Hi there :-) What's your favourite of your own fics? What would you recommend to a reader and why?

Hello dear Anon! Sorry for the delay in answering.

To pick a favorite would be impossible, I love so many of my stories so much, which is why I've been writing the majority of them so many years. So I'm going to gush about my favorites, and why you should check them all out, haha.

To recommend to a reader, it would depend on what you enjoy.

I'm always pushing people to read Stardust. It's got so many good issues tied up in it, I feel like it could benefit people to read such a storyline, but, I know some people are not into the idea of transgender storylines, which, Stardust features pretty heavily. (In the same vein, there's also Screw Stardust, which is the same base storyline, only I've flipped who is trans, which is a WIP, but, I also love it so much)

If you want more canonverse Clexa, I just finished Depths of Love (which I assume is how you've found me, haha). It's unlike any of my other AUs, and has such an amazing idea. Like, I can not get over the storyline, and honestly, would love to see how one of the other talented writers in the fandom would write the same idea. I can not get over the fact it hasn't been done before, and a very special thanks to @sassymajesty for giving me the inspiration to finish it (three years later, but, oh well).

Then I'd say if you want soft and a lot of fluff, check out Softball. It's nowhere close to done, and I don't know if it will ever be, but it's such a soft idea of high school kids growing up and dealing with challenges and Clexa realizing their feelings for each other. It's honestly my most detailed fic, I have like, five pages worth of outlining for it, and a chapter by chapter guide set up, but it's just finding the time and the motivation to write it.

Then, if you're in the mood for some smut, I'd recommend Create Stardust. It's not really a fic, just a future of Screw Stardust (An AU of Stardust, haha) and it does feature Transgender Clarke, which, again, isn't for everybody, but, I think it's just so soft and one of my most beautifully written pieces. And, it's pretty hot, if I do say so myself, haha.

And then, (last rec, I swear) I would say Not the End if you want some angst. Lots of angst, and lots to come. It's a WIP, and nowhere close to done. Starts off full of confusion and hardships, and then realizes the truth, and trying to make sense and understand it from both sides. I don't think enough people start it with an open mind, and are too quick to hate Clarke, but, yeah. It's so fun writing this storyline and seeing how these complex characters deal with their impossible situations. It's not my best writing, but I'm enjoying it.

Then, last but not least, ones that are my favorites, but I wouldn't recommend as a reader (but I'm more than willing to gush about). Keep Holdin' On - This is angst city. It's so sad and I wrote it about 20 different times whenever I just needed a good cry. Not a deep story, but damn, it tugs at the heartstrings, well, mine at least. Not a lady - Game of Thrones AU. It's very different and very fun to write, but I have no idea how to tie my idea's together. I want Clarke to be so much more than a whore, but I have no idea how to make that fit into the GOT universe without changing everything about it. I've got a few ideas, but, I wouldn't recommend waiting around for me to figure it out, haha. Traitors - Harry Potter AU. I LOVE this idea. Griffins vs Woods. Griffins known for, well, Griffindor, and Woods are known for Slytherin, and Clexa coming in and BOTH of them 'ruining' their family's reputation? Clarke, who's always thought of herself as better than, always seen Slytherin as evil, slowly coming to realize, when she's placed into Slytherin, that maybe, things aren't always black and white? Poor baby Lexa, who was already the outcast in her family, giving them even more reason, now a Griffindor. GAH, just talking about it makes me wanna write it, honestly. I need to sit down and make a plan for a story, more than just them being little gay beans (or do I? Honestly, do I?)

Top 5 fave fanfics you've ever read

"pls nothing that requires research" -> this lmao. could i help myself anyway? no. i went and retrieved my laptop from the dining room and brought it to bed to start digging into this. me at 10:15pm:

but here’s the deal: there’s no way in hell i can give you my fave fics of ALL time. i’ve been reading fic for many years, some of them on sites that no longer exist. there are several “sorry, this fic has been deleted!” entries in my ao3 bookmarks. a lot of those years were also in the hp fandom, which is not a topic i’m willing to revisit given the situation now, despite the fact that i read many incredible hp fics & crossovers. 

also, my memory is swiss cheese! but i can give you 5 fics that come to mind as ones i’ve revisited time and time again over the years. for many of these, i feel an enduring gratitude for it as a work that introduced me to the author(s) as someone whose writing i want to follow. & some of them became buddies which is! cool! for me. it’s an hour past my bedtime now so here’s what springs to mind:

you’re magic & you’re real by @unicyclehippo and @possibilistfanfiction (who also has a bunch of tumblr ficlets for this au under #gaf au) [the 100, clexa] it’s been 7 years and i still reread it at least annually. the universe, this version of these characters - it is precious to me. tender. 

You Still Make Sense to Me (Your Mess is Mine) by @emilyjunk [pitch perfect, bechloe] angie is going to kill me for this in the morning because she wants it to be forgotten she ever wrote bechloe lmao but! despite that! i still reread this regularly. they’re so dumb and i love them so much. i can’t keep saying ‘tender’ yet that’s how i feel about this one too! 

Something Suspiciously Close to Hope by @hedaswolf [the 100/Stranger Things crossover, clexa] ok, i did watch most of the first season of stranger things before it got too scary for me and never picked it up again. however, the wholesome ache this induces is the right palate cleanser for certain kinds of despair. 

The Key to Byzantium by MarcusRowland [buffy/stargate sg1 crossover] wildcard, stargate was my parents’ fandom when i was a kid lmao. a decade and a half and it’s just a casual thing i want to have fun bopping to every so often! 

the wn fandom has so so so many incredible fics & writers, but the fandom is too new to have any idea yet of what fics will endure for me. but so far show me something of a reckoning by @lucytara [warrior nun, avatrice] is something i have already reread… a ridiculous number of times. some phrases in this are so delicious & sticky for my brain that when i was writing pnw au i actually had to go check to make sure i wasn’t accidentally plagiarizing (and caught it a few times, whoops!)... it's absolutely incredible. have a good feeling about the staying power on this one.

Clexa hp au Home is where the heart is

Lexa is about to start her sixth year at Hogwarts alongside Raven and Octavia when this new blonde girl transfers from another school. Will it ‘go boom’ as Raven would say, or could it be Lexa’s awakening?

“Need some help here, miss?”

Lexa’s head snapped from where she was looking down and went to hit the shelf she was trying to place her suitcase on.

“Ouch!”

“Are you okay?”

Her hand placed on her head to rub it off to try and make the searing pain go away, Lexa looked to the tall man standing next to her, looking genuinely concerned about her.

“Yes, I’m fine, thanks.”

She hadn’t intended to make her voice sound so exasperated, especially because the older man – maybe about forty or fifty years old – looked like he could give her a hand and she definitely needed that right now. Between her almost missing that train because she couldn’t find it and now the hit that was sure to leave a bump on her head, that trip was not going well so far.

“Good.” The man paused and looked awkwardly at her, as if he was waiting for her to say something, and Lexa stared right back, confused. Eventually, the man cleared his throat and asked, “It’s not your first year, is it?”

Lexa’s eyes widened a little. Of course it wasn’t! She didn’t look like an eleven year old, did she?

“No, I’m on my sixth year,” Lexa answered the man, still looking confused.

“Ah, the best year in my opinion.” She saw a sparkle in the man’s eyes for a second, something looking like nostalgia, then he shook his head and offered a hand. “Sorry, I didn’t introduce myself. Marcus Kane, the new Charms Master.”

Lexa shook his hand and exclaimed. “Oh! Did Professor Flitwick retired?”

Professor Kane lowered his gaze and pursed his lips. “I’m afraid so. He had an… unfortunate accident this summer, and he decided to use that as an opportunity to retire.” He noticed the look of concern on Lexa’s face and quickly added, “But don’t worry. He’s completely healed by now, and he’s fully enjoying his retirement.”

“Good for him,” Lexa smiled. She had always liked professor Flitwick, despite his mighty air and his accent, he had always been nice to his students. Realizing that she hadn’t introduced herself yet, Lexa directed her smile at the new teacher. “Sorry, I didn’t even say my name. Lexa Woods.”

“Nice to meet you, Lexa.” Kane answered and he looked down to the girl’s right. “Need a hand with that?”

Lexa confusedly followed his gaze and noticed her suitcase, still waiting for a charitable hand to put it in its place.

“Oh right! My suitcase! Well, if you don’t mind, that’d be nice.”

“Of course,” Kane said as he crouched down to grab the said suitcase and finally put it on top of the others on the shelf so it wouldn’t fall. “Why didn’t you use magic? It would have been a good practice, especially because I know some students can’t use it much during summer.”

Lexa blushed embarrassedly as she said, “I would have. But I left my wand at Hogwarts.”

Kane’s eyes widened in surprise. “Really? Why would you do that?”

Lexa lowered her gaze on the floor. “Long story short, let’s just say I needed to have a magic-free summer.”

The teacher flashed her a funny look which made her even more uncomfortable, but ended up shrugging his shoulders and smiling at her. “Well, it was a pleasure to meet you, Lexa. I guess we’ll see each other soon at school.”

He started walking off further into the train before Lexa called him back. “Hey! Out of curiosity, are you going to be the head of Ravenclaw now?”

Kane had a small smile as he nodded and Lexa smiled. “That’s my house.”

Kane smiled a little wider before turning on his heels and entering a compartment.

Lexa was relieved, because the new teacher seemed like a nice guy, and though she was going to miss Professor Flitwick, Professor Kane didn’t seem so bad.

Trying to find an empty compartment so she could just sleep during the whole trip, Lexa opened the door to one and took a quick glance inside.

Shit, shut the door quietly and take a step back carefully.

“Lexa!”

I would say try and steer clear of actual other fandoms like HP there may be a handful of people not invested enough to have any ideas for it. Crossover would be better because it would give more options.

Too late really :/ although HP AU is not winning right now anywayI do wish I’d put this idea out there sooner, that way we all would have more time to work on our stuff, and I could have planned better- I don’t like that I put Modern AU there either because, honestly, most of this stuff will probably be Modern AU anyway. So I’ll probably take away “modern au” and leave it up to choice- for example, roommates theme has been one of the top choices this whole time, and I’m sure 9 out of 10 people will have it modern. Clexa Week 2018 will be much more organized! I’m sorry for the late notice and, well, general sloppiness of this Clexa Week 2017, but I’m still really happy we are doing it and I can’t wait to read everyone’s fics and see everyone’s art and just, it’s going to be so damn kickass that Clexakru will come together to celebrate Lexa and Clarke and the epic soulmate love story that is Clexa! We have the best fandom ^_^

A little Clarke Griffin in Hogwarts Headcanon

It was the talk of the castle when Abby, head girl of Slytherin, started dating the younger prefect from Hufflepuff, Jake. While they were in Hogwarts of a time where friendships between the houses were encouraged, one would barely ever see Hufflepuffs and Slytherins being drawn to each other. But Abby and Jake joined their brillant minds and became the two students everyone looked up to for years to come.

Years later, the time came for the Griffin’s daughter to begin her time in Hogwarts. 

And everyone who knew and remembered the golden couple started to wonder - what house would the child of a Slytherin and a Hufflepuff end up in?

The sorting hat could have ended that mystery. The blonde girl sat down and put him on and he didn’t even need a second of looking into her path to know that she was destined to go to Slytherin. 

But it didn’t happen that way. 

Simply because on the train to the castle, Clarke had been talking to a girl. A quiet, but sweet and smart girl with the prettiest brown hair and green eyes. And snarky comments that made even mouthy Clarke Griffin be at a loss of words. 

And little Lexa Woods had been sorted into Ravenclaw earlier on. So there was no way in hell Clarke would not be sharing a dorm and common room with her new friend. That was simply not an option.

She could argue someone their pants off, so the sorting hat didn’t have any chance. The young Griffin girl would be a Ravenclaw. 

A decision that brought a lot of suffering nerves to the staff of Hogwarts. She didn’t have the patience to answer the common room door’s riddles, so she ended up discovering the room of requirement within her second month of being at school. And she decided to live there instead of the common room. With all of her friends from different houses. Quidditch was never the same after Clarke made the teams of Ravenclaw and Gryffindor start questioning the decades old rules of the game - right in the middle of a game. It was also said that she got all the first years to walk into the forbidden forest at night to explore and that they brought something back to live with them in the room of requirement. Rumors are that Clarke and Lexa named their new pet ‘Fish’.

So what house would the child of a Slytherin and a Hufflepuff end up in?

Whatever house she sets her mind to.

This is my current fic in HP

Lifetimes of July: Hermione had stumbled into his life on a rainy afternoon. Not unordinary for July, but she was peculiar. And then Harry stumbled back by falling completely for her. From the beginning of time, peace cannot exist without a war, and though Harry won his war, he lost Hermione. Since then, Harry has been waiting many lifetimes for her to stumble into his life again. And when she did, he didn't expect to be fighting another war to keep her again.

- It’s an AU set after Deathly Hallows. This is an alternate universe where Harry is an immortal and wasn't reborn to be the son of James and Lily Potter. There was no prophecy, no chosen one to stop Voldemort from coming to power. You can assume major canon events still occurred with Dumbledore having to take responsibility of taking down Voldemort (and failing). As it is an AU where Voldemort has won, the fic is going to be very dark. 

If you are only into wlw ships, these are things I have obsessed over:

- Glee: Faberry/Quinn x Rachel (do not come for me, I know what I just said about enemies to lovers but it’s different when they’re gay ok)

- The 100: Clexa/Clarke x Lexa (be prepared to be sad and pining always. We also just don’t talk about anything that happened after Season 3, Episode 7, 30:58) (Also this doesn't count as enemies to lovers because it was enemies to lovers, then friends, then BETRAYAL, then even worse enemies, then friends, and then lovers)

- Twilight: Bellice/Bella x Alice (Don’t knock it until you try it. Bellice walked so the rest of these ships could run ok)

- Pitch Perfect: Bechloe/Beca x Chloe, Mitchsen/Beca x Aubrey (yes, once again mitchsen is enemies to lovers but I stand by what I said when I say w/w is different!!!)

- Legend of Korra: Korrasami/Korra x Asami (my foolish brain forgot to add them. Also a hot ass couple thank u)

Most of these ships, you could find threesome ships which are also great!
