I don’t care what anyone says. Chrissy Cunningham is canonically traumatized by her fatphobic mother to the point where she has internalized fatphobia (even though she’s not fat in the slightest) and struggles with body image issues/body dysmorphia, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like fat women… because she does. It’s possible to struggle with your own body image and to fear/worry about becoming fat yourself while still loving fat women. Is it unlikely? Yes, probably so. But is it still possible? YES!!! So, for my fellow plus-sized babes who worry about whether Chrissy would actually like them or whether she would body shame them:
Yes, Chrissy would like you. She would fucking love you. She would think you’re so hot and so sexy and so gorgeous not in spite of you being fat, but because you’re fat. Chrissy would love your body because it’s yours and because it’s beautiful.
She wouldn’t body shame you. Chrissy wouldn’t pressure you into being smaller, eating less, etc. She would love you for who you are. Chrissy struggles with her own body image, but one thing she’s certain about is that you’re the most beautiful person she’s ever seen, with all your luscious, ample curves and dimpled, pillowy flesh.
Chrissy fucking loves you and if she heard the way you think about and talk to yourself, all overly critical and mean, she’d be so upset because she thinks you’re truly wonderful. <3

Your Beauty Never Ever Scared Me | Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Eddie had lost track of how long or for how much he had ran away, making it to the bridge that connected Hawkins to the so called haunted forest
He breathed heavily as he saw into the woods, he swallowed thickly as he made it in
Walking around he saw nothing that seemed haunted or out of place
"This is so stupid. I'm so stupid!" He kicked a rock "I can't get married! I don't even know how to cook!" He huffed
He remembered a story one of friends told him, that suposedly a ghost haunted the woods, a bride who had been killed before she could wed the love of her life
"The story goes like this, a beautiful woman, wealthy and young, found the love of her life, a fine man that offered her even more wealth and love, she was so ravished and happy that nothing could have ever warned her of what was to come, her future husband had killed her family after stealing everything they had, and afterwards... He killed her, right in this woods... Some say you can hear her voice around... Some say she just died and that she's resting... Some don't believe the story to be true at all..."
Steve had told him this story when they were 13, his friend died from a cough months later...
He was his only friend and loosing him was terrible and scarred him
Eddie sat down on a trunk, pulling out the ring his uncle had given him, that he didn't even have the courage to put on his future wife
"I can't marry you Chrissy..."
"Some say if you ask the woman to marry her, she'll come out and take you with her to the Death Realm..."
He remembered those words from Steve, thinking it was stupid and that there was no way that would happen
"And what do I do to call her?"
"You say your vows, offer her a ring and get on one knee"
"Well... Here goes nothing I guess... With this hand I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine". He bowed down to one knee, holding you to the ring like he was offering it to someone
He waited and nothing happened, so he sighed and stood up, puting the ring on a root and walking away
He was not ready for a marriage with a girl like Chrissy... No, he couldn't marry her..
But he didn't expect what was coming...
.......................................................
At night, Eddie couldn't seem to fall asleep, turning around in bed he couldn't have peace
He thought of running away from town, maybe even faking his death, but no, nothing would help him get out of this marriage...
"I can't... I don't want to..."
Suddenly his window opened and a gust of cold air hit him, he stood up to close it and when he turned, a woman was standing behind him, he gasped and clutched his chest
"Y-you... You came..."
"You called..." She answered
"Are you...?"
"The Corpse Bride..."
He gulped heavily "I... You... You're dead?"
She nodded, showing him her skeleton arm and bony fingers, he chuckled, she stepped closer
"What's your name..?"
"Y/n Y/l/n..."
"It's a beautiful name..." He walked closer "I'm Edward Munson, everyone calls me Eddie..."
The girl smiled at him, placing her hand on his face, she was incredibly cold that he flinched
"Sorry, I'm kinda cold" she humors him and he laughed with her
"It's okay..."
She was there for a reason, and she wanted to know what it was
"Why did you call me... My dear?"
He sighed, grabbing her hand that held his face "I'm being forced to marry a girl I don't know and most certainly, don't love..."
Y/n sighed "That's horrible Eddie..." He loved how sweetly she said his name "I can save you..." She whispered at him "Can I save you...?"
He nodded, looking into her dead eyes "Yes... Please save me... I'll do anything"
"Shhh, you don't have to do anything, just let me take you with me..." She stepped closer
He closed his eyes and kisses her, her lips were so cold and lifeless but also welcoming and perfect
She was the one he was destined for... The one he wanted to marry...
Even if she was a corpse...

Pet: has a cnc kink
Also pet: stabs and bites a chunk of a guys neck because his vibe was threatening, pouts because his blood ruined her shoes
VIOLENT PET YES!!!! Pet who yes looks non-threatening and innocent who was given a pocket knife by Eddie. And learned basic defense skills from Chrissy. And on her own is just feral. Breaking a guys finger because he put his hands on her waist.
So when a shady guy approaches her, hand hidden in his pocket. On a dark street when she’s alone, her first instinct is to bite! Running away after to get to a pay phone. Calling Eddie since he drives fast and can get to her quicker. When he shows up pet’s covered in blood and crying. Not crying because she’s scared but crying because the fucker ruined her white shirt!! Crying because she’s upset she had to ruin her cute outfit that Chrissy carefully picked out!

Chapter 1 Here
As your alarm went off that following Monday, you stayed completely frozen in bed. That Sunday morning prior, you awoke to an empty house and a note telling you that your car was outside and your things were by the door whenever you were ready to leave.
You were unsure of what to do. Do you leave your number? Do you wait and confront them? Did they just want this to be a one-time thing? Were you supposed to pretend nothing happened?
Now with the new week starting, you had brand new concerns like if Martin would be in class and what would he even say or do?
Braving the outside world, you got dressed and headed for your first class. As you stepped inside, you were thankful Martin wasn’t there but your bliss was short lived when a hand lightly but firmly ushered you forward.
“Find a seat Miss Y/L/N.”, Eddie commands without so much as a cursory glance your way as he heads towards his desk. As the class continues, he avoids your eyes, choosing to look anywhere else as he speaks making you feel extremely self-conscious as you hug your arms around your body.
“Alright, you guys are free. Get out of here. Miss Y/L/N, can you stay behind please?”
“Yeah, of course.”
While you wait for the class to leave, your eyes take in his slightly agitated frame. His hair was a bit more messy than normal and his clothes were not as put together as before. The aroma of cigarettes was heavier around him and even as you slowly walked towards his desk at the front of the room, he still didn’t look your way.
“D-D-Did I do something wrong?”
“Uh, no, Y/N; Steve and I did.” When his beautiful hues finally met yours, they seemed so hollow as if he hadn’t slept. “What happened was a mistake and can’t…WON’T…happen again. To avoid any further confusion, I would recommend you get a transfer to another literature class or drop my class entirely. I’d be more than happy to sign a form for you.”
Your eyes widen as he speaks completely thrown off guard. You could understand if they wanted it to be a one-time thing but to say it was a mistake…that hurt.
“I don’t want to drop or transfer.”, you whisper.
“Yeah, well, this isn’t just about you, sweetheart.”, he responded curtly making you angry.
“Fuck you.”
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me. Fuck you. If you didn’t want me you should have just took me back home.”
“Forgive us for considering your feelings and shit. We wanted to make sure you were ok.”
“By fucking me like a whore!”
“Lower…your…voice.”, Eddie growled as he started to step around his desk, pausing when you backed away.
“I didn’t think it was a mistake.”, you mumble.
The professor chuckled condescendingly as he folded his arms over his chest.
“I wouldn’t expect you to, little girl, but like I said, WE fucked up. Go back to your pathetic little life and forget about us.”
“Did you give Chrissy Cunningham the same option?”, you sass under your breath, immediately regretting your words when his chocolate irises shift your way and you see the pain behind them.
“HEY!”
You jump at Steve’s booming voice as he enters the classroom and promptly hang your head feeling like a small child getting caught saying a bad word. His presence towers heavily over you as he places himself just inches in front of your frame.
“That’s your professor and MY partner. You will show him respect.”
Blinking away tears, you find the courage to meet his equally annoyed gaze.
“Or what? You’ll punish me? I’m a mistake according to your partner!”
Grabbing your arm tightly, the coach starts shoving you towards Eddie’s office in the back corner with the professor himself slamming it closed behind him.
“Lower your goddamn voice.” Sighing, he turned to his boyfriend. “Did you tell her?”
“I emphasized that we made a mistake but she doesn’t seem to agree.”
“Why are you doing this? Did you…I thought…was I that bad?”, you ask in a small voice that shatters their hearts to pieces and falters their hardened demeanors.
“No, Y/N—”
“I don’t understand then. I thought you were attracted me.”
“We were…are…—”
“Were you just using me? Is that why you two were gone when I woke up?”
“STOP INTERRUPTING ME! Jesus Christ! I’m trying to fucking tell you something here! You did NOTHINGwrong. Do you hear me? Nothing. Eddie was right. You’re a twenty something student who’s so fucking beautiful she deserves to be seen and live her fucking life! We’ve been hiding for 10 years, Y/N, I assure you it’s no picnic.”
“Sweetheart, we liked being with you and not just the sex the part. It was nice to feel needed for once… but like he said…It’s not just because you’re a student. There’s so much more to it. You deserve better.”
Wiping your eyes, you nod as you stand up straighter.
“You could have just said that… Um, I’m sorry for what I said to you, Mr. Munson and giving you both attitude. I-I-I would like to stay in the class please. I promise I won’t…make trouble.”
Eddie nods as you flash them a small smile and quickly run out the door to collect your things.
#############
The next month went by with little to note as you floated through your days. Eddie barely looked your way during class and when you ran on the track Steve was never there. The one time you did see him was as Martin’s father was stomping out of the locker room and you got a glimpse of the coach fuming in his office.
Focusing on your production, you continued to rehearse your lines repeatedly till you had them down to a T but when it came to your scenes with the boy playing Rocky you found yourself slightly nervous and it wasn’t just because he was gorgeous to look at.
Every time he glanced your way during any scene he was in made you blush. One day, you were doing a dress rehearsal with him wearing only gold boxers and you with your bra, panties, and a lab coat. When he walked out your eyes immediately ran over his delicious looking abs before averting your eyes so you didn’t get caught.
“Brad. Janet. What do you think of my creation?”
“Oh, well, I don’t like a man with too much muscle.”
The boy beamed in your direction before ducking his head like he was supposed to. As soon as you finished, you expected him to disappear to quickly put on some clothes but he lingered behind with you on stage.
“You’re really good at all this.”, he grins as he gestures around the auditorium.
“Oh, um, thank you. I haven’t seen you in any of my classes or any other productions. Are you a theater kid or did you just transfer?”
“Naw, the school said I had to have some kind of arts credit and I thought this would be fun. Mrs. Lilah comes to the arcade that I work at sometimes so I know she’s a cool, easy-going lady…kind of like you…but not as pretty.”
You giggle as you push some hair behind your ear and he smiles.
“Can I, um, may I have your number?”
After giving it to him, his smile grows as he extends his hand out to you.
“I’m Theodore but my friend’s call me Theo.”
“Y/N.”
As your hand connects with his, he playfully bows and kisses the back of it.
“I’ll talk to you later.”
You grin as you watch him run off stage but it’s wiped clean off your face when you turn to grab some of your things, coming face to face with Eddie who had been watching your interaction from one of the rows in the auditorium while your teacher was talking to him.
***
Throughout the week, Eddie began appearing at all the rehearsals and the last few times he brought Steve with him. You ignored them as best you could, doing your scenes and listening to what your director was telling you.
It wasn’t until the evening you had your scene with you ‘naked’ in the container with Theo that they said a word.
“Hey Liliah! Are you sure this play is a good idea? I mean having them getting caught being intimate and then you have two students that close together in front of an audience…like that.”, Eddie critiqued as you pretend to not be listening.
“Huh. Out of all the people in Hawkins I thought you would condone this more. Its expression and these students are consenting adults. Y/N! Theo! Do you two feel uncomfortable about the scene right now?”
“No ma’am.”, the boy responds with zero hesitation.
“No ma’am. I feel extremely comfortable and safe next to Theo here.”, you coo as you lean your head on his shoulder and he in turn wraps his arm around you.
As the night came to a close and you gathered your things behind the curtain, you were surprised to hear both men’s voices as they continued to sit in the auditorium.
“I fucking hate this, I hope you know that.”
“I know but we both agreed this was best.”, Steve exhaled heavily.
“Fuck, every time his hands touch her I just wanna—“, Eddie growls as his partner chuckles.
“Yeah and every time she allows it, I wish I could just throw her over my knee. You know she’s getting off on it though; making us jealous.”
“Well, it’s working because I want to fuck her so hard and make her scream my name repeatedly till she fucking remembers who she belongs to.”
A small groan leaves your lips at his words. You desperately wanted that to but they pushed you away. Theo seemed like a good man and if they insisted on not being with you there wasn’t much you could do.
############
Sitting in the bleachers Friday night, you clung to Theo’s hand as you two watched the football game unfold. Since Martin was removed from the team, Steve had a new quarterback in play and everyone was talking about it. Every missed throw or tackle had him growing angrier as he paced back and forth fuming.
People around you speculated what could have happened and parents condemned him for removing his star player from the team. If only they knew… Hell they’d probably take Martin’s side. Everyone in the town had a backwards way of thinking.
“Hey, are you alright?”, Theo asked, not realizing that you had squeezed his palm tighter.
“Yeah, just, um…hearing people talk…”
“About what happened with Martin?”, he inquired with a low tone so no one would hear. “The game’s almost over. Do you want to go for a walk?”
He grins when you nod, leading you down the row and towards campus.
“I’m sorry you went through that. Guy is a fucking dick.”
“Yeah, he is, but…”
“But nothing. Just because he’s king badass or whatever doesn’t mean he can hurt you like that. Have you heard anything yet from like the dean or anyone?”
“No, not yet. I haven’t even see Martin. I’m terrified what he’s going to do when we do run into each other.”
“I’ll protect you.”
“Oh, you will, huh?”, you smile as he flashes you his own.
“I will, babe. These abs just aren’t show!”, Theo chuckles. “So, um, are you like Janet? Are you not into guys with muscles?”
Biting your bottom lip, you blush as he grabs your arm to stop you two from walking down the hall.
“Because I can get some flab if you want me to. I can gain like a sexy paunch and—”
You laugh before tilting up on your toes to tenderly kiss his lips.
“I think you’re sexy just as you are.”
Theo’s hand slides behind your neck and brings your lips back to his, kissing you with much more passion as he walks you back into a classroom. Feeling something hard against your back, the boy doesn’t miss a beat as he lifts you onto the desk and you wrap your legs around his waist, pulling him closer to you as he grinds his hips against yours.
“I’m not…moving…too fast am I?”, he pants between kisses causing you to vigorously shake your head. “Good…your lips…taste really…really fucking good.”
“HEY!”
You both jump apart as Eddie and Steve angrily enter the classroom.
“The fuck do you think this is?! A bedroom!?”, your professor shouts. “Sex and making out on campus is prohibited but it’s definitely forbidden on my fucking desk.”
Glancing around the room, you realize you were in his classroom.
Shit.
“I swear, Mr. Munson, we didn’t know this was your room?”
“So, that makes it better?”, Steve snaps sharply. “You disrespecting other people’s property by grinding on it?”
“No, sir.”
“Please Mr. Munson, Coach Harrington, this isn’t her fault. I brought her in here—”
“She doesn’t have a mind of her own? From what I saw she was a willing participant.”, Eddie cut him off. “Get out of my sight and be lucky we don’t tell the dean or Lilah about this.”
“Yes, sir, thank you.”
Taking your hand in his, Theo starts to lead you to the door before Steve grabs your bicep.
“No. Don’t want you both leaving together and ending up in another room on campus. You can wait a few minutes, Miss Y/L/N.”
As soon as the door shuts and your date leaves, the coach tugs you roughly towards the office before Eddie bangs the door behind him.
“I’m sorry. I swear I didn’t know—”
“Face the wall.”, the coach commanded, growling when you hesitate. “I said face the wall and place your hands against it.”
Slowly, you do as he says, gasping when he roughly takes hold of your hips and brings them out more before lifting your skirt to expose your panty covered ass.
“I’m surprised she has panties on. Fucking little slut seemed so desperate for his cock.” Steve’s palm came down hard and you jerked forward at the feeling. “Don’t move! Keep your ass out.”
“Yes, sir, Mr. Harrington.”
In quick succession, he spanked you a couple more times, his hand grabbing at your flesh before delivering another. Fingers aggressively yank down your underwear and he spanks you again.
“Jesus, Ed, look at her. Fucking pussy is dripping. You’re so fucking needy aren’t you, little girl.” When you didn’t respond, he hit your behind much harder than before. “Answer me!”
“Yes…yes, sir, I’m a needy girl. Ahhhh…”, you whine as he hits you again.
Hearing him back away and shuffle around behind you causes you to turn your head but he immediately forces your face forward with his palm as he smushes your cheek into the wall.
“Don’t fucking look at me. You want to be a whore? We can treat you like a whore, Y/N.”
Running his tip through your folds, he guides himself into your entrance and sets a brutal pace allowing you no time to adjust like they had before. Out of the corner of your eye, you see one of his hands fall on the other side of your head as his other spanks you before gripping your hips.
“Is this what you—mmph—what you fucking wanted, little girl? You think that little boy can fuck you better? Huh?”
“No—mmm—no, Mr. Harrington.”
“That’s fucking right.”, Steve grunts as he slows his rhythm but not his intensity as he slams his cock deep inside you.
“Oh…Oh my god.”
“Yeah, you little slut? That’s the spot. I know, baby. I know how to please desperate, needy things like you.”
“I…I don’t…understand…”, you whine.
“What? What doesn’t your dumb little brain understand? Why you’re being punished?”
“Yeeeesss. This is what you—fuck—what you wanted.”
Pulling out, he spun you around, hooking his arm under the back of your knee to lift your leg and slides his length back inside of you.
“This is what we wanted? For you to fuck some other guy on Eddie’s desk? To…to touch him on stage while you’re practically fucking naked?”
Your hands tug on his hair forcing him to meet your lust filled gaze.
“I-I wanted you two.”
Your mouth falls open in a silent moan as you cling to the base of the neck and cum hard around him. Steve’s head falls onto your shoulder as he pounds his cock harder into your cunt chasing his release before gripping your hair tightly in his fingers and pushing you to your knees.
“Open!” You do what he says, moaning as he forces his dick into your mouth. “Look at me! Don’t take those eyes off me.” When your irises meet his honey ones, they flutter slightly as he thrusts his cock down your throat. “Th-That’s it, baby. I want this burned into that dumb little brain of yours. MMM! That way when you’re on your knees for him, you think of me.”
Steve grunts and his grip tightens as he spills down your throat. Your eyes never leave his as you swallow every drop he gives you.
As soon as he steps back and out of the way, Eddie’s on you, lifting you to your feet and manhandling you to the couch against the wall of his office. Spreading your legs open wide, you groan loudly as he shoves his face into your pussy, open mouth kissing between your folds as his tongue flicks your clit.
“P-Please…Please, Mr. Munson.”
Your hands try to tangle in his hair but he promptly grabs your wrist and holds it against the sofa. Tilting back, he spits into your hole before maneuvering his cock out of his jeans and guiding it into your heat.
“No, little girl. You don’t get to fucking touch me. Your hands have been all over your new boyfriend.”, he says with disgust as he rolls his hips hard making his length slam roughly into that spongy spot inside you. “Fuck, sweetheart. Have you fucked him yet?”
When you don’t answer, his palm spanks you hard.
“No.”
“No what.”, he growls as he hits you again.
“N-No, sir.”
“Shame. I’d love to—mmph fuck—know what that little fucker says when he realizes you’re ruined.”, Eddie spits as he pumps into you a bit faster. “You begged us to, baby, remember? To split you in half a-and stretch you open. Fuck. Still so fucking tight for us but little prick like him…”
“Eddie…”
Leaning down to hover over you, the metalhead grips your throat tightly between his ringed fingers.
“You say it correctly, whore. You’re in MY office in MY classroom.”
“F-Fuck…I’m sorry, Mr. Munson…feels so…good..”
“I know, baby. I know it feels good. You know what didn’t? Watching you flirt and swoon over that asshole on stage. Watching him touch you and you not pull away. Didn’t take you long to move on from us. What did—mmm—we fucking expect. You’re meant to be a toy, Y/N. Just a fucking slut for men like us to use.”, he growls in anger, completely oblivious to the tears that had begun to fall from your eyes.
“Yellow.” Your word comes out barely above a whisper; so small you’re surprised he heard it. Eddie lifted his head as his movements stopped, his eyes scanning your face as he blinks back his anger and worry replaces it. “I didn’t move on. I wanted you…I liked being with you. You pushed me away… Y-You said so many mean things after class…”
Your professor sighs as his forehead falls on yours.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart. I’m so fucking sorry for hurting you. Can I make you feel good? Can you say it?”, he requests when all you do is nod.
“Yes, sir, you can keep going.”
When he starts thrusting into you again, it’s much gentler than before.
“We didn’t use you that night, Y/N. Fuck, you have no idea how much we still think about you.”
“We talk about you at night while we’re in bed.”, Steve adds in low, soft voice behind your head. “It almost always leads to us playing with each other as we talk about how tight you were or how much your whimpers made us hard.”
Your eyes flutter closed at their words as Eddie picks up his rhythm once again.
“Shit. You feel so good. We-We don’t just talk about your body but we like how kind you are and so fucking smart, princess. I love reading your essays about the books I assign. You have this—oh my—this unique view of the world…”
“Why-Why did you push me away?”
Falling flat against you, he clings to you back as he rolls his hips and his cock pushes impossibly deep inside of you.
“Because this is wrong, honey.”, Steve answers for him. “So fucking wrong but…fuck…watching you with that kid…”
“You’re ours, sweetheart. Fuck, baby, cum.” Grinding your waist, you thrust up to meet his movement till you feel your body tremble as the coil breaks. “Good girl, Y/N. Good girl.”
It doesn’t take long for Eddie to follow and his eyes squeeze shut as you feel him warm your insides.
Nobody speaks as he pulls out of you and grabs your hand to help you sit up, petting your head as you wince slightly at the pain in your behind. Steve quickly comes between your legs and cleans you, tenderly kissing your knee when you whine at the soreness.
Both their heads hang when he comes back to take a seat beside you.
“D-Did you guys win?”, you ask, sighing when the coach shakes his head. “I’m sorry, Mr. Harrington.”
“Steve…” Your gaze shifts his way as he mumbles his name. “You can call me Steve when we aren’t out there or playing.”
“I’m sorry we made you uncomfortable, Y/N.”, Eddie exhales. “We didn’t mean to be so rough. We’re just…passionate people.”
“That’s an interesting way to say you were jealous.”, you tease as they smile. “It wasn’t the roughness. I like rough. It was the implication that…you used me solely to get off that night…After what you said to me in class, it just…hurt my feelings.”
“I understand. I’m sorry, baby.”
“We’re just trying to—”
“Protect me, I know. I just don’t understand from what. At first I thought it was because your faculty and I’m a student but then you said it was because I deserve to be seen… yet here we are… and I still feel you…pulling away. What aren’t you two telling me?”
“Did you just interrupt me again? Jesus Christ. IS it me? Am I just not as intimidating as him?”, Steve tries to joke and deflect.
“Does it involve what happened with Chrissy Cunningham?”
The metalhead grumbled as he exhaled, turning to face you with a newfound fire in his eyes.
“We gave you rules that first night, remember? Don’t ask about our scars. Maybe that rule deserves some expansion. Don’t ask about what happened 10 years ago AT ALL. Not only do we not want to talk about it but we CAN’T talk about it. If that’s a fucking problem then we can fully end this thing now. No little games or what happened tonight. Hell, I’ll even tell the dean myself what I did so he can fire me.”
At this declaration, Steve growls and when you glance his way you’re surprised to see annoyance, not towards you but to his partner.
“Ok, I understand, Eddie. I won’t ask any questions anymore but I need you to know…whatever happened I’m not afraid. I never thought you did anything to them and I trust you both. I know they say Hawkins is cursed but I feel like it’s more the people here that are said curse. I’ve been bullied most of my life by people like Martin. These backwards citizens condemning you for no reason and then hurting Steve because he’s your friend… it’s bullshit. I’m sorry you went through that and if anything happens again I’ll defend you.”
“We know, honey. That’s what worries us.”
“You don’t want to go through what we did, Y/N, trust me. We don’t want you to experience the pain and loss we have.”
“You’re implying my life has been devoid of pain and loss up to this point.”, you breathily laugh causing them to exchange a concerned glance. “I, uh, I should head back to my dorm. Theo’s probably calling to make sure I’m not dead. He really is a nice guy.”
“Do you want to come back to our house? You can take a bath and we can make you some dinner.”, Eddie offers nervously.
“Decide now. I can’t go back and forth with you two. If you want me to be yours I can be that. But if you’re going to push me away again or I’m going to wake up alone, I’d rather go back to my single dorm room and call the guy that seems to genuinely like me and isn’t afraid to say so.”
“We aren’t afraid, Y/N. This right here is more complicated than all that but we aren’t afraid to say we like you.”, Steve answered as he rose to his feet, reaching for your hand to help you do the same. “Can we take this one step at a time? Don’t forget, this is new for us to and a lot more is on the line. We could lose our careers and reputation.”
“And I don’t have much of one in this town to begin with.”, the metalhead joked making Steve roll his eyes.
“You’re willing to put all that on the line for me?”
“Of course.”, they responded in unison with zero hesitation making you grin.
“I did it for Eddie countless times and I’d do it again.”, the coach coos as he grabs the man’s cheeks and brings his lips to his own.
“Ok…one step at a time.”

Edward Munson you fool
Tumblr media
Pairing: Friend!Eddie x friend!plus size reader
If you want to read my other work you can find it HERE
A/N: so this was a request I just had to do. Thanks @salenorona23 for it. Hope you like it. As always feedback and reblogs are appreciated. Thank you in advance. This was inspired by the little clip of Chrissy and Eddie being "cute". It hurt more than I care to admit. So here goes nothing.
Warnings: sexual implications, language, arguing, self harm, mentions of blood and not proof read and no word count.
Summary: Eddie's relationship with Chrissy is not all it's cracked up to be. His best friend tries to get him to see the truth but he refuses. Instead he is cruel and pushes her away.
💔🎵😡
It was almost unbearable seeing them together. How incredibly different they were. But hey opposites attract and what not. It's bullshit. The whole thing was asinine. Eddie should not be with her. But he was. Damnit! Chrissy Cunningham of all people. She stole your best friend's heart. That stupid wench.
No she really wasn't a wench. She was actually very sweet. It was nauseating. You had been Eddie's best friend for like forever. He was the only person in this God forsaken town who got you. The real you. The only person who saw past the thick exterior straight to your heart. He saw something in you that you never even saw in yourself. A girl who was beautiful on the inside just as well on the outside.
The moment he laid those big chocolate brown eyes on you he had your heart. Did he know that? Well no. Did he ever give you a hint that he liked you more than just a friend? Nope. Were you too much of a coward to actually admit your feelings for him? Damn right you were. But there was something there. You just knew it. But that something came out as loving friendship. Which you had to settle for.
Eddie had started seeing Chrissy after their encounter in the woods. You could imagine how that went. Him being his eccentric self. Showing her he wasn't scary at all. It was stupid to say the least. Well because you knew that. And a handful of others knew that. So why all of a sudden was Chrissy so into him now? She had never glanced his way before. Maybe she saw in him what you always did. He was funny and theatrical, he was very smart even though he chose not to embrace it. He was kind and caring. He was beautiful and just overall an amazing creature.
How anyone could ever get the wrong idea about him was pathetic and just plain WRONG! So when it came to his new relationship he was happy. So you had to be happy for him. He spent so much time with Chrissy he had almost completely cut you out of his life. Which really broke your heart. Yes you loved him but you were willing to shove that love to the deepest part of you. Just so you could remain friends. Because well, Eddie Munson was important to you and you thought that you were important to him. By his actions though, it was clear to you that you were just an after thought.
That's when the bullying got worse. Normally you had Eddie there to be your knight in shining whatever to keep the dillholes at bay. But since he wasn't around much you got it ten-fold. You guest it was because of the years spent being his number 1 girl. Now becoming dead last. What made matters worse was when your cat died.
Eddie had gifted Mortisha to you on your 14th birthday. It was a stray all black cat that his uncle said he couldn't keep. He knew you would love her and take care of her so he brought her to you. And man did you love that cat. Burying her was one of the hardest things you had to do. But to do it without your best friend only made the pain insufferable.
Thank God Eddie wasn't your only friend though. You had Nancy, Robin, and the handsome Steve Harrington. You guys have been friends ever since freshman year. You were the one who actually introduced them to Eddie. Which might have been the best idea you had ever had. Nancy helped Eddie with his school work when you couldn't. Robin got him to stop smoking. Which you tried like hell to do. And Steve, well Steve was a tag along. Attached at Robin's hip. It was good though because Eddie enjoyed the male companionship. But it was Steve who told him about Chrissy wanting to buy some mind altering substance. Which Eddie was happy to oblige. Something about corrupting a cheerleader engulfed his mind. Something you would later regret.
So as the relationship between Eddie and Chrissy progressed you spent most of your free time with Steve and Robin. They were pretty freaking awesome. You liked how the bickered and play fought. It reminded you of your relationship with Eddie. You missed him a lot and Steve could tell. He decided to take you under his wing and try and find you someone to date. He took you to parties and what not. But for some reason he was the only one to drive you home. Your relationship with Steve was entirely platonic. And that was okay for you and him. Yes he was beautiful but, he was no Eddie. He knew you had feelings for him but he kept that to himself.
...
Eddie did notice that he saw less and less of you when he started seeing Chrissy. And he really did miss you. But Chrissy easily got his attention with her lips. He had fun with her. Alot of "Fun" but they didn't have anything in common. He thought it was weird at first but he grew to accept it. He always pictured himself with someone like you. So pretty and sweet. But a total hard ass when the time called for it. Someone who liked the same things he did. Who listened to the same music like you did. Someone with your laugh and your smile. Someone who wanted the best for him like you did. Like how you challenged him in ways that were exciting. Hell if he had to choose someone it would have been you. But here he was with the head cheerleader. Beauty and the beast. He of course was the beauty.
...
3 months into the relationship you were sitting in your normal spot at the hellfire table when Eddie decided to bless you guys with his presence.
" Hey there sweet cheeks. Long time no see. Hey did you get your hair cut?" He said giving you his signature grin.
" Edward." You gave him a thin lip smile.
" Oh shit what did I do?" He pouted.
You rolled your eyes and continued to read the Newsweekly you had bought early that morning. You were reading this bullshit about D&D. You scoffed and slammed the magazine on the table. Eddie was eating pretzels and jumped when you did that.
" What is it pretty girl?"
" Nothing just a bunch of hogwash about cults and D&D."
" WHAT?!" Eddie picked up the magazine and went on this huge rant.
Making an ass of himself. He was always so cute doing that. You smiled as he got up on the table and went on about tossing balls in laundry baskets. You laughed when he made a face at Carver. He was always doing shit like this. When he was finally done he sat back down and grinned at you.
"Don't ever change Munson." You grinned
" Don't plan on it sweet cheeks." He winked at you.
You felt your cheeks flush and you looked away so that he wouldn't catch that. But he did. He noticed everything about you. How you wore your hair on campaign days, how when you had to sneeze you would always rub your nose with your finger tips before. How you would always stopped him from buying you food because you weren't hungry then steal his fries. He would always got extra just for you. How even though you were a big girl you were always cold. Even on a hot ass summer day. Eddie was your own personal blanket and he loved it. He loved how soft you were. Just how darn cute you were. But he had a girlfriend and he couldn't see you that way.
But when you left the table suddenly he was sad. He really did fucking miss you. Missed the talks and the snuggles. He missed how awful you sang to his records. Missed your overwhelming need to feed him. You were his best friend and most loyal friend. Well until later that night.
...
When Eddie hopped off the table you saw Jason Carver leave the cafeteria. When the doors were almost shut you saw Chrissy hanging on him. That wasn't suspicious at all. You had gotten an ugly feeling in the pit of your stomach. You looked at Eddie and he smiled making your heart sink. That beautiful boy with the heart of gold would never know how much you loved him.
Feeling overwhelmed by your misery you got up and left. You didn't say a word because you could feel the tears approaching and you didn't want anyone worrying about you. Especially not Eddie. You hid a lot from him lately. You didn't want to but he was too preoccupied. And you didn't want to ruin his new found happiness.
See the bullying had gotten so bad that you had started to self harm again. You had been so good when Eddie entered your life. But now it was too much. It started just a week after Eddie started seeing Chrissy. Someone put gum in your hair. That you had to cut it. Your hair meant everything to you. You were growing it for your mom who had lost all her hair from chemo therapy.
The next time someone stole your clothes during P.E and replaced them with much smaller ones. You had just gotten out of the shower when you noticed your clothes were gone. So when you went back to grab your P.E uniform it was gone too. You were so embarrassed. Everyone was laughing at you and you went in the closet and cried. You dug your nails deep into your forearm breaking skin. The pain made you feel better. It calmed you down enough to call your pops to bring you clothes and went home for the day.
And the next time someone groped you. Touching between your thick thighs. Then they claimed they smelled fish. You went home in tears and showered for so long that the cold water didn't bother you. You really didn't smell like fish but by God you were going to make sure you scrubbed long and hard. Once you were satisfied and sore you got out and faced yourself in the mirror. You hated what you saw. You pulled open the medicine cabinet and took out one of your dad's single bladed razors. You made a 2 inch incision in your inner thigh. Once you felt better you cleaned yourself up and got ready for bed. You regret it as soon as you laid down. You should have called Eddie like you promised. He made you swear to call him whenever you felt like this. But you couldn't bring yourself to do it. You didn't want to ruin his day by it.
So when you walked out of the cafeteria you found yourself in the parking lot. You heard constant mooing and pig noises when you walked through the hallway that you just needed the fresh air. You saw Chrissy flirting with Jason. And when you snuck closer they got in his car and started to kiss. Your hands shook out of anger. You strolled right up to the car and banged on the window. That's when you saw Jason's pants unbuttoned and Chrissy's underwear in the back seat. She looked at you with such fright. She got out of the car and came to you.
" Y/n please! It's not what it looks like!"
" Really! So you just weren't hopping on Carver's dick? Real classy. Last time I checked you were in a relationship. You know the one with my best friend."
" Best friend?! Please you don't even talk anymore."
" Seriously?! You are so fucking dense! I kept my distance because of you! Because he was happy with you! You are such a piece of shit for doing this to him! But you and him. You're done."
" No! Don't tell him! It-it meant nothing. I-I love him. I love Eddie." She cried.
" Save your tears for someone who gives a fuck sweetheart!" You yelled before you stormed off.
You were in such a rage you had no idea what to do. You had to tell him. Fuck! Why did it have to be you that saw that? Why did she do that? How could she do that? How could she do that to poor Eddie? He was a god damn good person. He didn't deserve that. No one did.
...
You were outside of his trailer pacing back and forth. You were chewing your nails trying to build up the courage to do this. You didn't want to break his heart. But you had to. It was the right thing to do. It was your duty as his best friend to be honest with him. You were never afraid to tell others what was going on in your head. Even with Eddie you could be brutally honest with him. But this information had you questioning your ability to be straight forward.
"C'mon girl. For Eddie sake.'
You were just about to walk up the steps when he came out. He jumped back scared
" JESUS H CHRIST Y/N! WHAT THE HELL?!"
You put your hands up to show you meant no harm. You backed away as he jumped off the top step to the ground. You smiled when he grinned at you.
" What's going on pretty girl? To what do I owe the pleasure of your company on this fine evening?"
" Oh umm I wanted to see you. Umm haha. I uhh missed you, you loser."
Eddie leaned back a little and narrowed his eyes. But his suspicion went away quickly.
" I miss you too sweet cheeks. Come here."
He came and pulled you into a bear hug. God he missed you in his arms and the way you smelled.
You breathed him in and wanted to cry. Why did it always feel like home in his arms? No. Stop that. You have to do this.
" Eddie?"
" Yeah?"
" I umm I have something to tell you."
" Is it really important because I planned on hanging out with Chrissy right now."
"YES!"
" Whoa there what's going on?" He said pulling away a bit.
"EddieIsawChrissyandJasongoingatitinhiscarandandimsorry" it just came out so fast.
" Okay. Umm what the hell did you just say? Calm down pretty girl. What was that?"
You took a deep breath. " Eddie, I saw Chrissy and Jason going at it in his car. Eddie, I-I I'm so sorry."
Eddie dropped his arms and took a few steps back. "What do you mean "going at it"?"
" They were having sex." You said stepping closer to him but you stopped when he took another step back.
" You're lying." He chuckled but you could tell he was serious.
" Eddie, why would I lie?" You were actually hurt that he would think that.
" I-I don't know maybe you... I don't know.. you like me or something."
" I.."
Eddie gave you a look you had never seen before.
" Shit y/n that's it isn't it? You like me and you created this stupid fucking lie so that you could break us up."
" Wait. What?!"
" Yeah c'mon y/n that's a new low. Even for you. What did you think would happen? That I would leave Chrissy and what? Be with you?"
" Hold on. What the hell is wrong with me?" You. Were. Pissed.
" C'mon. Do you really think I w-would be with with someone like.. like well you know."
Now it was your turn to step back and go on the defense. " No Edward. Enlighten me."
"Man fuck y/n! You know I hate when you call me that."
" I don't give a shit! What the hell did you mean?!
" You know a girl like you."
Girl like me?
You scoffed. Oh now he's done it. " Right poor fat y/n huh. So big no one could love...you're a real shit friend you know. No I didn't tell you that because I like you. I told you that because I'm your best fucking friend and you deserve so much better that that poor excuse of a human being."
"That's not-"
" No fuck you Eddie! What the hell is wrong with you?! You were supposed to be my friend. But I get now. You are just like everyone else. No matter how hard you try to be different or how much you try to hide it you really are a fucking asshole. "
" Me?! You're the asshole here. You just come out of nowhere lying to me."
" I DID NOT LIE EDWARD! I NEVER LIE TO YOU!"
" So you're tell me you don't like me and Chrissy did have sex with Carver?"
"NO. I mean yes."
" Well what is it?!"
Your breath was shallow and your heart was racing. " I do love you okay! I have loved you for a very long time. But that is not the reason I told you this okay. You know what. Believe me or don't. I don't give a fuck anymore. I was just trying to be a good friend. Something you have most definitely been lacking lately"
" What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"
" Seriously?! Have you been so blind to not notice the hell I've endured the past few months?"
" How in the hell am I supposed to know what's going on with you if you don't even talk to me?!"
" That's because you haven't been around for me to talk to. You're always with her. And I have to admit that yes I was jealous. But that's because she took my best friend away from me. I needed you and you weren't there. You weren't there when I buried Mortisha and you weren't there when I had to cut off my hair because someone put gum in it. Now my mom can't use it. You weren't there when someone touched me without my permission. I...I know I shouldn't depend on you to save me all the time. But you promised you would be there. Always. And -and you weren't. And-and I hate you....So you know what.... We're done. Friendship terminated."
You got in your car and peeled out of that trailer park not looking back at him. You finally let the tears come. You couldn't believe you just did that. Why in the fuck would you say that? You could never hate him.
...
Eddie didn't go to Chrissy's that night. He had no idea what the hell was going on. Why hadn't you told him? He would have been there in a heart beat regardless of who he was with. Did you really think he would abandon you like that? And who in their right mind would touch you without asking? He was going to find out and beat the living shit out of them. He really didn't believe you when you said that shit about Chrissy. So he made a decision to keep seeing her.
Eddie hadn't seen you all week. Even if he did how could he have apologized without sounding like such a fucking tool. It was Saturday afternoon and he was watching Chrissy at practice. His mind kept going to you and your face that night. How absolutely hurt you were when he said a girl like you. He honestly didn't mean it that way. He actually didn't know what he meant to say. He was just so damn mad. But he really didn't think you were fat or anything like that. You were truly one of the best looking girls in all of Hawkins if not the best.
You meant more to him than you would ever know. But how could he show you that? He was with someone. He wasn't a cheater and he cared about Chrissy's feelings. But he did love you. He really did. He just didn't know how much.
The sound of crying broke his thought process. He shook his thoughts away and saw Chrissy holding her arm on the ground. He ran to her.
" What happened?"
" I'm so sorry Chrissy. We were there. We were right there."
Someone said but Eddie wasn't looking at who said it. He picked up Chrissy and ran to his van. He drove erratically to the hospital and got her in.
...
That Saturday you were hanging out with Steve and Robin. You had been staying with Robin all week. Not wanting to go home just in case the devil showed himself. You had spilled your guts to them about what was going on with Eddie. They both tried to get you to reconsider the friendship but you had to be strong. You meant what you said and that was it. Period.
After a pretty good morning you had to go home and grab some clothes. Steve offered to drive you. So you let him. You guys were joking around and singing to Madonna. Eddie would have killed you if he knew. But you know whatever. Steve turned down the music.
" Hey I got you something."
"Oh yeah? It's not my birthday is it?" You teased.
" No no. I just saw it and I thought of you."
"Awww...ok what is it?"
" I uhh I think it's in the back."
You turned to look for your gift but didn't see it. You hadn't noticed Steve swerving a little as he tried to look. When you sat back down you saw a glimpse of a deer.
" STEVE LOOK O-"
He swerved and the car and it flipped. You closed your eyes and your body flung in the air. When the car finally stopped rolling you were outside of it. You tried to sit up but it was too painful.
"STEVE!...STEVE!....STEVE ANSWER ME!"
"Y/n! WHERE ARE YOU?"
" Oh thank God! STEVE ARE YOU HURT?!"
" NO. IM OKAY. I'M JUST STUCK."
" FUCK!" You grunted as you forced yourself to get up.
You finally got to your feet and stumbled over to the driver's side. All the glass was broken and Steve's belt wouldn't come off. You found a piece of glass large enough to cut the belt. You handed it to him and fell back onto the ground. You were feeling so dizzy and sleepy.
Steve cut himself free and climbed out of the window. He came and kneel next to you. He saw a large chuck of glass embedded in your side. You looked pale. He took off his shirt and pressed it around the glass. But it was quickly soaking up blood. You were bleeding too much and too fast.
Good thing the road was slightly busy when a good samaritan stopped to help you get to the hospital. You weren't thinking straight at all. You closed your eyes when Steve lifted you carrying you to some random car. The last thing you remembered was picturing Eddie's big brown eyes.
...
Eddie was sitting in the E.Rs waiting room. He had just broke up with Chrissy when she confessed what she did. She seemed to be really sorry about it. And Eddie had such a kind heart that he appreciated her for telling him the truth. He agreed to be friends but he really didn't think that was gonna happen. He was sitting there for a while thinking how to finally tell you he was sorry. That's when he saw Steve carrying you in. All he really saw was Steve with his shirt off. He was so fucking mad. Did Steve try and do something to you? Everything told him that Steve hurt you and he lost it. Her ran after Steve but he nor Steve wasn't allowed to go back with you.
Eddie pushed Steve up against the wall and held onto his neck. " WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HER?"
" AHH! EDDIE...STOP!"
" WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
A security guard came and pulled Eddie off of him.
" Hey hey. It's okay he's my friend." Steve said making the security guard let go of Eddie.
Eddie went to charge again but Steve backed away and held out his hands. " Stop it! We got in a car accident....and she was thrown from the car man... she uhh she's in really bad shape. She lost a lot of blood."
Eddie felt like his whole world stopped. The air from his lungs disappeared hearing those words. That's when he saw it. The blood all over Steve.
" Is that?" Eddie pointed.
" Yes now sit down before you pass out." Steve lead him to a chair.
"How...how are you okay?"
" I had my seat belt on man."
Eddie turned to him. "She wasn't wearing a seatbelt?"
" Yeah. She was looking for a gift I got her."
" What?"
" Yeah I got her and well you matching friendship bracelets. But uhh I don't know where they are now." Steve sighed.
"God Harrington. She's gonna be fine right?"
" I hope so. It's all my fault Eddie. I'm so sorry."
"It was an accident. She's gonna be fine. She has to be. I gotta tell her I love her man."
...
Days went by and Eddie stayed there the whole time. You weren't out for a long time. Eddie had donated blood because he was a universal donor. He had hoped it would help you. But he was missing too much school without a valid excuse. Which was bullshit. You were a valid reason for him. So he decided that he was gonna repeat his senior year for the fourth time. He knew you would be pissed but he had to be by your side. He was there every single day. And he was there every night.
When you woke up a week later you were actually happy to see him. For a few moments you felt important to him. But that went away quickly. Eddie went to to get you some snacks when he ran into Steve.
" Hey man. What are you don't here?"
" Uhh y/n called. She said she's going home today and she wanted me to take her home."
Eddie was confused. Why didn't you ask him to take you home?
" I uhh I'll take her. You don't know how to keep four wheels on the ground." He chuckled.
" Uhh alright let's go tell her." Steve patted him on his back and they went to the room.
You were getting dressed and the guys turned around to give you your privacy.
" So umm y/n Eddie said he would take you home."
"What? No!....I umm mean I really would like for you to take me home Steve. Sorry Eddie."
Eddie turned around and you didn't look at him. He looked over to Steve and he shrugged. Eddie took one last look at you and left.
" Why didn't you want him to take you home y/n?"
" Look Steve don't get me wrong. I still love Eddie. But I can't even look at him without my heart breaking. I could have died and I have this new look on life. I'm not wasting my time on someone who thinks I'm a liar and doesn't feel the same way."
" Y/n c'mon. You know Eddie cares about you and he loves you. He's been here every single day. He's your best friend. You guys can get through this. You guys can get through anything."
" Not this. He was so mean to me. You weren't there. You didn't hear him. And he doesn't love me."
" I don't need to know what he said. I know he cares. You are important to him. That's just fact."
" Steve please just take me home. I want to sleep in my bed tonight."
" Alright, let's go l/n. Don't worry I'll keep both eyes on the road this time."
"You better. Or make sure you actually kill me this time."
" Shut up!"
" Bite me Harrington."
...
You woke up the next morning tired as hell. You went to your parents room and gave your mom a kiss. It was early and your dad was already gone.
" You hungry mom?"
" Yes sweetheart. Can you make me some eggs?"
" You got it."
You went to the kitchen when there was a knock on the door. You groaned. You really didn't want to see anyone today. The knocking was giving you a headache.
" Alright don't get your panties in a knot. I'm coming." You said out loud.
You opened the door and saw Eddie. He was smiling holding up a bouquet of flowers.
" What are you doing here Munson? Should you be with your girlfriend?"
Eddie nervously laughed. " I uhh. We broke up. Seems like you weren't lying after all."
You crossed your arms. " I told you I would never lie to you."
" Right. Right. Look y/n I'm sorry. I should've believed you."
" Yeah you got that right."
" Chrissy told me everything. And we agreed to be friends"
You scoffed.
" I told her that it's a good thing to end it. Because well pretty girl. I told her I love you."
" Right as a friend. Cool Munson good for you. Bye now."
"No y/n wait."
You stopped from closing the door and he stepped closer.
" y/n, look I really do love you. You are the first girl to ever treat me right. The first one to care and appreciate me. And even though I have been in love a few times. I have never been this in love with someone. See pretty girl with you it's different. With you it feels right. And I didn't think you felt the same so I had to let you go. But, I can't do that any more. You mean the absolute world to me. You are my sun, my moon, my stars. There is just something about you that makes my heart tingle when you're near. Your voice calms me. Something about you makes me fall in love all over again....it's you sweet cheeks. It's always been you...So what do you say pretty girl?... Be with me... Like we were always meant to be."
Eddie fucking Munson just crushed your heart all over again. How could he stand there and tell you such things.
" A girl like me Edward. That's what you said remember... Kick rocks Munson."
You slammed the door in his face. And he just stood there so dumbfounded. " That was not what I meant y/n."
" Yeah well it still hurt." You said through the door.
Eddie grinded his teeth and shook his fist.
" you listen here sweet cheeks. You will forgive me and you will be my girlfriend because I'm yours forever. I will show you."
" Good luck." You said with a smile

TW/CW: use of a lesbian slang term (I don’t technically think it’s an actual slur?? But it is used as an insult in this specific case… mostly because I didn’t feel comfortable using the actual slur here… I may be sapphic, but I’m bi so I really don’t feel like it’s my place to use that word.), homophobic sentiments, Jason 🤢, two closeted sapphics doing a terrible job at hiding their gayness, Chrissy’s a lil possessive, and plus sized!reader.
You’re not petite like Chrissy (you lovely plus-sized angel, you), so best friend!Chrissy orders a cheer jacket in your size with her own name on it and sprays it with her perfume so that you can walk around the halls of Hawkins High wearing her clothes. When she gifts it to you, she tells you that she got it for you just because 1) she knows you’re still a little bummed that you didn’t make the squad, 2) you never remember to wear a jacket when it gets chilly and watching you walk around in under 30 degree weather without a coat drives her crazy (“I’m your friend, your best friend, at that! I’m allowed to be concerned about your well-being!!”), and 3) she knows how much you like her perfume and, since she can’t afford to buy you your own bottle, she figures giving you a coat that’s been spritzed with it is the next best thing. You’re so insecure, closeted, and naive that you truly believe her gifting you that jacket was nothing more than a friendly gesture. Even when she insists that you let her spritz it with her sweet perfume whenever her scent dulls on it, you still think that Chrissy’s just trying to be a good friend. Oh you sweet, naive, little closeted gayby baby. Jason’s pissed the first time you wear that jacket to school because that day also, coincidentally, happens to be the day that Chrissy stops wearing his letterman jacket around school and starts, instead, wearing her own cheer jacket; the one that looks and smells just like yours. He’s always known how pathetically in love with her you are (it’s why he’s always internally hated your guts while externally acting merely indifferent towards you in an effort to save face in front of his girlfriend). However, when Chrissy gifts you that matching jacket and starts matching your outfits each day - by coordinating her scrunchie color with yours, wearing your matching friendship bracelet, and sporting that matching jacket - Jason starts to suspect that maybe his picture-perfect little girlfriend has a thing for you too. Of course, he doesn’t want to believe it, that his girlfriend, the love of his life, could be a carpet-muncher. So, he starts asking her to go to church with him and his family more often… only for her to bring you along too. Then Jason starts asking her to go on more one-on-one dates with him, only for Chrissy to cancel last minute because she’s “sick.” However, whenever he drops by her place to check on her, Mrs. Cunningham always says she’s next door at your place, rolling her eyes while she’s at it because she doesn’t care for you either.
But enough about Jason slowly coming to terms with the fact that Chrissy’s madly in love with you and not him… An added bonus of you wearing the jacket she’s given you is that Chrissy gets to feel this profound sense of possessive pride tingle up her spine whenever she spots you walking through the halls with her jacket on. She now understands why all the jocks make their girlfriends wear their letterman jackets, because there’s something oddly satisfying, delightful even, about seeing her name literally branded on your clothing and smelling her own trademark scent wafting off you in soft, delicate, subtle waves; just enough that you smell just like her without the scent being too strong or overwhelming.

Your Beauty Never Ever Scared Me | Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Hawkins, 1888
In dark times... Dark solutions come into the minds of people...
Eddie Munson came from an incredibly poor family, his parents left when he was young and he was taken care of by his uncle, who worked really hard to keep them both afloat
So when the opportunity of marrying his dear boy to the beautiful and desired Chrissy Cunningham, he immediately took it
"You're marrying Chrissy Cunningham..." Wayne had told his nephew with sad eyes, the boy couldn't believe it, he want ready to get married, not to her
Meanwhile in her house she was given the news, happy that she would finally have a husband and would make her life away from her horrible family
Different reactions to the same news...
........................................................
That day, they had to meet each other, before in a few days they would finally be a marriage
Eddie's uncle was telling him everything he had to know about his future wife
"Please be careful how you speak, keep your hands to yourself, be polite, don't overtalk and don't-"
"Uncle Wayne, I understand, I will not be myself..." He said with a sigh "But... I don't want to get married..."
Wayne pinches the bridge of his nose "I know boy, but this is necessary" he sat closer to his nephew "Eddie... We're close to dying of hunger if not there already, this marriage will do great for us..." He looked at the old man in front of him "Please..."
Eddie could only sit back and embrace what would inevitably happen...
Unless there was a way out...
.........................................................
"Mr. Munson! We are... Honored that you're here" Adelia Cunningham said with fake enthusiasm to the old man
"Remind me why we chose him?" Robert Cunningham whispered to his wife as they came down the stairs
"He's the only boy Chrissy's age that didn't die from the plague... Somehow..." She said back in a whisper
Finally down they reluctantly shook hands and invited them in
"Chrissy will join us soon, let us have some tea"
Meanwhile the girl was happily getting ready, brushing her hair and putting on her pearls, with a huge smile she came down the stairs
Eddie in the meantime had found an acoustic guitar reclined to a wall, he grabbed it and tuned it, strumming to it without noticing Chrissy
"It sounds nice" she said scaring him, making him drop the guitar
"Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I didn't hear you! I'm sorry!" He picked it up and put it where it was "Sorry"
"It's okay... I know how to play too, but mom says it isn't lady like" she sighed "I'm Chrissy, you must be Edward"
"Y-yeah but everyone calls me Eddie" he said scratching the back of his neck
"Okay... Eddie" she giggled softly
Meanwhile he wanted earth to swallow him whole, she was beautiful but... Not his style...
........................................................
"No, no, no young Munson it's "With this hand I will lift your sorrows" not your burrows" Priest Murray yelled at Eddie for messing up his vows again
Eddie sighed becoming more desperate and stressed
"Say it again young Munson, like you mean it, or is it that you don't want to get married?!"
Eddie stood silent, not knowing if he could actually answer that or not
Chrissy looked at him, worried "Do you not want to marry me?"
He was starting to sweat from stress, looking around at everyone staring at him for his answer he couldn't do it anymore and ran away
"Eddie wait!"
He ran away as he always did...

Heartbreak
Tumblr media
Eddie Munson x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 3435 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Eddie doing his best to comfort the reader after you get dumped, but it doesn’t go exactly as planned
—————————————————————————————————
Heartbreak was hard.
You weren’t about to pretend that you were the only person in the world who’d ever felt it, but you couldn’t help but be blindsided anyway.
This was different.
Jason was the first guy you’d ever really loved, and when he dumped you, it felt like the world as you knew it had come crumbling down around you.
He was all you had, and all of a sudden you had nowhere to go and no one to turn to, with the exception of Eddie.
The two of you hadn’t really talked or spent much time together since you and Jason got really serious, but somehow, you knew that if you were to call him, he’d be there for you as if no time had passed at all, even if maybe you didn’t deserve it.
So, you called.
The phone rang a few times before he picked up, in the same way that he always did.
“Munson residence, what do you want?” he answered, the sound of his voice bringing a small smile to  your face just because it had been so long since you’d heard it.
There was silence on the line for a moment as you tried to pay closer attention to the task at hand than you were before, wiping the tears welling up in your eyes on the back of your hand.
His tone wasn’t gruff, or annoyed as perhaps you’d been expecting, but that didn’t mean you knew how to continue as he waited for whoever was on the other end to speak. Your voice, which was once so familiar, now seemed too far away to grasp.
It just felt so stupid to call him after all this time just because you needed something. Though, it wasn’t like you had any other choice.
You didn’t have anyone else.
“Hey Eds, I know it’s been a long time and you probably don’t want to hear from me but, Jason dumped me and-” you started, but you didn’t get a chance to get the rest of the words out before he stopped you.
That was all he needed to know.
“Where are you? I’ll be right there”
Part of you expected a different reaction, or at least some casual sass about how convenient your calling was but nothing like that ever came. Instead, Eddie waited until you told him where you were and hung up.
It didn’t matter what had happened between you or why you did it, he wasn’t the kind of person to leave anyone he cared about in the cold.
He just wasn’t.
As soon as the line went dead, you took a deep breath, letting it hang for a moment with that deafening tone, desperately trying to put this all together.
You just felt like you were lost, and it had all fallen apart so quickly. Though, before you could truly fall into a pit of self pity, you decided to focus on something else instead.
After all, Eddie didn’t drive so you knew you’d have a little bit of time before he showed up, on foot. So, you decided to sit down on the pavement and wait, digging your hands into the bits of loose gravel here and there.
You felt like an idiot.
This whole time you thought that Jason loved you, and in all that time you and Eddie have spent making fun of jocks like him, you’d been wrong. That he was sweet and gentle, and capable of loving you but you were wrong.
Clearly.
If you had been right, you wouldn’t have walked in on him frenching Chrissy Cunningham so deeply he could have sucked the air straight from her lungs, and you certainly wouldn't have gotten your heart splattered all over the wall.
Not that it mattered now.
He had what he wanted, and if you were being honest with yourself, you got it. The two of them had a lot more in common than you ever did, and maybe they would be happy. Maybe she would make him happy, because clearly, you hadn’t.
The sentiment hurt, probably more than the breakup itself, and again, those tears came streaming down our face, landing in a somber pool at your feet.
Maybe it was your fault.
After all, if you hadn’ showed up at this place unannounced, you never would have known Jason was seeing her too. You could have kept going on like you had  been for however long you had left, you could have done something.
…but that was all gone now.
He didn’t love you, and really, you weren’t sure that he ever had.
“I always told you that guy was an asshole” came Eddie’s voice, calling out to you before he’d even made it to your side, the gravel crunching beneath his sneakers.
It wasn’t exactly how he wanted to break this ice, all things considered, but it was the best he could do. Eddie wanted to be supportive, and he wanted to make you feel better, but it was the truth.
He never lied to you, or told you that he was happy for you when you started seeing Carver. He wasn’t a good guy and you were too good for him, you and Eddie both knew it.
There was no sense in acting otherwise.
“Come here” he tried again, offering nothing else before he threw his arms open for you and pulled you close. Jason may have been exactly what Eddie knew he was, but that didn’t mean you were hurting any less.
That was why he was here, after all.
You had nothing to say in turn as you allowed him to pull you in, until you had no choice but to breathe in the smell of him, weed smoke, musk and cheap cologne.
It hadn’t changed, and of course it hadn’t, it was him, everything he was.
“I’m sorry, I know this is stupid…I just didn’t have anyone else to call” you whispered, holding him as close to you as possible, partially worried he would leave you too. After everything you’d put him through, you couldn’t blame him.
Not that knowing that changed that you didn’t want to be without him, even if it was selfish.
Eddie had always had your back, he had always cared about you more than anyone else in your life but even for you, this was a lot.
“Don’t worry about it, don’t worry about anything. You’re staying with me” he shrugged, not pulling away from your frame until your grip on his shoulders loosened.
He could tell that you’d been crying, could see the tear stains on your skin and the way you avoided looking in his eyes for too long, but he didn't bother to comment on it. You didn’t need to hear his opinion, or keep a brave face for him.
You were in love with Jason, that much was obvious, and even if it hadn’t worked out, you were still hurting.
“Are you sure? I mean, what did Wayne say?” you stopped, Eddie didn’t seem the least bit phased by the words, but you couldn’t just stay there, could you?
That was crazy.
“I’m pretty sure if it came down to it, Uncle Wayne would let you stay before me”
It was a joke, of course, one only meant to bring down the tension a little bit but the truth was, nothing mattered more to Eddie than making sure you were taken care of.
There wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t do for you, because he loved you and that wasn’t exactly a secret to him, his uncle Wayne, or the rest of Hawkins.
“Everything is gonna be okay” the male at your side assured, one last time before webbing one of his hands in with your own, his subtle way of letting you know he was here, and he wasn’t going anywhere.
Ever again.
~
The trailer hadn’t changed a bit since you’d been in it last.
It was still the same functional mess it had always been, with the two men coexisting in the small space, where everything had a place, even if it didn’t make any sense to those looking in.
“I try to keep it clean, y’know, but I didn’t exactly have time to prepare for company” Eddie shrugged, following your gaze around the room until it once again landed on him.
You had missed this, and you didn’t even realize how much until now.
“It’s perfect Ed, it’s great” you allowed, trying your best to remain as composed as you could given the circumstances but this was uncharted water for the two of you. The last time you’d been here, you two had gotten drunk in your pajamas and baked cupcakes at 3 am.
…but this was different.
This place still felt like home to you, and so did Eddie, but you felt like you’d lost touch with it all the same.
Like it wasn’t yours to enjoy anymore.
You smiled, of course, but the action didn’t spread to your eyes like he was used to. It was obvious you were trying, although ultimately failing, to pretend to be okay with the events of the day, so Eddie did all he knew to do.
He plopped down on the couch, his elbows on his knees and just waited. He waited, for what he wasn’t sure, but it seemed like the thing to do and evidently, he was right because eventually you sat beside him.
It was a small gesture, and it didn’t really mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it was a start.
It was something.
“So, you wanna tell me about it? What happened? Eddie wondered, after the silence in the room persisted for far longer than he was prepared for, his voice softened significantly now that it was just the two of you.
He didn’t know exactly what he was doing in this regard, for several reasons, the chief of which being that he didn’t really date. There was no reason to when the only object of his affection had been spoken for as of late.
It wasn’t like anyone else was going to make his palms sweat or his pulse quicken quite like you did anyway, so it wasn’t worth the effort.
Still, as he’d been doing this whole time, Eddie was trying and you couldn't have been more grateful.
You scoffed, thinking over the conversation you and Jason had, following the absolutely mortifying events in his bedroom with the blonde looking on the entire time.
It was pretty straight forward.
“Chrissy Cunningham, his other girlfriend” you shrugged, not really needing more than that in terms of an explanation. Evidently, everyone was at least somewhat aware that he’d traded you in for her, and just didn’t say anything.
Not that Eddie was shocked.
Even he had noticed the two of them spending more time together, he just figured you had it all under control, though now he knew how wrong that was.
It just sucked.
You deserved so much better, and this whole time, it was like everyone around you knew but somehow you were left in the dark.
“I stopped to say hi on my way home this afternoon and walked in on a pretty heavy makeout session” you continued, desperately trying to keep your emotions centered around anger but it wasn’t working nearly as well as you’d hoped.
It hurt so bad knowing that he replaced you just like that, without even thinking about it, like you were nothing.
Now it was Eddie’s turn to scoff as he imagined doing something like that to you. Granted, he couldn't really imagine doing something so awful to anyone, but least of all you.
What kind of guy didn’t know a good thing when he had it?
You were the best that jerk was ever going to get, and he didn’t deserve to hurt you like that, he didn’t even deserve to share the same space as you in Eddie’s mind.
“What a tool” was all Eddie could let out at first, considering your words for a moment more before letting a heavy sigh pass his lips. Getting cheated on was one thing, catching a cheater in the act was another.
It was no wonder you were so totally bummed out.
“Yeah. I mean, I guess it’s kind of my fault too. What could have ever possessed me to think I’d actually have a shot with a guy like that?” you laughed, that sound more bitter than joyous when it met Eddie’s ears.
Though, it was the words you spoke that he found most blasphemous, not the tone you used.
Jason was the lucky one. A major creep like that never should have had a shot with a babe like you in the first place, not the other way around.
You had done him a favor even looking in his direction.
“That guy never deserved you. There was no way he understood how lucky he was, or what he let get away. I’d bet he didn’t even know your favorite color” Eddie quipped, not even bothering to hold back what he was thinking.
Being sad was fine, but he wasn’t about to sit here and listen to you shit on yourself all night long.
Once again you were silent as you tried, desperately, to convince yourself that Eddie was right. He had a point, in saying that Jason probably didn’t even know your favorite color. He had never really taken an interest in those things.
…or in you, in general.
It was an idea that once again had those tears welling up in your shining eyes, burning the raw skin of your cheeks as they made their way down toward your neck.
You were so stupid.
This whole time, you were so convinced he loved you and it didn’t make any sense. That person you were with him, that wasn’t who you were, but you still found yourself aching over it nonetheless.
“I’m really sorry, I should have been there”
This time there was a new vulnerability in Eddie’s tone that you weren’t even sure you heard at first, your attention turning to his face in an instant to see that he was almost in tears himself, but not for the same reason.
As angry as he was at Carver for hurting you, Eddie couldn't help but be more upset that he hadn’t been there right when it happened to pick you up, or do something more to warn you about Jason in the first place.
That was what he was supposed to do.
He was supposed to protect you, and he was so busy being mad at you for ditching him, that he just let you get your heart broken.
“You couldn’t have-” you started, but Eddie wasn’t finished. He had held his tongue the whole time you told him about Jason asking you out, and again when you told him that it would probably be better if you didn’t hang out as much.
He wasn’t going to do that now, you were just going to have to listen to him until he was done.
“You need someone who can love you like you deserve,” he started, shifting his body on the couch to get a better look at your face, his right hand coming up to brush those now cold tears from the bow of your lip.
“You deserve somebody who’s gonna know that you only sleep with your windows open when it rains, and that you chew the inside of your cheek when you’re nervous and who’s gonna appreciate the way your nose crinkles when you laugh,” Eddie sighed, running his hands through his curls.
It was true.
You deserved the world on a string and the worst part was that you didn’t even know it. You genuinely thought you deserved to be treated the way you were, like you were an inconvenience more than a choice.
It made him want to be sick, as someone who would have given anything just for the chance to choose you for once.
“You deserve somebody who knows everything about you and loves you because of that. Not some asshole who puts up with you in spite of those things”
By the time Eddie had finished, he was practically red in the face, his heart hammering away in his chest so violently he feared it may actually burst.
It just didn’t make sense to  him that you didn’t see it. That anyone in their right mind would be lucky to have you on their arm, or in their bed, for that matter.
You were the most incredible person he had ever met. You’d had his back through everything and it seemed like he was the only one who understood how amazing you were.
“And where do you propose I look for this mythical man, Eds? Nobody looks at me like that” you countered, trying to shrug this off again.
All of that sounded great but you weren’t some perfect little princess that someone was going to fawn over.
You never had been.
You were messy and chaotic, and most of the time you didn’t even know what you meant when you spoke, so it was impossible to expect someone else to. You couldn’t be someone’s perfect other half, because you weren’t perfect.
This time Eddie didn’t bother to answer you. The look on his face was more than enough to prove the point, as he looked at you desperately, waiting for you to put the pieces together.
Nobody looked at you like that, except for him.
Oh.
“That’s not funny, Eddie” you warned, naturally assuming he was only messing around to make you feel better but that wasn’t the case at all, and looking at you now, he could tell you knew that.
He was so tired of watching deadbeat losers break your heart, always having to pick up the pieces when he knew that he could love you right the first time.
He had always had your back and would die for you if necessary, so why was it so outlandish that the two of you could be a couple.
You had done everything else together your entire lives.
You slept in the same bed for nearly a year when your dad left the first time and you didn’t have anywhere to go. He’d seen you naked more times than he could count, and his uncle already adored you.
Eddie had learned all your favorite songs on his guitar and kept all your favorite snacks in a box in his closet. He watched all your favorite movies and even tried to bake a cake for your last birthday, for Christ's sake, so why couldn’t you see him like that?
What was it about him that made that so outlandish? Why couldn’t you love him like he loved you?
“I’m being serious. I love you…I always have, you just have to give me a chance”
This time there was not a hint of teasing in his voice as practically begged you to see him, for once in your life, because he was here for you. He was here  because he wanted to be and because he saw you and loved what he saw.
That was it.
It was insane, sure, but that was what it was.
Eddie was in love with you.
..but Eddie couldn't really be in love with you, could he? Nerdy, goofball Eddie who once hid your bra in the freezer, and lied about it?
It didn’t seem plausible, still, he was also the same Eddie who sat with you when you got your heart broken the first time, and every time after that. The same guy who cleaned you up the first time you got too drunk to stand, and who always walked you home.
“Oh my God”
It was a tad bit anticlimactic, given the fact that Eddie had just poured his entire heart out to you but under the circumstances, you didn’t have anything else.
You were an even bigger idiot than you thought.
When you thought back on it, Eddie was the only person in the world who had always been there for you, through thick and thin. He had proven himself over and over as the man you needed in your life, and you didn’t even see it.
“You can say that again” Eddie allowed, throwing his frame back against the back of the couch unceremoniously, the weight of his confession lifted for only a moment before returning tenfold.
He did it.
He actually told you he loved you.

Regular Customer | Chapter Two.
Eddie walked into the kitchen wearing soft cotton clothes that were not his style, at all. Since he started his friendship with Y/N, she had stacked some clothing items for him to change into when he stayed at her place unannounced. The night before was full of emotions and she convinced him to change into more comfortable clothes while she washed the ones he was wearing. He had a few t-shirts and a couple of jeans that were more his style, but he wasn't allowed outside yet, so he didn't mind wearing some comfortable gray sweatpants and a pale blue sweatshirt. He found Y/N on the kitchen table surrounded by papers.
"Hi," he greeted softly.
"Eddie, hi," she smiled sweetly at him. Both of them showed signs of a very bad night. "I've been working on something."
Y/N walked him through her plan. She was going to frame Jason Carver for the murder of Chrissy Cunningham. He was known for losing his temper and being violent when someone was against his ideas; she knew there would be testimonies of people who had seen him act toxic towards his girlfriend. It was easy to frame him; he hated Eddie Munson, and if he'd seen his girl getting in the freak's van, Jason could've used the situation to frame him.
"It's still in process, but it will work."
"I don't know if I want someone innocent going through this, Y/N."
"We're not talking about throwing him under the bus, we're talking about giving a reasonable doubt. They might not be able to find proof that he's guilty, but they won't find proof to make you guilty either. The case will not sustain. I won't allow them to make you a monster."
"You sound bound and determined."
"I am pretty stubborn. I will protect my family no matter what and if I have to tell them I was the one who murdered Chrissy, I would."
The ferocity in her eyes made his eyes water. Eddie had never been protected with such strength. Blind trust was unfamiliar; he wasn't used to this. So, yeah, he cried and she hugged him.
They had some cereal for breakfast. After she was certain that Eddie would be fine alone in the house, she told him she was going to act normally in town to build her story.
She grabbed the tapes and got into her car. Her first stop was the library; she volunteered there from time to time, which made it easy for her to enter the records and put Jason's name as if he had taken books about demonic cults, activities, and murders. She'd read a lot of stories, including the one of Victor Creel, who assured his family was murdered by a demon there in Hawkins in a similar way Eddie had described. She made copies of the information and went to the high school building. Y/N was such a teacher's pet that she helped in administration. In other words, she opened Jason's locker without trouble and put the papers there.
With a jungle drum in her chest, Y/N felt the adrenaline running through her veins. She felt unstoppable. Entering Family Video, Y/N made a beeline to the counter in a hyper-vigilant state.
"Good morning, Steve. Robin. There, the movies."
"Hey! Y/N, you look better." Steve ran a hand through his hair with a smile.
She shrugged. "I guess."
"Is there anything you want to–"
"Oh my God! Isn't that the trailer park?" Robin asked, eyes glued to the TV screen that showed the news. "What the hell happened?"
Y/N felt the air leaving her lungs. They had found the body. Wayne had, probably, gone back home from work and found a dead girl, not a trace of his nephew. The poor guy must be terrified Eddie was murdered too, and the police– they wouldn't hesitate in blaming the boy. Y/N felt the bile going up her throat.
Dustin and Max burst into the store too, focused on their quest to pay attention to Y/N. Dustin jumped the counter, throwing everything to the floor, causing Steve and Robin to complain. The kid started to search for something on the computer and then she heard it, they were looking for Eddie.
She turned heel and ran out of the store.
"Wait. Wait. Are you looking for Eddie's friends?" Robin asked.
"Yes. He must need to hide somewhere. If we could–"
"No. No. I get that. But why aren't you going to the nerd club people's houses?" She interrupted him.
"They would call the police without a second thought."
"Fine. But, what if Max's right and Chrissy's death was related to the Upside Down, who would Eddie trust?"
"What?" The other three looked at her as if she had grown a second head.
"Who would Eddie go to if he had seen something crazy and hard to believe, something from another world?"
"Um… I don't know. Y/N's?"
Robin pointed to the door with both hands. "She was here just a second ago. And her parents aren't home. Eddie's with her, dingus."
"Shit."
*
Y/N drove as fast as she could. The police were too busy in the trailer park to care about traffic infractions right now. She was unable to hear anything else apart from her heartbeat; her breath was faster and faster until she parked inside her garage and pressed the button to close the gate with violence. Inside the house, Eddie was waiting for her.
A panic attack. That's what was hitting her. She hadn't had one in years!! It was a must for her to keep it together. Eddie needed her in one piece. Y/N threw water to her face in the washroom of the main floor before going down the stairs.
"Everything fine?"
"The police are at the trailer park. I think Wayne must've found the body," she whispered, terrified of watching him crumble before her eyes.
"Fuck! He must think I'm a mur–"
"No! Don't think like that about your uncle. Wayne loves you, Eddie. He must be terrified and in a few, I'm going to go talk to him. I might not tell him everything, but he needs to know you're safe."
"What did I do to deserve you?"
"Oh, honey, nobody deserves me," she winked at him cheekily.
While she was away, Eddie had changed clothes and burned down every cigarette he had on himself. On his run, he had ditched the van grabbing just the essentials from the back. Now that they were together again, he offered to cook something for lunch later on and she smiled at him.
The sound of a car in her driveway made them tense. She put a finger on her lips, begging him to be silent. Y/N grabbed a knife from the kitchen before answering the insistent doorbell ringing. She opened the door a few inches, enough to see the visit.
Dustin, Max, Robin, and Steve were waiting at her front door looking desperate and awkward.
"Shouldn't you two be working?" Y/N asked the older ones.
"Drop the niceties. We know Eddie's here. We're here to help," Dustin cut.
She painted the most charming smile on her face combined with a stern look in her eyes. "Why are you looking for Eddie here? He must be at his place."
"No. He's here," the kid insisted.
"Look, Y/N, we just want to help," Steve tried to sound persuasive.
"Leave. Please. Eddie's not here."
She was about to close the door when Max stopped her, "He didn't kill her. We know. We might know what killed Chrissy. We want to help."
They held the gaze in a tense silent dialog. Y/N sighed, opening the door all the way without letting them enter just yet. In a fast movement none of them could foresee, she'd grabbed Dustin by the collar and pushed him against the door frame; Steve moved instinctively to protect him, and she counted on that because the next thing he knew was that he had a sharp blade against his neck. Y/N wasn't looking at him. She was cowering Dustin with her height, an arm extended towards Steve with a knife held firmly.
"If you lie, you die. Understood?"
Y/N could tell they were taking her seriously; Dustin had never seen her like this and there was a hint of fear in his small eyes. He held up his hands in surrender.
"I swear over my mother."
"Over Dustin's mother," the others muttered.
She let them go relaxing her body and moving to the side; she didn't drop the knife. Closing the door behind them, she asked them to wait there before disappearing.
"What the hell was that?" Robin asked in whispers completely dumbfounded.
"It was badass," Max complimented.
"It was insane! In a good way. Shit, I didn't know she could be all ninja and stuff," Dustin added.
Steve was unable to form a coherent sentence. His body felt terribly warm and his knees were wobbly.
Not a minute after, she entered the hall with Eddie behind her. She seemed ready to slash their throats at the wrong word.
"You won't believe me. It's mental," Eddie moaned in pain.
"Try us."
After half an hour of explanations, not only about what happened to Chrissy but also about the Upside Down, the girl who used to have powers, and the monsters, Y/N finally left them in the living room and went to the kitchen. She put the kettle on.
Some knocking on the counter of the kitchen island made her turn. Steve was there with an awkward smile on his face.
"You've finally dropped the knife," he pointed out.
"For now."
"Are you alright?" He seemed truly concerned.
"I don't know. All I know is that the town will want Eddie's head on a silver platter and I won't allow it."
"If Hopper was here it would be much easier. He knew about all of this and he had an agreement with the government, you know."
"The freaks luck, isn't it? The only person who could help them is dead."
"We'll find a way."
Wasn't he cute? With his perfect hair, his big brown eyes, his concerned look, his wish to help… God! Why was it so hard to stop crushing on him? Steve didn't like her, and he never would; he'd said so himself.
Giving him her back so he couldn't read her pain, Y/N said "I'm working on it."
"What do you mean?"
"I have a plan. Tea? I don't have coffee, gives me migraine." She turned again with a fake smile on her face.
Steve sighed. He didn't know what was wrong with Y/N; he wasn't sure if he'd done something to upset her, so he couldn't apologize properly.
"We need to go to the trailer park. We might find a gate to the Upside Down. Some sort of opening that killed Chrissy," Dustin burst into the kitchen.
"It would be full of police we–" Steve started to complain, but Y/N cut him.
"I need to go there too. Maybe not right now, we can go tomorrow. Eddie'll stay here."
"The police might come here looking for him," Steve warned concern dripping from his voice.
"I'll take care of it."
She looked so determined that Steve found it very hard to stop looking at her and leaving her alone with Eddie Munson. He couldn't help feeling uneasy.
*
Y/N's car followed Steve's as he was getting closer to the trailer park when she had to stop. She saw how the four people in the car before hers got out. Thus so did she. She approached them in time to see Steve gesturing to Nancy Wheeler, who was talking to the police. Another body had been found.
"Are you going to wait for Nancy?" She asked.
"Yeah. She knows." Steve asked absently.
"Okay. See you later, I need to keep going."
"Y/N! Wait!" Dustin ran towards her and handed her a big walkie-talkie. "Use it to reach us in case you need it."
"Thank you, Dustin. Be careful."
"You too."
Y/N followed the police directions to get to the trailer park away from the crime scene. Wayne Munson was sitting under a big tree. His pale, concerned face lit up at the sight of his nephew's best friend.
"Wayne, I'm so sorry."
"Sweetheart, I don't know where he is but I assure you that he didn't do it. Eddie's a–"
"I know. Wayne," she held his calloused dry hands between hers, "he's safe."
The shadows in his eyes disappeared. Unable to contain himself, he hugged her tightly.
"God bless you, kid. You are an angel."
"He's scared. He ran because he knew how it looked and he knew no one would believe him. I'm working on it and I promise you that if Eddie has to leave the country I'll make sure he's safe."
Wayne couldn't recognize the woman before his eyes. He knew a cute shy girl that followed Eddie around and had some friendly banter with him; she wasn't that girl anymore. She was a strong woman ready to fight.
"Tell me if there's anything I can do."
"Pretend you don't know anything. Keep defending his innocence. I'm going to go to the police station to answer their questions before they decide to burst into my house. Don't worry too much, okay? He'll need you when all of this is over."
"Thank you," he kissed her hands in gratitude.

Hawkins Police Department was a stage and Y/N was a star.
She burst in fuming, cursing words demanding to see the idiot that was in charge of the Chrissy Cunningham murder. Of course, the town didn't know who had died yet, so they made her sit in a private office. She kept her act, yelling and shouting until officer Callahan entered with a cocky posture. Oh, she wasn't going to have any of it.
"Of course, they would give the case to an idiot like you. Of fucking course!"
"Hey, L/N, some respect to a police officer!"
"You got drunk and swam in our pool naked, Callahan."
"Unimportant. Are you friends with Eddie Munson?"
"Yes. Everybody knows I'm friends with him. Are you serious? Never mind, shut up and listen." He wasn't very pleased with her command. "Why the fuck is Jason Carver organizing a witch hunt against Eddie? Huh? The asshole frames Eddie and you all play along. Are you really that dumb?"
"That's a very strong accusation."
"Do I have to do your work for you? Chrissy's body was broken, wasn't it? Arms, legs, face… everything."
"How do you know that?"
Y/N put a copy of Victor Creel's story on the desk in front of Callahan. "It's the same that Victor Creel did. He assured it was the devil's work and Carver is claiming that the Hellfire Club is some sort of evil cult. Dude! We play a stupid fantasy board game! Oh, and before you ask, I found out about this because I do know how to do police work, unlike someone I know. I went to the library and looked into the records, I could find a list of titles Jason Carver had consulted. There you go." She put another piece of paper on the desk. "You could confirm it if you go to the library. By the way, the next step should be looking in his house and his lockers. Both, the corridor one and the gym one. He has killed two people and he's framing Eddie because he hates him."
"How do you know it was Jason Carver?"
"How do you know it was Eddie Munson, asshole? Have you asked where Jason Carver was on Friday after the game? No? I did. He hasn't been at home, that's for sure. Where's his alibi? And if you say 'with his teammates' let me tell you that those kids would say the sky is red just to not cross Carver. Have you talked to Chrissy's friends? They would tell you that she and Carver weren't the golden couple people thought; she wasn't happy with him and Lucy Knight claims that she's seen him hitting Chrissy once. Her mother was there too, in case you want the testimony of an adult. He is a privileged, white, rich, and popular boy that thinks that he can do anything he wants and he loses his temper more often than not. He had hit his teammates at least once. Now, if you take all the evidence and ignore it, let me promise you that the press would be my next stop."
"Let's pretend I believe you. The girl was in Munson's trailer."
"Callahan, are you stupid?"
"Y/N L/N!!"
"Chrissy had been having a rough week. I've seen her talking with the counselor often and crying in the washrooms. She was down and asked Eddie for something to calm her nerves. I'm going to pretend you're not as ridiculously stupid as you've been showing and I'm going to assume you know that Eddie sells weed. After the game, she went with him because of that. I know because we had a Hellfire Club reunion that ended around that time. Next thing I know, Carver is claiming Eddie's a murderer."
"Fine. Where's Eddie then? If he's innocent, why did he run?"
"I don't know!! That's why I'm here!! Eddie's missing and you don't care. You're looking for him like he's some sort of serial killer. What if Carver has him? Eddie could be dead for all I know!! And here you are being a complete asshole!!" And for the closure scene, some tears.
Oh, but Y/N didn't just cry; she sobbed, collapsing in the chair. She let it all out. All her frustration. All her fear. She'd been accumulating pain for the last week, and she allowed the tears to finally fall. Her body trembling, her breath shaking, she cried like a child for so long that she ended up tired with blood spots under her eyes.
When she made it to the car, Dustin's voice came annoyed from the walkie.
"Hello? Is anybody there? Nancy? Y/N? Robin? Code red. I repeat. Code red."
"I'm here, Dustin."
"Fucking finally! Something happened, we're going to the high school."
"Copy that. See you there."
*
Knowing about Max being the next victim was awful, but, at the same time, was great for the story Y/N was building against Carver. She knew the guy was actually a racist, and knowing that Lucas Sinclair was both on the team and on the freaks show was the motive Carver could've needed to mark Max as his next victim. While they shared information, Y/N gathered a few more pieces she needed and put them in Carver's locker in the gym. It was important to not put everything in the same place.
When Nancy started to talk about Victor Creel, Y/N scrunched her nose.
"You could've asked."
"What do you mean?"
"I knew about Creel's incident. I have the exact same copies you have there. I'm a volunteer at the library and I read a lot. Anyway, I'm using that story to frame Carver of the murders."
"You what?" Lucas was shocked.
"We can't clean Eddie's name, can we? What should we do? Should we hunt one of those Demogorgons, cut their head, and throw it in Callahan's face? How are they going to believe us?"
"But Jason's innocent."
"He's dangerous, and you know it. Let's be real here, the police won't be able to link the murders to either Eddie or Jason, but they already think Eddie's guilty. The doubt is enough for any lawyer to stop the prosecution."
"Still, that's a dangerous game you're playing," Nancy didn't seem pleased with Y/N's plan.
Y/N shrugged, "I'll do anything to protect my family and as I said to Eddie if I have to confess the murder myself I'll do it."
"That's ridiculous!!" Steve was the loudest in expressing his opinion.
"Let's just hope we don't need it, alright?"
None of them were pleased with Y/N's plan, but Max's safety was more important at the time. They decided she needed to be monitored and the basement of the Wheelers was the reunion point they agreed on. Y/N decided that the sting on her chest was unrequited; it was obvious that Nancy and Mike had been involved with the magical stuff since the beginning and that's why they decided to go there instead of the completely empty house of Y/N.
Before she could get into her car and leave, Steve opened the door for her.
"Have you been crying?"
The fact that he noticed made her feel warm all over. "Yeah, I was talking to the police. I know no one understands why I'm framing Jason, but I know what I'm doing. The town won't condemn him, he's too much like them."
"I understand. Truly. I never thought I'd lived a conspiracy like the one to kill JFK."
"Should I apply for a CIA job?"
"Definitely," he laughed. He was nervous now that she was looking him in the eyes again. "I'm going to babysit again. Are you coming to Nancy's?"
"I think Max has enough bodyguards. Eddie needs at least one, don't you think?"
"Right. Maybe we should go to your house. It would be easier than lying to the Wheelers."
"Perhaps. I think we should lay low. Your parents are home and if they see too many people in my house they might get noisy."
"Right. Again. Sorry. Umm… yeah. Well, then, see you tomorrow?"
"Give me a call with the walkie if you need me."
"Bring your knives."
She smiled at him entering the car. Steve closed the door for her and walked to his car, muttering under his breath; he looked over his shoulder and made an awkward gesture toward her. Why was he being so damn cute?
"Fuck. I'm in love with that idiot." Y/N told herself.
To be continued...

Part 7
💔💔😮‍💨
Well the weekend wasn't how you expected it to go. But other than being sick, it was the best weekend of your existence. Eddie stayed the whole time. He only left to take a shower and say hi to his uncle. Just to let him know where he was.
It was Wednesday morning and you were feeling tons better. All you needed was a big dose of Eddie Munson and you were good as new.
Though there was a lot to deal with involving your feelings for Eddie. You were honestly happy that you had him as a friend. He was a really good one at that. You never thought he would even want to be near you. But here he was proving all your insecurities wrong.
You were in theater class talking with Eddie when Mrs Adler came to talk to you guys.
" Okay you two. I have copies of the scripts for you. I would actually like both of you to practice the parts together. I want everyone of the main characters to learn each other's parts. So that everyone can get a chance to act each one. So y/n you will learn Julia and Sylvia's parts and Mr. Munson you will be learning Valentine and Proteus's part."
You and Eddie looked at each other. You guys would get to kiss after all.
Mrs Adler smiled handing you two the scripts.
You looked down at them. " When will the play happen?"
" Two months."
You nodded.
" I have the auditorium booked for next week. I expect you guys to at least have most of it memorized by then. Well your original part."
" Yeah we can do that." Eddie said
" Good. Mr Munson. You probably might want to find Miss Cunningham and figure out what time works best for you two."
Eddie nodded.
" Same goes for you." Mrs Adler looked at you.
You nodded.
When she left you couldn't possibly have a bigger smile. It was gonna happen. You were gonna finally get that kiss. But then the thought of Eddie kissing Chrissy first came. You didn't want his lips touching anyone else.
Stop it! You told yourself
" Hey sweetheart?"
You looked at Eddie and gave him a half smile.
"Think you feel good enough for a movie later?"
" Sure."
" Cool."
When the class was over Mrs Adler stopped Eddie. You said your goodbyes and Eddie watched you leave. With a smirk on his lips. He was finally gonna kiss you.
" Mr. Munson, I just want to let you know that I and a few students will be in the drama room after school making props."
" Oh. Umm okay."
" so you probably are gonna have to take date night somewhere else." She smiled
Eddie felt the blush creep up his neck. Was that what all the movie nights were? Were you guys dating?
He didn't correct her. He just nodded and left.
Eddie went to his next class not paying attention to God damn thing.
You guys couldn't watch the movie in the drama room and you guys couldn't do it at your place when your parents were home. So the only option was his place.
Eddie had never really been embarrassed about his place before. But now he was. He was freaking out so bad about it that after school he went to the woods to smoke. He should have got the movie before he was high. But his anxiety was through the roof.
" Eddie?"
He jumped. When he turned around he was met with scared eyes.
" Uhh Chrissy?"
" Hi. Umm sorry. I uhh was told I could find you out here."
" You were looking for me?"
" Yeah. Mrs Adler said we should talk."
" Oh...yeah" Eddie was nervous. He had never talked to Chrissy before.
He watched her walk towards the table and sit down.
"So uhh I was wondering when you would like to read the script together?" She said in a soft voice.
Eddie could sense that she seemed terrified. Was she really scared of him?
" Uhh whenever you're free I guess." He said slowly approaching the table. Putting out his joint in the process.
" umm."
She stood quiet for a minute.
" Are you okay Chrissy?" He said finally sitting down across from her.
" Umm sorry. It's just...Do you ever feel like you're losing your mind?" She asked, fidgeting with her fingers.
Eddie looked at her slightly suspicious. But she seemed nice so he thought he would try to get her to relax.
" Um, you know, just... on a daily basis. I feel like I'm losing my mind right now. I'm talking to Chrissy Cunningham, the queen of Hawkins High" he saw her shoulders relax. "You know, this isn't the first time that we've, um... Hung out."
"No?" She said finally looking at him.
"You don't remember? "
"I'm sorry. I..."
"That's okay." Eddie paused for a split second. He then grabbed his heart and fell backwards.
Chrissy gasped.
"I wouldn't remember me either, Chrissy."
Eddie got up and started brushing the leaves out of his hair. "Honestly, do I have stuff in my hair?"
Chrissy laughed. That made him feel better. She was getting comfortable being around him. So he decided to keep it up.
"You don't remember me?" He asked crossing his arms and smiled.
" I'm sorry." She smiled
"Middle school, talent show. You were doing this cheer thing. You know, the... the thing you do. It was pretty cool, actually. And I... I was with my band."
Chrissy's eyes widened and she smiled. "Corroded Coffin.
"Corro..." Eddie smiled clapping his hands and pointed at her. " You do remember."
" Oh my God! Yes, of course. With a name like that, how could I forget!?"
I dunno. You're a freak."
"No, you just... You looked so..."
"Different? Yeah. Well, uh, my hair was buzzed, and I didn't have these sweet old tatties yet." He said showing off his chest tattoo.
"You played guitar, right?"
" Uh-huh. Still do... Still do. You should come see us. Uh, we play at The Hideout on Tuesdays. It's pretty cool. We... We actually get a crowd of about five... drunks."
Chrissy giggled.
" It's not exactly the Garden, but you gotta start somewhere, right? So... "
"You know, you're not what I thought you'd be like."
Eddie put some hair in front of his face." Mean and scary?"
"Yeah."
" Yeah, well, I actually kinda thought you'd be kinda mean and scary too."
" Me?" She gave him a big toothy smile.
Eddie grinned and sat back down." Terrifying. Uh, so, in other good news, flattery works with me, so..."
Chrissy laughed again. " Well I umm look forward to working with you on this."
" Yeah?"
" Yeah. You just seem really fun."
Eddie chuckled. " Well I tried to be."
They sat there for a minute.
Eddie noticed that Chrissy's smile was fading.
" Umm Eddie?"
" Yeah sweetheart?"
Chrissy looked at the script and turned to the page where they were supposed to kiss.
Eddie watched her for a few seconds.
" Sweetheart?"
" Do you..Do you think it would be okay if we don't kiss. I...I don't want Jason to be upset."
' Uhh actually I was thinking about that too. I ummm don't get me wrong. Your pretty and I had a crush on you for the longest time."
" You did?"
" Y-yeah...But see ummm...there's this girl."
Chrissy smiled again. " yeah?"
" yup. She uhh she's actually playing Julia."
" Oh! You mean y/n. Yeah I know her. She is so nice. One time when I just got on the cheer team she helped me. I was having trouble memorizing all the chants and she found me crying in the bathroom. I told her why I was so upset and she went out of her way to make me flash cards of all the cheers we did. She spent hours helping me. Shes really a great person."
Eddie smiled thinking about you. You were such a good person. Even when you didn't have to be.
" Yeah. She's umm.. she's kinda...I don't know exactly what we are right now. But umm I kinda just want to kiss her you know."
Chrissy nodded. " Well you'll get your chance. But can I tell you something?"
" Shoot."
" If I was y/n. I wouldn't want my first kiss with you to be in front of the whole school."
Eddie rubbed the back of his neck. " I didn't think about that."
Chrissy gave him a thin lip smile.
" Can I ask you something?"
" Sure?"
Eddie started picking at his nails. " You know where I live right?"
" Umm no?"
" Oh uh Forest Hills trailer park."
" Oh yeah. I know where that is."
" Y-yeah...do you think that she would mind where I live?"
" You guys are friends right?"
" Yeah."
" Then I don't think she would mind it at all. From what I know about her. She doesn't judge people on that kind of stuff."
Eddie smiled again. Chrissy was right. You wouldn't be put off by him or his home.
" So uhh do you want to go over lines right now?" Chrissy asked.
" uhh I would but umm I kinda have a date."
Chrissy grinned. " With y/n I hope."
Eddie chuckled. " Yeah."
...
After school you walked towards the math club when you saw a note on the door. Jeff came and stood right next to you.
" Cancelled huh?"
" Yeah. Seems like it." You said kinda happy about it.
This meant you could spend a little more time with Eddie.
" So uhh what are you gonna do right now?"
You looked at Jeff. "Umm well I was going to find Eddie. But now that I think about it. Did Mrs Adler give you your scripts yet?"
" Uh yeah. Do you want to run lies with me?"
" Yeah we probably should. But I kind of have something to do today."
" Oh is it date night?"
Your eyebrows pinched together. "Umm what?"
" Yeah. You know. Movie night with Eddie? You guys are dating right?"
" Umm not that I know of."
" Really? That's what Gareth said. He said I couldn't ask you to winter formal because you and Eddie were going out."
You cleared your throat. " umm wait. You were gonna ask me to formal? And Gareth said Eddie and I were dating?"
" Yeah. And if you were I wouldn't want to do anything that would piss Eddie off."
" Did Eddie say anything that confirmed that?"
Jeff shook his head. " But he does talk about you a lot. Saying how pretty you are and how smart you are. He said that he liked spending time with you."
"He said that?" You averted your gaze to the ground.
" Yeah. But he never said you guys were together together."
You bit your lip. So Eddie did like you. Why didn't he say anything? You guys could have been together this whole time?!
" So are you guys? Together?"
You looked back at Jeff. " umm not right now we're not."
" But you like him too?"
" I..."
" It's cool. You don't have to answer that. I just thought maybe... nevermind. Umm so do you want to meet me in the auditorium tomorrow and practice?"
" Sure-sure...I'm do you know where Eddie is right now?"
" Yeah he said he was going to his smoking spot."
" umm where is that?"
" Uhh it's an old bench behind the football field. If you follow the path. You'll find it."
" Thanks Jeff."
You turned around and headed towards eddie. The smile on your face was so big you knew your cheeks were gonna hurt. The short distance seemed way longer than it should have been. You wanted to run there. Run to Eddie and just kiss him. But you didn't want to be out of breath and all sweaty. So you walked quickly.
You heard Eddie talking before you got there.
Talking to yourself too huh?
As you got closer you heard laughing. But not Eddie's. You stopped and heard a girl.
You didn't realize you were doing it but we're creeping closer to hear the conversation. Being as silent as you could.
"I feel like I'm losing my mind right now. I'm talking to Chrissy Cunningham, the queen of Hawkins High" "You know, this isn't the first time that we've, um... Hung out."
You're getting high with Chrissy?
As you continued to listen. Eddie seemed to be flirting with her. You felt your heart rate pick up and jealousy filled you. Your eyes started to water.
"You should come see us. Uh, we play at The Hideout on Tuesdays. It's pretty cool. We... We actually get a crowd of about five... drunks."
What?
Your heart broke right then and there. He never asked you to see his band. And you guys have been friends for months. This was his first time talking to Chrissy and he already asked her.
You're flirting. Why?
Tears started to fall and you covered your mouth to cover up the gasp that came with them.
Then you heard it. He called her sweetheart. That's when you had enough. You were done eavesdropping. You turned around and hurried back to the football field. Once you got there you slowed down and tried to catch your breath.
Deep breaths. Common y/n. Calm down.
You took a few deep breaths and wiped your face. You wanted to go home but you couldn't. Your brother would know you've been crying.
You ended up in your little nook and sat there with your knees up. You buried your face into your arms and cried as quietly as you could.
I thought he liked me.
Well you weren't the only one he liked. But why would he choose you? You and Chrissy were completely opposites. She was so pretty and so nice. And she was thin and blonde and a damn cheerleader. How the hell could you compete with her? There's no way in hell that Eddie would choose you over her.
Fuck you really couldn't do this anymore. You couldn't lose yourself for this "relationship". You had to look at things in an analytical stand point. Instead of letting your heart do the thinking. It was your brain in charge of how you felt. And you could control that.
You decided here and now that you would only be a helping hand. No more spending time together. No more late night phone calls, no more movies. You were done. You needed as much distance as you could. But still be available to tutor him and work on the play together. But that was it. No more and no less.
You had to. You could keep hurting yourself for a fantasy. You had to be done. You needed to be done with Eddie.
...
You let yourself cry and cry. You cried until you had nothing left and your throat was raw. You sat there for a little while longer trying to talk yourself to stop caring so much about him. You kept hearing him call Chrissy sweetheart and you just broke all over again.
Finally when you were calmed down enough you took the long way home. It started to rain and you cried again. Now you could go home and no one would ask about it.
You stopped in front of your front door and put on a smile. You said your hellos and went to your room.
" Hey golden child. Eddie called." Your brother said.
" Oh. Umm okay thanks. I'm gonna shower before I get sick again."
You walked past him and locked yourself in the bathroom. You debated calling him back. But you needed time.
You took so long in the shower your mom started banging on the door telling you to get out.
When you finally got out you went to your room and started doing your homework.
"Hey gearhead. Eddie called again." Your brother sounded annoyed.
" Yeah okay. Sorry. I'll call him back." You said not looking at him.
" Are you okay sis?"
" Y-yeah. I just got so much to do. And lines to learn."
" Are you sure?"
You looked at him and smiled. "I'm good snot wad."
Your brother laughed " Alright kid. Don't work too hard."
When he left you got up and locked your door. You went to your record player and put on a vinyl.
You went back to work when the phone rang. You got up and turned the ringer off. You knew it was Eddie. But you couldn't talk to him. Not yet.
You went back to work. You read and read all your lines. Your concentration was interrupting by a song.
You listened and every word hurt.
🎵
What a wicked game you play, to make me feel this way. What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you. What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way. What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you
And I don't wanna fall in love.
No, I don't wanna fall in love.
With you.
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you. Strange what desire will make foolish people do. I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you. And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you.
🎵
The universe had a funny way of giving you signs like this. You sat there wishing you never fell in love with him.
Out of nowhere your dad screamed out your name.
You got up and went out to the living room. You were surprised to see Mrs Clark sitting on the couch.
" Have a seat." Your fathers voice was cold and angry.
You listened and sat on the love seat opposite from Mrs Clark and your mom.
" Mrs Clark has brought to our attention that her son saw the Munson boy stay here this past weekend. Is this true?"
You looked at Mrs Clark in disbelief.
" You have a lot of nerve." You said to her
" I beg your pardon." She said.
" That's enough! So it's true. You were being a whore with that...that freak!" Your mother stood up and slapped you.
"MOM!" Your brother yelled. "STOP! HE WAS HERE WITH ME!"
You sat there with tears in your eyes. You saw your brother put down the phone and try to come to you. But your mother stopped him.
"My son said while he was cutting the neighbors grass he just so happened to see through the bedroom window and saw them sleeping together."
"THAT'S NOT TRUE!" Your brother yelled at your father who came to you.
He got in your face. " Are you going to just sit there and not answer for your indiscretions?"
Your brother knew if you told the truth. Things were about to get a hell of a lot worse.
You looked over to your brother. If you didn't tell the truth he would probably get hurt a whole lot worse than you would.
" Y/n!" Your brother yelled.
You looked back at your father.
" Y-yes. He was here with me." You replied.
Your dad turned around and pulled Mrs Clark by her arm. " I think it's time you leave. Thank you for informing my wife and I about this."
He quickly shoved her out of the house.
Your brother tried to get out of your mom's arms but she kept saying if he didn't stop he was going to get double.
Your father turned around and walked toward you.
" You will not see that boy ever again! Do you hear me? His is not allowed within a hundred yards of this house. And if I ever catch him here I will make sure my buddies at the sheriff's department lock him away for a long time."
You hung your head and let out a small nose laugh. "No."
"NO!"
"Y/n!? Don't." Your brother begged
"You don't get to tell me who I can be with or who I can see. So no."
" HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO YOUR FATHER!"
You looked at your dad and saw nothing but rage.
" I'm sorry dad. But I'm not doing this shit anymore."
Your dad picked you up by your arms and grabbed a pillow. He held it to your stomach and punched you.
"DAD!! PLEASE!" Your brother cried out.
You leaned over and fell to the ground. You heard your father undo his belt and started beating you.
Somehow your brother got past your mother and went to tackle your dad. You tried to get up but your mom held you there by your hair.
"Look at what you've done!"
She moved your head to look at your father and brother. They were rolling around throwing blows at each other.
Your dad was much bigger and way stronger. You cried watching your brother get beaten.
" Daddy! Please!" You cried.
Your father stopped and looked down at your brother who was bleeding. He then looked at you and shook his head.
" You shouldn't have gotten involved boy." Your dad said getting up. "Honey let her go. She's had enough."
Your mother listened and let your hair go. " Clean your brother up."
You crawled to him and pulled him into your lap.
"Damnit. You should have stayed out of it." You whispered
" I promised I wouldn't let you get hit without me." He grunted
" I hope you're happy. No go to bed!" Your mother ordered.
" No." You said softly.
"Y/n don't." Your brother pleaded.
You looked at him. "No. I'm done. We're getting out of here. They can't keep doing this to us."
" I said go to your room!"
" NO! We are not staying another night in the place with you!" You shouted.
Your mother was about to charge you but your father stopped her.
You were always closer to your dad. You knew after every beating he would feel so bad after. But it never stopped him from the continuous abuse over the years. So you used that to your advantage tonight.
" If they want to go. Let them honey. They will come running back sooner or later."
You pulled your brother to his feet. You grabbed both your jackets and shoes. You grabbed his car keys and went outside.
You sat on the front porch helping him put on his shoes.
" Fuck!" He said trying to clean up his bloody nose. " It's not broken is it?"
You looked him over. " No. I think you're good."
You started to put on your shoes when headlights blinded you for a second. You saw two guys at first.
Then you saw a mess of curly hair bouncing to you.
Eddie?

The Hero of Hawkins
Eddie x F!Plus size reader
Eddie and Y/N fall in love but he sacrifices himself for Hawkins
Word Count: 828

*I quickly wrote this so please forgive me for how bad it is written lol
---------
Y/N was friends with Robin for years, they both hit it off in middle school in which they bonded over their love for Madonna. Y/N was always seen as the nerd and would back away from any form of confrontation. She was a big girl in terms of weight and others would judge her appearance. Robin was one of her only friends until she got dragged into the Upside Down drama and started a new friendship with Steve and Dustin.
Y/N was still in school for one more year and was sad when Steve and Robin graduated but at least she still had Dustin who was going to be joining her in high school. Others judged her for hanging out with fourteen year olds but she had no one else. That was until Dustin asked if she wanted to join the D&D club, better known as The Hellfire Club. You weren’t going to lie, when you first heard the name, you thought it was a club for Devil worshippers until Dustin explained what it actually was. That’s where she met him: Eddie Munson.
You two hit it off from the get go, you got to be freaks together. You would hang out in his trailer listening to him jam out on his guitar. You couldn’t believe the passion he had for music and you supported his dreams of being in a successful band. You started to open up and tell him things you had never told anyone before such as how you felt insecure because of your body and how you would never get a boyfriend because you were weird. Eddie always reassured you and would say “you never know who could be in love with you and maybe they’re scared too tell you”. You would always laugh in his face and tell him he was being silly. He’d also share his worries too, like how he felt abandoned by his dad and that he hoped he would never end up in jail like him. He’d tell you about how when you both graduate, he would pack up the van with all your belongings and go on a road trip across America and then settle down somewhere and focus on his music and you both would just live your best lives.
You always admired his optimism and imagination, you really wanted to believe this would come true. This dream is shattered when he is accused of killing Chrissy Cunningham and he has to go into hiding. He sneaks into your bedroom and is still shaken up from what he witnessed in his trailer. He tells you he has to hide, there and then is when you decide you are joining him. He, of course, protests and you interrupt, “No! I am with you always.” He finds comfort in your words.
You hide for days in the boat house waiting for your gang to come back with food and drink as you were running low. You both are sitting in silence drinking the last of the beer, you feel a little tipsy and when you are tipsy that is when you start to become more truthful. You confess to Eddie, “I have feelings for you, I have for a long time. I understand if you don’t feel the same.” He stares at you wide eyed, “shut up” he demands. He leans forward and kisses you softly on the lips. That night you both make love to each other and admit that it is your first time.
The next few days entail of you fighting for your lives and just when you thought you were in the clear, you see Eddie defenceless against the bats. You hold him in his arms, his last words were I love you, you scream for him to wake up but he doesn’t.
When you get back to Hawkins you can’t stop crying. Robin and Steve try to console you but you are beyond consoling. One day, you are sitting on a park bench feeling numb about Eddie’s death. Steve is sitting next to you in silence. After a while you admit to Steve, “I can’t believe he is gone. He didn’t run, he died a hero and this town will never know. They will always believe he was a murderer. I- we will always know what he did”. After a few moments, you speak again, “You know, he was the only person who truly knew me and I, him. He was my best friend. I hope that wherever he is, he is happy. One day we will meet again, I am sure of it.” Steve can hear the desperation in your voice, he knows in that moment that you lost your soulmate and doesn’t say anything because nothing can bring Eddie back and nothing he says will help you so he remains silent while you both sit on the park bench and think about the hero of Hawkins: Eddie Munson.

getting high with best friend!chrissy would be so much fun because she’d take one puff and suddenly have a gay awakening.
she’d be like, “girls are so lovely… and hot… you’re so hot… and, uh, and lovely too! i mean, you’re just lovely. my lovely best friend! ………. no wait.. you are hot… really fucking hot! even your tummy is hot! and stomachs aren’t supposed to be hot, right? like they’re just stomachs??? but yours is…. especially when you wear that red bikini. you should wear that more often. i know you don’t because you’re insecure, but you shouldn’t be. you’re really hot. plus your bikini lets me see your tummy, and i like your tummy. it also lets me see your boobs, kinda… i really like your boobs…. can i- can i touch them???? …. and maybe eat you out too?”
and you’re just baffled like, “holy shit, girl, you’ve only taken one hit.”
