Clockwork was in the middle of mentoring Danny about his Duty as High King leading him by his shoulders before he felt a awful core wrenching pain before he quite literally pulled through the afterlife and back into the living. Pt 1
Now Clockwork haven't been alive for an awful Long Long time since he was beaten and killed by his Children during his madness phase, so suddenly awakening in a sacrificial alter, the feeling of gravity weighing him down, eyes blurring, ears ringing with a loud noise that kept going badump ba dump as he was experiencing what possible the worst tremendous sensitivity overload of being brought back from the very dead and into brand new mortal flesh.
The Justice League and dark Justice were in the middle of stopping the forbidden ritual from some crazed Cultists who somehow found the skull, some of wonder women's blood, ancient artifacts of time belonging Kronos could only stood frozen in shock to see in horror and a bit of mesmerized fascination.
As the skull began to glow a ominous greenish blue glow of Magic form by blood then bones, muscle then flesh with very very long blonde hair that kept going down while the rest began quickly making a neck, a chest, arms, and the rest of the remaining of the naked body.
What the cultists didn't expect at all was Kronos's new body was a women due to the misread of a certain someone who thought the blood of the main head descendants of Greek meant wonder women and not a male descendants. Along with a much more different oopsy was the gasping little naked toddler that was looking wide eyed gasping heavily at the suddenly drag along as he being held tightly by the now Female Kronos's arms.

Retired hero Danny
Danny has saved the world more time than he could count and they would never know. He didn’t care
Ancients! He preferred it.
He retired from being a hero when the Justice league came into the picture. Ever since he was crowned the ghosts don’t really threaten humanity anymore so he’s more than happy to leave the non ghost threats to earth get handled by the Justice league
He runs a repair shop in amity park, he’ll fix anything and everything at affordable pricing
The only member of the Justice league that knows about Danny is Diana. She didn’t know about him until some enemy trying to summon chronos succeeds and she gets frozen in time
Luckily clockwork has mellowed out over the years and takes this time to tell her how proud he is of his favorite granddaughter following in her uncle’s footsteps.
He did tell her he was retired but would help if it was truly needed.
As far as everyone else is concerned the ritual was a dud
One day a major threat approaches and the team has beaten down time and again. Batman is getting desperate.
Wonder Woman asks to borrow a phone
She makes a call in the meeting room
Danny’s dead device depot: you kill it I fix it, how can I help you today.
“My name is Diana of themascyra. I was told you could help….we have run out of options.”
“What seems to be the problem?”
“A new god by the name of Darkseid intend to bring our world to ruin. His army is without end and we cannot hold them back much longer”
“Hmmmm sounds like a tough job” tinkering is heard in the background “ tell you what, get me some of those cookies like yer mom makes. The nutty ones and we’ve got a deal”
“Kourabiedes? That’s it? But-“
“No buts, you just get those started while I take care of this creep. I should be done by the time they cool down.”
The line goes dead.
The team looks at her defeated. Certain that was a dead end, but Diana gets up and heads to the kitchen. If half of what her grandfather had told her was true then she would need to start baking
Meanwhile on Apokalypse….
The doors to the throne room fall to the ground before Darkseid
A large humanoid man stands in the doorway holding a large club like weapon with glowing text on the body
“So you’re the creep that’s been messing with my niece, huh? Don’t worry I have just the thing for creeps like you.”
Later that same day
Danny sits down at the table across from his niece as she tells him all about her friends and their adventures while he enjoys his slightly crispy cookies.

DPxDC prompt: Danny is Chronos' first child.
Well, not his first child biologically, to be completely honest.
It just so happened that the Phantom very often helped/helps/will help Clockwork at different times and his presence next to the titan required an explanation.
And the opportunity to call Zeus a little brother is worth a lot, right? So when the Ancient came up with this idea Phantom did not resist just to have such a pleasant bonus from their cooperation.
However, in the time of the gods and heroes, such a solution was not a problem. But in modern times, when Phantom tries to attract as little attention as possible in order to graduate from university, such relatives are more likely to cause a lot of problems.
~~~~~
Wonder Woman: Uncle Danny?
Superman, who wanted to chase away a teenager serenely strolling through still smoking battlefield, turns to Wonder Woman, who is waving affably at excactly this guy.
Well, Fenton honestly happened to be in Fawcett City by accident, and it just so happened that by chance it was on this sunny and cloudless day that the villains decided to cause riots worthy of the attention of the founders of the Justice League.
Danny: Diana! My dear, it seems like we really haven't seen each other not for a long time! In what century was it? Ah, I honestly, I barely remember it... The speed at which children grow up defies the laws of time. I mean, look at you! Your mother must be so proud. How's Dad? Still not paying child support, arrogant bastard?
Wonder Woman: Oh, uncle, please. I'm all grown up now, don't worry about me.
Danny: Hm, well, let's get back to this question later. I didn't want to embarrass you in front of your friends. Anyway, would you like to introduce them, little princess?
Wonder Woman: Of course, meet Kal El, Batman, and Shazam. The rest of the guys have already returned to our base. Would you like to...
Danny: Ooh, you're talking about, um... What do you young people call it? The Justice League, right? During my youth, the heroes rarely united and mostly performed all the feats alone. It's good that you help each other, kids.
Danny flies up a little to pat Superman and Batman on the head.
Under the Diana's gaze full of hope that they will get along with her uncle, the men do not move.
In the background:
Red Hood and Robin who used to hang out with Danny near the Lazarus pits: *sounds of seagulls dying of laughter*
~~~~~
Flash: So you're Diana's uncle?
Danny: Yes, call me Danny.
Flash: Cool, cool...
Danny: What does the temperature have to do with it? Do you need ice? Let me make some for you.
Flash: No, it's like,um, I didn't know that Zeus has a younger brother with that name. So, it's good to know?
Danny: Hmm, thanks. Many people tell me that I look quite young, hah. But actually I'm his older brother, so...
Flash: Older? Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to disrespect.
Danny: No, it's all right. It's "cool". I rarely appear on the pages of your human myths and legends, I know it. After all this business about Chronos devours his own children, my father punished me for a long time. So, yeah...It's a funny story.
Flash: Punished for what? How?
Danny: Uh, sitting in a room at a time when there is no Internet or electricity is not fun at all. You see, I just didn't want a younger brother or sister because I was afraid that my parents would pay less attention to me. So, I made up this stupid prophecy and persuaded Gaea to tell it in order to remain the only child in the family. My father would never have thought that I would decide to kill him, that's why...Phah, it's just a bad family story. In 10 thousand years, we'll all laugh about it.
Flash: Yeah, that's... funny.
~~~~
Danny *is woken up by an emergency call from the League at three in the morning, although he fell asleep at two o'clock* (he gave his contact so as not to upset his niece): I knew this would happen! I knew it!
~~~~
Billy Batson *stands in his human form in front of the Justice League and doesn't know what to say*,*sweating nervous*.
Danny *enters the hall*: What's up, mortals, Diana and...Batman? My father said that there is something that I have to be here for. Oh! Well, at least someone in this family is also a shapeshifter. Have you decided to make a younger form so that your uncle doesn't feel lonely? What a good boy! Usually everyone is so afraid to seem like children, once they turn a couple of centuries old. Ah, youth~
Billy: Yeah, I decided to..experiment? and it seems I got stuck by accident.
Danny: It's okay, Uncle Danny will help you. Come on, let's go...
~~~~
Danny *teleports them to the Fawcett City*.
Billy: ....
Danny:
Tumblr media
Billy: Hey, I'm still stuck!
A new portal opens and a man in a purple cape hands Billy a note. "Go to Constantine. P.S., my son always completes all assignments only by half, sorry." written on it.
Billy: Oh... OoOhHh!!!
~~~~
Meanwhile, Constantine, who is forced to do additional work: Son of a bi... beloved and respected Master of Time.
Danny: Yeap, that's me.
Constantine: Damn it. Couldn't you just let Batman adopt him like in other timelines?
Danny: And where's the fun in that?

Dcxdp trope twist
All of Olympus was in chaos. Apparently, Kronos had somehow sired another child, a son.? No one was able to agree on exactly how to feel about the new godling, but they all agreed they needed to have their chosen champions check things out.
Now, Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman were searching for the new god and Kronos. The only hint the fates had given was that the new godling lived in the United States and would take on Wonder Woman’s great grandfather’s domain.
Meanwhile, Danny is dealing with the training to become the ancient of space and the sky. And why did Clockwork and Pandora keep having whisper arguments?

DC x DP Prompt: Ouranos Reborn
The JL learn of a prophecy stating that Ouranus would be reborn in mortal flesh, die and revive, and gain the power to destroy the world.
A cult tries to summon Ouranus back into the world and the heroes try to stop them.
They fail.
The ritual is completed and inside the summoning circle is a teenaged Caucasian boy with a NASA sweatshirt who looks just as confused as the rest of them.
TLDR: Danny is the reincarnation of Ouranus and the future Ancient of Space.

Clockwork saw his ex-wife visiting him and kind of hoped she would be gone soon. He has no idea why she came to visit in the first place.
Rhea tried to be polite to Kronos and even used his new name Clockwork when they talked. And once again the conversation leads to their children and how Kronos ignores them.
Clockwork: "I have no idea what you mean. I have a picture of our children here". He points to his desk with only 1 picture of Hestia on it.
Rhea points to her huge family portrait behind him. It was a sitting Clockwork with Danny and Ellie next him, about 3 meters in size and you can see it the moment you walk in his Lair.
The picture of Hestia was just a small desk picture.
Clockwork:" They are my apprentices. I take care of them and teach them, so to speak."
Rhea: "And, were you ever planning to tell me about them?"
Clockwork looked at his ex-wife:" We know how the other 5 ended up, I alone took care of the duo pretty well."
Rhea glared at her ex: "You don't just start like that!"
And both started to argue again.

Instead of DPXDC how bout we change it up, DP X PJO
When Kronos is revived, he's different from what everyone remembered him as.
Blue skin, purple robes, staff and a grandfather clock in his chest.
Clockwork: Hello.
Luke: You're not Kronos...
Clockwork: Refrain from using that name.
Luke: We were promised revenge.
Clockwork: Ah, that's not something I can do.
Luke: But you promised-
Clockwork: I did not such thing. I have no idea who you were talking to. However, it was not me.
Percy: But what of the prophecy?
Clockwork: I do not know.
Luke: So what does that mean?
Clockwork: Your ritual failed, and I cannot help you.
Clockwork: slowly fading out of view: Goodbye.
---
Danny: I never knew you could be summoned.
Clockwork:...
Danny: Wait, you didn't either! HAHA- OW!

Super Phantom
Writing prompt #3
Danny reveals his ghost half to his parents and they took it well accepting him. As a result the doctors Fenton then backed out of the weapons deal they had with the GIW and are actively protecting Phantom from them.
The GIW don’t give up even after the anti ecto acts are being repealed and sabotaged the gas tank for Nasty Burger’s grill. This causes the explosion that would Kill Danny’s family and friends there for Jazz’s graduation celebration. Clockwork foresaw of a Dan event happening and froze time to take and de-age Danny, Jazz, Sam, Tucker and Vallarta. (Clockwork is a jerk and frankly blames Jack and Maddie for making the he portals that caused both Vlad and Danny’s halfa status and a lot more work for him. He is letting those two die.)
Clockwork then sends the Deaged to babies/toddler to different places in the Yong Justice cartoon DC universe. All the kids are liminal and have powers.
Jazz now a 3 year old is sent to Hippallita on Themescira. (Excuse my spelling) liminal powers make her strength on par with Amazons.
Sam, age 1 as well and sent to Giovanni Zattarra. Three year old Zatana gets a younger sister that also has the gift of magic. Especially nature/plant magic.
Tucker I had a hard time deciding but eventually chose Lucius Fox. (If you can think of someone better go ahead and make suggestions.)
Vallarie was Supposed to be sent to Ted Kord, but Lex Luthor was trying to tap into the watchtower’s zeta tubs but accidentally got clockwork’s portal instead. It cased he basket to be dropped instead of gently set down. Startled, two year old Vallarie instinctively activates her ghost tech armor. Now that is a curious unexpected asset Lex will find a way to utilize.
And finally deaged to one year old Danny is sent in a in a basket with a solar system print blanket with a envelope sitting on top. The portal opens and the basket is carefully set on the table with the note. Then clockwork places a folder thick with other papers of to the side. He retreats into the portal closing it behind him just as the apartment door is opening.
Clark Kent has just finished his third week of work at the Daily Planet, the evening patrol and even grocery shopping. Thoughts of the paper he needs to write and turn in the morning are on his mind as he enters his apartment in time to notice a Green glow wink out of existence from his kitchen door. He drops the now forgotten grocery bags when he hears the tiny heartbeat and rushes over to the basket on the table.
A sleeping baby. A baby! Wha- how had anyone. When his brain stops stalling he notices the letter. It reads:
Superman,
The boy’s name is Danny. You are the most likely to survive him learning to use his powers as they emerge. His parents died trying to protect him. It is not safe for him here.
I have already forged the legal documents naming you as his godfather and a cover story in the attached folder. Also three gold coins will be sent to you each month as child support. If anyone else looks at this letter the text will change to simply read that you are the godfather of this recently orphaned boy.
Clockwork.
Clark stood in shock rereading the letter in shock a dozen times. Before Lois snapped him out of it.
“Hey Smallville, it may not be Gotham but even in Metropolis you shouldn’t just leave your door open.” She called as she entered from the hall. Then she noticed the spilled bags of groceries on the floor. And came in. “Are you ok? You may be a klutz but you always pick u- Oh My God, That’s a Baby!”
Well that is enough for tonight. I will add on more later. Wonder how quickly this would grow if I don’t tag anyone? Eh just a few. @bloggerspam @confusedshades @hypewinter @zylev-blog @kizzer55555

Prompt 74
When a new black-haired blue-eyed person appeared in the manor, one could easily be forgiven for thinking that Bruce’s adoption problem had struck again. So color many a batkid surprised that no, this kid isn’t a new sibling, no he didn’t get grabbed from the street, and actually he’s here for Alfred. Apparently Alfred never found it important to mentioned that he has a husband- that the kid kind of implies isn’t human what with the casual way he says he himself is half human- and that this kid is apparently their child. For once it’s Bruce’s turn to come home to a surprise sibling.
Danny on the other hand just learned that his Clockpa has a semi-mortal partner who has offered to take him in, (in another dimension even! And there’s aliens!!) while the ancient takes care of some stuff at home. And yeah it’s in a rich-manor but Sam has proved that not all rich people are evil, and based off of Mr Pennyworth’s stories the Waynes weren’t bad either. Though based off of the others’ reactions perhaps he should wait to mention that there wasn’t one new family member but three…

Clockwork was what remains of Kronos and then he met Danny and unconsciously adopted him.
Clockwork is a lonely ancient older then most ancients ghosts whom are mostly terrified of clockworks, he just watches and slowly fix timelines, put a stone there, shift a clock there, all motioning them for a better future, while the most doomed timelines are watch with a disappointment when a certain person doesn't do a certain path right.
Some ancients tries to fight him for his titled, very very few not even more then one has bested him. His only defeat still scarred his face on his missing eye, even when he at most of his power, that silver of missing power remain lost in the place and time where he still have yet to find it.
Then he met danny and a seemingly limitless amount of possible unfold in his eye. He had of coursed warned him of his doom future after he did defeated pariah king and fixed that minor problem of the future.
Clockwork thought he had lost most of the remnant of Kronos personality, until he realizing he had already began to like the little halfla child the more the child come for him for advice, a favor here and there, or simply wanting to help.
He didn't want to get attached.. not again.., as the remnant of old memories of cannibalistic madness as Kronos still haunt him with the tiny drift of memories of his own godling children whom destroyed him to stop him when he went insane.
Danny remind him of Hestia. Caring so much for his family even when they devastated him in other timelines.. clockwork was conflicted as he kept watching, and waiting despite that he can only mildly intervene a bit in the present..
Danny was like the child he never had in his core..
So he waits and watches as the clock tick and tock, for the right path, the right moment, the right words and hints to leave for dannt to take, for the right time to step in.

I can’t find my post!!
I made a post awhile ago about a Percy Jackson x Danny phantom xover but I never read the books….
I’m about to finish blood of Olympus and now I have a starting line!!!
Same premise, Danny goes to camp half-blood (post boo) and no one can figure out whos kid he is and Percy is being held back by Annabeth before he charges to Olympus and chews out the gods for not claiming this whole ass 17 yr old.
Not only that but the kid refuses to believe he has a godly parent.
Nico keeps getting weird vibes from this guy, like he’s dead but not????
Meanwhile Danny is avoiding Rachel Dare like the plague and is getting increasingly annoyed by these assholes saying his parents lied to him.
Meanwhile clockwork is waiting for the perfect moment to strike. (He’s Danny’s ghost dad ever since his amulet fused with Danny’s core)
One night at dinner when EVERYONE decided to show up a glowing watch shines above Danny’s head.
Percy looks like he’s about to blow a geyser while Annabeth and Chiron are going through all their knowledge about the gods to figure out who tf it is.
because THAT wasn’t possible.
Meanwhile there’s no cabin for any time gods yet so he’s stuck in the Hermes cabin for a bit.
The next day after a rousing game of capture the flag that Danny spent trying to get ahold of the old stopwatch.
As everyone returns to camp there’s a giant commotion….caused by the giant cabin looming over the Zeus cabin with the Symbol of a watch at the top, and a glowing blue man reading a book.
Danny yells “Get down here you asshole!”
CW appears in front of Danny
“Please tell me I’m wrong” Danny groans
“About~~~” CW Grins looking towards Percy and Annabeth
“Well if it isn’t my favorite grandchildren! Thanks again for disposing of that old remnant, for some reason that old shell keeps reforming”
Chaos ensues
Clockwork (formerly chronos) offers Danny some popcorn.
(They thought he was a Hephaestus kid but it turns out he’s just a mad scientist)

Time crisis
Clockwork looked sick, this was the first time Danny had witnessed something like this so he couldn't help but feel concerned for his mentor. However, no matter how many times he asked what was going on, the Ancient refused to answer.
The halfa was taking care of him and finally Clockwork revealed that he was under attack. Danny raised an eyebrow in confusion, he saw no one in Clock Tower and the Observants were not around, seeing his confusion the Master of Time explained himself more clearly.
Clockwork had multiple bodies, distributed in different dimensions. And while they didn't follow the same rules, their job was the same, "preserve the timelines". One of his other bodies must have sensed his timeline being altered multiple times and awoke from its rest to repair the error.
Someone must not have been happy about that, if the damage Clockwork was receiving was anything to go by. The Ancient had no doubt that if they kept attacking him they would cause him further damage, which would be a big problem for the timelines.
The reason he didn't want to tell the halfa that was because he knew Danny would want to help, but not all of his "parts" were good, nor did they have the same methods to "repair" and he didn't want to show the boy a bad part of himself. Although he doubted his other "self" would attack young Daniel, seeing how fond he was of him.
Danny of course, offered to solve the problem. Knowing the boy was stubborn, Clockwork sighed in resignation and opened a portal to the DC Universe, where the Justice League was facing Kronos, Danny stepped through the portal immediately and started running to the battlefield.
Wonder Woman was gritting her teeth in fury as she faced Kronos, who was scowling in annoyance, his gaze seemed to be fixed on the speedster for some reason; half of the League were injured but holding their ground, and John Constantine had almost finished preparing a spell to destroy the titan once and for all. He opened his mouth to tell the Titan it was his end when a teenage boy ran past him.
Danny, who had no idea what was going on, stood in front of Kronos not knowing what to say. He didn't quite know how to fix the situation. Kronos looked at him in confusion as John choked as he noticed the boy in the path of his spell.
"Fate is not inevitable" the halfa told the Titan decisively. While he had been a hero and understood why the people around him would want to "stop" the other Clocky, he didn't want to see his mentor die (even if this was some sort of clone? Danny didn't quite understand), he was selfish, and he knew the other Clocky had his reasons. He looked at the wounded on the battlefield and took a deep breath before looking at the Titan again.
"Come home with me and we'll find another way to solve it" Danny offered, ignoring the heroes glaring at him. Kronos was still silent, he knew he could kill the boy in seconds but something in him protested at the idea.
Danny wondered if he could lock the being in front of him in a Fenton thermos.

DpxDc- Mythology is vastly different then the truth
When sealing Pariah Dark again in the coffin Danny didn't realize that the Infinite Realms decided that it made the two equals in power since Danny didn't shatter Pariah's core.
The observants basically declare since they are now equal in power Pariah is to be released, which in turn makes Pariah head directly to Danny who was hanging out with Sam and Tucker.
Danny gets kidnapped in broad daylight making all of Team Phantom panic as he is taken to Pariah's haunt.
Being dragged into the Infinite Realms Danny starts demanding answers before they start fighting through Clockwork's tower making Pariah and Phantom travel through ancient times.
Clockwork appears in front of the two ghosts enraged, with all the damage Pariah took from Danny all that it took was one strike from Clockwork to make him return to his core. Clockwork then turned to Danny before swallowing Pariah's core.
"Daniel this is as far as I can hold him off but be warned, since Pariah is king of basically the Underworld, you being in the same power scale will be seen either as another king or a queen. In ghostly terms you two are married."
Danny, rightfully horrified tries to return to his time only to see the world is very different, Amity Park doesn't exist, in its place is a place called Central City, the ghosts from the realms were seen as gods/titans with different names: Clockwork was Kronos, Undergrowth was Demeter, Vortex was Zeus, Ghostwriter was Athena, Skulker was Artemis, Technus was Hephaestus,ect.
But Danny kept searching for his family in this new timeline until he found Diana, Ellie's counterpart, freezing in horror as his clone/daughter/sister/cousin Diana calls him "Auntie Persephone"
I'm not good at writing my thoughts but since dc isn't consistent with the actual mythology I decided to mash Clockwork is Kronos au, Ghost Queen Danny au, and Diana is Dani au. Probably not going to finish this so... 🤷

Dcxdp Trope twist
Diana knew to be wary of Kronos, and knew of the terrors he inflicted on the world. Thus, when she found out his ghost had claimed a child as his own, she had volunteered immediately to go and stop whatever nefarious plot he had in store.
She was not expecting to find a struggling ghost vigilante that gushed about how much Pandora and Grandfather had spoken about her.

Dcxdp prompt
You've heard of Alfred as Clockwork's paramour, now get ready for: Alfred Pennyworth is Clockwork's child.
CW gets summoned somewhere, and it results in a child. Perhaps with a young Constantine? Alfred is not quite a halfa, not quite a demigod. He straddles the line perfectly enough that he can pass as baseline human, but he still has some tricks up his sleeve.

The Titan's Second Life Clockwork is Kronos
What many people don’t know is that Kronos had always known most of the Time-lines. He played with Time, since he learned he had that power.
The moment he first laid eyes on his newborn daughter, Hestia, he knew what would come next. The visions came to him just as he was about to eat her and seal her in his stomach.
They showed him all the futures in fragments. Like the hands of a clock moving forward, he saw his life as Kronos - from that moment on, his other 5 children, his downfall, Rhea's betrayal, the war, and how he ended up in Tartarus with his body cut into thousands of pieces.
It was an inevitability written into the fabric of time and time itself. And as Titan of Time, he would know best.
Once he tried to fight his fate. In his paranoia, he had devoured his children in the desperate hope of stopping the cycle and the prophecy. But now he remembered.
Not just glimpses of the future, but memories of an entirely different existence - one he had had long after his fall on Grace, one that was beyond even the immortality of a Titan.
He also remembers his future, of being, Clockwork. An Ancient of Time, in his new home, the Ghost Zone. His Titan soul and body had been destroyed and rebuilt in this place, so that he hardly looked the same. He wasn't even sure if he was still the son of Earth and Sky as Clockwork.
And he remembered the young Halfa, the young Daniel Fenton/Phantom.
Kronos allowed a small smile to creep across his face, remembering how he had reacted when he had learned who he really was while still alive.
Flashback
Danny hovered in front of Clockwork, staring at the Ancient Ghost with wide, skeptical eyes. "Huh? You're the King of Titans Kronos!" His voice was incredulous.
Clockwork's ever-shifting form barely responded, the red glow of his eyes steady. "Yes, young Daniel. I was the Titan you read about in school."
Danny gave a low whistle. "Wow... So you really were crazy!" He laughed and shook his head. "Wait-hold on. How much meat is on a baby god?"
Clockwork tilted his head slightly, anticipating the question. "Why do you ask?"
Danny shrugged. "I mean... if you really were the Titan, and Kronos ate his children and a stone, how come you never tried to eat me?"
Clockwork's expression remained unreadable. "You have no flesh."
Danny frowned. "And a baby god does?"
Clockwork's grin was almost imperceptible. "Have you ever seen one?"
Danny blinked. "No...?"
"Trust me. They have more."
Danny opened his mouth, then promptly closed it, clearly not sure what to say, but he knew he had lost. In the end, he decided to let the whole baby-god-snacking thing go. "You know what? Never mind. I even had an idea for a new adventure!" He grinned and floated closer. "I was thinking... Maybe you could take me back in time? You know, help me out with my history class?"
Clockwork chuckled, his staff shifting in his grasp. "Ah, history. You may find it more complicated than your textbooks suggest, young Daniel."
Danny grinned. "Yes, but that only makes it more fun."
Clockwork sighed and shook his head in amusement. "Very well. Let's see where time takes us now."
Flashback End
Yes, as he found out. He just made some new jokes and that was it. Still saw him as the same mentor as before.
Kronos was still looking at baby Hestia when he left the room. He would not eat her or any of the others. He shouldn't change the timeline that much. He needs them for destiny.
Instead, he ignored them. He did still his old hobby or well future hobby of looking into Timelines.
His siblings did notice, him doing that much more. Rhea after a time gave up to pull him away from doing that or being in his laboratory. While he didn't treat her like before, she is happy he didn't tried something like their father on their children. With that prophecy... But this way.
Hestia grew up in the shadow of his disregard and her mother's care, learning to keep herself. Demeter was left to flourish with the plants and crops, fairly untouched by her father's coldness, she learned quickly to ignore it. Hera felt the sting of his lack of interest, but she was strong-willed and sought comfort more from her mother, Rhea.
Hades, the brooder in his last life, took it with stride and retreated to the underworld to build his own kingdom with the help of his uncle Iapetus. And Poseidon, the youngest of them at the moment, found solace in the vast oceans and swam in Ocaenus' kingdom.
Zeus then was born last, and by then all his children, long accepted their father and king's indifference to them. He barely glanced at the baby, his gaze lingering only briefly on the tiny fingers and toes that would one day wield thunderbolts. He knew what was to come, and he let it happen without a fight.
He was to be Clockwork, the keeper of time, not a player in the game. And he was able to notice, his titan body too did took the changed. The titans noticed how his Golden Eyes turned Red, and his hair turned white. Same with his skin to change color to Blue.
Years passed, and the children grew into their power.
After talking to others about their father. They saw their father's lack of concern as a lack of fear, a sign that they were not important enough to be considered a threat. Little did they know the truth behind those unblinking clockwork eyes.
As Zeus approached the teenage years for a god, Kronos said it was time. He knew it was time for his children to challenge him.
Kronos did not plan to stand in the way. He had seen his end, and it was not at the hands of his own children.
One quiet evening, King Cronus called his children to him for the first time since their birth.
They came, curious and wary. "I have decided to abdicate my throne," he announced, his voice echoing through the halls of the throne room.
Their eyes widened in shock. Hestia stepped back, her hand to her mouth. Demeter clutched the arm of her brother Hades. Poseidon looked out to sea, his mind racing. And Zeus, always the strategist, felt the first spark of hope in his chest.
"You are all strong in your own right," Kronos continued, his gaze sweeping over them. "I trust you to rule when I am gone."
The children and Rhea, like his siblings, didn't know what to say or had time to say anything.
For Kronos had disappeared, leaving them all to fend for themselves again.
Zeus had stepped forward, his blue eyes blazing as he looked at his siblings. "Let us show him what we are truly made of," he said, his voice resonating with newfound power. "We will not be ignored."
Time moved on,
Iapetus would stay to help, moving to the underworld with Hades to serve as an advisor to the younger immortal.
In time, a new kingdom was built as they left behind their father's kingdom. And they built their own, now called Gods, as the Titans retired and moved on with their lives.
For thousands of years, no one was sure what happened to Kronos, for they could never find him. And most of his brothers searched for him.
They talked about how Kronos must have done something with his experiments with time. They were never sure if he was still Kronos, or if he had messed up his time control too badly.
For Kronos, his body had changed, the familiar gears of time reappeared within him, and soon he was Clockwork again.
It was what he had chosen. The freedom of the Ghost Zone, his lair, had already appeared.
Clockwork smiled to himself. Here, in the Ghost Zone, he would watch time and move with his life.
Clockwork stood before a time portal, watching the swirling flow of moments. His past as Kronos seemed distant now, at least to him.
Danny Phantom entered the room and Clockwork's face lit up with joy. "Ah, Daniel. It's good to see you again."
Danny smiled. "You didn't think I'd be back so soon! You did! I surprised you!"
Clockwork chuckled quietly. "Time has a way. I knew you would come, but not right now, maybe 1 or 3 minutes later or earlier..." He watched as Danny settled down nearby.
As the portal flickered again, Clockwork looked at him as he whispered, "All is as it should be.
