Now given the recent follow from Mr. Machine himself what do we think did this person change over time or was it a stoke of luck?

Dano Riddler Is Actually A Very Standard Riddler He's Just Wearing A Freaky Mask
I'm gonna ramble here bc I bug the people of twitter way too much with my rants abt Dano Riddler. He is SUCH a good Riddler, he's just Handled very differently to others and I think to the average Riddler fan it's so alien to other interpretations, but he's actually. a VERY STANDARD RIDDLER in terms of his behavior. He's extremely self-centered, arrogant, and petulant. Yes he's suffered genuine trauma, but this absolutely doesn't excuse the fact that he's extremely uncharitable to others, does think himself Above everyone else, and doesn't care who he hurts. Other Riddlers have been abused by their own parents, bullied relentlessly in their youth, etc. and we obviously don't excuse their behavior for that, Dano Riddler is actually VERY CLEVER in painting his crusade as a populist revolution. He's a VERY dangerous Riddler because he recognizes that if he can silently concede some power/spotlight to others, he can gain even more attention and acclaim.
Edward is SO self-centered. He hides behind populist language to rally others to support him BECAUSE LIKE EVERY RIDDLER HE CRAVES ATTENTION AND OUTSIDE VALIDATION. He'll just never admit that. He'll paint this as rallying his troops, speaking for the people, but it's not. It's the exact same reason Riddler does the things he does in every other version - he wants people to SEE him. "Now they'll remember ME - they'll remember BOTH OF US". Your homework is rewatching the "Hey Guys" video but replacing all of his populist verbiage with I, Me, My, etc. instead of We, Us, etc.
"Oh but he puts himself down so often, how can he be arrogant" have you EVER met one of those really obnoxious guys who clearly thinks of himself as some amazing, wonderful dude and he's constantly like "ah I'm just lame, I'm a loser". It's that. His Actual perception of himself is someone who sees past all the "bullshit", and just because he genuinely did uncover corruption of Gotham, this doesn't make him some paragon of truth. He just happened to be in the right field of work to catch the funneling of funds through Renewal.
He also reminds me a LOT of Arkham Riddler the way he blows up on people. When he fusses at Colson for speaking over him, I was getting major Arkham Ed vibes. He stamps his feet and demands the game be played HIS way. Yes most of his breakdowns in the movie and comic are due to his trauma, but I also think a handful of them stem from him just being kind of immature. Specifically the Colson one, and the interrogation scene. I think those two specifically were not breakdowns, they were tantrums because things weren't going his way.
Dano Riddler gets a lot of guff for being a "sympathetically written" Riddler. He really isn't, people just find Paul Dano's performance very fun and he is - as we can all admit bc we are big boys and girls - very cute. But if he were maybe more off-putting, I think it would be clearer that he's actually a VERY standard Riddler, just in very unfamiliar packaging. And I think his evolution over the series is going to reveal more of his mean, bad natured behavior.

Hello. I want to ask something regarding mgk but don't want people to call me names on twitter and this blog seems like a safe space so...
Had Colson ever wore skirts, crop tops etc before meeting Megan? Dress however you want but I saw the CHD interview and it seems like Megan never had much body positivity, even her mother noticed it. I ask this because I've seen the way she dressed her kids and then I see mgk and I feel like she was kind of using them to create what she "lacked" in herself in her eyes. She started all that rehab barbie persona. Like I don't remember Colson even being all macho and shit but he seemed different. A few years ago he even said in 1 pap video while smiling that dont ask me rap beef questions while i'm dressed like this, it was on youtube. Also, she dumped all the astrology, chakra stuff on him which she uses as a crutch instead of actually seeking professional help. Praying to a banyan tree was just so ridiculous. They'll do everything except being adults for those kids it's simply baffling to me and I'm not even a kids' person.
Apologies for my English.
I tried to look up his outfits before M and I don't think he ever wore crop tops, skirts etc. But I will say his style was still always evolving and flashy so I wouldn't say it was really M's influence for his fashion choices. You also have to think that during that time he was doing rap with a little bit of rock influence. These two genres specifically the rap world isn't going to be to accepting of a rapper wearing skirts and crop tops because it's a very macho, masculine, tough guy genre so he would have got bullied badly.
I think when he stepped into more punk rock genre, he was able to explore those type of clothing without being met with shame although some who knew him as a rapper were quick to mock him.
As for Megan, she is lost in the sea of her insecurities, shame and failures. Because she is so lost and doesn't know who she is, she clings and adopts anyone or anything that is around her. With Brian she was a complete homebody, a doting mother, healer, nature vibes. But then with Colson, she is wearing trendy clothes, heavy into surgeries, being overly sexual, taking photos and being flashy just like him while also trying to be intelligent and making their relationship seem like they are some dark twisted bonnie and Clyde relationship. If you ever really look deep into Megan, you realize there really is nothing there, no personality, no life, no energy unless it's the energy she drains from Colson

oof that's awkward. granted dyaisha is free to feel whatever she feels and I feel like I'd feel some type of way if I was waived from a team and barely got any game time.
Hammon said in the last presser that Kate earned her minutes from practice, from the locker room and the coaches trusting her. Dyaisha had the same amount of chances to improve at practice just like Kate did. The coaches saw if Fair was progressing or not, and waiving her was the right decision as she probably wasn’t improving. She looked lost out there with the 4 mins she was in. I’ve watched her play - she was the star on her team that could score, but her defense always needed work.
I’ve seen her tiktok lives before she got cut. And there was one I remember where she was lowkey shading Kate. Yes, Hammon drafted her, but it seems like the effort she wanted out of Fair just wasn’t there at practice and you can’t teach or coach effort.
What some casuals on Twitter and other SM fail to take note of is the playing time Hammon has given Kate and it’s only been 4 games. Bell BARELY played during her rookie season. Kate has already moved ahead in the reserve rotation for the Aces - jumped ahead of Bell and Colson. Watching the games Kate has played, she’s mixed in with the different core players, and depending on who’s in the game, her role/job on defense/offense can change (play calling / scheme wise). That’s how high Kate’s IQ is for a rookie.
^^^ several points were made.

1, 4, 21, 25!
1. How many books did you read this year?
127 (according to StoryGraph), but I'm 70% through The Second Sex and will probably finish a handful more before January.
4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?
I really loved Seth Dickinson's Baru Cormorant trilogy and am planning on checking out his other works. I also started reading Naomi Novik and am actively resisting her Napoléonic Wars But With Dragons series (Spinning Silver, her latest release, was really tight, but Uprooted was ... less purposeful? And I don't wanna commit to a ten-book series).
Otherwise, I actually did a lot more branching out to explore authors I've already read books by to confirm if it was a fluke or if I consistently like their work — Colson Whitehead (anything that isn't autobiographical is masterfully written), Donna Tartt (this woman has a chokehold on my SOUL), R.F. Kuang (great ideas though sometimes a bit ambitious for her abilities — but she's growing more powerful). I've read stories from Nghi Vo's Singing Hills series and have enjoyed all of them, but I haven't checked out their other works, so it feels disingenuous to say I love them as an author for now, but I'm certainly open to reading their other works based on this. Oh, and I finally read my first Discworld book, so you could say it's all over for me.
21. Did you participate in or watch any booklr, booktube, or book twitter drama?
lol, not even familiar with those communities.
25. What reading goals do you have for next year?
My book club friends this year had soft, no-pressure goals of 100 books for the year, so I set that as a passive benchmark for myself. I guess ... reduce the number of books in my to-read pile on StoryGraph? I seem to keep adding more every time I read another book. ^^;

Did you know Megan has body dysmorphia? I feel like most of the stuff she does to her body has more to do with it than Colson
I know she mentioned it before, I agree that most of her body modifications have to do with her own insecurities and mental health struggles. But I also find it interesting (not bashing her, just pointing something out), Megan since the beginning of her relationship with colson has presented herself as someone who is healed mentally, spiritually and is super in tune with herself. She played a huge part in Colson's complete dive into astrology and therapeutic practices and spiritual bonding. The degree in which she is modifying her body forces me to believe that she is not as put together as she presents. And her influence on Colson's healing is little to non-existent (ex. Colson asked Mike Posner for help on Twitter).

The amount of people that don’t know what Killshot stemmed from or think Eminem made it cause he was being old and grumpy about the younger artist becoming successful is crazzzzzzy. Sooooo many still til this day.
This. Thank you, anon!
I'd tell loads of them even forgot that MGK thought that this would work out with Corey Taylor. He spread bullish on his twitter account that Corey himself had to address during the Slipknot concert. Also even if Colson has got some good tracks and his ironic pop-punk album became #1 on Billboard, he is still a problematic straight up liar and ageist.
