Marauders' coffee shop orders:

Remus Lupin:

Just tea. Black, bitter tea. Even tho he is barely awake he will NOT drink coffee cause he worships tea and he will not betray his faith.

James Potter:

Latte with caramel syrup and oat milk. He's lactose intolerant but still wants to treat himself with caramel latte. Also, he's a single mother of three, he needs coffee.

Sirius Black:

Frappe with an amount of sugar that would kill a normal person or americano. There's nothing in between.

Peter Pettigrew:

Just plain coffee with milk. Nothing fancy cause he's buying a cookie/pie that will be his main treat. Coffee is just an addition.

Okay so I'm back (not sure for how long) but I need an answer to this and it amazes me I can't find it on the internet already. Seriously, everyone in the Miracuclass has to be subsisting on caffeine during some days right? How has NOBODY made a list of what their coffee orders would be? How is that NOT a widely available story writing tool?

I'd make it myself but, wouldn't you know it? I have no idea when it comes to coffee. I've even tried googling what stereotypical orders would be and still get nothing that helps... So I'm putting it out here. Further explanation under the cut.

Why do I need the entire class's coffee order? Because it's important in my story. Why am I being so obsessive for a story nobody else but me will ever see? Because if I don't get this exactly right it will completely ruin the scene and drive me insane.

Here's the setup, OC Faybon is in this new world with villain Chat and a very late night Akuma has kept everyone awake. Determined to make an impression on everyone that he's not the same Faybon they remember he got coffee for the class. Cue everyone being shocked at the guy they've all barely spoken to, getting every single one of their coffee orders exactly right, Ms Bustier and Lila included.

Here's my thoughts just based on the (very very) little I know about coffee:

Rose would probably have something naturally sweet but without any additives (Im thinking something with honey maybe?) Due to the fact she's sweet enough already and has health problems.

Juleka? I keep wanting to say a caramel machiato but I have no idea what a machiato is. I only say caramel because it's still sweet but a bit richer. Going for that "darker" tone of hers.... Okay just googled the machiato and I feel like that may fit better for someone like Mylene but I'm leaving that up to you anyway.

Speaking of Mylene I'm imagining hers to be a similar order to Rose (somebody's getting a similar order to Rose because she (or anyone really) needs to bring up that she doesn't take sugar only for someone else to say they do. Hey Faybon's sleep deprived in this too, he got the orders right he's allowed to screw up handing them out.)

I'm thinking Chloe would probably be the one with a frappuccino. What comes before that is anyone's guess.

Sabrina? Either just a regular coffee or maybe a latte?

This is where I start hitting the wall. Miss Bustier's is decaf something since she's pregnant in this world too. Max, Alix or Kim would probably also have a decaf or maybe an iced something? Max because of the whole caffeine isn't good for your brain and Alix and Kim because they're athletes.

I have no idea what Alya or Nino would want. Same with Ivan. Nathaniel may want something sweet as well? And Zoe may also go for either a latte or something simple due to her time in new York. With a splash of honey because she's currently coming off a very bad cold and her throat is killing her.

Lila is given a whole allergenic soy based thing, because Faybon just KNOWS she would pull something, and yet will not say a word when the cup she's given is actually her preferred coffee. Though she will look at Faybon warily.

As for the two heroes? Marinette gets hers early so it doesn't really matter but yes, it is stacked with espresso shots. While Adrien gets something almost as caffeinated but with extra cream. Not necessarily because it's part of his order but because Faybon just finds the idea of it hilarious.

Sasha: Oat mocha with hazelnut

Jean: Flat white…. But secretly probably also wants a hot chocolate

Connie: Would probably order a Frappuccino with as many syrups possible

Levi: Either a medium tea obviously or a LARGE black americano. Possibly with an extra shot. So ~5 shots and the cup is bigger than his head. It’s worrying

Erwin: I’m really stuck on this one I feel like it might be a caramel cappuccino but it might also be a flat white if he’s in a rush

Hange: I once had an 87 year old woman regular who ordered a black coffee with at least 15-20 packets of sugar. I think it might be the secret to living forever. This is Hange’s order now.

what is the parties drink order for coffee? do they like it? hot or iced?

Rorali: I drink pretty much exclusively iced drinks. Iced Caramel Latte or Iced Caramel Macchiato.

Constantin: I spring for a hot medium roast coffee, maybe with a splash of cream. No sugar. Either that or Earl Grey tea.

Yvan: I love a good spiced chai latte with a double espresso shot, HELLA foam, a couple pumps of vanilla syrup and cinnamon/nutmeg on top. HOT!

Bettany: I-I love a hot drip coffee with milk and a little bit of sugar and cinnamon.

Tyyran: I love blended drinks! Anything with coffee is good to be honest. Since I'm an ice dragon, I'm a big fan of all the cold drinks!

Thalassia: Hmm?? what's coffee? I like juice!! sometimes ice in it is nice. :)

DPxDC Dead Tired Coffeeshop Accident

For one reason or another, Danny is now living in Gotham and working in a coffeeshop. For one reason or another, Tim frequents the same coffeeshop.

Now, both of them are honest to god messes who treat sleep like a grave enemy. Meaning they both survive on coffee, spite, energy drinks, and their respective hyperfocuses.

They don't even talk, really, they just see each other from time to time: Tim knows the barista who looks like he's been dead for weeks is named Danny, and Danny knows how to make Tim's Death Wish with his eyes closed, but other than that, they are just strangers who largely don't care about each other.

That is, until one time after his patrol, Tim comes to the said coffeeshop in his Red Robin gear. He doesn't even think about it, he simply needs coffee. He comes to the counter. He orders. His voice is tired and emotionless. He just wants his coffee and maybe stare at a wall for a few hours until his brain reboots. Danny takes his order without even looking at him. He has been sitting and staring at a wall for a few hours, night shifts are literally killing him.

They are both so done.

Red Robin waits for his coffee. Danny makes it almost automatically, his mind elsewhere. The coffeeshop is empty, save for them two. It's four in the morning. Nothing feels real.

Danny sets the cup on the counter.

"One Death Wish for Tim," he says out of a habit, not fully registering they are alone, and he doesn't need to do that.

Tim takes the coffee without thinking, nods a silent 'thank you'. Brings the cup up to his mouth-

And notices a glove on his own hand.

He is in Red Robin get up.

He freezes and looks at the barista, who is cleaning the coffeemachine. Danny, noticing him looking, also looks back at him. Did he make the wrong order? He knows Tim's soul, he's seen it a lot, he couldn't have mistaken him for anyone else, but maybe he forgot to add syrup?..

There's a domino mask on Tim's face. A vigilante domino mask.

They stare at each other. No one moves. No one blinks. The sun is rising somewhere over the city.

Tim takes a sip of his coffee. Danny goes back to cleaning the coffeemachine.

They never speak of this again, but Tim becomes a regular here in both of his personas.

I guess, it really depends on where you go. In Hervas, the coffee and tea shops on The Surface are super overpriced—especially the ones near Ottercysts and in the Mage Quarter. Whereas the shops in The Underground are much cheaper (unless you dress like a Surfacer or have a Surfacer vibe, then you will pay double.)

Most of the shops in The Underground are quieter, and they usually sell more than just coffee or tea. There's a lot of split storefronts and businesses that rent space to locals artisans. The Silken Sun has been known to sell homemade soaps, and Hopestone Deli usually displays some crocheted dolls in the window—courtesy of the owner's son, Malik.

The real fun is in enchanted beverages. On The Surface, magick is used to visually enhance things, but The Underground is all about useful enchantments. If you want coffee that looks like a swirling galaxy, or that will turn your tongue blue, you go to The Surface. If you want coffee served in a cup that's enchanted to stay hot, or tea that will fix your migraine, you go to The Underground.

As for OCs favorite orders, this is tough because I'm not a big coffee drinker. However, I will try my best (starring the Fantastic Hervaskian Four):

Eliott makes their own drinks and prefers tea to coffee, but not in a relaxing way; it's more like a "This better fix me" kinda way. They love the aesthetic of coffee shops, but they don't like paying for things they can make themself. The one thing they will go to the coffee/tea shop for is apple cider. They swear it tastes better, but really they're just too lazy to make it at home, especially after moving to Castle Glass. Acon is a cold brew in the middle of winter kind of guy; no additives expect maybe a dash of vanilla cream. If he's out with someone (like on a date), or it's a special occasion, he'll order a hot coffee, but he values efficiency above all else. His coffee preferences are about getting as much caffeine into his body as quickly as possible. Aisha is the polar opposite of Acon. Caffeine is secondary to vibes. She loves latte art, and she's always looking for something new and interesting to try. She thinks visually exciting, enchanted beverages are super cool and is more likely to enjoy Surface vs. Underground cafes as a result. She also loves sweet drinks and puts an absurd amount of honey in her tea, much to Eliott's chagrin. Lea is a fun little mix of Acon and Aisha. For her, drinking coffee is primarily about needing caffeine, but if it tastes delicious or looks cute, that's a win. She's enjoys pumpkin spice and/or hazelnut lattes with caramel drizzle the most. She probably drank just black coffee before she met Aisha, but she was slowly converted over the course of their relationship. Her vows 100% included: "You make life fun, especially the mundane parts like drinking coffee and doing laundry."

Ok a funny thing. I can't explain it but when I like something to consume, I usually order it all the time. Most of the time people would know what I will eat and drink. I was drinking these two coffee for some time now, I alter them in order so I never drink the same thing two times in a row. I came to this coffee shop again, I ordered my coffee and the barista just.

Stopped.

He literally froze and he looked at me without saying anything. And I looked at him because, ??? Was I too quiet?? Did I said something wrong, sometimes words makes sense in my head but when I try to say them outloud, my tongue betrays me and I say nonsense, did that happened again?? But nope. He said, what do you mean? And I was like, medium size X coffee with soy milk and in a porcelain cup please? He said, not Y coffee???

And I know he just said that because he always interracted me when I am in Y day and he was not working when I ordered X but it was so funny for me how he looked at me SCARED and confused like I just told him the universe's secret and the truth about Eldrich Gods. The silence was so real. Maybe I'll write a story about that, it was such funny interraction.
