so like it's not uncommon for me to have dreams with fictional characters in them. and I've mentioned before how I frequently have dreams with TBB in them, in some manner. well haha, it's more than that.

it's gotten to the point where 95% of the time, a certain sergeant will appear as my boyfriend/husband. in the past, this role has been filled by "dream" men (someone who's not real) or some random celeb or other real person. I still have those, but MUCH less frequently (like I said, it's only 5% now). for over a year now, the role of my "dream man" has been the sergeant. I have dreams like this at least 2-3 times a month now. in fact I just had one last night (which is why I'm even bringing this up).

this has never happened before so... yeah. I wouldn't question it if something like this had happened before, but it hasn't. not with anybody, fictional or real. and before anyone says, "oh I'm sure the fact that you create self-insert stuff has nothing to do with it"... I've made self-insert stuff with other characters before. both art and writing. I have multiple OTP tags for a reason ok LOL

idk I'm probably looking too much into this and I'm just reaffirming the fact that I'm mentally ill by even bringing it up hahaha

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

Step two: a bipartisan bill passes to ban it unless it sells out majority shares to an American company

Step three: Supreme Court upholds ban citing national security

Step four: Tiktok goes dark for JUST long enough for people to be upset about it

Step five: Trump vows he'll save Tiktok once he takes office

Step six: Tiktok posts an ad for beloved Trump fixing the issue and comes back online

Step seven: Everyone loves Trump for bringing back TikTok despite him being the one to originally introduce the concept of a ban

Step eight, presumptive: Meta takes a majority stake of ByteDance, bypassing the issue, and will own Tiktok

Step nine, definite: fucking profit
