Developing Janitorial App
Building a successful app requires careful planning and collaboration with experienced app developers. Here’s a roadmap to consider:
Define Your Target Market: Identify your ideal customer base (residential, commercial, etc.) to tailor features and pricing accordingly.
Competitive Analysis: Research existing janitorial apps to understand industry trends and identify potential gaps to fill.

User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design: Prioritize a user-friendly and intuitive design that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate.
Marketing and Launch Strategy: Develop a plan to promote your app and attract both customers and cleaners to your platform.
Future Trends in Janitorial App Development
The janitorial industry is set for a tech transformation with leading trends in janitorial app development. Explore these exciting trends,
1. The Rise of Smart Cleaning: Imagine janitorial apps connecting with smart devices like robotic vacuums and floor washers. This allows remote scheduling and monitoring of cleaning tasks, improving efficiency and freeing up janitorial staff for higher-level cleaning.
2. Eco-Conscious Cleaning: Sustainability is a major concern. Janitorial apps can integrate features like recommending eco-friendly cleaning products or tracking chemical usage to minimize environmental impact.
3. Data-Driven Cleaning Decisions: Janitorial apps can collect and analyze cleaning data. This allows for optimized scheduling based on real-time building usage, prioritizing high-traffic areas, and identifying areas that need more attention.
4. AI-Powered Automation: AI can automate tasks within the app, such as recommending cleaning schedules based on past data or automatically generating reports. This frees up janitorial staff time and allows for better decision-making.
5. Enhanced Communication and Transparency: Janitorial apps can improve communication between clients and janitorial staff. Clients can track cleaning progress, submit requests, and receive real-time updates. This fosters trust and transparency.
These trends point towards janitorial apps becoming more sophisticated, data-driven, and environmentally conscious.
Conclusion
Janitorial app development can be a game-changer for your cleaning business. By offering convenience, efficiency, and a seamless user experience, you can attract new clients, streamline operations, and gain a competitive edge in the ever-growing on-demand cleaning market. Cost to develop a food delivery app like talabat
Tumblr media
Food delivery business is getting popular day by day so if you are thinking of starting a food delivery business in middle east countries like UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, it will definitely work. , create an app like talabat, it might be your best choice.
And this is even more so in the UAE, where food delivery apps have done really well over the years. And then we have many countries where Talabat is a favorite.
However, while this may all seem rosy, there are initial costs involved in building a program like Talabat. And to learn more about that and how food delivery apps are now out there, let's see what they've done.
No, don't just look at the giants in the market. Zomato, Swiggy and Uber Eats are good, but lesser-known apps like Grub and Talabat also have a lot to teach us, and that's what we're going to see today.
But before that, we'll first consider the food delivery scene in the region. As expected, this is an industry that will only grow over the years.
in 2017 was 18,000 million and is steadily increasing by about two million every year to reach a whopping total of about $25,000 million this year, and we're talking about US dollars.
Note: You need to be aware of the top mobile app development companies in order to create an app like Talabat.
How does an on-demand food delivery app like Talabat work?
If your organization is looking to invest in the food industry and is eager to know the cost to build an app like talabat, you must first work and collaborate with restaurants and the developer of the Hire Food delivery app. This way, you can offer an exclusive and diverse cuisine to your beloved customers, making your app the best food delivery app in Kuwait by hiring a food ordering app developer in Kuwait. After that, both businesses and restaurants need to develop food delivery apps.

Cost estimation based on various characteristics
As mentioned earlier, the cost of developing an app like Talabat varies greatly – it just depends on the requirements of your app. Many factors account for such a huge variance. These can be different indicators of the application developers, the level of complexity and the time required to code, test and debug the application. However, as a basic rule of thumb, the more features you choose, the more time it can take.
In terms of features, here is a detailed breakdown of the cost of developing a Talabat-like app.
Main
The basic version only offers features such as user interface components, e-mail, etc. among the features. email subscription and social login. Also, it has no API integration or internal support. This is one of the reasons why it is relatively cheaper than other versions of the hierarchy, costing around $15,000 to $20,000. Also, it only takes about 300 hours. If your requirement for the app is minimal and you want to get the app up and running quickly for your food delivery business, you might want to have the basic version.

Intermediate
If your requirement for a cloning app is a bit nuanced, features like API integration, custom UI components, payment option and backend server will serve you effectively. It starts at $40,000 and takes between 500 and 700 hours.
Complicated
It's great to have some of the most advanced features in the app that can be used on all fronts, but it definitely costs more at around $75,000. Although it may take around 800-1000 hours, the features you get are worth the wait. From custom animations and third-party integrations to real-time APIs, multi-language support, and professional design, you get all the key features in the advanced version.
Note: The price mentioned above and the time frame for completion and delivery of the program is only a general estimate. A lot depends on the development team and how they approach the project. Costs can be reduced to some extent if they require less time with a large joint effort.

After seeing your weatherbugapp reblog i installed duckduckgo and tried it.
Tumblr media
I don't know much about technology tbh but i downloaded this app less than 30 mins ago and in that time google tried to track me 112 times?? And they tried to collect finger prints? And my first and last name? And my gender? And my country, state and city? My gps coordinates? My postal code? My network carrier? My fricking battery level for whatever reason? Can you please tell me if this is normal at all, because i'm freaking out right now. I just turned 18 and started using mobile banking and stuff and this shit scares me
Why tf does it need to know my screen density???my system volume????my charging status????? What tf are they cooking
Tumblr media
Now it's at 476 tracking attempts bro???? barely 5 mins passed.....
I condensed your three asks into one for readability!
And yeah, I'm very far from an expert about any of this, but as far as I know that's just. Normal. That's the normal amount of spying they're doing on your phone. I assume the numbers we see are to some extent because having been foiled, a lot of these scripts try repeatedly, since I can't imagine what use thousands of trackers per phone would be even to the great aggregators.
Tracking the phone stuff like screen resolution and battery level is because (apart from that definitely not being considered remotely 'private' so it's Free Real Estate) in aggregate that data can be used to track what phone use patterns are like on a demographic scale and therefore. Where the smart money is.
Almost all of this is getting sold in bulk for ad targeting and market analysis. This does presumably make it very hard to notice when like. Actually important stuff is being spied on, which is why I feel better about Having Apps with the duckduckgo app blocker thing.
My bank's app reportedly sells data to a couple aggregators including Google. Not like, my banking info, but it's still so offensive on principle that I avoid using the app unless I have to, and force stop it afterward.
The patterns that show up on the weekly duckduckgo blocker report are interesting. Hoopla attempts about two orders of magnitude more tracking than Libby, which makes sense because they're a commercial streaming service libraries pay by the unit for access, while Libby is a content management software run by a corporation that values its certification as a 'B' company--that is, one invested in the public good that can be trusted. The cleanness of their brand is a great deal of its value, so they have to care about their image and be a little more scrupulous.
Which doesn't mean not being a little bit spyware, because everything is spyware now. Something else I've noticed is that in terms of free game apps, the polished professional stuff is now much more invasive than the random kinda janky thing someone just threw together.
Back in the day you tended to expect the opposite, because spyware was a marginal shifty profit-margin with too narrow a revenue stream to be worth more to an established brand than their reputation, but now that everyone does it there's not a lot of reputation cost and refraining would be sacrificing a potential revenue stream, which is Irresponsible Conduct for a corporation.
While meanwhile 'developing a free game app to put on the game store' is something a person can do for free with the hardware they already have for home use, as a hobby or practice or to put on their coding resume. So while such apps absolutely can be malicious and more dangerous when they are than The Big Brand, they can also be neutral in a way commercial stuff no longer is. Wild world.
But yeah for the most part as far as I can make out, these are just The Commercial Panopticon, operating as intended. It's gross but it probably doesn't indicate anything dangerous on an individual level.

Bill 702 was passed in America. Here's what it means
This is what you're gonna do:
You're gonna go to the app store and you're gonna download Cwtch. It's an end to end encryption app that was developed by Tor Browser, aka the Onion Browser
Tumblr media
On your computer, you're gonna download Firefox and you're gonna get all the security stuff you can. I recommend Ghostery and Privacy Badger as well as Facebook Container. You're gonna get a cookie auto-deleter and you're going to go to Google Takeout, download all your data, delete ALL of your files and documents, and find somewhere else to put them. A USB drive if they're memories, LibreOffice or a platform like Reedsy if it's creative works that you are actively working on and/or will need to share.
You're going to use DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, or Oceanhero. I know there are other alternatives search engines, but these three are the best I've found. Bonus that the latter two use searches to fund planting trees and cleaning the ocean respectfully(?).
You're gonna get sliding covers for your phone AND computer cameras, or at least find a way to cover them that's easily removable for video calls.
You're gonna switch from Gmail to Proton Mail, and Proton has a free VPN too. You're gonna get both of those. You're gonna get Tor Browser browser too because you can never be too careful (it has a built in VPN).
You're gonna get MP3 players and download your music from Spotify and YouTube - which also means you can technically separate art from artist because on MP3, you can listen as many times as you want without financially supporting them.
You're not gonna pay for Netflix or Hulu or Disney+ or anything like that anymore. I'm not saying you should use these but there are websites out there like SFlix that have so many movies and shows FOR FREE and you "TOTALLY SHOULDNT USE THEM WITH A VPN BECAUSE PIRACY IS WrOnG". How dare you steal from exploitative, multi million dollar businesses that don't care about their workers smh..
If you are in support of Palestine, you are going to download the app No Thanks!. It has a regularly updated list of all companies that support Israel and evidence/articles to back it up.
Tumblr media
If you get a chance, go watch The Great Hack. It's a fantastic documentary that lets you see inside the world of psychological manipulation through the world of advertisement and influence.
Stay safe out there. Please. Every moment that you are alive and thriving is another moment they are losing.

06-07-23 Why Patagonia helped Samsung redesign the washing machine
Samsung is releasing a wash cycle and a new filter, which will dramatically shrink microfiber pollution.
Eight years ago, Patagonia started to study a little-known environmental problem: With every load of laundry, thousands (even millions) of microfibers, each less than 5 millimeters long, wash down the drain. Some are filtered out at water treatment plants, but others end up in the ocean, where fibers from synthetic fabric make up a surprisingly large amount of plastic pollution—35%, by one estimate. Fragments of your favorite sweatshirt might now be floating in the Arctic Ocean. In a collaboration that began two years ago, the company helped inspire Samsung to tackle the problem by rethinking its washing machines. Today, Samsung unveiled its solution: A new filter that can be added to existing washers and used along with a “Less Microfiber” cycle that Samsung also designed. The combination makes it possible to shrink microfiber pollution by as much as 98%.
[…] Patagonia’s team connected Samsung with Ocean Wise, a nonprofit that tests fiber shedding among its mission to protect and restore our oceans. Samsung shipped some of its machines to Ocean Wise’s lab in Vancouver, where researchers started to study how various parameters change the results. Cold water and less agitation helped—but both of those things can also make it harder to get clothing clean. “There are maybe two ways of increasing the performance of your washing machine,” says Moohyung Lee, executive vice president and head of R&D at Samsung, through an interpreter. “Number one is to use heated water. That will obviously increase your energy consumption, which is a problem. The second way to increase the performance of your washing machine is to basically create stronger friction between your clothes . . . and this friction and abrasion of the fibers is what results in the output of microplastics.” Samsung had already developed a technology called “EcoBubble” to improve the performance of cold-water cycles to help save energy, and it tweaked the technology to specifically tackle microfiber pollution. “It helps the detergent dissolve more easily in water so that it foams better, which means that you don’t need to heat up your water as much, and you don’t need as much mechanical friction, but you still have a high level of performance,” Lee says. The new “Less Microfiber” cycle, which anyone with a Samsung washer can download as an update for their machine, can reduce microfiber pollution by as much as 54%. To tackle the remainder, the company designed a filter that can be added to existing washers at the drain pipe, with pores tiny enough to capture fibers. They had to balance two conflicting needs: They wanted to make it as simple as possible to use, so consumers didn’t have to continually empty the filter, but it was also critical that the filter wouldn’t get clogged, potentially making water back up and the machine stop working. The final design compresses the microfibers, so it only has to be emptied once a month, and sends an alert via an app when it needs to be changed. Eventually, in theory, the fibers that are collected could potentially be recycled into new material rather than put in the trash. (Fittingly, the filter itself is also made from recycled plastic.) When OceanWise tested the cycle and filter together, they confirmed that it nearly eliminated microfiber pollution. Now, Samsung’s challenge is to get consumers to use it. The filter, which is designed to be easily installed on existing machines, is launching now in Korea and will launch in the U.S. and Europe later this year. The cost will vary by market, but will be around $150 in the U.S. The cycle, which began to roll out last year, can be automatically installed on WiFi-connected machines.

Avast was collecting users' browser information from 2014 to 2020, then selling it to more than 100 other companies through a since-shuttered entity known as Jumpshot, according to the Federal Trade Commission. Under a proposed recent FTC order (PDF), Avast must pay $16.5 million, which is "expected to be used to provide redress to consumers," according to the FTC.
If you were an Avast user between 2014 and 2020, you might get some cash. Also worth noting: Jumpshot was owned by Avast.
There's two ways to look at this:
Now that Avast is on the FTC's radar, they're gonna be on their best behavior (i.e. safe), or
Now that Avast has been revealed to be unscrupulous, why trust them ever again?
I personally stopped using Avast because their stuff is so freekin invasive and loud. Always popping up with false positives and/or needless "your system is clean!" messages in between ads to buy more Avast products & services. The final nail was when it tried to quarantine my software development tools.
What an aggravating product.

Lost media quest: H&G Epic Tales (part 5)
Now that I compiled all the info I could find online, it is time for me to share with you the result of my various emails!
... And unfortunately I do not have much to offer you.
Tumblr media
I first contacted the people who worked on the storybook's animation and that had either a gmail adress or a Tumblr. So far I have sent messages to Paco Vink, David Muchtar, Jelle Brunt and Sjan Weijers. So far, only David Muchtar answered me. Of the animation team, those I only couldn't reach Ruben Zaalberg (he has a LinkedIn but I am not on this website). I also sent a formal email to Anikey Studio via their official website - no answer so far.
I thought about contacting Lou Attia, the voice actor for the English version of the app, but couldn't find any way to do so.. If I still do not have in the future any answer, I will try contacting other members of the team. I do not expect any answer, but at least I would have tried!
Tumblr media
The good news is that, as I told you before, David Muchtar did answer me and we had a quite pleasant conversation!
Unfortunately, he confirmed that he had preserved nothing of the files, art or animation he worked with during his time on the "Epic Tales" project (in fact, he told me if I ever found anything, I should sent it back to him because he would like to see it one more time). So all he could offer me was his testimony and his memory (which was, also unfortunately, quite vague - since it had been twelve years). But it was already a very valuable set of information, and so far the most precious information outlet I could have!
I am not going to speak of the story details here, I will keep this for a different post, but here are some facts he could share with me (some which are just confirmations of what I posted about previously, others which are new):
David Muchtar was an intern at Anikey Studio when he worked on the project. As such he didn't have any overview or decision when it came to the story as a whole, he just, to quite him, "animated what was in front of him". There was a second intern of the Studio who worked on the project: Ruben Zaalberg, who was a classmate with Muchtar at the HKU. They both interned for eight months roughly at Anikey. It was Muchtar's first experience as an animator for a studio.
He is pretty sure Anikey Studio still has the files somewhere, but since they don't own the rights to them, they likely can't release them (but he can't confirm this).
Paul Hanraets was the creator and investor who made the project come to life in the first place. He was a businessman who owned a company called Gambitious - it was a crowdfunding platform meant to help independent game developers and publishers, by helping them get funding. "Epic Tales: Hansel and Gretel" was a personal project of his, a "side-project" in which he poured his own, personal money. And while he had planned to continue the "Epic Tales" line, the first game never made him enough continue to continue the project (despite being quite famous upon its release).
The story and the visual style of the interactive storybook were designed by both Paul Hanraets and Anikey Studio. Anikey was truly a small studio at the time, consisting only of two men (Albert't Hooft and Paco Vink) plus one freelance animator (Jelle Brunt, who notably worked on the Anikey short film "Fallin' Floyd".
One specific animation David Muchtar had to work onto was, in the tableau of the kids sitting in front of their house (I posted several screenshots of it), the squirrel - supposed to come out of a hole in the tree, and run on the branch. He had been given the background art and the squirrel concept art by Anikey Studio. His job was to create the animation, clean-up the art and do the colors. In the same scene he had to animate the characters of Hansel and Gretel, while the woodcutter was done by Ruben Zaalberg.
Outside of this specific example, David Muchtar worked on many different animations throughout the game - each animation he was handed was his sole and entire responsibility, apparently? So, in his own word, this made him act as a "key animator, inbetweener, cleanup animator and colorist". He did note that in the final product, it is his drawings, his animation, directly put into the app - with no other hand or influence modifying his work. And that such a thing is very rare for him, despite having been working as an animator for more than ten years now.
Tumblr media
Beyond all this info, he did share with me some story details. While my posts about this lost media are not very popular, I did find a few testimonies of other people who crossed path with this application... However they range from "I saw a demo in a shop a long time ago but couldn't play it" to "I only played the storybook twice, and so I only recall one or two scenes". But, as it is with all serious research, it is not because a testimony is fragmentary that it is less valuable!
We are currently re-creating an enormous puzzle scattered throughout the world, and each piece, no matter how tiny, is important! In fact, this will be the object of my next series of posts. Given all I could collect, I will try to reconstruct the story and content of the animated storybook...
I will mention that I do believe the storybook was actually influenced by some specific cartoon works. Several reviewers described a "Disney-feeling" to this animation - and I hold the belief that the way the witch was vanquished (not though an oven, as the app was designed to be a light-hearted and more cartoony take on the story) is an homage or was inspired by Disney's "Babes in the Woods"...
Tumblr media
That being said, I will already post here two precious resources for information about the changes performed to the Hansel and Gretel fairytale by the storybook.
Katie Bircher's review of the app for The Horn Book gives us a lot of insightful information as it highlights key differences and divergences with the original story:
A caveat: as the Kirkus review points out, the characters of Gretel and the children's father are "largely relegate[d]...to passive roles." In the father's case this passivity minimizes his complicity in the wicked stepmother's machinations, rendering him innocent. In Gretel's case, however, it makes her a mere tag-along to the story's star, "clever" Hansel. (And another thing — we're repeatedly told Hansel is clever, but his behavior isn't consistent with this characterization.) Most of the app's changes to the plot are innocuous, if unnecessary, but one change I find troubling is the revised denouement. Instead of Gretel saving the day by pushing the witch into her own oven, here Hansel defeats the witch alone. This version is more Hansel's story than that of Hansel and Gretel.
[... Here is a list of other elements unique to the app's story:]
Tiny, bad-tempered gnomes are ubiquitous in the illustrations and animations, but never mentioned in the text until they eat Hansel's breadcrumb trail.
After the children's wicked stepmother takes them deep into the forest, she gets lost there herself and is never seen again — although her complaining can still be heard.
Hansel shoots the witch with his slingshot, pitching her forward into her own cauldron, which propels her up the chimney and out of the house.
A garden full of modern-day sweets (e.g., fizzy lemonade, gummies, and cotton candy) surrounds the witch's house. The enchanted gummy animals are returned to their true forms after the witch's defeat. A formerly-gummy swan offers to fly the children home.
Hansel, much heavier after his ordeal, is magically restored to his previous skinny state.
I will complete this review by the Kirkus Reviews linked within the previous article, which does note a lack of "psychological melodrama" and notes:
These include grimacing monsters and surly gnomes popping into view, the evil stepmother’s Cockney-accented screeches and fragmentary ditties like a skeletal minstrel’s “Dinnertime dinnertime for the witch, / She will eat the little boy, she’s suuuuch aaaa….” That fortuitously interrupted last line, plus some eerie moments in the dark woods, may be more appreciated by sophisticated audiences. On the other hand, neither the witch nor the stepmother is definitively killed off, and the title screen offers a “Play Around” option that dispenses with the storyline entirely in favor of going to any screen to check out the interactive features.
If you ask me, I think we have enough dark Hansel and Gretel retellings around to allow us a light-hearted, goofier one... But that's just me!

Are Sun's stupid? or are they stooped from learing?(EaPs)
ok I had this ramble inside my head after seeying the last EaPs episode with Sun kidnaping Captinal Foxy..be warned, is a mess is Sun really.. dumb? or is that maybe .. just maybe.. he doesnt retain Information as long as the rest? I'll make this into two points so this ramble has some order.. How do they learn? sharing a mind does come with issues? now, we know this universe is way different from the one we know, not only both DCA stared up aware of themselves, But they also seem to be coded way different.. I know most things said in old videos dont always stay canon due to the VAs forgetting it, but I know theres key details they try to keep relevant.. and I feel THIS video comes to play a major role on learning how similar both DCA's duo are.. How do they learn?
Both Moon's seem to learn by watching and Copying, Moon said that himself (along side the knowladhe extractor, but thats cheating) while Moonpea ha been showed to us this. He had grew smarter as both Eclipse and Monty helped him on his game and overall tech issues.. one by speaking outloud and the other by direct touch, Moonpea inteligence comes from the literally two people that often times come to tutor him.. (and dare I say.. Eclipse plays a way major role in teaching as he is the one closer and one Moon trust the most with his KC) And Sunpea? thats the issue here.. unlike Moon, he recives less attention and less teaching's from Eclipse, is mostly Ballora that had mention to try and helped him out but we havent see that yet.. Sun from SaMs had been seen to learn by steps guides and repetition, mostly from his Spell lessions but we can assume he had learned to mature by having to teach Lunar how to behave, then NewMoon and now Dazzle , aside from having to learn all Universe stuffs by being told too many times.. (plus driving, is mostly by repetiton too, at least is here) Sunpea in the other hand seems to spend his time alone, unless Pups or Ballora visit him, he doesnt seem to gain much exposure or outside knowladge besides how to type and open apps.. he's has knowladge tho, but that seems to only come out when is needed ,and that is basic human/child care.. aside from that, he's mentioned to not care about tech talk, so most times he space out while Moon does his nerdy talk.. we Know Moon had tried to teach him, keep him company and be there for him, but Moon himself is young too, and Im sure he doenst get the energy to bring Sun back from LuLu Land every day.. sharing a mind does come with issues? one issue adressed is the lack of teachers for Sunpea,,but say he does get it.. would it stay? we werent told exactly how the memories and space bewtween both AIs work, we knew SaMs had separated memories therefore if one learned something the other didnt ..this made even more clean after separation but the peas? does Moon developing faster has a side effect on Suns maturity? is maybe one taking more space than the other? is maybe the lack of troubles and not fighting a major point? we dont know.. and I feel like maybe this is the reason why Sun seems to stay more childish than Moon..
is because none of them have any need to mature fast, theres no danger to their lives YET, there's no fight for control ,meaning to pushing each other down..and no need to actually change.. Sunpea is happy on his little bubble, he seems to not have any indications or motives to develop, yet we know Moon's trying his best I just think Sunpea just need a space and reason to develop more,, and with the addition to Capitan Foxy and his increase on Obssesion.. I think we may finally see more of Him!

I have been reading ‘Hackers & Painters’ by Paul Graham recently. Paul is a hacker who gets pretty rich after his company which uses Lisp for development and one of the first companies used server based programs with lots of releases instead of a Desktop app. I really enjoyed this book. Even tho some parts were outdated, it makes you think about certain topics. It was more excited at start but gets kinda boring and unnecessarily longer in the end. I wanted to quote some parts i chose from the book:
While the nerds were being trained to get the right answers, the popular kids were being trained to please. (p.4)
hackers start original, and get good, and scientists start good, and get original. (p.26)
People in past times were much like us. Not heroes, not barbarians. Whatever their ideas were, they were ideas reasonable people could believe. (p.38)
scientists, or at least of the good ones, is precisely that: look for places where conventional wisdom is broken, and then try to pry apart the cracks and see what’s underneath. That’s where new theories come from. A good scientist, in other words, does not merely ignore conventional wisdom, but makes a special effort to break it. Training yourself to think unthinkable thoughts has advan- tages beyond the thoughts themselves. It’s like stretching. When you stretch before running, you put your body into positions much more extreme than any it will assume during the run. If you can think things so outside the box that they’d make people’s hair stand on end, you’ll have no trouble with the small trips outside the box that people call innovative. (p.39)
How are we to develop new technology if we can’t study current technology to figure out how to improve it? (this IBM having patent and abandoning to open their products are mentioned in the tv serie named Halt and Catch Fire too)
Authoritarian countries become corrupt; corrupt coun- tries become poor; and poor countries are weak. (p.43)
since you don’t understand the code as well, you’re more likely to fix it in an ugly way, or even introduce more bugs. (p.65, this is also what I hated on people I worked with, also please don't forget to clean the code after deletions)
It works a lot better for a small team of good, trusted programmers than it would for a big company of mediocre ones, where bad ideas are caught by committees instead of the people who had them. (p.69)
Wealth is stuff we want: food, clothes, houses, cars, gadgets, travel to interesting places, and so on. You can have wealth without having money. Money is a way of moving wealth, and in practice they are usually interchangeable. What most businesses really do is make wealth. They do something people want. (p.90)
Many employees would work harder if they could get paid for it. (p.97. I would)
Steve Jobs once said that the success or failure of a startup depends on the first ten employees. I agree. If anything, it’s more like the first five. Being small is not, in itself, what makes startups kick butt, but rather that small groups can be select. You don’t want small in the sense of a village, but small in the sense of an all-star team. (p.100)
Norbert Wiener said if you compete with slaves you become a slave. (p.124)
Great work usually seems to happen because someone sees something and thinks, I could do better than that. (p.145)
The word “essay” comes from the French verb “essayer,” which means “to try.” An essay, in the original sense, is something you write to try to figure something out. (p.160)
In OO languages, you can, to a limited extent, simulate a closure (a function that refers to variables defined in surrounding code) by defining a class with one method and a field to replace each variable from an enclosing scope. This makes the programmer do the kind of code analysis that would be done by the compiler in a language with full support for lexical scope, and it won’t work if more than one function refers to the same variable, but it is enough in simple cases like this. (p.197)

Tumblr media
Samsung Galaxy A56

The Galaxy A56 continues Samsung’s legacy of quality features at an accessible price. Samsung looks to be pushing the limits even further, providing the A56 with high-performance specs that might compete with flagship handsets.

It is octa-core CPU handles intense operations smoothly, so you can stream, game, or manage many apps.
Samsung may possibly provide a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 model for adaptable usage in various areas. With its high performance and power economy, this processor makes the Galaxy A56 a powerful mid-range competitor.
Memory and storage upgrades
Samsung will upgrade RAM and storage with the A56. There are significant reports that the basic model will have 6GB of RAM, although an 8GB edition may be available for intense workloads. Users may choose 128GB or 256GB internal storage, extendable via microSD up to 1TB. Users need flexibility, and this gives programs, images, movies, and files plenty of space.
Huge Speeds
Today’s digital world requires 5G, which the Galaxy A56 provides. The A56 is fantastic for streaming, gaming, and video conferencing due to dual-mode 5G download and upload rates. The A56 will keep people connected at fast speeds worldwide as 5G spreads.

The Galaxy A56‘s 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with deep blacks, bright colors, and superb contrast. The A56 will maintain Samsung’s display superiority with its immersive display. A 120Hz refresh rate assures clean images and minimal motion blur, giving the screen a luxury feel normally seen in higher-end devices.
Amazing Camera Setup
Smartphone cameras matter, and the Galaxy A56 may include quad cameras. Speculation implies a 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 5MP depth sensor. This configuration enables for wide-angle vistas and close-ups.
The 50MP main camera offers great low-light performance, quicker focusing, and sharper images. AI advancements provide pro-level photography without a flagship smartphone. Quality selfies and video calls with 32MP camera.

The A56 is include 25W rapid charging for quick phone usage. As usual for Samsung’s A-series, this mid-range device won’t include wireless charging.
Android/One UI Integration
As predicted, the Samsung Galaxy A56 will come with Android 14 and One UI 6. With capabilities to boost productivity and customization, Samsung’s One UI is seamless and user-friendly. One-handed mode, Edge Panels, and extensive privacy settings make the A56 a versatile tablet for casual and experienced users.
Samsung Knox, the company’s unique security technology, will provide improved protection to secure your data. With regular software updates and security fixes, the A56 will endure for years.
Smooth Design and Quality
Samsung designs are known for their quality, so the Galaxy A56 should look great. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 front and back makes the phone look fantastic and endure longer. This thin device with curved edges is easy to grasp and will come in numerous colors for design and function.
Keeping its IP67 dust- and water-resistant designation makes the A56 more durable for daily usage in varied conditions.
Samsung Galaxy A56 Price
Final Thoughts: Mid-Range Powerhouse Galaxy A56
The A56 is turning out to be one of the most powerful and adaptable mid-range smartphones with its astonishing variety of high-performance capabilities. Its powerful Exynos 1480 CPU, 120Hz AMOLED display, quad-camera system, 5G connection, and big battery make the Galaxy A56 the right blend of performance, features, and cost.
The A56 is a must-see for anybody searching for flagship-like capabilities at a lower price. Samsung is pushing the limits of mid-range smartphones.
Galaxy A56 Release Date
No Samsung Galaxy A56 release date has been disclosed. Early in the year, Samsung releases its mid-range A series smartphones. Based on prior trends, the Galaxy A56 should be introduced in early 2025.

Terry taking beloved on a business trip please!
Tumblr media
---
Terry Silver always thought himself the type of corporate sphere man who knew how to separate business and pleasure. Business and his private life. That is, until he got pissed with the official and formally detailed invitation brochure that stated 'Terry Silver and a plus one' and had it changed, re-printed and sent back to him as the appropriate 'Terry Silver and Mrs. Silver' to his exact specifications under the threat of refusing to show up to the summit, dragging a billion dollar revenue along with him merely by never turning up, or better yet, deciding the event wasn't worthy of you, figuring you should stay in LA and from a collective that considered you a plus one. Petty, was it? Perhaps. Wholly appropriate to blackmail the organisers by having them cater to him in everything he's seen fit? Definitely. Never your name on that glossy invite card. No. Your personhood --- who you were --- was for him and him alone. He didn't want your name on a piece of paper, alongside all the guests, journalists, VIP personalities and would-be social issues bleeding heart types. Just your title attached to his like a silent signal to everyone that you belonged to him. Two individuals as one. Silver one. Silver two. You were no mere plus one, no escort, no poultry passing fancy, no paid posse, no secretary, nobody he was just fucking around with and throwing in an extra trip as part of the package deal. You were his. He supposed he wanted the world to know and acknowledge that fact like someone acknowledges the sun in the fucking sky. He supposed he wanted them to know or he'd ensure they'd never see you.
A summit on the preservation of ecology and climate change.
Tokyo.
That was the occasion.
He wanted righteous revenge for your sake.
Even after all these years --- all these decades, rather --- Terry found it secretly hilarious he still got invited to these under Dynatox's banner as the face of the company. The leader of change; but no matter. A few donations, a few charming speeches, a few witty remarks on Twitter everyone fawned over, being seen in the company of app developers who believed themselves ''egalitarian'' and it is like everyone's memory spans were easily scrubbed clean and Terry Silver remained the green new thing in spite of everything, persevering in his own image, transforming with the times. Except, he used to find a secret humor these events he couldn't fully enjoy anymore now that he had someone he always left home and someone he found he was...missing. Yearning for. He felt like a child trapped in an old man's body, staring out the window of his private jet with only a glass of cognac and his flight crew to keep him company, alongside the managerial staff tracking the finesses of the summit while looking out into the clouds, swearing he could find patterns of your image in them, controlled by the one thing he left below, on the ground, concocting ways of hitting the organisers where it hurt for that slight. For that plus one label. Maybe re-direct all the fundraiser donations for the summit he collected into an off-shore bank account in Haiti and screw them over while he was pretending to be their partner. Screw them over for separating you from him even but a few days. For forcing his hand to leave you behind due to the disrespect they've shown you. And then he though to himself, fuck it, fuck this bullshit, don't pack anything, you're coming with me.
I need you.
Had the plane turned around somewhere above Chinese airspace, alerting half of the country to the fact that American Billionaire and entrepreneur was making manevours in the sky big enough to draw chemtrail patterns in the blackness of the firmament. He ordered it. The green new face of climate preservation turning a gas guzzling private plane around on his way to an international conference on ecology to pick his wife up simply because he missed her. He missed you so much he could feel his impatient, idle, mat-hardened toes anxiously curling tucked into the Italian leather of his polishes shoes at the thought of being away, his feet feeling trapped. The irony wasn't lost on him --- releasing enough gas into the atmosphere to pollute a larger metropolitan area. Within several hours, his pilot landed them on the airstrip. The chauffeur was called to drive you out there from the mansion post haste. And there you were, after several timezones, stepping out, his blood, the beat of his heart, the pulse of his brain, the twinge in his cock, the firmness of his fingers. His soul, his soul, his soul. 150.000 liters of fuel later and the ozone layer richer for one gaping hole in the atmosphere, you were reunited. Maybe the world should go to shit, if he could just see you. Be with you. -"What's wrong, Terry? Something happened? We came out here as soon as we could! Did you forget something?"- You're in his arms in an instant, out of breath, worry etched into your face as you embrace. You smelled like home. Like him. -"Yes."- He coos, taking your expression in.
My love.
-"Forgive an old man, must be the age."- He chuckles, as he continues.
-"Forgot how much I wanted to show you off in Tokyo."-
