I Start Counting! (1969)
"Len says even a murderer must have a family."
"Len says lots of things."
"But if he does, then one of them might know, mightn't they?"
"Not necessarily."
"If they were very close to him, understood him, they'd want to help him."
"Wynne, this man's mad. He doesn't know what he's doing. Sometimes, most of the time, he's perfectly normal and then - he just can't stop himself."

Greene's film is visually very interesting‚ shooting through doorways and windows and from lower#levels to capture both Agutter's POV and a sense of voyeurism. despite the subject it is mostly very tasteful‚ and there are interesting#parallels drawn between the coming of age story and local land development (the age of the new towns) and of Agutter's character's Catholic#faith both as (semi failed) source of order and comfort‚ but also as a source of isolation and loneliness (an adoptee‚ she is the only#catholic in the family). Agutter is brilliant (isn't she always‚ but always startling to see just how strong she was even so young)#as is the often overlooked Marshall. includes a blink and you'll miss it walk on by a very young Phil Collins (yes that one) which is..odd

I Start Counting ** (1969, Jenny Agutter, Bryan Marshall, Clare Sutcliffe) - Classic Movie Review 10,066
I Start Counting ** (1969, Jenny Agutter, Bryan Marshall, Clare Sutcliffe) – Classic Movie Review 10,066
The 1969 British horror thriller I Start Counting is not too bad for a stalk and slash movie and it is all eerily handled by efficient director David Greene
Start counting the false clues in this hokey, but occasionally genuinely creepy version of Audrey Erskine Lindop’s psychological thriller, with an up-front attitude to sex.
The 16-year old Jenny Agutter (playing 14) grabs a big early chance…

Clare Sutcliffe found the shift from sleeping in a doorway in Soho to a king-size bed in a central-London hotel very disorientating. After 15 months sleeping rough, she found it hard to relax and really believe she was in a safe space

Deep Dive Patient Engagement
Patient engagement has moved from a lofty goal to a tangible part of most pharma companies’ businesses – but there are still many untapped areas where the industry can harness this transformative concept.
In this issue of Deep Dive we look at several new avenues for using patient engagement to make a meaningful difference, and highlight some key success stories from the last few years. And since digital is such a key part of patient engagement, we have a special focus on how new technologies can help patients and how pharma can encourage their adoption.
Patient-partnered drug discovery: vision or reality? Paul Tunnah talks to Anthony Yanni, global head, patient centricity, Astellas US, about why partnering with patients is the cornerstone for change throughout the drug development lifecycle.
True pharma-patient co-creation A recent MS patient group forum hosted by Merck KGaA demonstrates the power of true co-creation with patients.
Learning from online patient support groups Online patient communities are now a staple of the healthcare landscape, giving the sector greater opportunities to understand and tackle unmet need.
Boosting trial recruitment through patient engagement The industry still struggles with trial recruitment. Clare Grace and Olivia Hunt from Syneos Health tell us where the biggest opportunities lie.
Designing digital solutions that drive adoption Securing adoption for digital patient solutions might sound simple, but it requires careful work during the design and development process.
Shaping the patient-centric evolution of HTA Patient engagement is one of the most important drivers for improving healthcare delivery but approaches by European health technology assessment (HTA) bodies vary.
Preparing for the digital journey We sat down with Sandoz’s head of digital Andre Heeg to discuss where digital pharma is heading and how companies can make sure they always keep the patient in mind during this transformation.
Digital therapeutics grow up Digital therapeutics have been hailed as a game-changer for pharma and patients, but are they keeping up with the hype?
Engaging the empowered patient Success requires addressing behaviour from the individual’s perspective, as well as a socio-cultural and environmental context, says Kantar’s Andy Stankus
‘Generation R’ and the next decade of patient engagement Relationship recrudescence; inertia, cynicism and complacency must not prevail, says Nexgen Healthcare Communications’ Emma Sutcliffe

Code Club
During this week’s class, Chris talked about this website call Code Club which has been created by Clare Sutcliffe and is an award winning platform which is striving to shape the future in your youth by introducing code at a young age. Code Club is a non-profit organisation which main goal is to introduce code to people at the age of 9 -13. This has proven to be a very successful platform which is growing rapidly by the day.

Chris discussed about this site called code club created by Clare Sutcliffe. Code club is an organisation set up for children aged 9-13 to help them learn coding. The interesting thing about his site is that it is FREE. As previously discussed money may not be the way to go when it comes to providing the education service since people may not have that luxury to afford it. This is just a good example of an idea that has worked and provided no cost to the consumer.

ixd303 - Revisiting Code club
https://codeclub.org/en/
Even though I’ve made really good progress so far with my designs, I still feel as though something is missing. Thinking over my product idea, it just doesn’t feel like it’s a viable product and doesn’t have anything that makes it stand out from my peers, and other competitors.
Very early on, I had a brief look at Code Club, as I thought it was an interesting concept. I was also fortunate enough to see the founder Clare Sutcliffe talk at https://newadventuresconf.com/2019/. Revisiting Code Club gave me a completely fresh look at how I can adapt my product. The main concept is that there are hundreds of Code Clubs around the world, where kids can go to learn code after school.
Thinking through it a bit more, what if I was to combine the idea of Code Club, and pair it with my product? Eureka!
To summarise, my ‘new’ idea is there will be Design Track centres across the country. You complete the learning online, and visit the centres to receive in-person help with designers.
The centres could even be used to harbour a community through design talks, meet ups, and other events!
