I just finished term 2 of the #finejewellerydiploma @jewellersacademy and I'm so grateful to have been able to get all the projects done, especially because this year has been particularly hard with life getting in the way. . My shoulders are quite messed up right now and I've had severe pain in both of them these last few weeks 😩 I was so worried I wouldn't finish by the deadline but I managed 🎉 . I'm especially happy about having finished this totem pendant from term 1 and I'm quite happy with how it turned out, although I did crack the bottom stone slightly. Fortunately, it doesn't show from afar but up close for grading, I'm sure my tutor will see it 😂 Never mind, because this is how we learn 🥰 . . Okay... getting closer to the end goal!! I managed to do the totem pendant frames...the square one was quite perfect 🥰 the tear drop not too shabby...just need to file/burr a bit more on the inside so the stone futs properly 😅...the oval is a bit meh though. I'll probably have to unsolder and resolder / heat up and move the inner wire because it solder at the end of one of the longer edges so it just won't work 🤦‍♀️ . . On the bright side, the lone collet pendant seems to be very much on the right track so fingers crossed 🤞 it all works out 😁 . . I wanted to live in a Victorian house since I was a litte kid, addicted to Bob Vila shows. They’re dark caves on most days but, particularly on rainy ones. I love it and proclaim “You’re welcome for the ambiance and flattering light” to whomever comes over and dares complain.
So what to do on another blissfully bleary day? Why Anna Wintour-ing around the house wearing rivieres and red lipstick (in my house pants). Love yourself, ladies, I say. Dress up for you.

Yesterday’s failed photo shoot in the freezing cold got me sick again so please excuse today’s not so creative post… Feast your eyes on these lovely Georgian foiled collet-set paste beauties.
