i am not immune to marketing gimmicks (<- just bought limited edition cocoa flavor online)
#sasha speaks#they're having a big sale rn to clear out their overstock and leftover limited edition flavors from the past year#nearly everything is sold out already especially most of their flavored blends#but they had a medium roast from an origin i haven't tried before#and the unflavored single origin medium roasts are my favorite! so i ordered a bag for 35% off#plus a bag of my usual favorite...in fairness i also meant to bring some back home with me from my apartment and forgot completely#the other day when i was packing#so having a couple bags of cocoa arriving at home for me in a few days will be a nice treat#it's just roasted and ground cacao beans but you brew it just like coffee#the end product really is a lot like black coffee (bitter and strong lol) but it's quite lovely with a bit of sweetener#i used to take it with some cream but actually now my favorite preparation#is cocoa grounds + big pinch of salt + a few green cardamom pods + just enough maple syrup to make it *barely* sweet#makes a wonderful hot beverage. it's so cozy...#anyway looking forward to that. i hope the new flavor is good. the last limited edition medium roast i tried was fine#but i didn't like it more than their regular ones#unfortunately most of their varieties these days are either dark/french/ultradark (spanish) roasts or they're flavored light roasts#and i don't much go for those. i mean occasionally a flavored light roast#but i find them disappointing more often than not. light roast isn't chocolatey enough for me and the flavors are usually weak or stale#(the strawberry one is good but it's a summer limited ed and it was out of stock already by the time i saw the overstock sale)#and the dark roasts are just too dark for me. i want to taste the cacao bean and origin not just the roast#so the medium roasts are the sweet spot for me. roasted enough to taste really chocolatey and strong#but not so much that they're overwhelming and lose their character#actually weirdly i've noticed recently that on some of their limited ed and flavored blends they aren't listing the roast level.#it's very strange#for the flavoreds i just assume light roast but it's weird when they don't tell you on the package or the online shop page

Alright everyone, I just thought of an awesome BCG AU called Partners in Crime.
It's one where Gloria goes through a villain arc like Chip and ultimately sides with him because of their mutual hatred of Cricket.
In general, the start of the show is the same, with Cricket still having to work at Big Coffee for his debt. However instead of Gloria growing close to Cricket, she gains a hatred of him further when working with him (barely tolerating his presence).
The major start of this AU is in Coffee Quest, where they still need to get the coffee beans.
In it, like usual, Gloria and Chip officially meet. However during the episode, Gloria grows a vengeance toward Cricket, so when Chip offers for her to work with him, she agrees and leaves Cricket for good.
So for the rest of the show, it basically functions the same, although with the future "Gloria episodes", they'd not exist whatsoever, with a few exceptions.
Some examples include:
Level Up, where in the AU, Cricket is the one to talk to Ms. Cho, and she allows Bill to expand his farm to the roof.
Remy is the one to help the Green family boost their sales and their online publicity instead of Gloria.
During season 3, when the Greens are away, Vasquez is set to look after the Green's house in Big City.
There's probably more but these were the ones that I remembered having an effect on the plot.
Another major change is that Chip episodes now have Gloria (or not depending). There may even be some episodes where Gloria and Chip take turns putting their plans in motion to take down the Green family to see who's plans are better when they bicker about it.
In terms of their dynamic. It's like an abridged version of Team Rocket (sort of). Gloria being the one with her fighting skills and being the sharper one of the two, and Chip having his manipulation tactics and business power. They may or may not (not so secretly) like each other too, with the occasional bickering about who's plans are better.
So with this in mind, Chipocalypse may happen sooner (or not depending).
Also this would mean that both Chip and Gloria are present in this scene:
Not to mention that the twisted Chipocalypse intro would have both of them in it.
Now, instead of Gloria helping Cricket and Remy, it'd be some random employee who wants to get back at Chip with his mistreatment and he feels sorry about Cricket's situation and they help them into Chip's office.
This means that both Chip and Gloria take an attempt on Cricket and the Green's family lives together.
Just think of this scene, but with both of them coming to a mutual agreement simultaneously to kill the Greens.
This also means that they're both flung away in the helicopter and that they both fake their deaths to get back at the Green Family.
Sorry if this is long, when I get an idea, I have to get it out there. Hope this all seems coherent enough for all of you to understand.
#god this AU is soo good#I love it#I love AUs that take a different spin on the villains#AUs my beloved#chip and gloria would absolutely be lost in their madness against Cricket#au idea#my au ideas#random fandom stuff#bcg#big city greens#bcg brainrot#bcg au#au#chip whistler#gloria sato#glochip#sort of#bcg partners in crime#this is fanfic material

Paying Attention- Writing Workshop with Betts Week 2
@bettsfic asks to notice three things.
In Nonfiction, write about your day and pull a story out of three things
In Poetry, place three things coming together
In Fiction, the first incites incident, second in the middle, end with third.
Abstract, use a stylistic change, write sentence fragments, no verbs.
NONFICTION
First Thing
The itsy bitsy little white spider, which only comes at night, keeps trying to web my computer. I will not kill it, though I can. I can't. It's trying like I am trying. It isn't harming anyone as I am not harming anyone. I admit, I hope to see it tonight, like an old friend. The first night I don't see it I will wonder where it went, maybe behind the desk to die, maybe it's too busy making love, or perhaps savaged by some bigger little creature. … I didn't see the little white spider tonight. I may have seen its killer who needed to go from one side of the room to the other, which I didn't get in the way of or ask his activities prior to.
How often are life forms harmed for wanting to use something available? But because of their looks or some perceptions, from the haves, to said life forms, the have nots, are denied? Human history says infinite times, though it isn't the way of the inhuman. A simple act of kindness can go a long way is the saying.
Second Thing
The insect that I realized I saw for weeks, maybe months, hanging on the net outside my building, the net is for construction, in the same spot is called a spotted lanternfly. I searched NY1 and found the name on the first go. The city has given all citizens a license to kill… oh James. Was it goading me, of course not. The tree around the building, perhaps my plants if it can reach them, is its target(s). Even absent the net it can't reach my plants… I checked. Of course, it is gone now, and I see each hole in the net, not quite Swiss cheese but aging. Where is that thing? … I went into the kitchen with the sun back in its bed, it's back.
The human community has many in it that speak of equality, or nonviolence, while preaching violence or inequality. The fiscally wealthy or more than average knowledgeable human is supposed to live peacefully or integrated to the fiscally poor or uncommonly ignorant human. But not the fiscally poor or ignorant non-human. The most challenging bias is the one that doesn't deny race while demanding an inescapable utilization of race.
Third Thing
I noticed today how little half and half is put into black coffee in stores, bodegas, delis. Ground coffee beans brewed is pretty strong, a dab of half and half isn't doing much. It isn't effective. Black coffee with half and half means and an off black, not pitch black. I wonder how many times I got my relations Black coffee with half and half and these stores gave me black coffee with a dab of nothing. My chemistry memory says subsaturated.
How often are we cheated in plain sight? How many pennies have stores acquired in selling 99 cent items absent giving a penny back? Is it fiscal prudence to be part of such activity? Does pax or peace financially derive from what irregularities any community allows? Labor from the enslaved? Real estate sales of stolen land? Computer aided financial manipulations at such a grand speed or inhuman speed, the rules of human markets are unimportant, while still touted as essentials? How can people online have millions of followers while only tens of engagements to their post? Cheats in plain sight are as old as humanity. Can humanity mature beyond them?
Story Concept
A deli worker is always cheap with the half in half whenever he makes coffee. One day he is startled by a little itsy bitsy white spider, meaning him no harm, on a web aside the coffee machine, based on the worker's neglect. The worker swipes at the spider, destroying its web, and injures it. The spider seeks to prove its decency to itself and learns, from the insect network, that a killer planthopper has chosen the deli workers home to make a feast. But, the corpses of the Killer Planthopper give off a toxic fume that will kill humans. How will the crippled little white spider make it from the deli to the deli worker's home and cause the killer plant hopper to move on or desist?
Other Things My Attention Noted Later
Some days later I realized something in a dialog side a fellow artist on DeviantArt. The computer programs commonly, while falsely called A.I. (artificial intelligence) don't seem to make fractals or are engineered to make fractals. Fractals are arithmetic equations converted into visual patterns. I find it interesting that the fractal market doesn't seem to be saturated with content from said programs. Plus, I saw some white east Asians celebrating something concerning Buddhism, giving out beads. I didn't even check out what it involved, through a search.

Ryan Cobbins Denver : Navigating the Early Days of Coffee
In the bustling city of Denver, where coffee culture is thriving, Ryan Cobbins stands out as a notable figure in the early days of the specialty coffee scene. With a passion for quality and community, Cobbins has played a pivotal role in shaping how coffee is sourced, brewed, and enjoyed in the Mile High City. This article explores his journey, contributions, and the vibrant coffee culture that has blossomed in Denver.
Early Beginnings in Coffee
Ryan Cobbins’ journey into the world of coffee began not as a barista or roaster, but as a passionate consumer who appreciated the nuances of flavor and the art of brewing. His fascination with coffee was sparked during his college years, where he would often visit local cafes to explore different blends and brewing methods. This initial curiosity soon evolved into a deeper commitment to understanding the coffee industry.
In the early days, Ryan Cobbins Denver noticed a gap in the market for high-quality, ethically sourced coffee. He recognized that many consumers were unaware of the journey their coffee took from farm to cup. Motivated by a desire to educate others and improve the overall coffee experience, Ryan began networking with local coffee producers and roasters to learn about the intricacies of the industry.
Building a Coffee Community
In 2015, Ryan took a significant step forward by founding Cobbins Coffee, a specialty coffee brand dedicated to sourcing exceptional beans and fostering a strong sense of community among coffee lovers. Located in the heart of Denver, Cobbins Coffee quickly became a hub for coffee enthusiasts and a gathering place for those who shared a passion for the beverage.
Ryan’s vision was not just about selling coffee; it was about creating an inclusive space where people could learn, connect, and appreciate the complexities of coffee. He implemented workshops and cupping sessions, allowing customers to engage with coffee in new and meaningful ways. These events became a cornerstone of Cobbins Coffee, helping to cultivate a knowledgeable and enthusiastic customer base.
Sourcing and Sustainability
A significant aspect of Ryan Cobbins Denver philosophy is his commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability. He believes that great coffee starts at the farm, and he prioritizes building relationships with coffee producers who share his values. By sourcing directly from farmers and investing in fair trade practices, Ryan ensures that the growers receive fair compensation for their hard work.
Ryan is also passionate about educating consumers on the importance of sustainability in the coffee industry. Through storytelling and transparency, he highlights the journey of each coffee bean, from its origin to the cup. This approach not only enriches the customer experience but also fosters a sense of responsibility among coffee drinkers, encouraging them to make informed choices.
The Impact of COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges for the coffee industry, impacting cafes, roasters, and consumers alike. Ryan faced these challenges head-on, adapting his business model to meet the changing needs of his customers. He quickly pivoted to online sales, offering subscription services and virtual coffee tastings to keep the community engaged.
Moreover, Ryan used this time to emphasize the importance of mental health and well-being. He initiated programs that provided support and resources for baristas and coffee professionals affected by the pandemic. By fostering a sense of camaraderie during a difficult time, Ryan reinforced the importance of community in the coffee world.
Future Aspirations
Looking ahead, Ryan Cobbins remains dedicated to his mission of elevating the coffee experience in Denver and beyond. He envisions expanding Cobbins Coffee’s reach through partnerships with local businesses and exploring new coffee sourcing regions. Additionally, Ryan aims to launch educational programs that delve deeper into the science of brewing and the art of coffee appreciation.
As the specialty coffee scene continues to grow in Denver, Ryan’s influence will undoubtedly play a significant role in shaping its future. His commitment to quality, sustainability, and community sets a standard that inspires others in the industry to follow suit.
Conclusion
Ryan Cobbins’ journey in the coffee industry exemplifies the spirit of innovation and community that defines Denver’s thriving coffee culture. By prioritizing ethical sourcing, fostering connections, and adapting to challenges, he has established himself as a leader in the field. As he navigates the early days of coffee in Denver, his contributions will leave a lasting impact on the city’s coffee landscape for years to come.

South India’s Favorite Brew Takes Over: Kumbakonam Degree Coffee Franchise Surge in 2024
Kumbakonam Degree Coffee's popularity continues to grow in 2024, cementing its position as a beloved brew throughout South India. Its historic legacy, which is linked to the traditional coffee-making procedure of employing pure cow's milk and robusta coffee beans, has drawn coffee connoisseurs to its particular flavor. The demand for authentic flavor is driving a rapid expansion of franchisees, with both entrepreneurs and coffee enthusiasts looking for chances in this thriving sector.South India is very familiar for its aromatic filter coffee. The filter, used for brewing South Indian Coffee, is of various sizes. This filter includes different parts. The pierced upper container is useful for draining decoction. The lower one is intended for collecting this decoction, a pressing disc and a lid.
Why the Surge?
1.Cultural Connection: Kumbakonam Degree Coffee is steeped in Tamil Nadu traditions, particularly those of the temple town of Kumbakonam. Its link with authenticity and nostalgia appeals to both locals and tourists.
2.Health and Purity: The brand's emphasis on purity—using pure milk and beans obtained from local farms—has gained it a health-conscious following. Consumers are lured to the drink because it is fresh and free of chemicals.
3.Changing Coffee Culture: While multinational coffee companies dominate metropolitan regions, Kumbakonam Degree Coffee embraces local and regional coffee culture. More individuals are choosing artisanal and locally inspired beers over generic ones.
4.Affordability: Kumbakonam Degree Coffee's franchise models need a smaller initial investment than multinational coffee companies, making it an appealing business opportunity, particularly for first-time entrepreneurs.
5.Growing Consumer Demand:South India, particularly Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, has a long-standing coffee tradition. This, combined with an increasing number of younger consumers interested in local flavors, has resulted in a significant increase in demand for coffee shops that serve this beverage.
Key Features of the Franchise Boom in 2024
Franchise Models:Multiple choices, ranging from kiosks to full-scale cafés, are available to suit different budgets, drawing investors of various sizes.
National & International Expansion:While South India remains the primary market, there is substantial interest in growing across India and worldwide, particularly in areas where the South Indian diaspora is large.
Technology & Branding: Franchisees are using digital marketing, social media, and meal delivery apps to reach a larger audience, increasing foot traffic and online sales.
Challenges and Opportunities
The issue is to maintain the authenticity of the brew as cafe franchises grow rapidly. It is critical to ensure quality control across several locations, source components consistently, and differentiate from local competition. However, the brand's strong reputation, large consumer base, and growing interest in traditional Indian beverages provide numerous prospects for success.
Conclusion
The Kumbakonam Degree Coffee franchise boom in 2024 reflects the changing preferences of coffee drinkers in South India and beyond. With a rising desire for local flavors, healthier choices, and a respect for traditional brewing processes, this coffee company is well on its way to becoming a household name in India, with the potential to compete globally. Whether you're a little investor or a seasoned entrepreneur, now is a great coffee shop franchise opportunity to enter the thriving Kumbakonam Degree Coffee market.

Creating a Marketing Management Strategy
Crafting a marketing management strategy is vital in today's competitive landscape. It's about more than just promoting products. It's about aligning your business goals with your marketing efforts to create a coherent plan that drives results.
Setting Goals and Objectives
Clear goals and objectives are the foundation of any successful marketing management strategy. Imagine a small bakery aiming to increase its online sales by 20% in six months. This specific goal helps focus efforts on creating compelling social media campaigns and improving the website through marketing management software.
Developing a Unique Selling Proposition (USP)
A USP differentiates your brand from competitors. Think of a local coffee shop that emphasizes its use of organic, fair-trade beans. This unique angle not only attracts eco-conscious customers but also sets it apart from chain stores.
Choosing Marketing Channels
Selecting the right marketing channels is crucial in a marketing management course. A startup fashion brand might find success on Instagram due to its visual nature and high engagement with fashion enthusiasts. On the other hand, a B2B software company might focus on LinkedIn for its professional audience.

Marketing Strategies for Coffee Cafe Restaurants
Marketing a coffee café restaurant requires a blend of creativity, community engagement, and strategic online presence to stand out in a competitive market. Here are some effective marketing strategies for a coffee café:
Create a Unique Brand Identity Distinct branding: Develop a strong, recognizable logo, color scheme, and brand voice that resonates with your target audience. This should reflect the café’s vibe (e.g., cozy, trendy, eco-friendly). Storytelling: Share your café’s story—why you started it, your passion for coffee, and any unique elements (e.g., sourcing beans, artisanal brewing methods).
Leverage Social Media Instagram: Post high-quality images of your coffee drinks, food, and cozy atmosphere. Use relevant hashtags like #coffeegram, #latteart, and local tags to attract followers. User-generated content: Encourage customers to share their experiences and tag your café. Repost their photos, adding a sense of community and authentic customer testimonials. TikTok: Create short, engaging videos showcasing how your specialty drinks are made, barista skills, or fun, behind-the-scenes moments.
Offer Loyalty Programs Digital loyalty apps: Use apps that allow customers to earn points with each purchase. This can keep customers returning regularly. Offer rewards like a free coffee after a set number of purchases. Punch cards: A simple, physical loyalty card that tracks each visit can also work, especially for local or walk-in customers.
Host Events and Collaborations Community events: Organize coffee tastings, latte art classes, or even open mic nights to engage with your community and attract new visitors. Collaborate with local businesses: Partner with nearby shops, bookstores, or artists to cross-promote each other’s businesses. Display local art for sale in your café or host pop-up shops.
Promote Seasonal and Specialty Items Limited-time offers: Introduce seasonal drinks (e.g., pumpkin spice latte in the fall, cold brew in the summer) to create urgency and attract customers looking for something new. Exclusive menu items: Create signature drinks or dishes only available at your café. Highlight these on social media and in-store to generate buzz.
Engage with the Local Community Sponsor local events: Support community activities like farmers' markets, charity runs, or local festivals by providing coffee or small sponsorships. This can increase brand visibility and goodwill. Local partnerships: Collaborate with local farmers or bakeries to source ingredients. Market these partnerships as part of your café’s commitment to supporting local businesses and offering fresh, high-quality products.
Leverage Online Reviews and Directories Encourage positive reviews: Ask satisfied customers to leave reviews on Google, Yelp, or TripAdvisor. Responding to reviews—both positive and negative—shows engagement and customer care. Optimize for local search: Ensure your café is listed on Google My Business with accurate details (location, hours, menu, etc.). This will help your café appear in local search results when people look for “coffee near me.”
Utilize Email Marketing Build an email list: Offer incentives like a free coffee or discounts for customers who sign up for your newsletter. Send regular updates: Keep your customers informed about new menu items, events, or promotions through email campaigns. Personalize emails for birthdays or anniversaries for a personal touch.
Offer Promotions and Discounts Happy hour deals: Offer discounts on certain drinks or food items during off-peak hours to attract customers. Bundle deals: Combine a coffee and pastry at a discounted price to encourage more spending.
Highlight Sustainability and Ethics Eco-friendly practices: If your café uses sustainable coffee beans, compostable packaging, or eco-friendly practices, make sure to highlight this. It appeals to environmentally conscious customers. Fair-trade coffee: Emphasize the sourcing of fair-trade beans or other ethically sourced ingredients. Use this as a point of differentiation in your marketing.
Create an Inviting Website Mobile-friendly: Ensure your website is optimized for mobile users, especially since many will be searching for directions, hours, or the menu on their phones. Online ordering: If applicable, offer the option for customers to order coffee or food online for pick-up, catering to busy customers who want convenience.
Incentivize Referrals Refer-a-friend programs: Offer customers discounts or a free coffee when they refer a friend who makes a purchase. This can help spread word-of-mouth marketing.
Host Coffee Subscription Services Monthly coffee subscriptions: Offer customers the ability to subscribe for regular deliveries of your café’s coffee beans. Include special blends or exclusive roasts to keep it interesting.
Engage Influencers and Bloggers Local influencers: Invite local food or lifestyle influencers for a complimentary experience at your café. Their reviews and social posts can bring new customers. Coffee bloggers: Partner with coffee bloggers to review your café, highlighting your unique offerings and atmosphere to a wider audience.
By utilizing these marketing strategies, your coffee café can attract more customers, create loyal regulars, and build a strong presence both locally and online.
