Planets in Houses Areas of Interest in Astrology

Note, that certain planets perform fundamentally better in certain houses, but the general state of the house affairs will depend on the condition and aspects of the planet. I will give an example of how to interpret a planet below the list.

Source for the List - Art and Science of Vedic Astrology Vol 2 Ryan Kurczak & Richard Fish. They themselves used original Vedic Resources for the list, I sourced their material for the sake of Vedic translation.
Interpretation example - I have Saturn in the 4th house and I've always had a good bond with pets since I was a child, they would just appear in my life. It seems natural to me, but in reality many people have allergies, don't own pets, their pets don't survive long, they don't share such a special bond with them or their family situation doesn't allow them one, parents forbid them. Not only did I always have a pet, they were also extremely long lived. As a child, I used to have a hamster that survived 5 years, when the average age of a syrian is up to 3, I had a cat that my mom got but the cat ended up loving me and lived 21 years, and when my cat died, my husband's pup yorkie decided that I'm the love of his life. The pets survive so long, because my Saturn is excellently placed in Aquarius with no bad aspects, so I get to have them and care for them to the point of them reaching the age of physical incontinence. Someone with a difficult, badly aspected Saturn in the 4th would have their own story, but nevertheless the placement would manifest as still having that intimate pet experience in their life.
Another example - I have Venus in the 3rd house and I live with my father in law. I never even met my mother in law, as she has no contact with my husband. Yet people with Venus in the 10th will have her as a prominent figure in their life in some capacity. So this list can show which area of your life will yield a physical manifestation in the first place.
This is how you should superimpose this list onto your chart, checking the individual condition of each planet. Note, that these interpretations are NOT applicable in the Navamsa chart, according to Vedic source.
You can also see from the list, that certain placements produce a particular struggle in one's chart, while other planets produce less problems. I will now make a short list of those troubled placements. Note, that I am not including statements about conditions of given planets, which can turn the mentioned events difficult even for a theoretically good scenario. I am only talking about the houses that give an unquestionable struggle. Interestingly enough, this list differs from the traditional Marana Karaka, and it seems to indicate that even out of most difficult placements, one can build something worthwhile. So I will focus only on placements that bring objective difficulty.
Sun
The Sun has its negative impact in the 7th house, where no matter what it produces egotism from one's spouse or partner. With this position, one basically gets partnerships in life with people that boss them around. But if in a good condition, the partner will be consistent, which I'm interpreting as faithful and committed to the relationship, not looking for outside adventure. So even the worst Sun position has some upside to it. The Sun is hard to mess up.
Moon
Even though traditionally the Moon is feared in the 8th house, here it indicates simply a life full of change and forcing one's ego to adapt, which can actually turn out smooth if the Moon is well placed. The most challenging placement for the Moon is actually the 1st house, where the Moon becomes extremely egoic. From my experience with these natives, it is very true, they struggle to mature and force being the center of attention and their ego blinds them. They are very devoted to their loved ones, but extremely self focused, more than any other 1st house planet on the list. So with Moon in the 1st house you are simply an unquestionable egoist.
Mars
Mars has several gray areas that we will touch on, mostly in Dusthanas. Mars produces results of accidents, weapons and surgeries in the 6th and 8th house, and these are the two most common placements I've seen in charts of doctors. These placements are however not the worst ones, because Mars here has the capacity to do battle where the fight takes it, by joining the army or working with the sick.
The most difficult Mars is in the 12th and 7th house. Mars in the 12th house people grow to always suffer long term from some ailment and that is a result of someone else hurting them. I've seen this in a chart of a person that got injured in their workplace in their mid-life and is still getting surgery for the consequences of it in their old age. More notably, we can see it in the chart of Britney Spears, who has various health issues as a result of accidents through difficult physical work she was forced into by others. This is a placement of physical victimhood from people, who stab the native in the back. My guess is, a strong Mars would endure more, but the event will still happen.
Mars in the 7th house is difficult, because these people always bicker in intimate relationships. They have a karma of constant fights with their partner, as they really try to subliminally achieve domination in a partnership, which is impossible because partnership is about equality and compromise. This placement makes it nigh impossible to achieve marital harmony, unless someone enjoys the fighting, and leads to frequent breakups or one's partner cheating. My mother had this placement, and my only memory of her and my father together is them fighting, and she died single.
Mercury
Mercury is a lucky planet, because it has no obvious pitfalls unless badly placed. Interestingly enough, even Mercury in the 12th house has the power to "purchase expenses", and if well placed, make gains from it. As I know a few Mercuries in the 12th house personally, let me decode this for you. People with this placement have a unique knack to purchase items or property of depreciating value and turn it around. My friend with this placement aspecting her Moon invested long term in buying my falling apart post-communist family inherited apartment and is making her home there, and she also has a fantastic knack of receiving thrifted clothes and tailoring them, a hobby we share. These natives have a talent of turning trash to treasure.
Jupiter
Unsurprisingly, there are no bad houses for Jupiter, as even in difficult houses it leads to forgiving one's enemies, being charitable, or receiving an inheritance.
Venus
Similarly to Jupiter, Venus soothes all houses unless afflicted. Venus is able to soothe physical suffering even in the difficult 6th house, or in a nursing home in the 12th. Interestingly enough, Venus in the 12th in a good sign points to the ability of being fulfilled in love even in the seemingly degrading position of being "the other woman" or as the list says, the mistress.
Saturn
Despite it being marana karaka, a well placed Saturn in the 1st gives endurance and is not the worst placement for it, and other houses such as 6th give it endurance to overcome obstacles too. The difficult position for Saturn is actually the 5th, where it shows decline of status or as the list states "fall from one's position". Saturn has a difficult time in most houses compared to other planets, as in the 7th it makes one lack empathy, which will lead to bad karma in the next life, even in the native blocks out the consciousness in this life, and in the 8th and 12th leads to various calamities. So even the strongest Saturn in these houses can simply endure these difficulties, and hope they pass.

Oh Brother, My Brother
Is there actually any way to be both a Good Brother and a Cool Brother? Dick's trying to find out.
written as part of DC Gotcha for Gaza for em, who requested (annoying (affectionate) dick!
-
"Why," Jason says with a shocking amount of aggression for such a fine fall day, "are you trying to relive childhood memories that we just don't have, you weird ass bastard?"
He deftly ducks under a straw hat aimed at his head.
"Why shouldn't we!" Dick says with manic cheer, grin bright as all hell but still failing to improve the looks of Gotham's only inner-city 'pumpkin patch. Someone dropped a bunch of hay on the asphalt of the parking lot, a couple of people are gamely trying to stop an alpaca from biting a patron, and the hay ride is a man dressed as a scarecrow (classic, not Crane) huffing and puffing as he pulls 2 shopping trolleys tied together around the perimeter.
Despite the lackluster set up, turn out is good. Gothamites love a shit-show, entrance costs 4 bucks and includes unlimited scarecrow-powered rides for those who can stomach abusing the poor guy, and WE sponsored a falafel stand and a funnel cake stand, with proceeds going to CAIR.
Jason's here because Dick had asked for help for a mission; Jason's still here because despite Dick seeing the need to lie about a family bonding activity, he does unfortunately care enough about the shithead to see through his brother's latest crisis of self.
Doesn't mean that he's wearing an itchy straw hat in sight of one and all though. He snatches the damn thing and then frisbees it into the lot next door (Tall John's Low Price High Quality Cars), and Dick makes a mournful sound as it connects with a 2012 Mazda Miata.
"C'mon," Jason says gruffly. "I'll buy you a funnel cake, stop making that face."
Even the promise of a hot greasy treat does little to lift Dick's mood, but Jason still gets them one each, replete with cream and syrup and mashed strawberries. There's no elegant way to eat the damn things, especially not when it's terribly cold and windy, but they tuck up beside a low wall and make an attempt.
Halfway through, face covered in strawberry like he's just devoured a man, Jason nudges Dick. "Go on, then. Why the hell are you acting even more off the rails than usual?"
The look Dick sends him would make a hangdog hang its doggy face awful low. "It's Tim," he says, a sad high whine. "It's, he's.... Oh, God, I just can't-"
Now, if this was a normal sibling relationship, this would be plenty of cause for alarm. But because Dick's the man that he is and their brotherhood is this thing that's all wire in the blood, Jason knows that if it was something serious serious, life or death serious, then they wouldn't be here, talking about this. The fact that they've got powdered sugar on their noses and not 20 feet away a handsy man is being mauled gently by a llama, well.
It's just Dick being Dick, wanting to whine and be a little annoying and unserious in his brothering, and it's nice for all involved to have low-stakes troubles sometimes.
"Uh huh," Jason says indulgently. "What did he do now?"
"He's cancelled lunch on me like three times," Dick says, incensed. "And then said we should meet off-campus, because he didn't want people to see us together. What does that mean? Why wouldn't he want to be seen with me??"
Jason can't stop himself from quickly looking down to Dick's bare-ass legs in his running short-shorts, and feels a distant kinship with Tim (this hardly ever happens). "Don't take this the wrong way," Jason says, fully knowing that Dick will take it the wrong way, "but you're kinda incredibly embarrassing."
"What?!" Dick yells chestily, loud and powerful enough to startle the llama into letting go of the man it was trying to murder. On the other end of the lot, a gaggle of kids on the 'hay''ride' take Dick's hollering as permission to holler themselves, which results in scarecrow looking like he wants to plunge them all into traffic.
Jason has to stifle a laugh. "I said what I said. I bet every time you're on campus you're hitting on anyone legal and upright, and you always dress like you're in a budget porno. Also, I've seen you subbing for B at Damian's PTA meetings, man. You made his English teacher cry because the kid got an A-, which is not the energy I'd want around my professors." Probably. Jason knows that Bruce would move heaven and Earth to let him go to college if he wanted to, but there's a lot to that that needs untangling, so he'll just have to experience Psych 101 while listening to dick for now.
"He cried because he couldn't accept that he was wrong for not accepting that Damian's prose can be non-traditional, on account of English being like his fourth language!" Dick huffs, and takes a massive bite out of his funnel cake in mild irritation. "And I only ever slept with one professor at Gotham U, and that was before Timmy started taking her class, so that doesn't even count! I haven't done anything really weird!" In a calmer, quieter tone, Dick says, "What's wrong about being invested in you guys' lives?"
Jason bumps their shoulders together. "We're a pack of maladjusted kids who are real real used to not being invested in. Compared to all of that, you're, uh, a shock to the system, Dick." He can't help a little laugh, feeling pretty cheerful now that he knows that Dick's minor crisis is even more unworrying than he thought. "You showed up to an Ikea I was going undercover at to buy a mattress you did not need just so's my commission would get high enough to make me Employee of the Month. That's sooooo not regular, do you get that?"
"What's the point of being regular in this family?" Dick points out unhelpfully. "And I really did need a new mattress! I mean, it wasn't a coincidence that I got it from you, but it was a coincidence that I really did need something from Ikea."
"Uh huh," Jason says, untrusting just to be irritating (a younger brother's prerogative). "That definitely doesn't make it less weird. C'mon, that hot toddy stand is screaming our names. Your treat."
"Maybe I wouldn't have to be this weird if you guys were less weird," Dick says huffily, all tart and annoying (the oldest brother's prerogative). They skid and slide across the damp fall leaves on the ground, and take a moment to admire the little donkey that's just chilling between two trucks parked by the photo area. A man's carving the Gotham skyline into a pumpkin (complete with a tiny tiny Batman!!), and every bit he cuts out he feeds to the sweet braying thing.
Closer to the hot toddy stand, a woman tried to entice them with some home-baked pies she's selling right out the boot of the car. It's not entirely clear if she's here as an official vendor, or an enterprising Gothamite who had seen the pumpkin patch getting set up who just so happened to have 4 whole pecan pies in her car.
The price ($5.50 a slice) is written in lipstick on the plastic casing, so her origin is still unclear. Jason was still a little tempted though, even if they both turn her down on account of having bellies full of cake.
They do, finally, get to the drinks stand. Dick gets carded, to his tremendous delight, and Jason doesn't, which leaves him feeling a little Adult and a little Superior. To keep that particularly ball rolling, Jason even gallantly pays for their drinks (he stops Dick by forcibly taking his credit card from him and snapping it in half), and he leads them to the row of haystacks that demarcate the limited parking.
They're quiet for a while longer, enjoying the honey and the rye and the warmth and the chill. More and more people are showing up, gone 5 and now the little fall-time wonderland is seeing an uptick in people in smart business suits all heading straight to the hot toddy stand. More and more food trucks are showing up now, too, and it must've been a WE-mandate, that everyone's got stickers on their sides advertising the charity that they're championing.
"Thanks for taking me out," Jason says at long, long last. "I've never been to one of these things, but I gotta say, there's something a little special being surrounded by pumpkins and screaming kids and straw."
That makes Dick smile, warm and buttery like the best pie crust a car boot could contain. "'course, Jay. I didn't go to one of these until I was like 25, and I had such a great time that I wanted you guys to experience it too." He breathes in, then sighs out gustily. "You don't think Timmy dislikes me? He's just regular embarrassed? Because I know what it's like to be embarrassed, 'cos Bruce in socialite mode could make a rock bluch, but I'm not great at.... being disliked."
Jason drains his cup, yeets it, and punches the air when it slams into the trash can, nothing but net. "Dick, you asked to speak to my manager so's you could tell her how impressed you were with my mattress knowledge. You're honestly one of the most embarrassing people on this planet." He gets up, dusts himself off, and turns to look at Dick. "You're also one of the most well-liked, well-loved shitheads to walk the Earth. Stop fussing over Timmy and making Wet Sexy Eyes at his friends and professors, and before you know it you'll get cafeteria access again. Okay?"
That's enough, looks like. Dick is grinning so warmly at him it's genuinely embarrassing. "What," Jason says gruffly, looking away and feeling a little grateful that the cold means his face is already too flushed to give away a blush.
"Nothing," Dick says. "Just feeling some kind of way, on account of my little brother loudly proclaiming that I can be annoying but he loooooves me anyway."
"Kill me again," Jason says with feeling.
"Not on pain of death," Dick says with great cheer. "C'mon, we can't call it a good fall day out without a hayride!"
"I'm not sure if Mr. Scarecrow would agree," Jason eyes Dick up and down, and is relieved to see that his mood's a hell of a lot better than when they'd arrived. "There's got to be a way that's less of a labour law violation."
"Oh, ye of little faith," Dick says, dimple digging in more deeply when he smiles. "In your brother you trust!"
-
This is how they end up stuffing straw down their shirts, before going over to the overworked (and probably underpaid!!) scarecrow and offering to take turns hauling people around on this man-powered hayride.
Jason will see, later, in the community newsletter that he fervently keeps abreast of, a picture of him and Dick looking like they'd fought a wheatfield, lost, and then immediately started running away down the streets with kids in tow.
God aloud, nobody is as singularly funny and singularly annoying as Dick is. Even just looking at the picture is making Jason grin, which is SO embarrassing!!
(This man is heavy, but he sure sure is his brother).
=
a/n
thank you to the dc gotcha for gaza gang for organising this, and to em for making this charity commission request (annoying (affectionate) dick)! hope this tickles your fancy, i always enjoy giving dick some type of minor crisis to work through ;)

Mer-creatures explained-
Mer-creatures also commonly known as sea monsters are mermaid like creatures yet a lot less human than the traditional mermaid the legends speak of. These creatures resemble or mimic other fish in their habitats but have a humanoid shaped upper half. They also exhibit higher intelligence than regular fish; some studies have shown they can even learn to speak a human language, (but this is usually only seen in bigger species). And almost human levels of sentience have been observed. They also exhibit vastly different social habits than fish, caring for young until adulthood and forming familiar bonds even to the extent of forming what we call villages; large groups of Mer-creatures living together in cave systems and reefs, looking after each other, warding off predators and sharing food.
So far we have discovered two distinct species of Mer-creatures we call them, the Celestials and the Skeletals, these species don not seem to co-habitat well as they compete for food. Their diets consist of any fish smaller than themselves and sea flora like seaweed, kelp and phytoplankton. We have also discovered a mini variation of both species of Mer-creatures. Mating habits of either species is unknown as we have as of yet discovered a female Mer-creature. And no known cases of successfully bred mer creatures has occurred in captivity.
Celestials:
Celestials are a lot more fish-like, the most known name for them is ‘the classic sea monster’. The pattern from their mimicked species continues across their whole body. It is easy enough to mistake them for a normal fish if you aren't paying attention. They tend to mimic their species temperament a little more than the Skeletals possibly since they tend to blend in with the locals more. Celestials must always have a light schedule mimicking the day and night cycle of their home habitat. This species is the most high maintenance of the two. There are three classifications of Celestials, Solar, Luna and Eclipsed.
Solar tend to have brighter colour schemes, usually mimicking fish with Yellow or orange in their patterns. The sclera of their Eyes appears white while their pupils glow light blue.
Solars are diurnal and have been seen favouring the daylight and hiding away to sleep at night, do not house them in a tank without a safe space to hide at night, they are susceptible to stress and may die overnight if they don't feel safe enough. Be sure to install emergency lights in case of blackouts just to be safe.
Lunas tend to match a darker colour scheme, preferring black and blues. Their scleras sport a dark hue contrasting with the bright red glow of their pupils, some researchers believe this aids in their night vision. They are nocturnal and have only been seen active at night, usually finding a dark space like a cave or among flora to hide during the day. It is never advised to house them in a tank without a place to hide from the lights; similar to their Solar counterparts the stress is sometimes enough to kill them. Prolonged exposure to lights is not advised.
It is however always advised to keep at least one Solar and one Luna together, they tend to form a sibling like bond, their diurnal and nocturnal habits match well aiding in their survival in the wild, even in captivity this helps them feel safer and reduces their stress significantly.
An addition of an Eclipsed class Celestial in the familiar group is a welcome one. The Eclipses tend to sport a mix of light and Dark hues usually sporting both a bright colour like orange mixed with dark markings, for example stripes. Their sclera tend to be dark like a Luna while instead of the red hue their pupils usually take a yellow or orange glow sometimes a dual colour is present. Eclipses tend to be slightly smaller than the other two Celestials. Eclipses prefer a Cathemeral routine, taking small naps during the day and night but being mostly active during both. This gives the other Celestials some company and assistance in hunting.
Celestials seem quite territorial, tolerating a group size similar to those accepted by their mimicked fish, it has not been observed however for them to have groups smaller then two.
We have two species of miniature Celestial Mer-creatures in our aquariums, our Clownfish Sunny a Solar, Moonmoon a Luna and Clips A eclipsed and our Betta fish Sun who is a Solar and Moon who’s a Luna. We're working on acquiring a larger variety of Celestials to further our research.
Skeletals-
Skeletal Mer-creatures Also known to many as sirens, are somewhat rare. Their species mimic a fish similar to how a Celestial would yet the pattern stops at the tail. The skeleton of their upper half is then visible through their skin similar to a glass fish. The reason for this phenomenon is unknown but some speculation hints at a hunting advantage, tricking other fish into thinking their tail is a smaller fish almost using it as bait. But this habit has not been observed in capacity for at least half the species is what you might call lazy eaters. Skeletals seem to be content whether in a small group, a large group or on their own.
There are again three classifications of Skeletals, Sans, Papyrus and swaps.
We do not have a Papyrus currently in our aquariums and not much is known about this variety of Skeletal Mer-creature as they are quite rare yet bold, fearless and elusive very few have ever been captured. We do know that their features are longer, almost stretched out compared to their Sans counterparts.
Sans’ however are quite laid back in comparison, they are indeed lazy. They have very rounded features, they tend to sport glowing pupils but many colours can be found, and reflect a personality difference, we have tried to classify these as subclasses as they are similar enough to be the same class but different enough to categories but many researchers disagree on this, further evidence is to be gathered for our hypothesis.
The third type is what we call a swap, these tend to look like one of the others but have a temperament more similar to the other, for example our two swaps look like a Sans class skeletal with rounded features and yet they are as lively as a Papyrus type, zipping around the tank and actively hunting. Although this term is widely used to describe this mix of appearance and temperament it is still a highly disputed term.
Our Skeletal Mer-creatures include four Miniature and four larger varieties, As mentioned earlier we have yet to house a papyrus class siren in our tanks but wish to find one to add to our research program. The miniature skeletals we have are, Comic our Classic Sans, Fell our Serif, Berry our classic swap. Our larger varieties are as follows, Sans our classic sans, Red our serif and Blue our classic swap.
Our disclaimer: Mer-creatures are not to be kept as pets, if you find any trapped in rock pools or stranded on the beach please carefully release them back into the sea. Do not touch them with bare hands; some varieties may be poisonous, use heavy deputy gloves and/or a bucket. Please also report any sightings of them to your local research aquarium or marine biology centre so we may certify the location and dub said area as a protected Mer-creature ocean. Our mer-creatures are housed in certified specialist Aquariums monitored around the clock by mer-creature specialists and are kept in cruelty free locations for research and educational purposes only. If you have any questions or would like to visit our open to the public Aquariums feel free to ask.
To speak with our Celestial specialist please ask @ofsunnydays-and-moonlitnights
And to speak with our Skeletal specialist please ask @kezi-likes-undertale
Any general mer-creature questions may be submitted to @kezibun
If you have any information on any of the Mer creatures please submit your finding, if you know of any Papyrus class sirens or any larger varieties of Celestial sea-monsters available please get in contact via ask or submission. Any information, photography or sighting would be highly appreciated. We would love to share your research.

Hi,.....if you don't mind me asking, can I ask your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from Hazbin Hotel? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Sorry if you've answered this question before....Thanks....
Hi!
Thank you for this fun ask :D
FAVOURITE CHARACTERS
1- Lucifer
He's a disaster and I love him :''') He is very well written so far. He has a strong characterization, which combines a comedic side (bumbling dad + airhead) with more serious traits (depression). He is also set up to have a wonderful arc, which ties with important themes for the series, as a whole. Dreams, redemption, freedom and love. His relationship with Charlie is especially sweet: he is very very flawed as a parent, but through his daughter he finds hope again and makes some steps to grow. Plus, he is a mix between Barnum (the greatest show) and Walt Disney, which is very meta when it comes to the themes of creativity and enterteinment.
2- Charlie
Charlie is one of the rare protagonists I adore! She feels both classic (she is a Disney Princess) and original (she is the Princess of Hell). The premise to have such an idealistic character as a high profile demon is both hilarious and very strong thematically. Not only that, but Charlie's conflict is actually pretty deep and layered. On the one hand she genuinelly wants to help Sinners and is right about redemption. On the other hand she is also using her dream to run away from her problems and hide her self-issues. Charlie is deep down a child, who felt abandoned by her parents and who doesn't fit in her own Kingdom. The Hazbin Hotel is a home for both Sinners and herself. A place where she can stay for a while, find familial bonds and grow. On a writing note, I like how active she is. She drives the conflict beautifully in a way which is almost refreshing.
3- Alastor
Here comes another disaster! Alastor is clearly the key character of the series, both when it comes to plot and to theme. He is clearly linked to Lilith's mystery somehow (either because he made a pact with her or because the reason of Lilith's disappearence ties with whoever Alastor made the pact with). He is also a challenge to Charlie in how she believes everyone can be redeemed, but Alastor will try very very hard not to be LOL. And he will probably fail :''') Apart from it, he is very well used in the first season. His mystery is built up and he manages to stay active and move the plot without taking central stage. In a sense, he stays in the shadows, which is fitting for a shadow character.
3- Angel Dust
Angel is a sweetheart, who hides his feelings and goodness out of fear. I like his sibling bond with Charlie and how selfless he is towards his loved ones. His stay at the hotel isn't really about redemption, as Charlie thinks. Rather, it is more about healing, finding a stable environment and escaping a toxic relationship. I like his small step towards independence. His story is just beginning and his arc is just set up, but it has already the potential to be great.
5 - Adam, Sir Pentious, Vaggie, Sera (basically a bunch of characters LOL)
Adam is a villain I enjoyed immensely. He is just fun to hate LOL and I am curious to see if he will gain some depth. Either through coming back or post-mortem. I also like he is a play with School of Rock's Dewey Finn. He is in love with rock and metal and even uses rock rhetoric, like "Stick it to the man". Except that he embodies everything rock isn't. He himself is the man. He is a mediocre authority figure who uses his power against the weakest. Sorry Adam, but Charlie is way more punk rock than you :P
Sir Pentious is adorable <3 His arc is simple, but well done. I love how he slowly opens up to others and his crush for Cherri Bomb is adorable. I am curious to see where his story will go.
Vaggie has a very interesting premise in how she foils Lucifer as a fallen angel (and will probably foil Lilith, as well). The reveal of her background was great and I love her design and her focus in Hello Rosie, where she finds a mentor in Carmilla. Still, I want more of her and feel like her arc is just set-up as for now. It ties with trust, which is a great theme for a love story.
Sera has only appeared once, but I like her characterization. She is sympathetic, but also very clearly in the wrong and the main responsible for the whole conflict (yes, even more than Adam as she wields more power and could have stopped him). I like her bond with Emily and I am curious about her relationship with Lucifer, since what happened to him seems to have scarred her.
FAVOURITE MOMENTS (IN NO ORDER)
More than Anything - Charlie and Lucifer's confrontation
Charlie and Lucifer discovering each other and affirming their familial love is beautiful. Charlie reveals she still adores her father, despite his flaws and neglect. Lucifer finds in himself the drive to dream again.
You Didn't Know - The questioning
The whole courtroom scene is brilliant thematically. The main conflict goes from redemption for sinners to questioning the system. It is poignant how Lute and Adam are stuck in their heads and unable to either ask nor answers questions. Charlie and Emily instead keep interrogating others and themselves. They discover the reality around them is complex, starting with their loved ones (Vaggie and Sera). Still, these doubts will make them stronger in the end.
Lucifer's Big Damn Heroes moment
Lucifer joining the fight to save his daughter is a great conclusion to his arc this season. Plus, he manages to be both badass and hilarious at the same time :''') His short skermish with Adam is pretty funny, as well and it was cool to see his demon form. Plus, we got some more hints to whatever happened in Eden, which is bound to be important for the story as a whole.
Ready for this
This is Charlie's big moment this season. It is when she realizes she can do this. She has within herself the strength to inspire people with her voice, just like Lilith. Rosie and Alastor encouraging her is great, as well. And the whole set-up with a town full of kind and cheerful cannibals is hilarious.
The Show Must Go On - The Finale
The final song is perfect as a conclusion to Charlie's journey this first season. She starts it by singing alone, with everybody dismissing her. She ends it surrounded by her loved ones, with everyone "singing her song". Lucifer and the whole Hotel Crew encourage her not to give up and help her re-build her dream. The hints to future plot-lines (like the Vees and Alastor) are also great.

if the characters of ponniyin selvan were to be in a modern-day indian high school, what personalities do you think they'd have?
here's my take:
aditha karikalan - 12th grade, the overacheiver, good at everything he does, kinda wild, the sorta person who can get piss drunk the day before but still get a 100 on a test the next day, very respected but unapproachable, is involved in literally every society but is particularly interested in sports and chess
vandiyathevan - 12th grade, charming and friendly, very popular, mischievous, gets into trouble a lot but none of it is serious, students love him, teachers like him too but gotta be strict bc he plays too many pranks, in the literature society
kundavai - 11th grade, also good at everything she does, much friendlier than her brother, respected by both students and teachers, the senior you go to when you got a problem bc she just gives the best advice, not too much into physical activities but amazing at debate, MUN's and quizzes
nandini - 11th grader, quiet, mysterious transfer student who hides her intelligence, the girl who will claim to fail but will actually pass with 99%, competitive, hates losing, always achieves her goals, in the chess, tennis and debate societies, good at all of them
arulmozhi - 9th grade, innocent, sweet and helpful, people usually cannot believe he's aditha's brother, doesn't do as well as his siblings in academics because he already knows he's not interested in it, very creative, is part of all artistic societies, is best at poetry and music
vanathi - 9th grade, shy and a little awkward, isn't really good at socializing but is the most animated one when she's with her friends, is fairly good at academics but her real passion is classical dance, in the dance society, almost always plays krishna in their dances
poonguzhali - 10th grader, the "weird" one, quiet, a little unapproachable and eccentric, she usually scares of people who try to talk to her, to her few friends she is wise and thoughtful, doesn't really enjoy academics or other school activities, loves swimming, is secretly an amazing singer but will not sing for anyone
sendhan amudhan - 10th grader, the teacher's pet but you can't hate him because he is literally a golden retriever, topper-in-training, isn't interested in after school societies but he loves going to the library and reading history books, passionate about social justice, spends his weekends volunteering at various charitable organizations
some headcannons:
kundavai and nandini have a fierce rivalry. they cannot stand it when one of them does better than the other. it's usually entertaining but when things get too intense aditha and vandiyathevan have to restrain them so they don't bite each other's heads off.
no one knows where nandini goes after school. she spends sometime at a flat nearby where she claims her grandparents live, but after that she takes off on her cycle. aditha got very close to finding out once but nandini saw it coming and diverted him to a lake on the outskirts of town.
vanathi and arulmozhi had been in the same class ever since preschool but on the first day of 9th grade, they were separated. vanathi felt terrible about it and spent a whole period crying in the washroom. kundavai heard it and felt sorry for her, so she took her under her wing. kundavai and vanathi develop a very deep, sisterly bond after that. .
aditha appears very confident but he secretly cries every other week in his room because the stress of being perfect gets to him. sometimes, when it gets too much, he sneaks out onto the roof for a smoke. vandiyathevan occasionally joins him with some nicotine gum.
vandiyathevan flirts with every girl around his age, but never with kundavai. this is partly because she's his best friend's sister but majorly because he wants to genuinely impress her and flirting won't work. kundavai for her part feels bad when she sees him flirt with other girls but never her. she reasons that it's probably because she's his best friends sister, but she sometimes wishes he would flirt with her too

Aight so. As we move into the summer season I have been struck with inspiration for a new AU. It is a summer camp AU. All the MCs are roughly 18/19. I’ve started enjoy the idea of Crowley as an archangel and the archangels being his siblings cuz that’s very dramatic and I’ve been exposed to a lot of that content so that’s here now too. Also I made my two favourite characters friends because of course I did that’s what I always do in every fandom I’ve ever been in.
(Featuring friends to lovers Aziracrow and enemies to lovers Ineffable Bureaucracy obviously.)
So the perspective is split between the four main characters. Gabriel Archer, his half brother Anthony J Crowley (Known mostly as Crowley) same mother (Gods human character that looks like Frances Mcdormand, most likely named Godiva or something similar) different fathers. They are constantly fighting and being general little nightmares, never seeming to be able to agree on anything and taking arguments way too far (bringing up each others fathers; Gabes died and Crowley’s was shitty, getting into actual physical altercations and getting eachother in trouble at school) so their mother decides to send them to a summer camp as councillors for bonding and teamwork purposes. She’s trying okay. Gabriel just turned 19 and Crowley is 18.
And on the other side are the head councillors, Aziraphale (known as A, Azi, Zira or variations on ‘shithead’ and the like by Beez cuz they’re a little bitch) Prince and Beelzebub (known as Beez) Hellborne. They’re 18 but have been attending this summer camp since they were 11 (they’re known as ‘legacy campers’).
This is their second year as councillors so they’ve been given a promotion bc the last head councillors left. To most people they seem like the world’s least likely friendship but they just vibe. It’s probably the undiagnosed autism. They love food and classic literature (I think Beez would like Lovecraftian horror and more horror-y stuff like Frankenstein, Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde etc. while we obviously know Aziraphale has a preference for Jane Austen.) and manage to be equally terrible influences on eachother (aziraphale is that one friend who will suggest something and then be like ‘oh no don’t actually do it I was joking!’ While having a shit-eating grin on his face because he knows damn well they’ll do the thing).
Beez is better at handling activities (surprise surprise so is Gabe) while Zira is better at handling the campers themselves (surprise surprise so is Crowley) since he tends to be gentler. (Eg. Beez will try to get the campers attention by yelling ‘okay, maggots!’ And Aziraphale will literally just bop them on the head with the book he’s holding and glare at them until they say something non-aggressive. ‘Beez we talked about this you can’t yell at the 11 year olds.’ ‘Why not? My older siblings yelled at me when I was that age.’ ‘…Well we’re going to have to unpack THAT later. Also hold my book I wanna go talk to Crowley.’)
Aziraphales family is homophobic and Beelzebubs are generally pretty toxic and involved in some bad crimey stuff (they have six brothers, the other deadly sins) so camp is their favourite time of year and they will not tolerate these new councillors messing their safe place up.
The owner and guidance councillor of the camp, ‘Sergeant’ Shadwell and ‘Madam’ Tracy, who are definitely-not-secretly-pining love these two, Shadwell calls them and the other councillors his ‘officers’ and Tracy tells them they’re stars.
So the bros™️ show up at camp and are intoducd to the other councillors, including the buddies™️, queue an ‘oh no he’s hot’ squidward moment as the brothers realise this summer may not be so bad after all. Queue shenanigans, no one being good at feelings, matchmaking, healing relationships and found family feels.
still need to think of a name for the damn camp though.
OH MY GOSH this is an absolutely GENIUS idea!! I absolutely adore this...
(dies inside as i instantly think "OOH! Camp Armagetalong–!" I'm a sucker for puns and word play...)

The Mosley Review: Talk To Me
I remember as a kid that all the witches and true Goth teens that were all about "the dark and endless void in which our spirit shall rest" lifestyle. Sometimes they would invite other kids to a party and at some parties they would have a seance or a ouija board would be brought out. They would claim to see stuff and then pass it on like a creepy ghost story throughout the halls of the school. Many films like Stigmata and The Craft were some of the inspirations and classic teen films about supernatural horror were everywhere. The level of originality and creative scary visuals got better then started dying off when the Paranormal Activity films started taking over. Now comes this film which takes a simple and universally friendly acknowledge of communication and twists it into something more sinister and creepy. That was the beauty of the concept and it is put to full use and nothing is held back. I loved the visuals of the many spirits and how the possession would violently take place. The sense of desperation, psychological and emotional trauma was on full display and its always fun to see how the characters handle it. I liked that certain characters were around only when needed instead of over crowding the screen even if a few of them were very one note.
Sophie Wilde as Mia was the lead of the film and she knocks it out of the park. The amount of desperation for wanting to rekindle the flame of young love and her need to fit in wasn't necessarily new, but her portrayal made it relatable. The quick turn of events for her life as we get to the main plot was astounding. Her rough emotional journey into madness was excellent and her performance kept me engaged. Marcus Johnson plays her father Max and I felt he was very one note. He was very good at delivering the emotional weight of the strained and distant relationship between him and his daughter. Alexandra Jensen as her best friend Jade was great and funny at times with her snarky remarks. Their friendship felt natural and the genuine moments of bonding between them was good. Joe Bird was really good as Jade's younger brother Riley. He represented the "younger brother looking up to older sibling" type and it was cute at times. He represented that last shred of innocence in the film. Miranda Otto is always great to see on screen and as Jade and Riley's mother Sue, she was a firecracker. She wasn't afraid to lay down the law in the house and I loved how she embarassed her daughter in a particular scene. Otis Dhanji was good as Jade's boyfriend Daniel. He is stuck in a love triangle between Jade and Mia and I liked the tension between them and I'm glad it didn't overshadow the story. Zoe Terakes was good the dealer of the school, Hayley. Hayley was the purveyor of "The Hand" and I liked her devilish enjoyment of the possession scenes.
The score by Cornel Wilczek was good and creepy in the more intense scenes. The use of silence is where this film excels. There is power in not using score in the most obvious moments of horror and that was used well here. I loved the design of the "The Hand" and the markings add that extra level of demonic iconography. Where I feel the film lacks is in the middle after the majority of haunts begin. I would've loved for a not so obvious twist in the psychological moment that kicks off the last 30 minutes of the film. I liked the visual foreshadowing earlier in the film and how it paid off. I've been a fan of the YouTube creators behind the wild and awesome channel RackaRacka, Danny and Michael Philippou. For a debut film, this was an fantastic supernatural horror film that plays to their strengths and shows that they have a bright future as storytellers on the big screen. I can't wait to see where they go from here. Let me know what you thought of the film or my review in the comments below. Thanks for reading!

More Rhaemond babies content!!
The Many Faces Of:
Daemion Targaryen & Aelyx Targaryen
Daemion and Aelyx are the second and third born children of Rhaena and Aemond (these babies will probably join us around chapters 12 or 13, maybe sooner or later). Twin boys who were born 4 minutes apart from one another...Aelyx was a tad bit unexpected. Daemion's eyes are a bit more of a "classic Targaryen" violet, in my canon he literally inherited his namesake, grandpappy Daemon's violet eyes. While Aelyx inherited his mama's pale violet eyes. They were both born with golden blonde hair that would pale over time, but would still remain golden. Facially they are very identical, but they do have their slight differences (I'm thinking they both look more like a perfect mix of both Rhaena and Aemond, like neither favour either parent more or less than the other.)
Daemion (named after his grandpa Daemon, how Rhaena convinced Aemond to let her name one of their kids after her father is a plot line that WILL be shown 😂) was always the more chaotic of the two. He was louder, bolder and far more sociable (slight parallel to how Baela is compared to Rhaena!). As much as he loved pulling pranks on the staff at Dragonstone he also liked befriending the staff as well. He was a little charmer, and unlike Vaella he knew how to genuinely charm people to get what he wanted.
He had a very active imagination and always had energy to burn, though unlike his father or his elder sister, he didn't have the patience to sit and focus on things. He loved hearing about his family's history, he just couldn't be asked to sit and study it. He liked fooling around with swords and weapons, but he couldn't be asked to truly pay attention and train properly (I imagine he's got medieval ADHD to a certain degree)
Daemion loves his twin brother a lot and he's always done his best to make sure Aelyx felt included in his adventures. But Daemion also really loves and looks up to his older sister, she seemed invincible to him and he wanted to be just like her. Whether she was pulling off an incredible prank, flying his dragon for the first time, learning something he wasn't supposed to be taught just yet...he always wanted to do what she was doing.
Aelyx on the other hand was the complete opposite. He was a lot quieter, a bit more awkward and soft spoken, and was not really fond of social situations. When he was a toddler, he would run crying to his mama for every little thing, she was his favourite person and she always made him feel safe. During a time when she wasn't available (NOT SPOILING THIS PLOTLINE), Aelyx had found himself needing his papa instead, and Aemond easily decided to clear his day to bond with his quiet son.
Aelyx liked reading on his own or being read to by his parents, he could often be found in the library with his nose tucked in a book. He liked snuggling with his mama, and he liked listening to Vaella's dramatic tales and storytelling. He liked conversing with his papa in Valyrian and properly training with him in the mornings with Vaella, he especially liked sitting on his grandpappy's lap and listening to his old battle stories (he and Daemion usually did that together!).
But he also loved his twin brother Daemion over all else, he wasn't the biggest fan of pranks or shenanigans, but he enjoyed tagging along with his two older siblings. Whether they were pranking the maids or servants, sneaking around cooks to steal sweets, or attempting to sneak past the dragon-keepers or trying to get closer to the dragon mount. Aelyx may never have initiated any these endeavours but he'd happily let Daemion drag him along for them.
Daemion's dragon egg would hatch in his crib, the egg itself had been from a clutch of Syrax and Caraxes (his favourite dragon was his grandpappy's Caraxes). He'd name his dragon Meraxes both after the Goddess of the sky, but also because in their culture she'd been Caraxes' twin and he was very fond of that. Aemond would later jest and try to sway his son to maybe appreciate the history of how Meraxes was also the great Queen Rhaenys' former mount, and while Daemion did like that, he was very fond of Rhaenys from the histories, Rhaena knew having a dragon who was the hatchling of his grandfather's is what meant the most to their son.
Meraxes takes after her mother, in that she's a glorious horned dragoness, a deep burgundy toned red that shimmers iridescent in the sunlight and moonlight. with golden horns.
When Daemion is 8yrs of age and Meraxes had grown to a ride-able size he sneaked off with Vaella to ride their respective dragons (I think Vaella will claim Grey Ghost, I think I've decided! Let's say she claimed him when she was around 7 or 8 herself.) Rhaena was more worried than upset, but she's reminded by Aemond how Vaella had done the same just a few years ago. But seeing how he can't simply let the kids off completely, they both earn two sessions of early morning training as their punishment (a punishment that's really only upsetting to Daemion because Vaella loves training...she doesn't like waking up early though, so maybe that's the punishment part.)
Aelyx's dragon egg on the other hand, while it had hatched in his crib like his brother's...the poor hatchling had not lived long enough to bond with baby Aelyx. He'd receive another egg when he's 2 or 3, from a clutch from Silverwing and Vermithor, but the egg would never hatch. Even though he'd be assured by his ENTIRE family, his parents, his grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins, and even his old sister, that he'd be able to claim a dragon when the time was right...he still felt excluded and upset about it.
In all his years he'd go on countless rides with his father and siblings (and others family members!), but finally at the age of 16, he'd sneak out alone. He felt a call to him, deep in the volcanic mounts of Dragonstone, and there he found Sheepstealer, and a bond would be made.
The moment he claimed his dragon, he flew to King's Landing first, beaming with excitement he wanted his grandfather to be the first to know. And of course, Daemon was very proud. (He also figured he'd earn a lecture and a punishment from his parents for sneaking into the very dangerous volcanic mounts of Dragonstone by himself at night...so grandpa Daemon seemed the best bet at the time!)
Daemion would grow to be a very blatant charming flirt. Vaella, Aelyx, and their three younger siblings would always make fun of him for it. Because he was truly a charmer, he'd never force any girl, he had impeccable manners, but he'd end up with loads of young maids hoping and thinking that he felt more them, than he actually did. It only got worse when courting seasons began, and young women began falling for him left and right! Between the ages of 17 - 22, Daemion was a menace leaving a trail of broken hearts behind him in his wake.
That is until a certain cousin/fellow Targaryen caught his eye (I'm thinking possibly one of Baela's and Jace's daughters, OR Luke and Daenaera's OR maybe even Jaehaera...ouuu older woman kink. Either way, Daemion seems VERY Targ cultured to me, like accidentally so very. He's his father's son, in that he's going for a Valyrian bride at the end of the day! 😂)
By the time he's grown into a young man, he is a relatively skilled sword fighter, though he's far better with a morningstar or an axe than a sword. He and Meraxes are an inseparable bond and he's a great dragon rider. Daemon loves annoying Aemond by that praising his namesake grandson only grew up so well because of his name (grown men Aemond and Daemon still 100% act like children with eachother and I think that's part of their father-in-law/son-in-law charm!)
Aelyx had also grown to become a handsome young man (he doesn't know it or get it, but the noble girls of the Kingdom are very attracted to him...even some of the noblemen, the sexually fluid noblemen of Westeros are very attracted to both twins honestly), but he'd always remain a far more silent brooding type (much like his father). As he'd gotten older, he'd actually gravitate towards his father a lot, spending countless hours flying and training with him, as well speaking of histories and conversing in Valyrian. As he got older he'd spar with Vaella (and another sibling!) a lot, the two being the best sword fighters of all the children (debatable as there are some other kids coming who are quite good too! But I still think Vaella and Aelyx are the technical best).
Aelyx would also grow to be his younger siblings favourite tutor, when they weren't taking lessons with their maesters, they always wanted Aelyx to read to them because he always had the most patience compared to Vaella or Daemion.
When courting seasons begin, he's not as fond of it as Daemion (and another sibling!) is. He keeps to the edge of the dance floor with Vaella (he hates the social outings themselves, while Vaella could just care less for dances or court etiquette, she's well versed in both...she just doesn't care for them. He's also well versed in both, he just has anxiety and hates the attention/feeling crowded) but they're both always constantly asked to dance by noblemen and noblewomen.
I think Aelyx marries a tad bit outside the family, maybe still Valyrian -esque features wise but maybe like a Celtigar girl or someone from Lys or Volantis. Maybe a Velaryon cousin! Or maybe truly outside the family, like a Stark or Lannister, Tully or Grejoy, Baratheon...who knows! Aelyx is a bit of a wild card to me ✨
❃ ❃ ❃
Just like with Vaella's, this was just a fun little addition I wanted to share! I have created the art for ALL 6 children, every once in awhile I'll drop their little life bios as fun little bonus content! I'm also going to start linking them together at the bottom of these posts for convenience and or anyone who later on wants to check the full set!
Sidenote: if I ever do make that Part 3 to this series, then don't mind me if some of these details change when I do get to writing it. These are just my main initial thoughts for these characters now. But if I ever go into more depth with them, things might alter just a tad!

I have finished drawing a Welcome Home OC! Her name is Melody Nightshade! Most of what you need to know is in the image.
As for her relationships with the neighbors, I can explain a bit more in detail.
For Wally: Melody at first was a bit put off, but the more she chatted with him, the more she started to feel something. Wally as also a bit put off, but he ignored that because he really did want to be her friend. It was only when he saw her be flustered when he realized that he wanted to be more than friends.
For Howdy: If love at first sight had to take a shape, it would be definitely be shaped like Howdy. Cause this love bug fell in love at first sight when Melody first entered his store. Melody didn’t at first fell in love, but when he was flirting, she started to become flustered. Melody wasn’t sure how to feel with Howdy’s flirting, cause she never had anyone actively flirt with good intentions. Eventually she started to fall in love with him.
For Sally: Theater and Music as always been paired together. So these two were destined to be best friends. Melody was out of her little walk near Curfew hour when she came across Sally practicing for her play. Once they started to connect and bond over their love of music and fairy tales, they became close friends.
For Poppy: Melody came to Poppy, after smiling some delicious cookies. After their bond of cooking, Poppy had accidentally learned of Melody’s secret, but still supported her. From that day, Melody sees Poppy as a motherly figure she had lost ages ago. Meanwhile Poppy sees her as sort of a daughter.
For Frank: Frank didn’t like Melody at first, due to her odd behavior, while Melody is a bit scared of Frank. But the two started to bond over flowers and books. Frank tolerates Melody at most, but that’s mainly because she is more quiet than most of the neighbors. Meanwhile Melody can see that he’s nicer than he seems, plus she enjoys their talks.
For Julie: Julie saw Melody as new friend material, and is the main reason why Melody started to be active in the neighborhood. Melody sees Julie as a sibling, due to how often she reminds her of her younger siblings. Julie can understand how it feels to move far away from her family, and tries to be there for her. Julie was one of the few to notice how sad Melody is, even when she tries to deny it.
For Eddie: The two don’t really interact often, but when they do, it’s usually due to Melody’s family sending her something or Eddie misplacing something. Despite rarely interacting, they still see each other as friends. Though, Eddie started to feel like Melody knows more than she seems, but brushes it off as everyone being unique.
For Barnaby: These two don’t really get along, but tolerates each other. It could be the good old classic cat vs dog. But Barnaby would voice his suspicions of Melody, as he really feels like she knows more than she seems. He doesn’t exactly trust her either, as he would often see her go on nightly walks (past curfew), and constantly blocking anyone’s view of her face. Melody, on the other hand, feels like Barnaby is becoming suspicious of her and worries if he was going to find out about her secret. But which secret is the question.

However, not all is easy, as conflicts and rivalries among the brothers arise. Ema, determined to mend any misunderstandings, helps uncover the root causes of their discord, helping them reconcile and grow closer as a family.
Throughout the story, Ema learns the importance of family, love, and understanding, as she brings her newfound half-brothers together to form an unbreakable bond. This heartwarming tale explores the challenges and joys of blending families, reminding everyone that blood does not define family but rather the connections we forge.
As Ema continues to spend time with her newfound brothers, she realizes that each one of them carries their own burdens and struggles. She witnesses firsthand the power of siblinghood and the impact it can have on one's personal growth.
Masaomi, the eldest brother, feels a tremendous weight of responsibility on his shoulders. He has always felt obligated to take care of his younger siblings, sacrificing his own dreams and desires. Through Ema's gentle encouragement and unwavering support, Masaomi begins to reevaluate his priorities and allows himself to pursue his own aspirations, ultimately finding happiness in the process.
Ukyo, with his introverted nature, has always struggled to express his emotions and connect with others. Gradually, Ukyo begins to open up, confiding in Ema about his fears and dreams, and together they embark on a journey of self-discovery.
Kaname, the sporty brother, feels immense pressure to excel in every aspect of his life. Ema recognizes his hidden insecurities and encourages him to explore his passions beyond just sports. Together, they venture into different artistic endeavors, such as painting and photography, allowing Kaname to discover a new side of himself.
Hikaru, the free-spirited brother, and Ema find solace in their shared love for arts and music. They explore the city together, attending open mic nights and art galleries, giving Hikaru the creative outlet he craves. Ema's unwavering belief in Hikaru's talent helps him overcome his internal battles, allowing him to pursue his dreams fearlessly.
Azusa, the introspective and silent brother, connects with Ema through their mutual love for music. Ema discovers that Azusa channels his emotions into his guitar playing, using it as a form of therapy. Recognizing his need for emotional support, Ema dedicates her time to play and sing with Azusa, creating a harmonious bond that provides healing and encouragement.
Natsume, the mischievous brother, is initially wary of Ema's presence, fearing that she might disrupt their established dynamic. However, Ema's warmth and understanding break down his defenses. She joins forces with Natsume in planning pranks and mischievous adventures, encouraging him to share his playful side while simultaneously teaching him to consider the feelings of others.
Louis, the fashionable brother who travels the world, often feels lonely and disconnected from the family. As Ema delves into his life, she discovers his yearning for a deeper connection. Ema arranges surprise visits from her brothers during Louis' fashion shows, bridging the gap and showing him that he is truly cherished.
Subaru, the calm and nature-loving brother, feels pressured to conform to societal expectations. Ema introduces him to environmental conservation organizations, where his passion for nature finds purpose. Together, they embark on a mission to educate others about the importance of environmental sustainability, reinforcing Subaru's belief that he can make a significant impact.
Iori, the disciplined and ambitious brother, learns the value of compassion and empathy through Ema's patient guidance. Gradually, he realizes the importance of balancing his drive for success with kindness toward others. Inspired by Ema's selflessness, Iori seeks opportunities to help those in need, evolving into a well-rounded individual.
Yusuke, the kind-hearted and empathetic brother, appreciates Ema's genuine care and concern for others. They collaborate on various community service projects, making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals. Through their shared experiences, Yusuke learns the significance of selfless acts of kindness and finds deeper fulfillment in serving his community.
Fuuto, the charming and popular brother, initially teases Ema relentlessly. However, as they spend more time together, Fuuto begins to admire Ema's determination and resilience. He witnesses her commitment to her goals and realizes that her unwavering pursuit of happiness is something he should also strive for, inspiring him to take his own career aspirations more seriously.
And finally, Wataru, the youngest brother, looks up to Ema as his big sister figure. Ema showers him with love and attention, assuring him that his voice matters. They embark on adventures together, engaging in childlike playfulness while also nurturing Wataru's curiosity and imagination.
As the story progresses, Ema's infectious positivity and unwavering support help each brother confront their challenges, redefine their identities, and embrace the strength of their newfound familial bonds. "Family Bonds Unveiled" becomes a tale of personal growth, love, forgiveness, and the transformative power of accepting and embracing one another's individuality.

8-10 for the question game
Leah Forman and Becca Hyde
Leah:
8. Her insecurities stem from her sister and those who bully her, mostly (but for different reasons, obviously). She wants to be an overachieving social butterfly like her sister (it's complicated, as shown below), and be accepted amongst her peers.
9. Her relationship with her sister Kate is...complicated, to say the least. Leah sees Kate as little miss perfect. She has the perfect grades, is fairly popular, and does a bunch of extracurriculars (volunteering, working for the school paper, yearbook, various instances of political activism, etc). But then Kate is jealous of Leah for being innately athletic and physically strong, and her ability to engage in a romantic (and later sexual) relationship with James with relative ease. Kate is very hesitant to act out her idealized romantic impulses, and her lack of personal and romantic intimacy causes her romantic relationships to suffer. So they both lash out at each other, and Leah rebels to be noticed (kind of like Eric throwing a bowling ball at the TV or Donna purposely failing English in season 2), but at a much larger and far more destructive scale.
10. Her relationship with Eric is kind of like Red's father-daughter relationship with Laurie. Leah is Eric's favorite, but because she's the clear underdog like he was as a kid. He's more aware than Red was, but he tends to stick his head in the sand in regards to Leah's real struggles. Leah goes out of her way to hide things from him, spelling disaster in the long run.
Meanwhile, Donna is willingly more aware. She tries to discipline/rightfully call out Leah more than Eric does, and tries to gage her emotions, and Leah is far from receptive (most of the time). She's more nuanced, and tries to fully understand her youngest daughter, even if it falls on deaf ears.
Becca:
8. She has this classic type 4 problem; how do I stand out without looking like a freak? She doesn't want to conform to society's mold, but doesn't want to be shunned by society, either. So she's insecure about how she presents herself, like her mother, but she's not willing to admit it.
9. Becca and James are by far the closest siblings in my verse. Yeah, they drive each other crazy and they poke fun at each other like brothers and sisters do, but they have a deep, protective, and symbiotic bond. Becca is the calm voice of reason, and James pushes Becca to put herself out on a worthwhile limb. Becca is also Leah and James's secret squirrel for a major plot point in my verse, which I'm keeping quiet about.
10. Hyde and Becca are each other's support systems and are pretty chill, usually. Hyde can be overprotective, especially when someone wrongs her. Particularly her first boyfriend Danny, who is kind of a Kelso, and Hyde hates him.
Jackie and Becca are complicated. Jackie loves and likes her, of course, but she struggles to understand her. She quietly wishes she had a more stereotypically feminine daughter to do girly things with, and her goddaughter Kate sort of scratches that itch. She hates that she feels this way, though, and keeps it very hush hush. Because she adores her daughter, and fiercely protects her if need be.

Blomst Family Headcanons
(Warning: Marriage for sacrifice, Child abusing, Trauma)
Calla Blomst
Rozebelle's older sister and the most oldest among her siblings.
Calla is a gentle and considerate of her family. She is even truly care about them a lot.
Like Rozebelle, Calla strongly hates her grandfather because of his abusive and toxic relationship with her and her young siblings.
She ran a flower shop in Citrine Town to fulfill her dream, but her grandfather firmly opposed her choice back then, and even burned all the flowers she managed to grow successfully.
Calla is the one sacrifice her love to keep her siblings safe by marry the wealthy man she barely love. Later she found out she was his 17th lover instead of the only wife. Moreover after 3 years she filed for divorce but her husband have no idea about it. She then left the mansion secretly at same night.
Denver Blomst
Rozebelle's older brother and the 2nd child among his family.
Denver is flamboyant with his actions and creating an over-dramatized persona. He is prone to making grand entrances for himself by walking on a red carpet he rolled.
Denver is a big fan of all kinds of drama actors he's seen, both classic and modern. He even pretends to be them, though people think he's crazy and think he's escaping reality.
Like his sister Calla, Denver once had his own star dreams, but was ruined by his grandfather, who burned all his film series collections.
For this reason, Denver had losing his dream and becoming a little flamboyant with craziness.
Lily & Florent Blomst
Rozebelle's young siblings. They are twins and currently study at the same kindergarten.
Lily is calm intellectual. She shown to treat clients and strangers with polite respect, but is often prickly towards those closest to her, most to Florent. She has a sakura pink high-tech alarm clock Rozebelle given on her birthday, and named it "Carly."
She has a greatly deep bond to her AI assistant, "Carly", which makes some people (usually Florent) call her out on her weird behavior when it comes to this artificial intelligence.
Despite this prickly exterior, however, she does truly trust and care for those who she considers her friends. She also knows to rely on her friends when she needs to.
She is shown herself to be very attentive and knowledgeable, identifying her sister Rozebelle's early moves on calligraphy and house chores.
Florent is actively in socialize and like to joke around Lily. He is deeply care for Lily, even extremely loyal to her. He loves making meal but only can make bento.
As twins, Florent know Lily's preference and her actions.
Lily and Florent are shown as a close twins, but permanently get fighting to problem to their relationship.
Neither of them has ever met their grandfather, so it is estimated that they ran away with their older brothers and sisters when they were both underage. So did their elder siblings didn't mention anything about him.
Adam Blomst
Rozebelle's grandfather who's a politician.
Adam focusing more on himself and his family's future and politics more than give a family love to his grandchildren.
Therefore he always ignored them, but often to abusing them by cruel punishments if he was annoyed. Also he is ruthless towards them. Mostly Adam ruined Rozebelle and her siblings' future dreams rather than supporting them; he ordered his men to burn all Calla's flowers, Denver's favourite movie tapes, and Rozebelle's created peoms.
He then warned them to more focus on their future wedding for business than of their silly fantasies.
To his grandchildren, Adam is considered as "a trynant", and "a monster." But, to the public eye, people see him as a well-liked man with strong morals. They haven't seen his true colors before.

For some reason I started reading Gotoubun. I’m about 20 chapters into it and somehow I’m liking it enough that I’m actually looking forward to reading new chapters every night. The pacing is surprisingly quick, to the point where the midterms happening less than 20 (out of ~120) chapters felt like it’d be somewhere in the latter half of a TV series.
I guess if I’m going to do this, it might be worth documenting my thoughts to see how they change (or don’t) as the series goes on. The characters are all (mostly) likeable enough that I think that’s a lot of what’s keeping me going.
As the male lead of a harem series, Fuutarou is mandated by the Japanese government to be bland and function as a self-insert, but I do like that he’s more active in the story and not really a pushover the way your typical protagonist is. I joked 3 chapters in that in order to continue checking off “trash anime cliches” Fuutarou must have an unknown/misunderstood childhood connection with the quints, and it turns out that happens at the end of volume 1.
Ichika, I don’t have many thoughts on. Despite being a slob, she actually is pretty mature and plays the part of the oldest sister really well. I’m generally a sucker for “older sibling” characters, so I’m already predisposed to liking her, but she just hasn’t done much yet.
Nino sucks, but I love her design. The butterfly twintail ribbons are a super neat and distinctive visual. She’s the only of the quints I don’t really like since she’s been underhanded, manipulative, and antagonistic every step of the way. I get that she’s doing it because in her mind she’s protecting her sisters, but she goes way too far. The only nice thing she’s done so far, and it was her big moment, was lying to her father so they could keep Fuutarou around.
Miku’s my favorite right now. So much so, that I’m actually rooting for her! She’s the first of the quints to really open up, is a total dork, and I love how she recognizes her own feelings and is doing something about it. I also really love the way she sometimes impersonates the others either for a laugh or in times of emergencies. She’s really sweet, and it’s just too funny. Her and Yotsuba are the only ones (for now at least) who see and treat Fuutarou as an equal.
Yotsuba is the character I knew about going in. She’s honest, athletic, immediately warm and friendly to people, and always cheerful. In another show, she’d be the childhood friend who can’t win because she’s too nice to everybody and it’d be too easy. I love her, she’s great. I don’t know what happens, but I do know something happens with Yotsuba, so I’m kind of expecting a Stepford smiler twist or something. The fact that there is an unknown childhood friend aspect to the series makes me wonder if it’s her.
Itsuki exudes “main character” energy. She’s definitely the Taiga to the MC’s Ryuuji and on top of that is the first girl we see him meet, so she’s basically the “designated winner”. She’s the classical tsundere archetype, and like Taiga she has a unique familial bond with Fuutarou seeing as she’s met his family already and sometimes visits. She has the most complicated relationship with the MC, so her scenes are usually pretty good. I like her!
If I didn’t know any better, I’d say Itsuki is the shoe in “winner” and that rooting for Miku is totally pointless, but I guess it’s about the journey, not the destination.

Hello! Would you please write about Tara carpenter from scream and reader being twins and how their dynamic is and would evolve over the films?
Tara Carpenter and Twin Reader Dynamic Through the Scream Films
Before the First Film:
1. Tara and Reader have always been inseparable, sharing a strong twin bond. However, their personalities diverge: Tara is more fiery and determined, while Reader is often the calmer, more introspective sibling.
2. Growing up in Woodsboro, they navigated the town's dark history together, often leaning on each other to process the gruesome stories they grew up hearing about.
3. Their mutual love for movies is a cornerstone of their bond. Reader prefers classic thrillers while Tara leans more into horror, but movie nights are sacred to them.
During Scream (2022):
4. When the Ghostface killings resurface, Tara's near-death experience becomes a pivotal moment for their relationship. Reader is fiercely protective, refusing to leave Tara's side despite the dangers.
5. Reader blames themselves for not being there when Tara was attacked, creating a sense of guilt that pushes them to take on a more active role in protecting her.
6. As Sam enters the picture, Tara and Reader share mixed feelings about their older sister. While Tara harbours resentment, Reader tries to mediate, hoping to mend their fractured family.
7. The climactic events at Amber's house strengthen Tara and Reader’s bond. Fighting side by side against Ghostface, they realize how much they mean to each other.
Between Films:
8. Healing together is a slow process. Tara struggles with lingering trauma, and Reader becomes her emotional anchor, often putting their feelings aside to support her.
9. Despite their shared experiences, they deal with the aftermath differently: Tara focuses on regaining her independence, while Reader becomes more cautious and overprotective.
10. This difference in coping occasionally causes friction, with Tara accusing Reader of smothering her, but they always come back to understanding each other.
During Scream VI:
11. Moving to New York City for college presents new challenges. Tara embraces the change as a way to move forward, while Reader struggles with anxiety about leaving the past behind.
12. Reader is wary of the crowded city and the new people in their lives, often feeling like the outsider in Tara's growing friend group.
13. When the killings begin again, Reader’s protective instincts kick in, creating tension as Tara insists she can handle herself.
14. A heart-to-heart during the chaos brings them closer. Tara admits she sometimes resents how much she relies on Reader, while Reader confesses their fear of losing Tara again.
Post-Scream VI:
15. Their bond is stronger than ever, forged in shared trauma and survival. While they still argue like any siblings, their understanding of each other runs deep.
16. Tara works on reclaiming her autonomy, with Reader supporting her while learning to prioritize their own needs too.
17. They establish a new routine of checking in on each other, no matter where life takes them. The twin bond remains unbreakable, a testament to everything they’ve survived together.
