Sadly I had a poly monster ball cleo, so she needed a reroot. I think she looks gorgeous with blonde, and I love the chunky brown highlights, very delancey from my scene core.

the blonde hair is actually from a sleepover cloe I rerooted, I'm really glad I was able to reuse the hair!

I finally finished all the re-designs for my super hero kids! I first started making these guys about 16 years with my best friend. A lot has changed over the years, but the "core" concept of the characters was always there. The things I've updated genuinely feel RIGHT, like this is who the characters were always supposed to be.

In the first image, left to right; Lisa, Bobby, Ella, Deke, Rodney, Cloe, Min.

Lisa's powers are enhanced strength/durability, flight, and the ability to control/conjure flames. Bobby initially thinks he only has powers after stopping an experiment that was trying to recreate what Lisa can do, thus giving him similar abilities (his REAL power is being able to absorb energy, and that lets him copy other powers), no flight and less of a strength-boost, but he can also conjure/create fire. Ella can control metal, moving it, liquefying and reforming it, and manipulating magnetic fields. Deke has nature powers, connected to plants and flowers (making them move or rapidly grow). Rodney creates solid forms of colorful glowing light, using it as shields for defense, or an energy blast as an attack. Cloe is, basically, a witch with magical powers, but she is also capable of telepathy. Min has music/sound themed abilities, she can let out a scream so loud it creates a sonic-boom, but she can also literally sing a song that influences reality (literally like a musical, and it gets stronger when other people join in), as well as being able to identify/mimic any sound or voice.

The basic plot of their story is two groups of kids start developing super powers, and naturally want to start being heroes and villains about it (though, the "villain" kids aren't "evil", just little jerks/brats/punks who have some angst to work through). In the larger scheme of things, there is a lot of insidious background problems the kids slowly become aware of, and they all start working together to deal with it (a slow realization that the world they live in, while seemingly "normal", is actually recovered from some kind of post-apocalyptic event, and the concept that "heroes" have been used as tools or weapons in the past becomes clear. it is an unfair responsibility, but the kids are determined to change the system that the adults around them use to destroy each other... also, they have plenty of fun shenanigans, too. these are kids with super powers after all~)

Ok so I don't actually have anything I feel like talking about doll wise atm, I prefer making one off posts here n there about the dolls I'm into on twt more than tumblr cause I feel like twt is better suited for one off thoughts while tumblr is better suited for dedicated n thought out posts, at least with how I use it. Which is why you see a lot more wips/shitposts from me on twt than tumblr. so instead I'll just show yall my current collection!!! ANYWAY long ass post time

I've been working on finding and filling out various release lines from different doll brands im fixated on and have been rearranging my collection set up a lot cause of it lol. My shit is scattered all around my room because of how me and my little brother have divided up space for us to display both of our separate collections of things (we are both autistic and insane about our special interests) so there's gonna be a lot of photos lol

TO BEGIN: here's my display case of all my old g1 Monster High dolls I managed to hold onto since I was a kid! I got all of these back when MH initially debuted (when I was around 8 or 9) and all of these dolls have survived through my childhood/teenage years, hence why they're not in super great shape unfortunately lol

the only exceptions to this being the Día de Muertos Howliday Skelita, since obvs that's a recent release, as well as the misc. dolls I have scattered around the top of the case, those are dolls that s0uless has gifted to me over the past 2 years teehee

Moving on, to my current collection of dolls I began purchasing for myself over the past year: starting with this set of shelves next to my bed! I'm mainly using this as my Bratz shelf, but I ran out of room to fit my Skultimate Secrets Fearidescent Dolls where I usually keep my Monster High dolls, so they're there for now.

I only have Jade's reproduction doll because when the Bratz reproductions first began releasing, I was being strict with myself about not indulging in dolls again so I only let myself get Jade since shes my fav. Which I'm sad about, cause I'd love to have all the girls together for both their 20th anniversary reproduction dolls and their Alwayz dolls together. Also, there's a spot left empty next to my Alwayz Cloe bc I have Not been able to find Alwayz Sasha in stores like ANYWHERE for the past 2 months, so I gave up and ordered her online. She'll be arriving here in a couple days!!

Next up is this series of shelves above my dresser that I mainly use to display misc. figures n other shit I've come to own since I was like 12 (you can tell bc of the MHA stuff lmao) but I recently cleared some space so I could fit my Skultimate Secrets Series 1 Dolls (and Spa Day Lagoona + Scare-adise Frankie and Draculaura) somewhere, as well as having a place to display my current set of LOL OMG dolls! And also Bank art doll cameo lmao

Then we have the top shelf of my desk, which mostly has various Knicks knacks compacted into a corner but I put my two LOL OMG Tweens together there, as well as my single Licca doll that s0uless got me for this past christmas and the custom doll they made of my sona for me! <3

(fun fact me and s0uless are currently in the process of making more custom dolls of Eb, Bank, and the triplets but you'll have to wait n see on that one hehe)

And finally for dolls, here's my desk setup, where I display my main Monster High dolls! I mostly just display each Signature Doll + Their Core Refreshes here, but Monsterball Draculaura didn't have space anywhere else so she gets to chill there too lmao

andddd adding this to the Bad Girls Club history book!! In the middle of Bad Girls Club’s newest hit “Like Crazy!” hitting the charts, they took the stages of fictious core, during their first ever 2024 award show. While this is exciting to hear, the iconic performance they provided left both fans and anti’s feeling a similar distaste. Known for their stellar performances, it was unfortunate to watch this TRAINWRECK of a performance unfold. They started off strong performing their controversial but deliciously produced track “Fire In The Hole” the song being performed was already a hot topic in and of itself! The slight mishap of Tiara’s ring getting stuck on Megan’s skirt takes place early on, she saved it quickly but many fans noticed her struggle.

I forgot to mention there was more than one slight mishap! As soon as Cloe begins to sing her lines whoops! someone’s foot was right in front of hers. The girl stumbles as she continued on but it gets better! Later she returned the favor, placing her foot closer to fellow member Taehee than it should be! This banter continued on throughout both “Fire In The Hole” and “Like Crazy!” between Cloe, Taehee, and Erena. But it gets better! Sanghee mid-song, breaks her mic. How the girl did it? It’s still unknown, but boy did she look pissed. The cherry on top, when the lights dimmed out as they took their final spots, Sanghee shoved Megan away from her!

Though messy and unprofessional, many fans seemed to poke fun at it rather than show genuine anger towards them. Others said they didn’t even deserve to take the stage or be nominated for an award. Cloe later mentioned it on an Instagram live, stating “Don’t purposely trip someone mid-performance if you don’t want to get tripped yourself.” With a shrug, it’s seen as direct shade to fellow member Taehee. The two have been seen avoiding each other since!

i took inspiration from the general aesthetic we have of the core four as well as their fun facts over the years and tried to modernize it!

cloe. with a nickname like angel, i’ve imagined her being feminine. cloe tends to wear the most pinks out of the core four and the designer describes her as “bit sweeter, softer” so it only makes sense for her to be the 21st century clean girl, reclaiming her girlhood while listening to gracie abrams.

yasmin. though it’s never specified, yasmin is believed to be middle eastern and latina. i envision her being into the whimsical bohemian aspects that could align with both of those cultures. her wardrobe calls back on the trends of past decades making for the ultimate thrifter and knowing exactly what to look for when browsing on depop.

jade. stunting a rebellious and edgy style, i’ve always seen jade as the definitive girl with a passion for fashion. her style draws from chinese and japanese traditions with a bit of rock and roll flare. after all, she is the editor of bratz magazine but in the social media age, a patreon or blog.

sasha. mixing streetwear with chic, it only makes sense that bunny boo would be inspired by r&b and hip hop girls. i could see aaliyah being her idol musically and stylistically. sasha leans into the neo soul lifestyle of the 90s with a 2024 twist by pairing old looks with the hottest modern urban brands like diesel, chrome hearts and stussy.

i am at the looking-at-dolls-as-self-soothing part of the night. i definitely wanna beef up my bratz collection since unboxing my alwayz bratz yasmin was just like... oh... oh man... and... and i didn't think it'd be like that for me man i didn't think i had as much nostalgia for bratz as i actually do not just buy owning some but by touching them and playing w their clothes and their hair.

and one of my issues of course is that i'm a redhead and as a redhead my Default Lookalike Doll is meygan (not that having a doll that looks like you is the most important part of bratz, but it is so much of the fun right? the fact that there's a character out there for just about everyone?). and i like meygan as a character well enough, that's not the issue. but of the meygan dolls that have been reproduced, there's none of them that are like, hardcore needs for me except for sweetheart meygan. and i did not buy sweetheart meygan in time. i was not really collecting at that point. that was like 2022. i had a few... na na na surprise dolls at that time. which is funny bc i have four of those that i got all either on clearance or w giftcards and i do really like them even though a lot of doll collectors thought they were kinda dumb, and they were. i just liked the gimmick of the fabric bodies and there were just enough dolls i thought were really cute that i kinda caved at one point. i also knew it was a brand i wouldn't go overboard with. anyway. we were talking about meygan...

sorry meygan back to you girl. i know original 2000s bratz that have not yet been reproduced at crazy expensive on the secondhand market and it's genuinely out of control. but sweet heart meygan, both the repro and the original, are selling for triple digits on mercari, ebay, what have you. that's just ridiculous. frankly. i'm not buying her at that. i don't even like her enough to hunt for her regularly, if that's how it's gonna be. there are plenty of more readily-available bratz dolls that are either regular retail price or clearancing online andin stores. did you guys know alwayz bratz jade is going for 15 bucks on amazon right now? that's crazy. the other always bratz dolls aren't going for that low if they're even marked down yet. that release wasn't even that long ago. anyway i'm thinking of getting jade from that line bc i know some ppl thought that alwayz jade was a let-down, but i thought she was cute. yasmin was my favorite from that line and that's why i got her but jade was my second fave there easily.

i also wanna get the kumi they reproduced sometime and maybe girls nite out cloe since i see she's still available. it's funny there aren't that many core girls i've wanted from the repros but if i go for any of the cloes, new or old, it's gotta be girls nite out. cloe isn't even usually my favorite character no offense blondes she's just kinda. she's just kinda cloe to me. idk i love her but i'm not gagged over her most of the time. these are still bratz standardz we're talking about here so obviously i love her.

there's nothing going on in the world right now other than my bratz dolls. and if someone we won't mention wins the election, i'm definitely going doll crazy. i'm gonna be buying dolls after this anyway, but i'm gonna justify spending an unusual, nearly-irresponsible amount of money. you know. bc i'm an adult and i can.

hey also and of all the lines they could've reproduced why is their most recent slumber party? why? why? when the poll posted by mga had tokyo a go go WINNING? bc tokyo a go go is the correct option? i mean the slumber party line is cute and i like the base dolls and the accessories especially the stuffed animals are cute. but. everyone knows the bratz audience these days is adult collectors. which adult collectors are losing their minds over dolls in pajamas and bathrobes? again they're CUTE. but why. also why did they reproduce bratz babyz when those things were nightmare fuel

my favorite bratz of the cour four is jade !! my favorite core four doll oohhhhh thats a tough one, it's gotta flashback fever jade or independance (spelled that way) cloe, and the entire rock angelz line which i will truly never shut up about because the movie, soundtrack, and dolls fundamentally changed me as a person

for the non cour four girlies, my fave is roxxi but meygan is a close second !! and my fave not main girls are (and get ready bc there's a list), nighty nite fianna (UGHHHHHHHHH MY DREAM DOLL), live in concert dana, wintertime wonderland dana, ROCK ANGELZ ROXXI (i have the repro but i want the og with the hat and belly tattoo so bad, so expensive tho), sweetheart dana, sunkissed summer dana (i have her, grad gift too myself)

i'm ngl the side characters kinda ate up the main girls sometimes... but at the end of they day i love them all, they're so dear to me !!

It’s hard to fall asleep, after having witnessed the Inferno and having believed herself dead. The experience had shaken her to the core and has led her to reevaluate how she has been approaching her relationships and duties. Her not-quite friendship not-quite anything else with Komos counts itself amidst them. Cloe can’t forget the almost kiss, can’t forget the regret that had followed once she had thought herself dead. She doesn’t know how she would have reacted if he had kissed her, too worried about everything to cross the boundaries that she had drawn, but —  Well. She had thought she died, and that changes one’s perspective. She had seen his looks, and the almost kiss is enough to make her realize that at the very least he is attracted to her. It’s not what she wants, not fully, but with every conversation she thinks is more and more unlikely she will fall in love with her like she had done with him, so maybe it’s time to take what she can get.

Cloe taking yet another walk to clear her thoughts, when she senses just the person she is thinking about. She hasn’t seen Komos since the almost kiss, and part of her needs to reassure herself that he is alright, so her steps take her on his direction before she even realizes, a hand reaching out to grab his wrist when she finally gets close. “Komos,” she calls, eyes flickering over his form. “Are you alright? Did you get out of the labyrinth alright?”
