It is 2089, and in this fictionalized version of the world, technology has taken a massive boom. A highly advanced information system, known as the Central Operating System, or ctOS, was developed by a company that rose to popularity with their technological advancements. The core of many cities around the world, ctOS often operates subway lines, traffic lights, surveillance, service robots, even your phone lines. The benefits have clouded the vision of the masses, blinding them to the corruption going on behind the scenes. Their information being sold, their every move monitored, kept in databases for nefarious uses. None of this, of course, is told to the users of ctOS technology. It’s simply a tool to make their daily lives easier! Behind the scenes, a new side is growing. Multiple individuals and groups of hackers, anarchists, and techies are learning of the dangers of ctOS. They despise what it stands for, and are looking to take down ctOS, and everyone responsible for its creation.
Our characters will be members of one of these groups, their motivations for why solely their own. Together, they will assist in the demolishing of ctOS, while also navigating their relationship together.
This rp will take place on discord. As stated above, it will contain some heavy themes. Development of plot and the relationship between our two characters (and any future characters we may decide to add) will be at the forefront of it. If interested, please leave a like! The show virtually connected over 300 online participants from across India, including major stakeholders of India’s technology ecosystem such as government think-tanks, technology experts and leading technology solution providers.
The virtual conference explored sectors of critical infrastructure where Digital Transformation can help the nation boost economic competitiveness with the region’s top technology leaders and the global technology fraternity.
One of the top technology leaders and speakers who joined the conversation was Ranganath Sadasiva, Chief Technology Officer, Hybrid IT, HPE. Ranganath is responsible for bringing in thought leadership across HPE’s Hybrid IT business and delivering the best-in-class technology experience for customers.
He enlightened the audience through the technical session on ‘Fuelling edge to cloud Digital Transformation with Hewlett Packard Enterprise.’
His presentation covered the macro trends leading to accelerated Digital Transformation and Digital Technologies enabling this transition. He spoke of ‘HPE Ezmeral software’ portfolio that enables the transformation of apps, data, and operations by running modern containerized applications and optimally manage their environments from infrastructure up the stack, allowing customers to harness data and turn it into insights with enterprise-grade security, and cost and compliance visibility.
While talking about HPE’s latest announcements, he spoke of how it was time to reimagine Data Management and how this will be a game-changer. HPE’s vision of Unified DataOps empowers customers to break down the silos and complexity to accelerate data-driven transformation. He introduced the audience to their new offerings called Data Storage Cloud Central – a Unified cloud data services and HPE Alletra - cloud-native data infrastructure.
While talking about HPE’s new Compute Launch for the data-driven transformation, he stated, "HPE essentially focuses on workloads that prevail in the marketplace today and ensure that it delivers the right kind of compute resources for everything as a service." He concluded the keynote by stating that, “It is your data, it is your agility, it is your innovation, and we will ensure that you unleash it till the last".
He was also a part of an interesting panel discussion about 'How SDX enables Digital Transformation' where the panellists discussed how the rising customer expectations and global trends are forcing shifts in computing, storage, security, and networking; and how the evolution of the cloud is fuelling the software-defined revolution and driving the need for next-gen, “cloud-first” infrastructures and much more. He remarked “Software-Defined help’s deliver SCALE + AGILE = SCAGILE enterprises”

Robust governance is essential to mitigate AI risks and maintain responsible systems, but the majority of firms are yet to implement a framework.
Commissioned by Prove AI and conducted by Zogby Analytics, the report polled over 600 CEOs, CIOs, and CTOs from large companies across the US, UK, and Germany. The findings show that 96% of organisations are already utilising AI to support business operations, with the same percentage planning to increase their AI budgets in the coming year.
The primary motivations for AI investment include increasing productivity (82%), improving operational efficiency (73%), enhancing decision-making (65%), and achieving cost savings (60%). The most common AI use cases reported were customer service and support, predictive analytics, and marketing and ad optimisation.
Despite the surge in AI investments, business leaders are acutely aware of the additional risk exposure that AI brings to their organisations. Data integrity and security emerged as the biggest deterrents to implementing new AI solutions.
Executives also reported encountering various AI performance issues, including:
Data quality issues (e.g., inconsistencies or inaccuracies): 41%
Bias detection and mitigation challenges in AI algorithms, leading to unfair or discriminatory outcomes: 37%
Difficulty in quantifying and measuring the return on investment (ROI) of AI initiatives: 28%
While 95% of respondents expressed confidence in their organisation’s current AI risk management practices, the report revealed a significant gap in AI governance implementation.
Only 5% of executives reported that their organisation has implemented any AI governance framework. However, 82% stated that implementing AI governance solutions is a somewhat or extremely pressing priority, with 85% planning to implement such solutions by summer 2025.
The report also found that 82% of participants support an AI governance executive order to provide stronger oversight. Additionally, 65% expressed concern about IP infringement and data security.
Mrinal Manohar, CEO of Prove AI, commented: “Executives are making themselves clear: AI’s long-term efficacy, including providing a meaningful return on the massive investments organisations are currently making, is contingent on their ability to develop and refine comprehensive AI governance strategies.
“The wave of AI-focused legislation going into effect around the world is only increasing the urgency; for the current wave of innovation to continue responsibly, we need to implement clearer guardrails to manage and monitor the data informing AI systems.”
As global regulations like the EU AI Act loom on the horizon, the report underscores the importance of de-risking AI and the work that still needs to be done. Implementing and optimising dedicated AI governance strategies has emerged as a top priority for businesses looking to harness the power of AI while mitigating associated risks.
The findings of this report serve as a wake-up call for organisations to prioritise AI governance as they continue to invest in and deploy AI technologies. Responsible implementation and robust governance frameworks will be key to unlocking the full potential of AI while maintaining trust and compliance.
