it! Where even are you?" I ask

He sighs

"He just never gives in, I try so hard to be a good brother to him but no matter what I do, it's never enough! I'm also just sat in my room at the sidemen house" he explains to me

I look at the time

From my family's house, it will take me around an hour to get back to him

"Stay right there, I will be there in an hour" I say as I grab my car keys

"No y/n, you don't have to-" I end the call before he even gets chance to finish his sentence

I walk back into the living room

"I'm sorry guys I'm going to have to go back to London, JJ needs me" I explain to them

"Ok hunny, tell JJ that he is welcome to come and spend the rest of Christmas with us" My mum says as she pulls me into a hug

My family love JJ and I know that they would love to have him here for Christmas

I quickly leave the house and get in my car and start my drive to London

I can't leave him on his own at a time like this

-AN HOUR LATER-

I pull up into the driveway of the Sidemen house and get out of the car before running up to the door and knocking

After a few moments, the door swings open to reveal JJ

"Y/n, what are you doing here?" he asks as he steps out of the doorway

"I couldn't leave you on your own at a time like this" I explain as I walk in

JJ shuts the door and turns around before he pulls me into a hug

"I'm so glad you are here" he mumbles into my ear

"Right come on, follow me" I say as I let go of him and grab his hand

I pull him upstairs to his room

I shut the door behind us before I go over to his computer and turn it off

I turn the lights down before I lead JJ over to his bed

I go around the opposite side of the bed to JJ and I gesture for him to get in

We get in under the cover and automatically cuddle up to each other

I wrap my arms around him and hold him close to me

It is usually the other way around but at a time like this, I just want to hold him close

As we sit in the darkened room just enjoying the silence, JJ lets out of a sigh

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask quietly

I feel him nod

"I just don't know what to do about Deji anymore, he has turned both my mum and dad against me, he even threatened to call the police on me if I stayed at the house! What kind of brother does that?" he rants

"Honestly JJ, I thought you two would be able to squash the beef even a little bit when you went over there. I never expected this to happen" I say

"Well obviously not, he even said that he recorded our conversation, I mean I did as well just to protect my own back because I could practically see this coming" he explained to me

"I know but what's happened has happened, now how about we have a nap and just relax" I suggest

JJ nods as I feel his body relax

"And then after we have had a nap, we are going up to my parents for the rest of Christmas because they said to bring you back up here and you know how much they love you" I say with a smile

JJ laughs

"Alright babe anything you say, as long as Mrs Y/LN has saved me some of her amazing Christmas dinner, I'll be happy" he tells me

"Don't you worry about that, she texted me as I got here saying that she has a plate ready for you" I explain

JJ hums in response as I see him close his eyes, as he begins to fall asleep

"Don't worry babe, as long as we have each other nothing else matter" I mumble to him before I kiss his forehead

I honestly love this boy with all my heart and I hate to see him like this, I would do anything for him

Including leaving my family on Christmas day, just to spend it with him.
