I’ve been trying to keep busy at home while I look for a new job. Taro and Tofu have been decent company while the housemates are at work, although they do sleep most of day. I’ve been able to finish three books this year already, and it’s been really fun to get back to reading, but now I’m trying to get my friends to read, too. I’ve also been playing Okami because I’ve never played it before. It’s really different from what I imagined, but fun!

How did cinder create Ouranos and Cassandra? Like what was the process like? And how much of it was made by cinder? and what was made by the other 2 gods if anything?

cinder created ouranos, then got bored and abandoned it. she was very young and at the time, she was fickle and roamed from place to place. eventually she came back to see that her planet had a moon with life on it, and started paying attention to it again. eventually she created humans so that she could have someone to talk to.

daksari and cadaver have their own collection of creations, but gods arent supposed to actually talk to and communicate with their creations (dak’s rule, she believes gods are above their creations and its embarrassing to stoop so low as to mingle with them)

bit insane to think that I was alive and paying attention to movies during the dolanaissance of the 2010s and actually got to experience the brilliance of those 8 films he just kept putting out one after the other all the hype and the drama and the scrambling to find somewhere to watch as soon as possible. and now it's pretty much over

Yesterday was the birthday of a friend of mine. Although they are no longer with us, they are far from forgotten.

"You didn't tell me it was a concert!" the tall queen exclaimed, following Jiwoon in the audience as he made his way closer to the stage. Well, there she was. Her very first concert. Quite intimidating, even for Hyacinthe who was used to parties, to blasting music, but this was something else. "Do you know them?"

~Un giorno di fine stagione lei si recò per la prima volta nel locale di lui accompagnata da un amico. Quando mise piede nella piccola e accogliente sala, la prima cosa che fece e cercarlo con gli occhi, voleva assolutamente farsi notare per rivolgergli una saluto. Era vestita in modo del tutto elegante, è nel suo stile esserlo. Non lo vide e non ci fu lui ad accoglierli, ma una delle ragazze che serviva ai tavoli. I due amici si sedettero e ordinarono da bere due calici di vini: bianco per lei, rosso per lui. Quando vennero serviti, lei si accorge al primo assaggio che non era il vino richiesto, così, con il calice in mano, si alzò e si avviò verso il bancone bar per farselo sostituire. Deve solo fare pochi passi e d’un tratto: “ciao!”, si sentì dire. Lei rimase interdetta per pochi secondi, non si aspetta di certo di trovare lui, lì proprio in quell’istante in cui doveva farsi cambiare vino?! o per meglio dire era quello che stava aspettando da quando mise piede, ossia di vederlo. “Ciao…”rispose lei facendo seguire al saluto il suo nome, e poi “… non è il vino che ho chiesto” proseguì, “volevo un vino mosso e questo mi sembra proprio fermo” continuò con un sorriso. Lui non la fece proseguire, le prese il calice, lo ripose di fianco a lui e tranquillizzandola le elencò un paio di vini mossi che aveva a disposizione. Lei ne scelse uno che già conosceva e fu in quell’occasione che lo vide all’opera nel proprio mestiere. Lui fa il barman, oltre a essere il proprietario e l’ideatore di quel locale. “Grazie!” lei gli disse con il nuovo calice in mano, lui prese quello che fino a qualche secondo fa aveva accantonato, lo alzò, lo portò davanti al viso e dirigendolo verso di lei colse l’occasione per fare un brindisi assieme. Fu quello il loro primo “cin-cin”.~ 💎
