"In hindsight, Granpa told me to bring a jacket. Maybe I should've listened..."
Poppy often just jogs her way back home from exercising at the Colliseum. However, it turned out that it was pretty rainy and- even if she's waterproof, having rain coming down on you isn't really desirable either. So she sat down and waited for the Riverperson bus to arrive.
And she'll be the first to tell you that the bus doesn't come around the area often enough. At least the posters for plays are nice to look at...

The Roman Amphitheater of Catania, the largest in Sicily and one of the largest in the Roman Empire, was built in the 2nd century and was expanded in the 3rd century to reach a capacity of 15,000 spectators. The excavated remains that can be seen represent about one tenth of the entire structure. Most of the amphitheater lies beneath buildings in the historic center of Catania.
Modern excavations at the beginning of the 20th century allowed the site to be opened to the public in 1907, but within ten years it was being used as an open sewer by many of the surrounding buildings. Maintenance and conservation of the ruins occurred sporadically into the 21st century, and it was closed again for repairs when I took these photos in April 2022.

thinking about my Tokyo Ghoul au I made for Danganronpa. It was meant to be kind of its own thing, not necessarily doing THH and not necessarily copying the plot beats of Tokyo Ghoul. Either way Makoto takes Kaneki’s place kind of, mainly bc when I read the opening I could not stop thinking about what supernaturally bad luck Kaneki had. And the way Kaneki ended up being the “bridge between two worlds” and represented justice and a means to an end for BOTH sides at different points gave me ‘Ultimate Hope’ vibes. At the same time Kaneki could EASILY be replaced with Hajime due to the conspiracy that Kaneki’s accident was done on purpose to basically experiment on someone to see if they could create the hope they needed. Only reason I didn’t jump to it is bc back then I was sticking Makoto in any scenario I wanted AND there’s another Tokyo Ghoul character that fits Hajime’s story. Anyway. I wanted to toy with the idea of someone who values life and helping others so deeply as Makoto being forced to do horrible things or else lose himself entirely. Becoming something you feared and only viewed as a monster until they revealed themselves to be people, but still horrified to find yourself in the middle. I think Makoto would have a unique reaction and I think he’d lean much more towards self sacrifice and helping try to get both sides to see each other’s humanity much faster than Kaneki did or Hajime would. But he’d also be ashamed and scared of what he’d become and desperate not to hurt anyone, which would be a disaster in the making as the longer a Ghoul goes without eating a person, the more beast like and unhinged they become. It’s not ALL that much different from a vampire au save the fact that there’s no option to just. get a little blood from a living person and leave them just slightly woozy or raid blood bags from donations. You HAVE to seriously injure someone or outright kill them to live, which is what separates the two.

(@zoruascanbetrainerstoo) Hihi! I've never heard of Orre before! What's it like? -Illanero
Orre is kinda crazy. Like we've had a bunch of issues with this Team Snaggem group that stole pokemon and closed off their hearts. It's part of the reason I became a behaviorist because I wanted to be able to help when that happened.
Super sad situation, I think there's still some shadow pokemon out there being kept away. :c
They just wanted to make super powerful pokemon without putting in the work of training. Sigh.
But other than that it's pretty alright, resides a little further west of Unova but the two regions are still pretty close.
We don't have a lot of wild pokemon though because of invasive species so there's a conservation initiative going on down here to help release our native species back into the wild! (So many emolga. We haven't been able to reintroduce their natural predators yet because they're so finicky about their environment so we just have so many emolga in the environment)

Hey folks! I drew this little piece today, and I felt like sharing it.
It's Poppy and Rust showing Dusted this cool tag team move they came up with at the Colliseum.
Now I don't really have a way of describing it, so here is a visual representation of what I had thought abt:

Some domesticated animals of the world.
Here's the lore for the yakor camel and ogrehounds and here's it for the dragon (wich is not domesticated, I added it for scale and is probably about to destroy that whole scouting platoon)
The galloping bull is species inspired by eggysodon wich is used for milk, meat, leather and as a beast of burden.
The macouse is a large and intelligent herbivore inspired by paraceratherium and similar in behaviour to earth's asian elephant. It's used as a moving fortress and its psychological factor against troops that have never seen such a beast cannot be underestimated. On the macouse's flank there is a banner depicting an ogre. It's known that the Sun Empire feeds prisioners of war to captive ogres in colliseum-like spectacles so this image its not only horrifying but also a ghostly remider to enemy troops of their likely demise.
Out of war, tamed macouses are used for transportation as they can traverse the dense forests/jungles and flooded areas of the Helicas penninsula (core territory of the Sun Empire) during the wet season.
This great dragon resembles the average size of the species. Even though they can get way bigger than this, they are probably the most dangerous at this size, because of their speed and also because they will attack humans for food very often. An elder dragon of this size would rarely or even never fly, and only for short fights. It would probably feed on prey hunted by other carnivores (including younger dragons) and also hunting itself, since they can actually run pretty fast. Dragons are surprisingly good swimmers and some hunt as ambush predators similar to crocodiles. Dragons females are the most fertile during this late stage of life.
