i was trying to come up with something 4 the ask game.... but it all ended up sounding stupid so heres smth for it i pulled off the top of my head: “we’ll burn that bridge when we get to it.”

Childhood friends AU, between Gokudera Hayato and Sawada Tsunayoshi

They both, purely by coincidence, met during a family trip to Kokuyo Healthy Land, way before it closed down.

Gokudera is on a trip with his father, stepmother, and Bianchi. Tsuna, with his mother and father.

The two meet by chance and become friends for the day, vowing to be each other’s best friends, despite knowing that when the day ends they likely won’t ever see each other again. They pinky swear on this! It’s a very serious vow!

The day ends and they go their separate ways, and years pass. They both nearly forget about it, it being a faded memory of childhood more than anything else. They were six, what would you expect?

Tsuna, at 13, is deemed heir to the Vongola, as it’s 10th boss. Reborn comes to town, and along with him, Gokudera Hayato.

Gokudera expects a battle, to test the next heir, and instead he comes face to face with someone he once knew, from a long-gone memory.
