Okay so last night I was having an "art style panic"? I guess you could call it that? But I was feeling really bad, so i started drawing other peoples art styles and picking points and peaces out of it!

I did this last night when I was really tired and i used a pen so the drawings may not be how i usually do my drawings haha

Ok so first up we have @emjoyzhos-ej !! I recently just found your account but you have a very cool style!!

What did i learn from this whole thing i did? That everyone has a unique style, that even if they try to change it it still stays theirs and it's still unique

I also found out that everyone, small artists and big artists, has flaws! It's comforting to know that everyone has flaws so I know I'm just learning and getting better everyday

Another thing I got from this is that everyone's styles are always changing and warping. But thats fine! Because everyone's moving and changing, and the worlds always moving and changing!

So, don't be so hard on yourself if you're struggling to draw or find an art style, how you draw is unique to you and you'll like it one day

Just keep drawing everyday and you'll get there.

I suggest doing this challenge, on paper or digital, wether you color it or not, or post ot or not!

It's great to try out.

Ranking the girls magic Winx outfits

I was bored so I figured I was gonna make a post about my favorite show growing up. Favorite show is an euphemism, it was actually my religion 😂

Disclaimer: This is only my personal opinion^^

6th place: Tecna (4,5/10)

While I applaud the originality...might be a lil too original for my taste. It took me 18 years to figure out the green things on her back were wings. I don't like the shape of the helmet and - this one is personal - but purple has never been my color. And I know she was sweating in that damn suit. The one detail I do like is the shape of the heels. She still looks good though, I mean, when did she ever not look good ?

5th place: Bloom (5,5/10)

Bloom is my favorite Winx (I'm only talking about s1-3 Bloom, we don't talk about the other one) but while Tecna is too much, I feel like her transformation is too simple ? It's pretty, but it lacks some element that would distinguish it from the others, some originality...some spark. I do like the shape of the top and the boots are cute. Also think there is some appeal to simplicity + blue really is her color. Wished they did something with her hair it would have made a big difference.

4th place: Musa (7,5/10)

I really hesitated but finally put her at 4th. I love the high boots and the see-through part of the outfit. The ribbon on her arm is a nice detail but what I like the most is the shape of her wings, reminds me of a dragonfly, sooo cute. Of course her piggytails are iconic (bonus point for the headset) and there's no better match than black hair with a red outfit. Really, the only reason it's not higher on the list is because while I think it looks great, I would've liked something a little more...idk messy for Musa ? You know something that screams rebel, this outfit needed some ripped parts to it.

3rd place: Flora (8,5/10)

Hesitated btw her and Musa, but she won the dual. I love the shades of pink they used and I think it complements her skin tone perfectly + the symmetry of it all is sooo satisfying to me. Her wings scream tinkerbell and the color prevents the whole thing from being too...pink. I love the shape of the top, kinda looks like a corset and same goes for the gloves (the end of the gloves looks like petals). Overall, her outfit screams Flora and is just the perfect mix of glamor and femininity.

2nd place: Aisha/Layla (9,5/10)

First, I think green does wonders when paired with dark skin/dark hair and she is no exception. I love the skirt and the fact that we can see the shorts underneath. The shape of the outfit is chaotic and asymmetrical and I love it (especially the silver ring on her hip which links several parts of the outfit together which is so pretty and original). Bonus points for the jewelry (simple, but so effective) and the white heels which are so satisfying to me for some obscure reason.

1st place: Stella (10/10)

This one is a mistery to me. It's almost as simple as Bloom's outfit, but idk it just works so well ? Like it was meant to be ? Her boots are iconic, the twintails/bangs/headband combo is deadly. The fact that the headband is matching whatever is on her arms. I'm personally a sucker for shorts and for some reason it goes so well with the shape of the top ? And orange is just soooo her color. It screams hot, it screams Stella. I think every element on its own is rather simple but when put together they just work. Oh, and the three part wings are so pretty and add the extravagance the whole look needed.

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

Edward Charles Allan Brock is a plaque on this wasteland of an Earth, sent specifically to torment me. I hate his stupid face. I hate it I hate it I hate it. I can never keep it on model. I've made this design for myself in hope to have a compromise between the various og comic designs and what I could find fun to draw, but Christ alive.

5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself

Nowadays I post almost all the art I make. I'm dealing with some health issues that cause my hands to start hurting very easily if I draw for too long. So I don't really do like random casual doodles anymore and focus on drawing the things that make me the most happy!

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what

I ALWAYS have sth playing in the background. Half the time it's music (my favorite band is Yorushika! But I listen to a lot of different artists. Lately I've been checking a lot of Kwiat Jabłoni's, Florence + The Machine's and The Oh Hellos' songs!) and the other half various video essays about books, movies, cartoons, tv series, games... I'm one of the people who listens to Quinton Review's 5+ hours long videos on the shows I've never even watched lol

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy

I didn't know a lot of people don't like shading until I saw one of those poll's asking artists what part of the proces they dislike the most lol For me it's super fun! It feels kinda like craving your artwork from the base of colors. And if you have enough time to add more color so the shadows... the effects feel like magic! No other part of the proces is this satisfying!

Bokuto cheered as they scored another point against Karasuno, with the help of his team mates.

You couldn't help but wince.

Either from another point loss for your team or from him. You'll never know.

Looking at the scoreboard, you jotted down the scores on your notebook and pointed out some of the Karasuno team seems to be doing. You willed yourself to drown in the role of being a manager just to prevent yourself from thinking of Bokuto and his lover, the one he replaced you with; Akaashi Keiji.

You need to occupy yourself, if you haven't then you surely already confronted them both. But who are you kidding, you can't. You're too weak to do that.

Akaashi's mouth tilted upwards as he watched his hyperactive boyfriend being more hyped up. His gunmetal eyed made it's way to your unsuspecting form. The faint smile he had slowly dissappearing.

Mixed emotions swirl inside him creating a one big giant mess. He felt conflicted, disappointed and guilty.

Should he apprach and talk things with you or just let it be? After all, you haven't made a move to talk to him or Koutaro.

And to be honest, Akaashi is very grateful for that. There's less chances for Bokuto leaving him for you.

Akaashi can feel his insecurity and guilt eating at him day by day the longer you stayed here.He knows he's being selfish but he just can't lose Koutaro, even for his destined soulmate.

He was pulled from his inner turmoil as Bokuto jumped up and down infront of him.

"Akaaashi! Did you see my spike? Did you?! did you!?" Bokuto asked his lover, golden eyes twinkling with delight, Akaashi smiled and nodded.

Now he remembers why he's being selfish; he remembers why he won't be able to give the love of his life away.

It's because of the way how those golden eyes stare at him.

Even though the guilt slowly starts to creep up to him, he just can't loose Bokuto. And he won't.

He would make sure of it.

A few days past by and it was the last day of training camp. Everything went by smoothly for you and the team. You could've almost sighed in relief.

If it weren't for the fact that you noticed that someone has been eyeing you a bit in the Fukurodani team for the whole day which made you a bit on edge. Maybe you were just being paranoid but who knows? Kiyoko, who noticed your uneasiness stood by your side the whole day so you wouldn't feel alone.

You sighed as you grabbed pieces of meat to put on your plate since thr coaches decided to treat their students after a long training camp.

"L/n! Look out!"

You whipped your head and saw an incoming meat getting dangerously close to you, luckily for your fast reflexes, you managed to evade it.

However, you couldn't say the same for the poor guy behind you.

"Come here right now so I could kill you."

All the color from your face drained completely, you were terrified.

Tsukishima snickered, "She really attratcs trouble." Meanwhile his friend shot him a warning glare.

At this point, everyone is looking towards you and the male who still had the barbecue meat plastered on the square of his face.

"I-im sorry!" You squeaked, carefully peeling off the meat from his face. The guy sighed, "I wasn't talking about you. I was referring to Bokuto, he was the one who carelessly catapulted the meat anyways. I'm not mad at you. Don't worry." He assured you, patting your back.

He took a closer look at you, and you swear you thought that he probably suspected you to be Bokuto's soulmate. "You're cute.. If I wasn't covered in barbecue sauce and have most of my dignity left in me I would've asked you out-"

"Heeey! Leave the poor girl alone! You're scaring her!" Bokuto shoved Tetsuroo aside and smiled at you. Once you've held eye contact you knew.

You knew that you can't hide from him anymore.

idk if any other aesthetic bloggers do this but i LOVE planning out exactly what order my posts go in so that they transition smoothly/look more cohesive. i’ve done this since starting this little blog nearly 4 years ago and i know it’s a lot due in part because of my autism but i love putting things in an exact order that works well together it’s sooo satisfying. to give you an example i use the colors of posts to transition better/line up well, soft pink roses then a bluish tint on the leaves -> going to more blue in those pillows i reblogged -> blue ribbon on the cute cat gif holding a rose -> a nice sky blue in those mugs -> and finally the sky/clouds itself in that forever and ever post. i also like to vary the amount of imgs (multiple imgs post)/imgs size/whether the next post is a gif or not. it’s all done really quickly btw but it’s genuinely Very fun to organize each and every aesthetic post on here to make a consistent blog/archive/etc.

Dressing up as TSH characters based on clothes that I have

in my wardrobe minus shoes cos 99 % of the look are men and I mostly own sneakers and some women boots (this is also helping me to get better at describing things in English)

Camilla- easiest one cos I bought recently a lot of clothes which she would most definitely wear. For more feminine look: checked brown and white skirt up to my knees, white shirt (bottom up obv) and white cardigan sweater. For more masculine look I have white milky (creamy?) trousers as well

Charles- same but instead of skirt I use trousers in similar pattern. This also works reversed as it’s stated Camilla used to steal her brother’s clothes

Francis - I don’t have his type of glasses so we would go without them but I do have checked red and green shawl (which I started to use daily as it can be quite cold where I live) I am sure Francis would love this shawl. Next I’d use my brown sweater - pullover with turtle neckline (i googled it up) and probably same trousers as for Charles. To make it a bit more Francislike I can’t forget a black jakcet just to hang in my shoulders - it’s not long one but it serves the purpose

Bunny- there are sooo many possibilies with this guy what a wild card he is! I think my checked red shirt is good go! I have two similar ones with only a bit different color patterns (and I love both to bits I wore them a lot during my uni days and these can also be used for Francis’ second look). For trousers I’d probably use my blue jeans which show off my anckles (maybe I’d add a knee up socks which would hide it I think about all types of funny socks Bunny must have worn lmao and I have many of those too). For another look I could even tr my green buttom up shirt or even just plain white T-shirt with those red shirts (as they can be used as cardigans) and just plain black jeans. For Bunny I actually do have quite nice glasses (im near sighted >.< so they are prescribed). Henry - next I’d use same watch and glasses for Henry as well. My wardrobe consists of mostly dark clothes so Henry isn’t problem even if I don’t own English suits (I am a woman living in house full of women only). Black turtleneck pullover (same type as for Francis), black trousers and a black jacket (I have a perfect buttom up jacket which looks similar to English Victorian jackets). Grab blue umbrella (cos we don’t have a black one) and here we go

Richard- ironically the harderst to decide on because I have to experiment. Dark blue cardigan jacket, a bit shorter than Henry’s (not even reaching my hips) and without buttons (same one as used for Bunny). A blue or green shirt (somehow I can’t find green one my wardrobe is a mess) and black trousers. Second look cos I am not satisfied with previous one: I have checkered kind of 80s style V-neck sweater I am absolutely in love with (but I think it wouldn’t fit with beforementioned styles which is why I am using it here) which would work well with white shirt. Go to the store to buy brown trousers to compliment it or I’d have to settle with black ones again (thank god black goes well with everything). Btw I also have a nice vintage light brown coat. It’s perfect I myself never want to take it off. It has a hoodie on it and it’s perfect to wear for all characters here expect for Henry cos Henry is emo boi when it comes to looks

Realize I am still bad at descriptions but satisfied cos I finally lived out my fantasy to cosplay as my favourite characters with minimal effort and with what I have (as you see I have a lot of white and black stuff plus a lot of red and blue too as they are my favourite colors and almost no brown so it’s a bit hard to replicate Richard and Bunny but I tried to think of something). If I ever wanted to get more serious with this I’d probably buy more vintage dark academia stuff lmao

i finished the akira manga : D i wish there was more i enjoyed every panel of this series so much. i love all the characters and the mysteries in it. really wish there was more but now its over. i love this series so much. i first watched the movie last year because of a friend and forgot about it after we finished watching it. a month ago i watched it with another friend but this time it stuck with me and i started obsessing over the movie and watched it like 5 more times. it also gave me such a motivation burst for drawing as it shows on my posts lol and i even read fanfiction of it which i rarely ever do. this motivated me to start reading the manga. altho i started reading it online, with my brothers help i got the physical colored copies which were sooo fun to read and it probably enhanced the fun i had with this series. now its "over". im probably gonna read some fanfiction cause im not satisfied yet. thats also actually why i read the manga, so i know what the fics are talking about haha. not to be super cheesy but ;-; thanks katsuhiro otomo for making such a cool series and movie that brought me so much fun <<<<3 (that heart looks horrible in the tumblr app btw...)

okay where do i begin...let it b known i am winging this as i write it,,, so if it’s messy n i ramble i am SO sorry

let’s take it back 2 the beginning,,, emma was born on a lovely autumn morning in new york city ( let it b known she’s a libra ). she is the first and only child to her parents, and her mother named her after her favorite jane austen heroine, emma woodhouse

even at a young age, emma much preferred being in the company of her mother. she was kind, affectionate, and wise beyond her years. her father, on the other hand, had a colder disposition and wasn’t too keen on showing emotion. he wasn’t necessarily a bad person, but emma often felt like she was in the presence of a stranger around her father

emma and her mother were inseparable. her mother taught her to always be kind and reminded her to be humble. in a world so cruel, her mother was like a beacon of light, and emma wanted to be just like her

she had a picture perfect childhood. for a while, it was just her, her parents, and the family cat, luna. despite not being particularly close to her father, she admired the love her parents shared. it was real and pure. the two were opposites who brought out the best in each other

soon, emma learned that her perfect little life wouldn’t always be perfect. caught in the midst of a winter storm, her mother fell victim to a tragic car accident. at just eleven years old, emma’s life was changed forever. her life was beginning to mimick the heroine she was named after, who also lost her mother at a young age

after the death of her mother, her father went stone cold. he completely shut emma out, leaving her to mourn her mother’s death on her own. unable to cope with the loss of her mother, emma began making up stories about the whereabouts of her mother when people around her began to ask. one week, her mother was vacationing in the bahamas, and the next she was visiting family in the hamptons. emma grew into the habit of making up stories about her mother, though it wasn’t long before she began to lie about other things as well

her lies were mostly harmless, at least she always intended them to be. unfortunately, their were times people got tangled into her stories and were hurt in the process. much like an addiction, lying was a habit she couldn’t quit

after living in new york for a few more years following the death of her mother, her father packed them up and they moved to the sunny city of angels, LA, for a fresh new start

emma looked at the move as a way to start again. she decided to leave her pain behind in new york, as her mother would have wanted. emma vowed to remain kind and honor her mother’s memory by being the person she always taught her to be

at school, emma worked hard. she completed her high school education in the city of love itself, paris, france. before entering high school, her father became president of ucla, guaranteeing she would always have a spot at the school, but emma refused to rely on what was given to her. she wanted to earn it. emma was at the top of her class in high school, taking on challenging classes and becoming student body president. 

during high school in france, emma discovered her passion for design. she spent her free time making clothes and donating them to women’s shelters

while in france, she also found herself wrapped up in a love story with a french boy...or two. emma loves love, however, she has never been one to settle because she is never satisfied. she thought she was in love with one boy up until she met another who stole her attention. emma desperately wants to be in love, and she has been a few times, but nothing has ever lasted

after her french excursion, she returned back to LA a changed woman, almost unrecognizable to her father. she was certain about what she wanted to do with her life, which was fashion. she began studying fashion marketing and design at ucla

her cat luna is still alive btw and she is a proud cat mom

personality wise, i would describe emma as someone who can be extremely sociable, but tends to be more reserved unless put in a situation that encourages her to open up. she’s free-spirited and her head tends to always be in the clouds, probably daydreaming about love and her future success in the fashion world. she’s extremely idealistic, which may also be the reason shes never satisfied. overall, aesthetic wise i would describe her as classic and chic, inspired heavily by french fashion and living. emma can sometimes be a bit of a narcissist in the sense that she truly believes she’s like a modern-day jane austen heroine destined for something great. she can be a bit snobby at times, but her intentions are never bad...if she’s ever angry/annoyed i feel like she’d be super passive aggressive like the type of person who expects u to kno u fucked up without actually telling u anything ajdjdhkh (rip). she gives me pisces moon vibes but i havent decided for sure yet ajshddhkhd

how i draw bts fanarts

heyheyhey this time i wanted to try something different. it’s my first time doing something like this, so it kinda looks messy and I always forgot to screen some steps between. anyways have fun!

1. Sooo I start off with a rough sketch of jimins face, to see where the eyes, nose, mouth, neck etc kinda belong. It doesn’t even look a little bit like jimin right? rather he looks a little deformed and sad here... like this -> D:

2. lol big step ahead (i told u its messy xD) i start with the eyes which is struggle the most with. then the nose and then i color the skin from the eyes to the cheeks leaving the mouth

3. OK mouth is halfway done, neck is there too

4. a random close up on an ear. ears are quick to draw (btw i managed to lose the before-ear-pic)

5. addeed his hoodie(?), earrings + one eyebrow  i changed both eyes a little. before they were a little off

6. added another brow and started to think ab the background, still like the color tho 

7. HIGHLIGHTS the hair is done too! still need to practice on the hair, this time im pretty satisfied with it but i still haven’t figured out how to draw with a system, big BIG struggle
