Bu yaklaşım; yapının yer aldığı kente ve tüm dünyaya karşı küresel sorumluluğunun farkında olarak, kullanıcıların ihtiyaçlarını karşılayan dinamik ve uyarlanabilir bir kurguyu esas almaktadır. Bu yarışmada amaçlanan; çevresel sorunlara, sermaye ve mühendislikle çözülmeye çalışılan birçok soruna tasarım yoluyla çözüm üretilmesidir. Dönem boyunca; “Bu mega yapıların sosyal, kültürel, çevresel, tarihi ve kentsel sorumlulukları nelerdir?” sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. "Whump World!" is a series of short 'whump' stories acted out as a full fledged audio-drama series. Each story features an inhuman whumpee character going through a particularly intense experience that will keep your mind super engaged and reeling for a satisfactory ending!

This story features Alek- an unfortunate captured merman who ends up at the mercy of humans in the middle of the street. Will he escape the humans cruelness and get back home? Or will they only inflict more pain to him? Find out in this very first chapter of "Whump World!"

CityScraper - Front half is thick with scales, latter half of body is smooth skin. Horribly cranky. Upheaves its surroundings when disturbed, despite the natural ability to phase thru objects and avoid physical damage it seems to prefer a tantrum over fleeing. For such reasons it makes sense that it would live a lonely existence- disagreeable at best and violent at worst, this form demands solitude. While the teeth and spines are innumerable and crystalline-thin, they rattle and clash together in anger with the sound of clanging steel. All light that passed thru the transparent material is diffracted a bright seafoam green. Sometimes can be caught on recording rumbling a song of sorts, while not one we can understand, it fills us with longing and sadness.

Pinhead - A halo of metallic pins always surrounds their head. Produces a vibrating, humming sound and induces nausea in its presence within 300ft. The rib-like extensions along its flanks are mobile, twitching like finger joints when spotted. Relishes in unsettling its observers, sometimes chasing and trapping them with no escape just to watch as its victims squirm and become sick from its presence while never laying a finger to them. Pulls at the "spines" in its arms to produce even more intensely nausea-inducing hums, no ends to these spines has ever been observed, sliding in its flesh with seemingly infinite length. Loses interest after a few hours, letting out a heavy sigh and sliding away into oblivion. If its victims lose consciousness they always find themselves back home after the encounter

FEED ME - a heavyset form that can be identified by its deep, rumbling voice, a voracious appetite, a penchant for swing music, and the light blue colouration of its inner mouth that pervades all forms it takes. Only consumes raw, fresh meat, blood, or a particular brand of pre-processed pseudo-meat called "nuggets" from a chain food company on Earth ((gleaned on accident by human workers who found it attracted to their lunch on several occasions.)) Feeds by manipulating and taking control of cohorts to retrieve substance for it. Doppelgangers do not need to eat, but this one in particular seems to have become enraptured by consuming as much as it can. Takes great pleasure in being fawned over and delegating to its underlings, but in no way returns the affections. For a hulking and seemingly uncoordinated form, it takes great pleasure in dancing, but it feels less done out of joy and much more akin to a predator playing with its prey

the blob - ever-shifting, ever-hungry, this form cannot be satisfied as easily as many others. For an adult form, it is quite plain, having no focus on its on development but instead focused on consuming as much as it can fit into its body, both literally and figuratively. like all Doppelgangers, consuming nourishment is not necessary, but this form insistently shoves anything new thru its fanged maw be it organic or inanimate. Remnants of the dissolved can sometimes be seen floating in its viscous body. It seems to always be on the cusp of falling apart, gelatinous chunks constantly slipping off and lopsided mouths filled with teeth gaping and disappearing in waves over its bloated body

Pale Man - Recognizable in our records for having a preferable form of a wurm-like creature with knobby limbs and a humanoid alter-persona that is suspected the culprit of a string of [REDACTED] in a small town on Earth in [REDACTED]. Humanoid form has not been seen in a millennia, but lore surrounding a gangly man in skin-like robes with misplaced eyes still haunts the inhabitants of the area, rumors of a creature that steals children used to keep offspring indoors after dark. Tail is usually kept long and thin with not discernible head, but can quickly split, curl, and branch out into mouths and rows of teeth with no match, striped patterning sliding on its skin in a hypnotic show. Its eyes pulsate colours in the dark, intriguing the foolish and striking fear into the knowing.

San Antonio Current NEWS ARTS MUSIC SCREENS FOOD & DRINK CALENDAR BEST OF SA SLIDESHOWS PROMOS + EVENTS SUBSCRIBE ADVERTISE Email Print Centro's Pat DiGiovanni Resigns Amid Ethical Investigation, Again Posted By Alex Zielinski on Wed, Nov 29, 2017 at 4:50 pm Downtown San Antonio Pat DiGiovanni If you're up on city politics, you've probably heard by now that Centro San Antonio CEO Pat DiGiovanni has resigned as the city investigates an elaborate embezzlement scheme linked to the downtown development nonprofit (that contracts with the city). Here's the quick and dirty rundown: According to Centro officials who spoke with San Antonio Express-News' Josh Baugh Tuesday, an internal investigation recently uncovered that a former Centro employee had embezzled $175,000 over a two-year period. That unnamed accountant, who was fired in early November, had allegedly fabricated two audits and numerous fake documents to swipe the thousands without being detected. The employee was supposed to be working with an outside auditing firm Centro had selected to conduct annual audits. A few phone calls, however, revealed that the firm had no contract with Centro and never worked with the employee. It appeared those audits had been authored by the employee alone. This employee had allegedly created a fake website, email address, letterhead, and identity to cover her tracks, lawyers said. The San Antonio Police Department has begun a criminal investigation into the well-orchestrated scheme. Which makes sense. What doesn't entirely make sense is why this scandal prompted DiGiovanni to step down so quickly. The story we're hearing from Centro officials makes it seem like the problem was solved when the accountant was fired. The ex-employee was a bad seed that got the boot — and SAPD will handle the rest. The Centro board of directors released a statement assuring that DiGiovanni had "absolutely nothing to do with the financial indiscretions," but "the board and he both felt his resignation was in the best interest of Centro San Antonio.” If DiGiovanni had absolutely no connection to the embezzlement scheme, why leave? Now is arguably a moment when Centro needs him the most. Wouldn't the nonprofit want to maintain an unfaltering appearance — led by a resilient leader — to help iron out this kind of PR disaster? But, that's not in the "best interest" of Centro. As these allegations bubble to the surface, it's hard to ignore DiGiovanni's ethically rocky past. DiGiovanni came to San Antonio in 2006, recruited by City Manager Sheryl Sculley to join her office as a deputy city manager. A year earlier, DiGiovanni had resigned from his role as city manager for Kalamazoo, Michigan, shortly after firing an African-American staffer who had made allegations of racism in the city department. Community outcry led to DiGiovanni stepping down a week after firing the staffer (who later sued the city of Kalamazoo for claims of institutional racism). DiGiovanni's next career move was equally bumpy. As deputy city manager, DiGiovanni led San Antonio's 2012 search committee to find the right developers to land San Antonio's largest-ever construction project: tearing down half of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center just to rebuild it a block away. While this was going on, DiGiovanni was meeting privately with David Zachry, a local developer and vice chairman of Centro, to negotiate DiGiovanni's future position as Centro CEO. The week after DiGiovanni sealed the deal with Centro for his new job, his city committee awarded the $325 million convention center project to Zachry Corp — yup, that's David Zachry's firm. Unsurprisingly, this was a violation of the city's ethics rules. But while the city's Ethics Review Board decided that yes, DiGiovanni had clearly broken these rules, they did nothing to reprimand him — it was the judicial equivalent of a shrug. DiGiovanni said he was "embarrassed," and clambered to the top of Centro's administration. From his position as Centro CEO, he's led city "stakeholders" (mostly downtown developers and business owners) in informing major city budgetary decisions. The city's 2017 bond recommendations on which large-scale city projects get public funding were nearly identical to the suggestions the Centro stakeholders made to the city in 2016. That's why, with a track record like DiGiovanni's, it's hard to take his latest career decision at face value. In an interview with the Rivard Report (a Centro-sponsored nonprofit that's unapologetically defended DiGiovanni's ethical missteps in the past), DiGiovanni said, "I don't want to be a distraction." That time may have come and gone. We still don't know where DiGiovanni's headed yet, but with his history in city government and the city's Tricentennial Celebration on the horizon (which has its own ethical wrinkles), maybe it's time San Antonio took a break from DiGiovanni.
