Ahhh the soulmatesTM fic. Yessss, so this is actually a completely self indulgent math-infused alternate reality fic where Veronica is a COO of SoulSystemsTM (a subsidiary of lodge industries) and they use personal data to match people based on behaviours which has grown so much traction and success that it is now imperative in modern life and the economy.

Jughead works as a philosophy professor who abhors this idea and does everything to undermine the system, using all his connections to the underground resistance (the Southside Serpents) and this unhinged PI, our fav gal B Coops, to bring it down before he is assigned his match.

It's kind of a sci fi, spy ish kind of vibe with gratuitous use of mathematics and optimisation so I don't now if it's the soul mate fic you're looking for, but it's the soul mate fic that I want to write hahahahah

i don't know if this is an actual fic or it's just my brain 😅 but i was wondering if you know a fic where betty (maybe) on the run from someone or somewhere and ended up meet jughead in the Whyte Wrym, and one of the serpent knows about betty are on the run bcs he found a 'missing person poster' about betty, and jughead of course protect her. Thankyouuu so much, again😁🙏
