This is just a sampling of all the things I make for my art brand Schlady, which covers the whole spectrum of my colorful art & design work: original acrylic paintings, art prints, greeting cards, stickers, buttons, magnets, and more. As you can see, I care quite a bit about cats, landscapes, memes, and expressions of pride, and I love to make new & custom designs whenever I can.

Who here 🧡 pumpkin spice chai lattes?

Oh my goodness, if your brain FIRST went to that starbucks drink, you get why I did a whole illustration inspired by that beverage. It's sweet, creamy, pumpkin and chai spice flavored - it's like taking a sip of the fall season! Also, every time you've got to top the drink off with some delicious whipped cream and maybe a sprinkle of cinnamon. ✨ I have yet to try making this delicious beverage at home but it's on my list to do!

About this piece: I wanted this illustration to be cozy, cute, and pumpkin spice focused. I darkened the background to give that cozy emphasis and really pushed the orange color theme out. Anise flowers and fall leaves give a bit of movement and differentiation from the roundness of everything else. Aaaand I added eyes just cause I wanted too - adds the cuteness factor! So yeah, that's some notes to share.

It's all about the weather

Yes! Our Colorado weather is testing all of my materials daily. Today it is snow. Next week wind. In the summer sun. And rain in the spring. Here a few pictures of my work in the snow. Enjoy! Fire Dance sculpture is now in Lyons, Calypso is in Palisade at a winery.
