I think the feeling that God gets when we lift our hands up to worship him. Isn’t much different than the feeling a parent gets when their child lifts their hands up in asking to be picked up. I think we all just want to be picked up by God, and God is more than willing to do so.

“Trust His Heart” by Babbie Mason:
“All things work for our good
Though sometimes we don't see
How they could
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth
Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
So when your pathway grows dim
And you just don't see Him,
Remember you're never alone
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His Heart
He sees the master plan
And he holds our future in His hand,
So don't live as those who have no hope,
All our hope is found in Him
We see the present clearly
But He sees the first and the last
And like a tapestry He's weaving you and me,
To someday be just like Him
He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His Heart.”

Daniel 10:12-14
12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”

Our Pastor ended up not preaching today because, during the last song of worship, one of the vocalists burst into tears while singing. Pastor saw and came up onto the stage and announced that God was moving in the sanctuary, and that He could do more in a single moment than she could do with 45 minutes of blah-blah-ing (Her words, lol!) and that she was going to let the Holy Spirit dictate the service today. She also called anyone who needed a breakthrough to approach the stage and- almost the ENTIRE congregation stepped away from their seats and clustered up with each other, weeping together! I was on-stage with the vocalists and and I'd never seen such a powerful service. Even all our Pastors began crying. 💕
Needless to say, Pastor is saving her sermon for next week, and we spent our time singing and worshipping and ministering to each other. Now THAT'S what I call a Pentecostal service! 🥰

Praise God In Despite of Your Circumstances....
🫲 😔 🫱
Kari Jobe is one of my top favorite Chistian Worship artists, right along with Davy Flowers. I easily can listen to their music over and over. Their voices carry an unique soothing, elegance, but also an authoritative and confident air. Both their songs and vocals weave biblical truths into being by power of the Holy Spirit. There is no doubt to that ! These two Women of God are beautifully using their gifts and talents for expand His Kingdom. It's my dream and ambition to be able to do the same with my own artistic abilities. I pray that is right around the corner! 🙏❤️

Dreamology
Dreamology: A Modern Interpretation of Oneirology with AI, Quantum Knowledge, and Neuroscience Dreams have fascinated humanity for millennia, serving as both a source of wonder and a subject of inquiry. Traditional oneirology (the study of dreams) has explored their psychological and physiological dimensions, but with the advent of modern technologies like artificial intelligence, quantum…

Unpopular opinion
This probably only applies to me and my experience in my church community, but I want less recording in service.
I don't mean to sound like a person who is trying to "hide" something from the public, as if to say, "ohhh we can't let ANYONE ever see what we do in our temple, we have to cover stuff up."
I also do not mean it as a person who is anti-technology, because I am not in that extreme.
However, I don't know what it is, if it's just something everyone does or if the people who run the social media account are being encouraged to record with their phone; but I don't think we have to capture almost every moment of worship or a preaching!
If we have a visitor from outside the state, and they play something really beautiful or give a really impactful word-then by all means, record a snippet. Share on the page and it might find its way to someone who needs it.
But I think if people are deep in their worship, if its a moment where we should be connected in the spirit and meditating, why are you, unspecified individual, going to disconnect and start recording people? It can get really vulnerable in those situations or something maybe an unbeliever doesn't understand is happening, so why are you sharing that with everyone? Some stuff is to be lived in the present, not documented for later.
This might also have to do with the fact that I am very camera shy and don't like the idea of my face being everywhere, although, I have the benefit of usually not ended up on the videos when it can be helped.
All this to say, I think a couple people in my church could stand to not record and just be present in what God is doing, not trying to get it on camera to later show others. I'm not saying this can't be a blessing in its own right, I just think it can be unnecessary .

favor counter culture 2024
Got a chance to attend a Christian Concert (my first time!) this Saturday. Cyril had an extra ticket and I said I was interested coz I've been hearing good things about Christian worship that I wanted to experience.
I also knew I needed it.
Tumblr media
So many questions I had were answered. Questions that have been haunting me, my worries, and my anxiety.
One word: Clarity
Another word: Grabe!
I was given clarity and I learned so much. I already knew that God does things behind your back, and how everything is in God's will, but it hits different when you realize how it happens to you. How God works for your sake.
I am a person who never puts expectations on anyone or anything (as much as possible) because it only leads to disappointment. But during worship, we were told to put our expectations on God. That we can expect from God because He will deliver. 🥲
You don't know how much that meant to me. I won't explain it. Iykyk.
Tumblr media
I also learned a few things on love, which is one of my – I don't want to say "struggles" but fine. And, again, I was given clarity about the situation I was going through. I wish I could tell you all about it but I would never. Haha!
I don't know how to share the experience any more than the word Grabe. Anyone would be moved with how strong the community was with their faith and worship.
My biggest learning was how important it was to make God your anchor. Let Him be your anchor and everything else will follow.
