Although I had been on time to pick them up I could see the ordure dripping slowly past my ears if if we didn't make the circuit in time. I tried to propitiate the gods by pointing out that we hadn't moved for about five minutes and at that rate we were going to be lucky if we got to the pits before they ran out the chequered flag. So, yesterday, I remembered to glance at current dramas on BBC Sounds again for the first time in a while, and got a huge and wonderful shock on finding this at the top of the SFF category.

It's a 1971 6 part supernatural series starring Martin Jarvis & Patricia Gallimore. I don't think it's ever been repeated since. At least parts of it were missing for a while, and I had no idea whether the rest of it was extant or not. But I liked the sound of it enough that I bought the novelisation, and it was top of my impossible radio listening wishlist.

Yesterday, I got to listen to Part 1, Part 2 should be broadcast later today!
