Hi again! I'm so so so so sooooo sorry to bother you again, but I was wondering, where would you upload the new art? Like on Tumblr or Twitter or Instagram? and at the time when you replied back to me, I was working on the fic and it actually gave me time to finish the first chapter! Its called "What I Can't Say" By cocopowder on Ao3 (working on the second chapter), and I did end up crediting you in the notes, saying that your art pushed me to write the fic in the first place. okay so one question, how does your motivation not fizz out? how can you consistently keep writing without fizzing out? and so you read some works before you write or something, or is it all natural? I mean I do get random lines of inspo but its mostly random, like really very random. eg: Izuku's heart skipped a beat. Then once again. how do I turn this lil shi- into a chapter opening???? (the frustration rn is high-) I mean I have scenes written out but its mostly from in between the story, and my mind subconsciously slips into writing within my thoughts as well- yeah that's about all (i think-)

My number one secret is KEEP. READING!! And I don’t mean just works on ao3, read published books, poetry, everything that keeps you inspired to write! Right now I’m reading Tress and The Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson, and I just finished The Offing by Benjamin Myers.

I make sure to keep myself in a constant state of inspiration. Taking hikes in gorgeous nature, going to the beach, stuff like that makes me excited to go back and write.

Starting a chapter is sooo hard but here’s a couple of easy ways to get started:

1. Write out a list of what u want to achieve in a chapter. What events?? What emotions?? What state do u want to the characters to be in??

2. An easy way to start is with some sort of statement that serves as a hook to shock or engage the reader. For example for the line you have up there:

Izuku knew he wasn’t the one who had needed heart surgery during the war, but after this, he just might.

I mean.... neither of those sound inherently awful. You’d have to pick the right cereal. Or juice / coco powder ratio. My attitude to food is ‘il try anything once’ so I’m not totally against either of them.

That being said, cereal would be the preferred one I’d try just because idk how well cocopowder dissolves in juice.
