I've been thinking about @irgmugurg 's Cold coffe and colder hands detective satan au endlessly for the past few days it's litrly not healthy, so you know I had to draw the pretty boy (although these sketches might as well be Satan in his natural habitat aka reading books but I promise I'll make more detective-inspired stuff once I have more time)

HELLO I'D LIKE TO PITCH A STOZIER IDEA. it's not good or anything but imagine ; stan works at a bookstore and richie comes in to look for a book for bens birthday, he's obvs completely out of his element and he's rly loud bc he's talking to himself (the adhd ya feel) and stan is just like can i help you, and richie falls in love with stan bc boi is he blunt and he comes back every single day to see him

I LOVE THIS IDEA SO MUCH YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW OKAY

Stan works in the bookstore and he loves it. He loves the atmosphere, the smell of new books surrounding him and the fact that he can organize everything the way he wants (his boss let him do whatever he wishes to, when he saw that Stan’s ideas brought more income). This is basically his small heaven.

The only thing he doesn’t like about it are customers. Most often they’re loud, they leave mess and they are rude and obnoxious. There are also really nice people, quiet, the ones that respect workers. And there is third group, people that don’t really fit into stereotypes mentioned before. 

And one of them enters the shop that one summer day and brings with him the “pinch” of chaos that this very moment makes Stan’s brows furrow. His bird sense tingles so he decides to watch the guy.

He looks lost. Yes, that is the best word to describe it and it makes Stan chuckle inside. When the door closes behind, he just looks around him, trying to figure out where exactly he should move. He runs fingers through his thick curls and lets out loud groan earning few looks from people around him. 

Stan wonders for a moment if he should approach him or let him be, but the longer he observes him the more he feels that this guy needs help. He moves from behind the counter and wearing his special smile, he asks “how can I help you, sir?”

The guy, who is now busy reading book titles out loud and speaking to himself things like “no, it’s not it”, “maybe this one?” etc, jumps startled and quickly turns around to face Stan. As soon as his eyes lays on him, he freezes with his mouth open.

Stan is wondering if his eyes are this big because of the situation or if it’s just his glasses.

The whole situation is uncomfortably funny for Stan. Time passes by and no one says anything. For a moment he’s afraid he broke this guy with this stupid question. He clears his throat and repeats his words, trying not to think about the way this guy is looking at him. 

This seems to bring back life into this customer, as he quickly moves his eyes away and says “yeah, sure, I think so.”

“What are you looking for?”

“Ummm, a book.”

“So you’re in the right place, this is bookstore.” Stan couldn’t help himself but be a little mean. This customer doesn’t look like one easily offended and he proves this when a wide smile grows on his face and pats his face with his palm.

“Right, sorry. It’s my friends birthday today and I, of course, left the shopping for the last minute.” he says, looking sheepishly at Stan, making his heart melt a little. 

“Do not worry, my friend. Tell me something, what does he like? I’m sure I will be able to help you choose.” he says, smiling softly. 

“Um, he likes…books.” Is all he receives as an answer and now he can’t control the small laughter that escapes his mouth. 

“Aw fuck, I did it again!” the customer says laughing as well. Then he quickly remembers that his friend (Ben is the name he mentions) told him about few titles about DIY he would love to have in his collection.

Stan guides him to the right section in the store and shows him those. The guy chooses two of them and can’t stop thanking him on their way to the check out. 

After Stan gave him his change and receipt, the customer looks at him with his big eyes and suddenly asks “If I come here next time, will I find you in the art books section?”

This time it’s Stan’s turn to feel broken. He doesn’t know how to react and before he manages to do anything else than raise his eyebrows, the guy is gone.

Fast forward to the next day, Stan still remembers this weird guy and he find those memories really pleasant. They make him smile and that feels good. About half an hour before the shop closes he hears the bell, meaning someone enters and he sees familiar mess of dark locks.

The guy looks around, clearly less lost than the day before and the moment he notices Stan he smiles widely and comes to him. “He really liked them” he says. Stan has never had the situation when the customer came back to thank him, so he just answers “I’m glad.” and kind of wants to go back to his duties.

“I’m Richie, by the way. Richie Tozier.” the guy follows him and Stan has no other option than to answer “I’m Stan.” 

“Thank you so much again, Stan. See you!” and just like that the guy is gone. Stan can’t really comprehend what the hell has just happened, but decides to brush it off.

But the next day he sees him again. He stepped by looking for a good horror story and Stan recommends him the new book by aspiring author Bill Denbrough. 

They engage into a small talk and Stan feels uneasy with the way he enjoys hearing Richie’s voice, even when he throws not funny jokes, and tries not to look too long into Richie’s eyes when he takes his glasses off finally showing how beautiful they are.

The next day, fourth as Stan counted, Richie enters the shop and looks nervous. His hands tremble slightly so he hides them in his pockets and when he says “hi” his voice cracks. Stan wonders for a moment if he should ask if everything is okay, but before he can open his mouth he hears one word.

“Coffee?”

He doesn’t know how to treat this, and how to respond. The first thing that comes to his mind is to just ask “A book? A book about coffee?” and so he does. Richie who up to this moment seemed like he was about to faint any second, lets out heavy breath and smiles weakly. “Yes.” he says and in no time he’s back onto his usual tittle-tattle.

Stan really feels the weird tension between them this day. He isn’t stupid, he knows what this “coffee” was supposed to mean. It has just happened so fast he was stunned. After this no moment feels okay to bring back the topic so they just move to the check out. Richie seems like he wants to say something, but just looks at his feet and says quick “bye”.

On the fifth day Stan catches himself on looking through the window, searching for the familiar locks. He worries that Richie won’t come back and is not happy about the way it makes him feel. He can’t focus on his work, so his coworkers force him to stay behind the counter all day. 

Everytime he hears the doorbell he looks there with hope, but after 6 hours of nothing he almost gives up on waiting. 

He’s so busy with doodling in his notebook, he doesn’t notice the last customer that enters the shop. He hears footsteps approaching him but doesn’t move his head from where it lays on his fist. It takes the guy to clear his throat loudly to finally attract his attention and as soon as he raises his eyes, he feels like the sunshine has been poured into his heart.

He quickly stands up, almost too eagerly, so he clears his throat as well and tries not to smile so wide. Richie greets him and hands him a note, saying his father wants him to buy this. “After you” Stan says, pointing into the right direction. When Richie turns his back on him, Stan quickly takes a pen and scribbles something on the back of the note, and then rushes to his favourite customer.

After they find the right book and Richie pays for it, they stand on the both sides of the counter a little bit awkward. Stan slips the receipt and the note Richie gave him earlier into the book and hands it to Richie. 

When Richie leaves the store he closes his eyes and pats his head with hand, saying “stupid stupid stupid!”. He accidentaly bumps into someone and the book falls from his hands. He quickly crouches to grab it and then he notices the note that fell out of it. 

On the one side there is what he wrote to pretend he has a reason to come to the bookstore.

On the other there is written in the neat hand writing telephone number and one word.

Coffee?

okay, I really hope it didn’t turn out as messy as I’m afraid it did? I think this is closer to badly written fanfiction instead of headcanonns, but this is really the closest I can get to right now and it really helps me to fight my writing block so I think it’s okay? :”D

💜 Take a shower or a bath (Imagine its setting you up to start with a clean slate this will help your mind set relax)

💜 Brush your teeth or Hair ( This will hive you a task to focus on if you need one and cant do anything else)

💜 Drink a glass of water! Or try for half your body weight. ( Being dehydrated can give your headaches and assortment of other issues)

💜 Get some movement in! ( Pinterest, Youtube, and Tiktok have free things to look at if you’re at a loss on what to do like me, theres also going on a walk outside for 10-30 mins)

💜 Read a book ( will help you take your mind off stressful things to let you recoup)

💜 Journal/ Gratitude (Let things go and write things your greatful for. Will help clear your mind and let you have a mood boost. Ex greatful for kitty cuddles in the am or coffe by my window)

💜 Do your hobby (Something to take your mind off whatever you may be dealing with)

💜 Declutter your space (Sometimes your space being messy makes your mindset feel chaotic, straightening your space gives you back a sense of control. Doesnt even have to be your whole space it could be a corner in your room or a set of drawers)

💜 Rest ( You may just need some extra rest try for a quick nap if able or find time to sit and watch your favorite show etc)

💜 Give yourself a task ( If you can’t do anything then pick one teensy little thing like cleaning a mirror, brushing teeth, taking all the cups from your space to the kitchen. This will give you a sense of accomplishment a be a tiny mood boost for you)

Hello my fellow followers (ik theres no one here) today i brought yall another song review and recommendation, the big star of tonight (or today depending on wich time u're reading this), its Humphrey Bogart by my beloved Jeremy Shada.

So okay let do this *claps hands for effect*

This song has such a good vibe, u can feel yourself relaxing to the beat and slowly swaying to the tune. Its the kind of music u hear when u're driving along to the beach coast feeling the wind in your hair, or inside home in a rainy day while reading a cool book, drinking a nice cup of tea (or coffe, although u can also drink bourbon, anyway just drink something).

Or "ha ha ha, sorry guys we're really working, but it's not coming anytime soon :p"

#5 - 4/10/2021

i know im writing this on 4/11 but it's also 1 am and i dont care :D

i woke up some time early morning prolly around 6-7 am and fell back asleep, i had a nice dream; i was maneuvering around some set up stuff which had that vibe of fps maps? and i shot some thing and there was a plot to it but i dont remember it well enough to explain it!

when i woke up again it was sometime between 12 and 1 pm cause i properly got up at 1 which i then did whatever, ate a slice of cold pizza drank some milk and hap some corn chips because healthy food is for losers.

I then sat around for far to long doing basically nothing; i also asked my mom if she wanted to watch the new Falcon and Winter Soldier episode that's up and she said later cause she was writing her book which is pretty sick but i also wanted to watch that episode so.. oh well? it wasnt that annoying im just kind annoyed cause... i can?

my friend complained to me about how Padme Amaidala and Anakin Skywalker from i bet you cant guess which fandom is kind of a bad ship which i fully agree- yes they're young and in love but she's humanitarian and he literally just told you he was a fascist and you still married him??? and she also mentioned that some people dont like Ahsoka Tano which is dumb as balls cause she does basically the exact thing Anakin did except less evil and that's based in misogyny and how men want to control women and blah blah blah... (also Padme's death and birthing of the twins was also dumb as shit so-)

i ate dinner, my friend and I had a discussion on how Clint wasnt handled very well in Endgame and then i ate dinner, we chatted about random stuff i got onto the topic of D&D and sent her some memes form the great lords of tumblr then my mother and i watched the new episode of TFAWS which was pretty legit, im not going to get into it because spoilers but like.. Lemar didnt deserve that :((

uh.. i dont really have anything else to say? i listened to music and mindlessly scrolled some tags and yup thats about it?

Orientation: I’m on the asexual spectrum. I’ve dated girls and boys. Right now I really can’t see myself dating anymore though, it’s like all my curiosity with it has worn out.

Favorite colour: white, brown or gray... But I think it’s white mostly.

Book recommendations: I’m not really knowledgeable about books. Nowadays when I want to read something I turn to fanfiction, mostly. But I’ll always love the hunger games, the millennium trilogy, asoiaf, the aubrey-maturin and jane austen books to pieces but these are so basic in literature world you don’t really need my recommendation to know about it. I think I might help more with manga.

Movie recommendations: Master and Commander for starts because I cannot recommend this enough. Same with Phantom Thread and City of God. If you want to see an artistic representation of some historical figures, I really like Marie Antoinette, Lincoln, and Frida (the first one especially is not really rooted on every truth as I’ve read about it, but this movie is just so delightful). Regarding animation, my favorites are Ratatouille, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Spirited Away, Mary & Max, the Croods, Kung Fu Panda and Corpse Bride. My favorite franchises are Planet of the Apes and Star Trek (2009 and so on). I have a shameful thing for David Fincher movies, like my faves Gone Girl, The Social Network and Fight Club (I can see your eyes roll sjansjna). But I’m mostly a drama hoe. I love drama so much that if I start I just won’t shut up. And Historical. If you join the two you have the most perfect film in history, Pride and Prejudice, based on the greatest romance book of all time jjasbjhsdbjhbjha. I also adore The Butterfly Effect, Gone With the Wind, Inglourious Basterds, Good Will Hunting, Catch Me If You Can, I Robot, Arrival, The Handmaiden (Ah-ga-ssi), 

TV recommendations: I would recommend The Good Place to anyone. Seinfeld, Big Little Lies, Mr. Robot, Westworld, Vikings, Spice & Wolf if you’re not opposed to anime, Ugly Betty, Lucifer, The End of the F***ing world, Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Music recommendations: If you’re up to some brazillian music (the song names are in Italic, the bolds are my favorites), I like Skank very much (check Esquecimento, Noites de um Verão Qualquer, Vou Deixar, Dois Rios, Sutilmente - I would bold all of these). Legião Urbana is an obvious one (Tempo Perdido, Que País é Este, Índios, Faroeste Caboclo), Madagascar Olodum (the Olodum version if my favorite, but the singer from Reflexus has a beatiful voice) Djavan (Eu te Devoro, Flor de Lis, Um Dia Frio), Tim Maia (Gostava Tanto de Você, Sozinho), Chico Buarque (João e Maria, Geni e o Zepelim), Tocando em Frente, Eu Sei, Velha Infância, Meu Erro, O Segundo Sol, O Tempo não Para, Exagerado, Quando Gira o Mundo... These are already too much jnsjanja sorry. But they’re so special to me, it’s like... All my childhood.

I want to live long enough to witness: Stephanie’s answer was so good I’m gonna have to rob a little. Ideally, YES, aliens making contact but also all of humanity’s scientific advancements for all eternity ahaushuas not time travel though, I hope that never happens. Realistically I’m gonna have to also say the enf of asoiaf because it’s just the first thing that comes to my head when I think about my possible very near death. I just love this story so much, I gotta see how it ends.

Weird obsessions: To be fair I don’t think any of my obsessions are weird, but I am very reserved about all of them so it’s hard to discuss about it with anyone. I guess for tumblr standards I could say that I have a ‘weird’ obsession with monsters and aliens a la Guillermo del Toro.

kinda late but...

eyy yall~ so as some of you may know, Altertale’s first anniversary was a few days ago (April 1st). I was planning on doing something, but I got busy and figured I can at least say a few things instead, right? so if you’re interested in abit of sentiment, it’s undercut:

Honestly, I gotta start with a Thank You. The support this AU has gotten over the past year continues to boggles me, and it wouldn’t have gotten this far if it wasn’t for people like you, rooting for me and giving me the inspiration to expand it. A little idea that started out as just a simple answer to an ask suddenly became something much bigger, way bigger than what I was expecting. Next thing I knew, I had tons of people pitching me ideas and encouraging me to take it further because, to my surprise, people were actually into it. And boom, Altertale became an AU. The attention was pretty overwhelming at first I’ll admit, but the more recognition and support it received, the more confident I became in what I was doing. But alas, this is the internet and soon enough, the haters started popping up like meerkats. And man were they salty. Alotta them complained about the most trivial things that all I could really do was laugh and ignore, ya know? I wasn’t gonna let them ruin what me and the supporters of Altertale (that’s you) have helped create. There was much more love for the AU than there was hate, and the love was what I decided to focus more on since then. So yea… it’s been fun. I know I’m not the best at maintaining an AU(s) and I’m not all that great artistic wise, but I don’t regret having tried. I’m just glad so many of you decided to stick around up until now despite my shortcomings, and for those who’ll continue to stick around for what’s to come, whatever that may be. So thank you for all the asks, suggestions, support, fanarts, fanmusic, fanblogs, fananything, it’s been awesome.

And now for a few mentions because I feel these guys have been especially generous to the Altertale community and I just wanna scream-

@tiny-planet-explorer: The one who started it all. In my book, your ask made history. Even if it was just alil thing you asked for April Fools day, you sparked the very creation of the AU, and you should know just how important that is to me. So, thank you!

@coffe-k: Dude. I literally cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done for Altertale. You’re incredibly talented, and the music you’ve created for the AU is beyond amazing. You were the first ever to create music for Altertale (as far as I’m concerned), and after Dynami became a huge hit, I believe it inspired other talented composers to create more music for the AU as well (there’s now enough songs to create an entire Altertale soundtrack!). So kudos for giving the Altertale community some great jams to jam out to and encouraging others to do the same, we appreciate it so much.

@theblogdarii: You’re one of my favorite artists, I absolutely love you’re detailed style. It’s truly shocking how well you pay attention to details, even the little itty bitty one’s even I don’t even remember myself. Like, you don’t understand how much content/AU creators appreciate this, lemme tell ya. Every singe drawing you’ve done for Altertale is on point, and sometimes I wonder if you’re the one behind Altertale, haha! Seriously tho, I honestly appreciate all you’ve done, and I truly look forward to anything else you decide to do.

@puzzlekick: Where do I even start tho? Like, for one thing, you’re another one of my favorite artists and everything you’ve drawn for Altertale has put a huge smile on my face, and with you’re recent Altertale x Prince of Egypt project, I’m at a total loss for words. You’re skills are exemplary and I’m honored as hell that you took you’re time to create something so amazing as a tribute to Altertale and one of my favorite films growing up. You’ve done so well, and I’m extremely grateful for everything you’ve done and may continue to do in the future.

@kittynekkyo: You’re the one who created the Altertale/swap/fell models, yea? You couldn’t begin to imagine just how exciting it was for me to see them all for the first time. I always had a thing for mmd models (I just find them really cool for some reason), and to see the Altertale characters brought to life in such a way was amazing. 

@lifeofcynch: You and your quirky Altertale pics, I freaking love them. You’ve submitted so much to my inbox, that there’s just no way I’ll forget what you’ve done and continue to do.
