The 1959 TV series 21 Beacon Street will be released on DVD soon (June 27, 2023) and is currently available for pre-order. (I think they only ship within the US though...)
DeForest Kelley plays a character named George Manning in episode 9 - The Hostage. I don't know how big/small his part actually is or what the quality will be on these but it's a De role I haven't seen before.
The episode description on IMDB:
A gang decides to steal the receipts of a mail order and decide to target the head cashier George Manning. The hoodlums kidnap his wife Lois promising to release her when George hands over the cash.

Meet John Doe is getting a 4K release.
I have gone on about this film before, one of Frank Capra's many films about powerful people attempting to steamroll over the poor and innocent, and...while perhaps not failing utterly, suffering a sizable moral setback that feels like a win to the audience.
It is also a film about fame, and how people with fame can affect popular opinion.
It may be my favorite Capra film, and that is saying something.

'A Night In Casablanca': The Marx Brothers' Spoof On 'Casablanca' Reviewed
‘A Night In Casablanca’: The Marx Brothers’ Spoof On ‘Casablanca’ Reviewed
As mentioned in the trailer, A Night in Casablanca is the Marx Brothers’ spoof on Casablanca. It’s not like anyone plays “As Time Goes By” on the piano or an old flame from Paris shows up. At one point Groucho tells someone to “Just whistle,” but that’s To Have and Have Not, not Casablanca. As far as spoofs go, then, A Night in Casablanca is only loosely tied to the source material. When the…

For Barbara Stanwyck's birthday, we're recommending four of our favorite films from the old Hollywood legend who was born July 16, 1907, in Brooklyn. Feel free to leave your favorites in the comments section. Our picks are: 1. Night Nurse (1931): This scandalous pre-code film is a ton of fun, and the only place you'll see Stanwyck, Joan Blondell, and Clark Gable on the same screen. Available on video on demand. 2. Stella Dallas (1938): Stanwyck never won a competitive Academy Award, but, in our opinion, she certainly deserved one for her heart-rending performance as a self-sacrificing mom in this drama .Available on Prime Video and Kanopy. 3. Ball of Fire (1941): Our pick for Stanwyck's best performance is her touching, funny role as burlesque dancer Sugar Puss O'Shea. It's no wonder Gary Cooper's character falls in love with her; who could resist. Available on Kanopy and Pluto TV. Also on DVD. 4. Crime of Passion (1957): Stanwyck gives a wonderful late career performance as a desperate housewife who eventually turns to crime to help her husband's career. Available on Hoopla and DVD. There's also a great Blu-ray version from Classicflix.

To celebrate the upcoming release of Jack and the Beanstalk 70th Anniversary Blu-ray by ClassicFlix, I chose to make some fan cover art of the movie.
In case you didn't know, Jack and the Beanstalk was distributed by Warner Bros. way before it was in the public domain, hence why I used the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment templates.
The cover was made with the poster of the movie with the details made separate with and on PhotoLayers.

Merrily We Live (1938)
I looked at the dizzying rom-com MERRILY WE LIVE, out on Blu courtesy of ClassicFlix (@ClassicFlix.) #TCMParty @tcm
Though not sponsored content, I was provided a copy of this by the awesome folks at ClassicFlix. All opinions strictly my own.
In 1937 MGM released the film Topper starring Constance Bennett and Billie Burke. The success of that feature not only inspired two additional entries in the Topper series (1938’s Topper Takes a Trip, also starring Bennett, and 1941’s Topper Returns), but greenlit…
