Do not worry, these are actually fossilized clown eggs, you can tell by their opaqueness and prominent lack of goof tissue (I am a practicing Honkologist). It is sad to think these little broodlings never made it out of the ball pit nor lived to sew their animal balloons. But it's also so lucky we have these preserved versions. Knowledge is power

So I know you're supposed to let the mother clown lay and hide her eggs in a ball pit but I've seen a lot of clown breeders putting them in display cases?

Like this, why do they do that? Does it actually serve a purpose or is it just a cruel practice like nose docking?
