My new DnD character!!!! I'm usually the forever DM so I'm excited to play this time hehe
His name is Finnegan Fletcher, he's a half-elf rogue with mysterious past. I wanted to try playing a very stereotypical gentleman thief archetype character

Riley (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
I don't draw her enough anymore, but she turned 12 as an oc this year. Can't believe I created her all the way back in 2011 hahah :'D Still keeping her space theme!

my d&d character is a multiclass monk/barbarian, but her real role in party comp is traumatized single mom. she’s frankly the best one a party could ask for imho.
the guy on the right pretending to ride a sheep is her friend alder, making a successful attempt at cheering her up. I would have drawn more characters in this piece but that is difficult and I am very tired!

for the digital art advice- i use ibispaint for mobile and medibang paint for desktop! both are free. other free programs i’ve heard ppl using are krita and firealpaca, but i haven’t used them myself. i also just fuck around in mspaint sometimes lol. for paid programs i know of clip studio paint and photoshop (obv) and i know a lot of ppl use procreate for mobile/tablet, but once again never tried those. for canvas size i don’t really know? i usually go with 1000 1500 or 2000 px and switch those numbers around for width and height depending on what kinda rectangle i want and then crop from there after i sketch, but also that’s just a number i made up when i started drawing and you can mess around w bigger or smaller and see how it feels/looks. idk how much advice i can give in terms of like actual technique, im not the best at painting myself (cartoons/semi realism ftw) but there’s prob like thousands of tutorials for any given program on youtube. also as a last thing there’s no wrong way to do art just fuck around and find out that’s like a good 80% of how i learned lmao

!!!! this is so helpful thank you :)

Hello, welcome to my blog! I'm just a lil artist making doodles of my favorite characters.
Tags are as follows: artsy stuff - Art tag just scribbles - Sketch tag these are tiny - Pixel art tag rambles & scrambles - Not art/text posts
These are currently unused, but if I ever use them it'll be: im hilarious - Joke or meme tag scene things - Comic tag
Characters are just tagged with their full name, like Rose Lalonde.
FAQ I guess?
Art can be used or edited, credit is appreciated but not required! Just please don't claim it as your own!
Art Program: Clip Studio Paint Tablet: Huion HS611 Computer: MSI GF63 Thin 11SC (gaming laptop ftw)

what software/ app do you used for your drawings?
Clip Studio Paint as much as I can but lately I’ve been using Procreate whenever I’m on my iPad cause it’s more convenient than me getting my drawing monitor up and connected.
But I prefer CSP cause of one single brush I love using most for the soft doodles I make with it. ❤️

I hardly ever draw Marian Hawke and needed to rectify that. Here she is in her full grunge flannel glory!

TFW your average-height girlfriend, and your reasonably tall friends AND your own father look like damn highschoolers next to you.
Aka, another height appreciation post, because I want to practice my main cast’s height in relation to each other. Poor Karl. I hope he will fit the comic panels.

i bought Clip Studio Paint so uh. here's a low effort doodle i did to practice using it
it's my current design for an older Charlie Emily except as i'm staring at it now I've realized I forgot her glasses smh
also she/he charlie ftw (it's loosely... very loosely... backed in canon. thanks scott for changing the gender of the Marionette halfway through or else i wouldn't have any canon backing at all :p)

That gray man clip…eh. Although I always watch Hollywood action movies, I always get disappointed especially by the huge budget they have!! Mediocre fight scenes, relentless cgi, and actors who insist on doing things themselves when it only looks OK. I completely understand the business perspective of hiring well known actors, but please for the love of god let professional stuntmen and women (often highly trained acrobats, dancers, gymnasts, martial artists, fighters, etc) do their jobs in ways that showcase their talents. 2 months of training an actor will not equal a lifetime of training studios. For action movie newbies I recommend watching any Jackie Chan movies or just YouTube clips (Police Story tho FTW!!). The action is so fluid, intricate, fast, continuous (not constant cutting 😑) thoughtful, funny, and UNBELIEVABLY CREATIVE. Once u watch you’ll never see action films in the same light again. I know I just ranted on Hollywood action but I have to shoutout mission impossible, very good series and that trailer looks amazing
Stuntmen and women should get all the credits in action movies, kudos to their job.
