You weren’t loyal to me.

Oh, but they were. That’s why they never questioned you, they know how loyal you are, how you pride yourself in that, and never thought you’d actually leave. That’s why they never went after you, they just couldn’t believe you’d really left, left them, they didn’t know how to search for somebody who made it clear he didn’t want to be found. They were loyal, they just never expected you not to be.

I was one of you.

They know. They remember, and how couldn’t they, when they are not the same without you, they don’t see things the way they did with you standing next to them. They lost their balance the day they lost you, there is an empty space now where you once were and it’s just not the same anymore, not without you.

You still are. A brother, a friend. You are standing in front of them, and they’d take you back in a second, you need only ask.

You may have forgotten, but I haven’t.

Believe it, they can’t either. They just can’t wrap their minds around the fact that you’re not there anymore, that you chose to leave them, after everything you’ve been through together. They never looked for you because they didn’t know it was possible you didn’t want them anymore. They thought you’d forgotten, they never could.

And it’s why I’m going to give you what you never gave me: a chance.

They never gave you a chance because they didn’t think you needed it. They would never presume you’d wanted it, that you were ever even thinking of betraying them, that you needed something else other than them, than what you had together. They gave you a chance, don’t ignore it. They’re giving it now too. They’re here, aren’t they?

But you’re too proud, too stubborn, too insecure. How could they want you when you left? You can’t admit the mistake you made because you don’t think they’ll forgive you, and what then? You’d have lost your purpose, you’d be left alone, again. The kind of loneliness you never knew existed, the one you felt for the first time when you left them, only it would be worse because you’d know they don’t want you back this time.

You can’t bear to hear their refusal, which is why you prefer to have this on your own terms, you won’t beg, you want them to beg. Beg to join you, beg for you to come back.

Just a bit more, and maybe you’ll yield.

You want to feel that they’d missed you, and to be able to have someone watch your back again, someone to care enough for you to risk defending you. You weren’t made to be on your own, not like this, and you know it.

Are all the clone Lorres like That (tm)? Depends on what you consider normal! Laszlo certainly thinks he’s the most well-adjusted of the lot, but that’s only if you measure your success in money and not in pet crocodiles

Hunter and Crosshair remind me of something but i cant place it (maybe they remind me of myself...)

For me they grew up especially close as young kids, obviously the batch was always close but i can just see them attached by the hip all their not very long childhood long, partially because hunter always was the leader, partially because Crosshair was not very fond of other clones even.

Also; i feel like crosshair never quite fitted in, when i first watched clone wars with my sister she thought he wasnt even a clone, a nice unique thought at first but then again, wouldnt he like to fit in? Be like his million perfect brothers? He acts self-confident but is he?

And i guess, even in his batch he didnt feel like he belonged 100%, his big brother hunter was there but something missed, still crosshair took great importance to hunter (obviously never admitting it)

And then hunter left with that random kid. His closest friend, his brother had left him behind. He didnt want to kill them but he wanted them to be on his side and he thought he would atleast fit into the empire, that the empire was the missing thing.

Why did they give asajj ventress a backstory but none for captain rex? Is his backstory and too dark or too boring to show? He said experience outranks everything like a lot of his brothers died early on:(

the way they naturally fall into eachother's roles when the other isn't there.

the instinctual head-tilt when Crosshair stabilized his rifle on Tech's shoulder, as if they'd done it a thousand times before.

It's the fact that Tech clearly told Phee all about his brother.

It's the sad, fond smile on Crosshair's face when Omega said Tech made her memorize all the plans ("of course he did").

It's the way Tech knew exactly where to look for that mirror.

So, maybe Danny should have been more specific when he said he wanted to get reincarnated, because this? Is not an ideal situation. 

See he’s fine with being a clone, really, but uh, apparently the scientists want to terminate him- which, like dude, he’s not even melting or actively dying! So what if he failed at their tests, his body is three, give him a break! 

Well, at least it’s given him certainty in getting out, because these are Not good people. He wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and- hold up, another clone? Brother? Two brothers? One aged up, one in the middle of it- since his own aging-up failed past three? 

Oh hell no, they can’t experiment on his brothers, those are his brothers and living people just as much as he is! Time to break out- and he’s taking those papers thank you- and gonna’ grab his… he’s gonna’ call them his triplets because they’re the same age, just aged differently. 

Now hold his hand, they’re runnin’ to the mountai- oh thank fuck, the physically-oldest of them can fly. To the mountains while they have the cover of night and they can figure things out. At least his life isn’t boring yet…

Thinking about the clones after the war, not having actual last names and some coming up with ones to go by. What’s cute is that anyone a clone ends up marrying they’d just take that last name. Cody Kenobi, Bly Secura, cute stuff like that. Maybe some even adopt the name of their generals as a sign of honor, then there are ones that try to make one’s up
