It always struck me, how Adam almost obsessively clung to his titles. The first man, the first soul in Heaven, the leader of the exorcists... It's like his whole identity is constructed around them.

That's another reason, why I love sinner Adam stories so much.

Getting stripped of all these titles and falling to Hell, where no one even cares that he's the first man, probably would be one of the hardest but also one of the healthiest experiences for him. Maybe that would give him a chance to rebuild his identity, not as an idealized, legendary figure, but as a person.

I did say I was going to take it easier with the upload tempo, but this chapter came out in one go so here you are. It's our favourite creepy surgeon and his latest obsession - slasher movies! Or at least, the early 20th century equivalent of that. Fair warning, there's some body horror and some explicit descriptions of torture, but it's all hypothetical in a sense of 'haha, just joking, ...unless?'
