International artist and entrepreneur Orit Guttmacher Levy, who exhibited at the prestigious exhibition in Milan "Artigiano in Fiera", is now launching 26 coloring books and notebooks on Amazon in a unique and magical artistic style, touching on the Jewish soul and sacred geometry, inspired by the personal journey she embarked on following the October 7th, 2023 terror attack on Israel.

"Sacred geometry combines geometric shapes and mathematical formulas with precise divine proportions, which demonstrate the basic principles and patterns that exist in nature and the universe. For example, the "golden ratio" and the spiral that appear in the snail shell, a hurricanes and in certain galactic structures, and through which one can connect to the feeling of "oneness", i.e. a harmonious connection between man, the universe and creation. Creating, observing, and painting these wondrous and universal structures contribute to a sense of energetic-physical-mental balance. They inspire peace and vitality, release inhibiting thoughts, expand consciousness, and enable a deep spiritual connection between cultures and religions," explains Orit Guttmacher Levy, owner of the brand "HALELUYA Sacred Soul Art".

Sacred geometry is ancient and based on shapes that exist in nature, which are expressed in numerical relationships and precise proportions. Design according to the principles of sacred geometry has appeared in art and architecture throughout history since the days of the pyramids in Egypt and the Parthenon in Athens. It is integrated into ancient cultures in India and China, as well as in the construction of religious buildings such as churches and synagogues. Buildings designed according to the principles of sacred geometry are considered to have a unique effect on visitors in terms of harmonious balance and a connection between the physical and spiritual dimensions. The golden ratio, for instance, is a geometric proportion that appears in nature and is considered aesthetically ideal. Famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael used the golden ratio to divide their compositions, create order and balance, and to demonstrate the connection between figures and space or between figures and God. In a variety of religious artworks, the circle represents wholeness and infinity, while the triangle symbolizes the Holy Trinity. Sacred geometry not only adds aesthetic depth to works of art but also serves as a bridge between the physical and the spiritual. It allows artists to convey complex messages about human existence, divinity, and nature, and invites the viewer to delve into the deeper meaning of the work.

After the events of October 7th, Orit, a mother of three teenage sons, found herself embarking alone on a wandering journey across countries and continents in search of a quiet and safe place. Over the past year, she has traveled to Crete, Denmark, Costa Rica, and the United States and faced challenging experiences and encounters in the places she has stayed. Among other things, she dealt with a serious virus in Costa Rica, slept on a couch in a friend's living room in Denmark, had a scare when a Sudanese refugee ship crashed next to her while visiting the island of Gavdos near Crete, and more. "The only thing I kept at all times from the moment I left the country was my art, it was what kept me going and helped me cope. I left in a hurry out of fear, even without the laptop that was forgotten in my bag at home in Yesod Hama'ala in the Galilee," she says.

"The artwork helped me cope with the feeling of grief following the October 7th massacre, with the forced separation from my children, the distance from my country, my home settlement, and the people, and with the wanderings and loneliness when I feel threatened by the very fact of being an Israeli Jew and an American. I always knew that art heals, but saying it and experiencing it are two completely different things."

Guttmacher Levy, who began her artistic journey from her childhood experiences in the Galilee among wheat fields and pomegranate trees on the banks of the Jordan River, says: "In my grandparents' house, I absorbed the values ​​of Judaism and the sense of holiness surrounding the family meal on Shabbat night, the candles, the blessings. I remember that every Shabbat I used to paint peacefully and harmoniously with the many colors and booklets that my grandmother brought me from the United States."

As a young mother, Orit set up a studio in her home to create decorative designs in wood and children's games, and even participated in an important exhibition in Milan called "Artigiano in Fiera." Since 2015, the business has been adapted and "updated" to the digital age and international e-commerce. The products can be purchased and downloaded online as individual units or as part of a subscription by topic, for both private and institutional customers.

The diverse collection that Orit launched on Amazon now includes two series highlights: “Jewish Soul Art Series” and “Sacred Soul Art Series.” The Jewish series features designs influenced by the Kabbalah and the holiness of the Land of Israel, along with symbols such as the “Chariot” (a 3D Star of David), prayers, and blessings. The other series focuses on sacred geometry, with designs based on universal spiritual principles and symbols from ancient cultures.
