Many of us are spending the majority of our holidays stuffing ourself into a little box that shouldn't exist.

We're stuffing down our feelings.

We're stuffing down our true selves all for fear of being ostracized or disturbing the peace.

We've been taught that is the polite thing to do.

And guess what? Our body is bursting at the seams to release our true identity. It's showing up as autoimmune diseases, chronic pain, sore throats, and a variety of other unexplainable illnesses.

I’m really excited to be selling this new POTS enamel pin (actual enamel!!! 💖 lovely spoonies! 😊). It took ages to find a manufacturer that could create this exact design, as the pink heart monitor line is really hard to do without an outline. I ended up going with a special printed design and epoxy coating, and am super happy with the result!!. ✨🖤✨ POTS can be a complicated chronic disease that is life changing. This pin is to raise awareness of this illness. This 'So Tachy' Pin is a commentary on the Tachycardia symptoms of POTS, and is to raise awareness of this illness. ✨💖✨💕 Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) can be a life altering and debilitating chronic health condition. Simply standing up can be a challenge for people with PoTS as their body is unable to adjust to gravity. PoTS is characterised by orthostatic intolerance (the development of symptoms when upright that are relieved by lying down). Symptoms include headaches, fatigue, palpitations, sweating, nausea, fainting and dizziness and are associated with an increase in heart rate from the lying to upright position of greater than 30 beats per minute, or a heart rate of greater than 120 beats per minute within 10 minutes of standing. I’m kind of obsessed with this sparkly brave little pin. I’m the kind of person who tends to soldier on and doesn’t talk too much about all my spoonie symptoms to others (not healthy I know, maybe it’s a British thing? 😅). But this pin is one of 2 (the lovely brain fog one) that I tend to wear now, just to feel like, yeah - I’ve done amazing to have even gotten out of bed with an arthritis flare this morning... or to be up even and functioning just a little the night after passing out with pain and having a seizure due to stomach blockage 🙃😳🙃💖 Us spoonies are just blooming awesome with all the things we endure on a daily basis 💪🏾✨💖🌈 And that’s why this stylish little pin is great for those days when coping admirably is the most awesome thing you do... no matter how many spoons you have (or don't have...🙃✨🥄💜).
