Keeping up with the Waynes

Me, to camera: Welcome to a Legends of Tomorrow mission in time. Today, we are in Hamunaptra on June 12, 1926. Now, why, you may ask, are we in the Egyptian desert in the middle of summer? Well, that's because an ancient evil has come back to life, and our dear friend Evelyn Carnahan has asked for our assistance.

*Cue Gary being chased by a screaming Mummy in the background, Tom and Jerry style*

Ava Sharpe (Director, Time Bureau): It's always a lot of fun. Lots of laughs and adrenaline.

*Cue Gary being chased by said screaming Mummy who is being chased by Spencer and John Constantine*

Sara Lance (White Canary/ Captain): Sometimes we run into problems, but we are usually able to resolve them. We've only broken the timeline twice.

*Cue Gary hanging from a statue while screaming Mummy is boxing with Mick Rory (Heat Wave) for about ten seconds before being frozen in place by an ice ray from Leonard (Leo) Snart (Captain Cold)'s freeze gun*

Ray Palmer (The Atom): We've been all throughout time at this point. We've fought wizards, assassins, immortal psychopaths, out own team, zombies, medieval knights. I don't think we've ever fought Mummies.

*Cue Mummy breaking free and screaming before running off after Zari Tomaz (1/2 of the Air Totem wielder Zari), who promptly sends him flying against a wall*

Nathaniel (Nate) Haywood (Citizen Steel), sitting beside Ray: No, I don't think we have fought mummies before.

Ray: Hey, this is a positive learning experience that I hope we can use to further our skills.

Nate: Yeah, bro. *Fistbumps Ray*

Sara: NATE! RAY! GET OVER HERE!

*Cue Nate and Ray jumping up to help and promptly tripping over each other and faceplanting*

Zari Tarazi (Other half of Air Totem wielder Zari): Yeah, we enjoy what we do.

*While Zari 2 is speaking, cue Nate picking up Mummy and slamming him into the ground. A second later, entire team dogpiles him*

Zari 2: It's such a healing thing to be able to help others.

*Half of Mummy's face flies past her*

Zari 2: *Smiles*

*Camera cuts*

This scene bugged the hell out of me. It's labeled "Commander Steel" which was the name of the Golden Age hero. From the dialogue, however, it's obvious that this is Steel (no "Commander") from the Justice League Detroit. So Steel is back again? And calling himself Commander Steel? Does this mean that he's running around AND there's a Citizen Steel still out there? Yeah, Citizen Steel -- from the Geoff Johns' JSA. If I had to guess... I'd think that Tom King confused Citizen Steel and Steel and Commander Steel.

Raven’s odd romances

So… I’m bored and for the first time ever. I decided to do something really weird. I’ve decided to take a DC character. This time around I’m doing Raven cause she’s my favourite, and put her with a male character that she hasn’t (As far as I know) been shipped with. This time around I’m only doing DC male character’s.

Rules:

The need to be males within her sort of age bracket. So basically anyone between Nightwing’s age and Damians. Cause that’s the ages we’ve seen her as. So no Superman or Batman. Absolutely not Constantine. I find that to be extremely creepy.

No female characters because I feel they need there very own version and the male characters will get in the way.

Villains are included. I feel like it would make things more interesting.

If anyone wants to do something similar for amusement with a different character. Be my guest, it you wish to suggest a character for the next one. Let me know.

For those wondering… this was really hard! The shifting age’s thing is really annoying and plus you have to ask yourself. How much age difference do characters need before it gets… weird. I chose 10 years difference. Question? How’d I do?😋
