I've dusted off the old "short magwell" alternate mesh for the Police Carbine and cleaned it up to become the new default. I'm also going to try and make a new mesh for the drum mag attachment -- something that looks more modern and streamlined than the vanilla 9mm SMG drum.

Another idea would be to replace the default 9mm SMG stick mag with a pistol mag, to replicate how real pistol-caliber carbines can take Glock mags, then have the drum mag mod for extra capacity. Maybe also change the caliber to .45, to further differentiate it from the Security Carbine.

UPDATE: Here's how it looks with the pistol mag. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. The 10mm Pistol mag was the most modern-looking one I could find.

UPDATE 2: I modified the magazine to give it an extended baseplate. Assuming this is chambered in .45 Auto, that would give the magazine a 13+1 round capacity. I'm going to try and make a Beta CMAG-style drum next, to give it an upgraded capacity of 100 rounds.

Day of D20 2022. Currently covers January 1 to November 25. Each square is a different color assigned to a number on a d20 roll. (Example that my fellow my ttrpg friends will giggle over: rolling a 1 will mean I stitch a brown square). I also roll a D4 to determine which way the screw faces (top, bottom, left, or right) to make it even more chaotic. And yes, that is black thread on black.
