I just wanted to do a random doodle of Gadget with young Penny. It's based on the Spy X Family panel I love.

It's not easy juggling a family when you are a newly created cyborg, learning to live again and have a small girl at home.

Ok so I interpreted this prompt as being able to do anything as long as it's Inspector Gadget related so I drew Penny!!!

Tbh...this is compensation for the fact I didn't include her in yesterday's drawing 😔👊

I WASN'T EVEN PLANNING ON DOING TODAY EITHER LOL

ANYWAY- I wanted to draw Penny in some jfashion, so I was debating in between Fairy Kei or Decora, so I put it in a wheel and it picked "Fairy Kei" so-

Also, I wanted to draw Penny in a skirt since she never did in the original series (unless if it was a disguise or something 💀)- idk I just wanted to do something different where it wasn't pants since I thought it would be too easy LMAO

And yes I had fun editing the background and going crazy 😏

OH AND BEFORE I FORGET, I did make a quick concept art sketch of Fairy Kei!Penny, so if anyone's interested in it (even though it's literally not that much and was made just so I had something to reference back to before making the actual drawing 💀), I'll post it 👍

I remember being in multiple fandoms and, every one of them would have a wing au. Like, just the characters, but with wings. It sounds simple, but I was obsessed with them.

Penny is an Athene noctua owl, or a ‘Little Owl’

G2 was easy, she was made to be walking police propaganda and what bird to better represent that then the American bald eagle.

Fun fact, the bald eagle scream we hear all the time in media is actually the call of a red tailed hawk. A real eagle sounds more like a squeaky toy.

I will say that I am okay with Gadget being more 'robotic' in the reboot.

The first episode they seemed to wanted to go that route of him just being so blank and robotic.

He just stares forward until his name is called then he turns to blankly stare at the person who called him. Penny just seems so okay with the fact she has to reboot her own uncle up and that he's not himself anymore.
