So I was hoping I would be able to write some of my gothic romance dreamling! AU so I could share it with you all but alas...no time! adult life is cruel like that BUT I do have a couple of drawings so here:

Both of this are mostly done ( specially Dream's that one just needs a few details here and there) I've been using both of this as testing grounds for some cool color + lighting so I might be able to finish this under the guise of practice this week but we'll see.

I end up learning a lot of minor trivia when I write because I’ll go to double check a character detail or location detail and then get absorbed in the wiki. In terms of non fandom specfic knowledge though… off hand?

Well fun fact! In the earliest iteration of Amy, she was half Eevee and had eeveelution powers! Although that hasn't been a part of her lore for years, its still nice to look back on heh.

Amy carries around a small dragonite plush she's had since childhood for comfort and relief of homesickness. The main reason she's mostly kept it a secret is because she's just super embarrassed heh (the only person who knows bout it is Ash)

Wilbur takes a breath, looking up at the slightly cloudy night sky. “I’m tired. I might just go to bed.”

“Oh, you’re such a millennial, freaking-“ Tommy looks down at his feet as he mutters. “Okay. Okay, fine. You’ll go to bed.” He looks up. “But what about me?”

“What about you? You can do what you want, man. Go to a pub or something, I don’t know.”

Tommy wrinkles his face in disgust. “I don’t want to.”

Wilbur turns to look at Tommy, leveling his eyes. “You want something. What do you want?”

Ranboo stays quiet for a few strange, long seconds. “I didn’t even know you had a brother."

Wilbur’s lips tighten. “It’s complicated. A long, long story.” He gestures with his spatula, sweeping it across the air like a torch, and Ranboo chuckles breathily.

“I understand. I think… most people have their long, complicated stories."

Ghostbur gently kicks a fallen nut with the tip of his shoe. “I like to take walks. They help keep my head quiet."

“Keep your head quiet?” Tommy blinks. “What does that mean?"

Ghostbur doesn’t answer for several seconds. He kicks the little nut again. “Hey Jude, don’t make it bad."

Tommy sighs at the sound of singing. “You didn’t answer me."

“Take a sad song, and make it better."

Tommy watches his brother, and he is still a bit angry at him. And he wishes that he wasn’t. He doesn’t want to be angry.

But he doesn’t take his hand away from Ghostbur’s. That means something, doesn’t it? That means the anger isn’t everything.

As they both walk up the few steps into their yard, one voice becomes two, and then they’re both singing, and it’s quiet and very soft but they know all the words, and it sounds a little bit right.

And maybe this means that things will be alright. Maybe this means that tonight won’t happen again.

“And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain. Don’t carry the world upon your shoulders."

whats the gathering of cloudy days au about? it looks cool

It's an AU more or less inspired by another game called BlazBlue. I'm not well versed enough to say much on it since it's been years and my memory's all but faded, but it involves possibilities being observed and sometimes brought into reality.

There's some videos on YouTube that could help with explaining, tho I kinda threw all the lore into a blender when making the AU so Idk how helpful it would be, but it's interesting nonetheless

Anyway, onto the actual AU!

The story is ultimately about trying to take back control of your own fate

Deep within the Abyss, which is the space between realities and time, Istaroth dreams

Teyvat had been destroyed in a calamity, but fate had been rewritten by Istaroth, who now weaves the Loom of Fate, and now the world is trapped in a time loop in an attempt to preserve it.

Venti was made with a piece of Istaroth's soul, subsequently gaining the ability to perceive possibilities and make them real, as well as see some of the other timelines that were abandoned by her.

Still, despite reality being rewritten to remove the true calamity that happened, another struck some years after the time loop's beginning, with Khaenri'ah as ground zero

The loop cycles through a period of 500 years, always ending at the time Venti is always fated to die and causes another calamity to occur

There are little changes here and there caused by other people that can make small possibilities real, called Observers (which include but aren't limited to: the other archons except Ei and Focalors, Mona, Shenhe, Bennett, Paimon, Baizhu, etc.) but no one could change the overall fate

That is, until the Traveller Twins arrive, who are beings outside of the world's reason and thus immune to the confines of fate.

The entire AU basically consists of people trying to get Istaroth to come out of the Abyss

This is a basic summary, but I would gladly talk about more details on it!

I actually made this after playing around with the concept of Venti as a Murakumo Unit (which are called Ad Oblivione in the AU) hence the whole "gather" and "clouds" thing in the name
